Shioshi grunted with exertion as he dropped heavily from the three-story building he'd been standing on a few moments before, catching himself repeatedly with the window sills so that he wouldn't just drop and break something when he struck the ground. He reached the sidewalk a moment later, crouching as he landed to absorb the impact, then stood back up to his full height, rolling his shoulder to relieve some of the tension that had built there as he'd fallen. Grimacing, he glanced around, taking in his surroundings quickly to make sure no one was around, even though he was a Shinigami and normal humans couldn't see him. A moment later, Mia, a fellow squad mate from the 5th Division, joined him from the roof, landing a bit lighter on her feet than Shioshi had. She threw Shioshi a grin before similarly taking in the area around them.

"The area seems clear for the moment," said Mia, after the two of them had surveyed their surroundings for over a minute. Shioshi smirked and nodded, relaxing, but still kept a hand on the hilt of his Zanpakutou, wanting to be ready the very second the situation changed. He moved out into the middle of the street, glancing back and forth before nodding his own affirmation to Mia's observation. They were, for the moment, alone. Sighing, he dropped his hand from the hilt of his weapon, turning to face his fellow Shinigami. She, of course, was not as worried as Shioshi was that there could be enemies of any sort in the vicinity. They were good friends, but sometimes Shioshi wondered how she'd survived for as long as she had as a Shinigami when she so often simply was not cautionary enough.

"Always good to be sure," Shioshi replied, ending with a shrug. Technically speaking, this was the end of their patrol route; they could return to the Soul Society now. And yet, something was digging at the back of his head, and he couldn't shake the feeling that someone, or something, was in the area. Whether dangerous or not, he couldn't let it go without being sure whatever it was would do no harm to humans or the Pluses. He turned back to face Mia once more. "Why don't you head on back to the Seireitei? I want to check on something before I head out," Shioshi continued, and before Mia could argue against it he raised a hand as if to silence her. He threw Mia a wink, and she blushed before nodding her head in surrender and quickly opening a gate back to the Soul Society.

"Please be careful, Shioshi," Mia called before she walked through the gate. Shioshi chuckled in response, before turning away and quickly returning to the rooftops.

"Oh please, I'm me," he said with a grin, before extending his senses outward. He flared his Reiatsu to get the attention of whatever was in the area, and then he began his own search, leaping from building to building as he sought the source of this uneasy feeling that seemed to pervade his senses.

Being on a separate patrol from Shioshi, still it was a dull one, nothing really happened, and as soon as Lavi got the chance, he seperated from his team, he told them to finish up the patrol on their own, being a seated member, he was senior to them, so they did as he said.
He quickly got hold of another pair of shinigami on patrol, and he decided to follow them, just for the hell of it, he made sure to suppress his Spiritual energy so he would not be discovered, it was a boy and a girl, kinda sweet really, maybe he should play a prank on them, sure he could get in a bunch of trouble for it, but just until his captain pulled him out of it, she had a weak spot for pranks as well after all.

In the end the chance for a prank did not show itself, before he knew it the girl went back trough a spirit gate, but the boy was staying behind and flared up his reitsu, Lavi could not hold himself back, he had to mock this guy just a little.
Lavi took out his hammer, he made it grow slightly, placed it on the edge of the building next to the boy, took hold of the handle, and made the handle of the hammer extent himself, so he got down behind the boy, hanging upside down.
"Wow letting the girl go to safety while you stay behind to fight the monsters, and they say chivalry is dead" Lavi was prepared that he would most likely be attacked because he had sneaked up on the boy like that, so Lavi was ready to make the handle retract itself if he was attacked.

Zen walked through the streets slowly looking around at the many humans that filled the city. He had took the trip to this city simply because he was in the mood to feast, Zen's ebony locks fell slightly over his face a single wavy lock fell between his eyes touching the ridge of his nose. His eyes fully a pink hue and filled with a small glow stared into the distance today they would manage to instill a lingering enigma of fear and wonder within its observers. , his attire was the usual, It is entirely black, tailored to signify his philosophical standpoint as the reason for his moniker. Consisting of only two pieces, it almost appears like a luxury suit. The top covers even the hands, and is medium-collared at the neck, with a V that goes down to a point at his chest followed by four white pearl button's. Below the waist it splits off into four strips which go down to his ankles. Lastly, the bottom is equally plain and also covers even the feet in their entirety, though of course there are internal shoes integrated within a pure black color due to his stain proof fiber. Kibu was tucked on zens left shoulder laying with it's tail falling over his right shoulder. Kibu a pink, bipedal cat-like doll. It has a long, skinny tail ending with a rounded tip and big hind legs and short arms with three-fingered paws. Kibu's feet are very large with oval markings near its three toes it's triangular ears stand out along with it's forever gazing baby blue eyes. Zen walked through the streets slowly looking through the crowd for the right victim. Zen stopped looking at a women standing a few feet infront off him there eyes locked the two just stared at each other for a moment, Zen gave a small seductive smile as he slowly walked toward the women who gave a giggle as zen wrapped his hands around her gripping her waist, he whispered in the women's ear the words that were said would remain unknown but would fill there given task as Zen began to walk down the street holding the girls hand, the two made there way down the street. After a short while the two were in a ally way between two large buildings within the city the girl's hands moving about zen's chest she finally spotted kibu thinking it was a bag she noticed it was indeed real, she began to gasp in excitement starting to pet kibu but Zen quickly grabbed the womens hair pulling her head back as he stuck his teeth into her neck pulling her soul from her body. Her body fell liml to the ground as Zen gave a sigh that almost sounded pleasurable as he cracked his neck looking at the body and simply began to walk off looking for his next target it was almost like a game, how many could he get...

Instinct alone had Shioshi's Zanpakutou in motion before he even realized what was happening, acting in response to his surprise. As he saw that it was a fellow Shinigami that had spoken, it was willpower that brought his blade to a stop. His face flushing a deep red, he quickly re-sheathed his weapon and bowed, then finally paused long enough for this other man's words to sink in. Once more, he found himself blushing, and he raised his hands in defense as he replied.

"Ah. Well. You see, I think you may have misunderstood that... situation... ah..." he mumbled, finding it difficult to find the words to bring forth a proper explanation. Sure, Mia was cute, and they had become pretty close in the time since they'd first met, but still... Why was he getting so flustered over this?! He'd never even thought about this before, and yet, one simple tease from a fellow Shinigami he'd never even met before and he was suddenly unable to even speak. Closing his eyes and taking a deep, calming breath, he extended a hand out towards the other man, an easy smile replacing his flustered expression.

"Disregarding that, my name is Shioshi Reinuu, of the 5th Division. Pleased to make your acquaintance," he said, and, whether or not the other Shinigami had shook his hand, he brought it back down to his side and rolled his shoulder, releasing a bit of tension. Then he continued. "You are?" As he asked this, he flashed a confident grin. All trace of his uneasiness from before was gone at this point. A few moments later, though, he felt some strange Reiatsu not too far away, and he found his gaze turning in that general direction, eyes narrowing as he sought its source.

Little did he know, there was someone watching silently from the shadows, and as Shioshi's gaze swept past his hiding place, that quiet watcher decided it was quite time he reported back to his master. The figure turned and headed away, knowing that his superiors would be wanting to know if there were Shinigami in the area, especially tonight, of all nights.
