Kaiyo was not comfortable. She was wearing her usual uniform, with her usual scruffy disregard for formality but she could still feel the threads scratching her skin. Nobles had this affect on her. Kaiyo didn't like to be one to judge, but just knowing she had to go to the Ryukyu house had put her on edge. The tension in the small girls shoulders was only increased by the formality of her visit: Kaiyo was overdue a more serious conversation with Captain Akihiko, she'd only spoken to guy a few times, but that was largely her fault for avoiding him. Still, a few upcoming missions involved both of their squads and such was protocol that Kaiyo had headed over to talk them through.

The first irritation had actually occurred a few weeks ago, when she tried to just drop in on the man. Apparently, this was a little rude and despite her obvious annoyance at the fact, she'd been sent away with an official appointment time. Now she felt like she was on show for all the damn family. Kaiyo trudged like a petulant child through the first district of Rukongai, her haori bellowed along with her swaying stomps. The clean streets were a stark difference to the lower districts she was more accustomed to, people still stared though; that had long since become a regular occurrence.

Finally, she reached the Ryukyu house compound, it looked as pompous as her mind assured her it would be. Fighting back a snarl, she rubbed the back of her neck with a long, drawn-out sigh. The girl had barely managed to knock on the door before someone opened it, already bowing as if they actually stood like that normally. Her shoulder jerked uncomfortably at the woman as spoke; her gaze still planted at Kaiyo's feet. 'Captain Saiyouko, thank you very much for arriving in a timely fashion, it is an honour to meet you, and welcome you to the Ryukyu house.' There was a pause, Kaiyo's reluctant gaze finally drifted to the woman, uncertain of what she was waiting for. She didn't move a muscle. A grimace traced around her lips as she smiled politely, 'Thanks' she finally replied, allowing the woman to stand. She was tall, in fact she towered over the white robed Captain by quite a way.

'Please, follow me'

PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeSat Jun 29, 2013 11:38 am

Kaya was going through her usual duties as a representive of the family, she needed to be taught manner and etikette, boring stuff since she had been taught since the day she spoke her first word. Though brutal as it was it had made her the person she is today, and through that had gained certain perks, both good and bad. Fially she was able to call it a day, where she politely bowed to her tuto and left the room. Her eyes darted to the sun, making the right speculation to the time, though it wasn't hard to figure out it was about time, the place seemed empty, more so than it normally would. Figures that even if this was a noble family, a captain's visit came rarely, one of the many reasons her brother were so loved.

She sighed, knowing that her duties weren't over just yet, she was to bear the rather bad news of wasted time to the arriving captain afterall, even though she was one of the few that even knew that this might be the cause, which meant the courtesey would run as it should where the captain would be led to the confrence room. "Why couldn't he for once not be such a goody goody two shoes..." She figured by the way the place was acting, she was allready too late to meet the captain at the door, so she would have to figure out a way to stay less wasteful for the captain, she speed up her feet, rushing to intercept.

Kaya soon reached pretty close to where Kaiyo was being escourted and slowed down, calmed her breath before stepping out from the corner and putting on a soft smile first sending a gentle look to Kaiyo then faced the woman that were currently her escourt. "Thank you, I'll take care of the captain from here" Another soft and friendly smile as the woman was dismissed, she then faced Kaiyo again, she knew she wasn't the tallest, but she had beleived they would have been height equals, but even Kaya was taller, not as much as the other woman ofcourse.
"Captain Saiyouko was it, I'm Kaya Ryukyu, right this way then I'll show you a place where you can relax" She elegantly moved in the same dirrection Kaiyo had been led all along, cursing within herself as she still haven't really figured out how she was going to explain it all, but she kenw she had to lead her into the more private rooms where the staff couldn't spy on them.

Before long the reached a room, where Kaya first went in opening the door, stepping aside letting Kaiyo enter first, the room would be big, japanese living room, a table was there with alot of fruits allready on, though it was japenes style the furniture was two couches and two chairs which was more western. "Please make yourself at home, can I get you something to eat or drink?" She fidgeted lightly with her clothes, trying to figure out what to do from here, for now she could atleast let the captain act first. Her clothes is the standart Shinigami Kimono infact, though with a dark blue rope over it, the Family's symbol on the back.

Kaiyo had calmed down a bit, she felt bad for making the tall woman stay bent over for so long, so she'd been throwing overly friendly smiles to her as they moved through the halls. Kaiyo didn't even bother trying to remember the route they took in, she just followed mindlessly until her escort was relieved of her duties. Kaiyo nodded with a quick smile to the new woman, unable to help the quick assessing glance of the Shinigami. The blonde girl smirked silently to herself, her new escort was clearly more combat ready than most shinigami she stumbled across; the give-away was subtle in the way she carried herself, but a seasoned fighter like Kaiyo could tell a lot from just a walk. Though nobles generally were better trained, the higher reiatsu was a pleasant surprise. Always on the look-out for squad members, but somehow she doubted they'd be a great fit. 'Nice to meet ya' she nodded back to the girl; wondering if her face just seemed naturally frowny.

Kaiyo nodded a brief thanks as she stepped in to the room; assuming the whispers from the staff were the reason for the imposed privacy but she was sad to see the sunshine go. The girl didn't bother looking around fully, instead she made her way over to the nearest sofa, turning around to ask for a drink as she paused. Her eyes narrowed in on Kaya as she stood fidgeting in her neat uniform, observant as ever; another trait the blonde girl couldn't quite help. Kaiyo spoke in her usual cheery voice, as casual and relaxed as anyone might sound, 'Why so nervous?' she mused, turning back around as she flopped on to the sofa. Her untidy uniform creased and folded around her small frame; betrayed ever so slightly by the clearly defined muscles in her forearms. Kaiyo brought her feet up and crossed her legs, shuffling to get comfortable before facing Kaya again.

'Green tea would be great, when's...' she stalled her words as she looked at the girl again; the penny finally dropping to the fact that she was the sister of Captain Akihko, 'Your brother gunna get here?' she smiled, creases appearing around her crystal blue eyes.

Kaya tensed up quite alot, knowing that her nervous way of being had been seen, figures it was a captain afterall, so seeing things like this would proberly be daily basis amoung her squad members. She sighed deeply calming herself, knowing she had aot ridding on her success in handling these kind of situations. "No reason.. nothing serious atleast" She put on a more pleasant and relaxed smile slowly drifting a finger above her head pulling a stand of hair behind it. Finally she closed the door, seeing as the captain had went and plased herself more pleasantly.

She nodded lightly as her request had been made, and so she went and quietly asked for some green tea, ofcourse she ordered for two cups seeing as te could calm down Kaya aswell, which might just be what she needed. She turned back letting a soft giggle slip her lips. "I see nothing slips past you, captain" she complimented as she moved over sitting down in a chair finally getting down to actually answering the question. "About my brother... he had some emergency duties that has kept him from this specific time..." She sighed deeply knowing that some captains would act rather rash and annoyed over these kind of knews. She didn't let the conversation linger for long before she continued. "I'm truely sorry to have wasted your time, but I'm here to represent the family, though I truely don't know the nature of your need to talk to my brother, but I'm also here to represent him if possible... hopefully he'll return at some point..." She felt like a huge brick had lifted from her shoulders, knowing that now she had atleast explained things, atleast without going into way to many details such as the nature of the emergency, which Kaya weren't even sure was needed to mention.

It was first now Kaya could finally begin to take in Kaiyo as a person, truthfully she didn't know what to expect, ofcourse she had her brother being a captain, but all captains were differend aparently, Kaiyo was special in that case, her body didn't seem like one to be captain rather than to be a child, but she knew for a long time the way the spirits in this world worked, knowing that it weren't surpricing that a body such as Kaiyo's could contain enormous ammonts of power. This place was truely a place where you couldn't judge a book on its cover.

Kaiyo hadn't noticed the girl's reaction, her eyes were fixated on the large bowl of fruit, her hand hovering loosely around each piece. She nodded, more to herself than Kaya at the response, plucking an apple from the pile as she leant back in the sofa. Having been far too engrossed in the shiny collection, her mind took a second to catch up and she turned back to Kaya with her query, 'Nothing serious?' she repeated, sounding less convinced. Kaiyo shrugged it off as Kaya finally moved further in to the room, munching lightly on her bite of apple. She smirked, scoffing back a slight laugh as her eyes wandered back to Kaya. 'We'll see' she retorted off the cuff, not meaning it to sound perhaps quite as menacing as it did.

Kaiyo's brow furrowed slightly, thoughtfully as she continued to silently chew on her latest enormous bite of apple. Had she not been so pre-occupied by this task, she likely would have been a lot more annoyed: there was still time for that though. Kaiyo leant forwards, placing the rest of her apple on the edge of the table as her mouth skewed to one side. 'Right' she affirmed slowly. Nothing too serious my ass Her hand moved up to her face, sweeping her hair back as she ruffled it gently. She sighed, tilting her head back to the ceiling. It was no this girl's fault, she repeated that to herself a few times, trying to calm down a bit. She could feel her face flushing a vague tint of rose. Her left hand moved down to her blade, a subconscious response of the Captain. 'So i'm meant to plan my squads missions with the Captains sister?' Her eyes narrowed ever so slightly as she spoke, trying her hardest not to sound pissed off. After all the bloody hassle of making a damn appointment, she'd really just been left here without warning.

In a split moment, a golden spark shot across her eyes; fast enough to be missed if you weren't paying attention, her vision dropped to the floor. 'Why was he called away then? Must've been urgent if I'm only finding out now' She leant forwards an inch or so to Kaya, pressing her for at least a more stable reason. As for the planning, she didn't have the time herself to reschedule, so she'd probably have to just talk it through with this girl; Kaiyo wasn't even sure what squad she was in.

PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeSat Jun 29, 2013 1:45 pm

Kaya felt the tension rise within her body, not that she couldn't cope with it, it was just well tense for her. She ahd to deal with this in the best manner possible. She kept a pleasant face, even though her body almost trembled in fear, she had only recently graduated from the academy, she knew the power of an angered captain could most likely make her sck just by being near her. So she really had to mind her words.

Her eyes widened slightly as she finally realised what the nature of Kaiyo and her brothers appointment was about, she bite her lip, calming herself down trying to fgure out a prober way to go about this, well manner of bad timing all together. "So thats what this meeting was about... thats unfortunate..." she gulped lightly, her eyes darting the hand now that was now resting on the sword, knowing that if Kaiyo choose to attack the chances of dodging would be higher than to be able to actually pull out her own sword in response. By that estimate she remained ready but without reaching for her own weapon. "I doubt that I'd be as helpful as my brother but I will surely do my best..." She said, without a shred of doubt in her words, she knew alot afterall, the reason she all along hadn't been out hearching for a division of her own was cause she had managed some of Akihiko's dealings with his division, along with some of his duties within the family. She hoped it would change soon though, she didn't particualy like this arrangement.

Kaya blinked taking a glance to each side making sure that tea wouldn't actually catch the words next spoken off, by her estimates she could atleast tell the reasons behind this predicament before the tea arrived. "12th division had called on my brothers division for some help testing some... Training simulations I beleive, some ran amok cause some distress" She held a slight pause as the tea arrived, a young girl came in with a tea pot and two cups placing a cup at both Kaya and Kaiyo then softly poured a cup for both, then made a gentle bow and left the room, where Kaya felt it right to continue. "And thats why my brother was called to pacify and well make sure his division members could leave with nothing but a couple of bruises..." She smiled softly, hoping the explanation would suffice.

Kaiyo noticed the girl, at this point she thought her tension seemed glaringly obvious, but she was too busy controlling her own rage at the moment. Kaiyo's usually soft eyes seemed darker, more intense and fixated directly on Kaya when the moment of worry hit her face. A slow sigh escaped her parted lips. Clearly this girl had just been sent to clean up the mess, without even being told what to expect. It was probably fortunate that this noble girl seemed to have a solid grasp of keeping herself calm; in fact Kaiyo was a little impressed by it. She shrugged, reluctant to discuss such matters but knowing she'd have no other choice.

Her blonde hair swayed down her cheek as she leant forwards slowly to pick her apple up again. This time, Kaiyo couldn't hold back a laugh, it surprised even her as she giggled back in her seat, breaking the tension between the pair as the woman entered to pour them both a cup of tea. She rubbed her eyes, returning their crystal gaze back to a soft expression as she watched the woman leave the room. 'Heh, I wouldn't attack you' she giggled. Of course she'd been pretty hostile, but even Kaiyo knew better than to attack a freshly made shinigami of noble lineage. 'What squad did you say your in?' she grinned, a little more interested in the woman sat across from her now. It was a welcomed distraction from the annoyance, but from what she'd seen of Kaya so far, she rated her fairly highly, especially if she could think a Captain would attack her, and only plan her reaction calmly.

Kaiyo finished her apple calmly, flinging it back on to the table with a gracious nod; it was quite delicious. 'Okay, so 12th squad screw up and my meeting gets ruined...Of course' she mumbled angrily; there it was again, her child-like mentality. Stroppy one minute and happy the next, thankfully, Kaiyo got away with these moods of hers because they were usually short lived. It was well known that the 11th division weren't so keen on the 12th, especially when they always tried to steal her squad members for their damn experiments- so Kaiyo could appreciate a Captains responsibility to help out. She'd probe around to appease her curiosity on the matter further, but later.

PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeSun Jun 30, 2013 6:37 am

Kaya raised an eyebrow, confussed as to how she had been found out, as far as she knew she had been acting completly calm, though when she thought about it, a natural way of protecting one self was to raise the spritual presure, she might had done that slightly and unintentionally, but really could it had been that, which had called her out? She sighed deeply and regreted even going by her instinct in this, it was disgraceful no matter how you looked at it, atleast from her point. "Sorry... its not that I expected you would, something just told me to be on my guard..." its wasn't all bad, and she were't lying either, it was more of a gut feeling than a logic thought, logicly even a captain would be deemed as a traitor for attacking a noble house without prober cause, and missing an appointment was not prober cause.

She slowly moved forward, letting her delicate fingers gracefully take her cup of tea, bringing it back so she could sit more comfterbelly, and with that she softly blew alittle onto it, letting it cool off slightly before taking a prober sip. Her eyes darted though as the next question came up, surely her situation wasn't standard procedure so it was common to think that she had allready been placed in a division. After she finnished her sip she smled softly, and faced Kaiyo. "As of right now.. none" she held a brief pause to put the cup back down. "Not that I don't want one, it has just been rather hectic here... so my division trails has been postponed... that and I hardly know much about each division, my time in the academy was short to say the least, so I only know the basics, not a first hand impresion" She smiled softly, hoping that answer would suffice for an explanation, ofcourse she might have forgotten something.

Kaya couldn't help but chuckle mildly over this predicament, surely it was neithers fault but seemed it had hit them both, thruthfully, she should proberly be more worried about the situation, though as far as she has known no battle had been to hard for her brother so it was rather doubtfull 12th division could have created something he couldn't match, ofcourse, the worry she had was more onto his division member, whch was most likely also why the task wasn't done yet. "Yes it certainly seemes so, though perhaps he'll come around alittle later... I don't know how long it would take, all I know is that he said he might run alittle late due to these things..." Kaya tlted her head slightly, her mind starting to drift into wondering, she had read about the happenings in the soul society afterall, but this was the first time she could put a face to the woman who had survived death twice. She knew that only one of the times were actually real, but it still sound cool to her to have it put like that. "I take it this isn't the first time 12th dvision causes trouble?" She spoke wth a clear voice, knowing that it was a sore topic to bring up, thought a feeling also told her she wasn't exactly wrong.

Kaiyo's eyes betrayed her smile for just a moment, splitting wide open when Kaya apologised; she hadn't wanted an apology, nor did she think one was needed. She jerked back half an inch, waving her hands out at Kaya as she replied, 'What? No don't be sorry, it's impressive' she smiled freely, speaking in a casual tone. Kaiyo blew up at her hair, trying very hard for a few moment to move a rogue strand of hair that had fallen out of place. She conceded to her loss and ruffled it back in to place with her hand. Kaiyo nodded along silently to Kaya's explanation, her mouth twitching to form a smile as she wondered if it would be 'improper' to ask how good the girl was at fighting. If she'd only spent a short amount of time in the Academy, and of course Noble families had a much more rigorous training program...her eyes glazed over as she thought about it more and more. Flickering around Kaya's frame, with a more conscious intent.

She snapped back to reality when the woman spoke again, settling quickly back in to her soft smile as she leant forwards for her green tea. 'Maybe later' she confirmed, lifting her ever engaging eyes as she curled her finger around the now rather large seeming cup: curse her small hands. The heat of the drink only even registered to the Captain when she'd sat back on the sofa, her eyes slowly hollowed as they flickered between kaya's easy grasp of her drink and her certainty that she was bin fact sat calmly receiving first degree burns. Kaiyo half brought the cup to her lips, allowing the trails of steam to brush against her face before she thought that what burnt her hand, might also burn her mouth. She looked back up to Kaya. 'Tch, it's the 12th squad, I think that's all they do, and they steal my training grounds, well, try to' she smirked back as casually as she could whilst still holding the burning cup.

In her haste to place it back on the table, she missed, instead smashing it against the rim. Kaiyo jumped to her feet, avoiding the burnt drink as sheb managed to catch a few shard of broken cup; her cheeks flushed as red as her hand as she placed the broken pieces back on the table. She sank in to her shoulder slightly, red faced and caught red handed. 'Heh, sorry...I'll clean it up' she affirmed politely, turning around the room to find a cloth of some kind.

Damn nobles making her nervous and acting all calm whilst she burns her hand. Of course she blamed only herself, but this kind of clumsiness happened a lot to Kaiyo. Her hand had barely slid open the door before the tea woman entered to clean up the mess. Kaiyo stepped aside to let her in, unable t think she'd been eaves-dropping to have responded so quickly. She stood, a little more awkward than before and waited for the woman to finish. Her hand gestured across to Kaya, 'How good are you in combat?' she smiled, everything about her remained casual at this point. Stood up, one leg bent to slouch her weight, and her left hand tracing around the guard of her zanpakuto. She was paying more attention now though, a well trained expression that seemed to harmless, but Kaiyo was keen to find out the real response, so she was ready to have to look a little closer.

She considered just trying a surprise spar, but they never ended as friendly as she hoped for. It was times like this that Kaiyo needed Shiku, he was always a bit more tactful with such matters. In fact, she thought Kaya and Shiku would make quite a cute couple as well, but that thought she would not be sharing.

How noble of you (Kaya) Empty
PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeSun Jun 30, 2013 10:09 am

Kaya was left confussed for a moment, not really sure how to respond or exactly why she was beng complimented in the first place. She shaked her head lightly snapping back to reality. "Impresive.. why?" She had a facial expression that screamed puzzled, ot that it mattered she just didn't like not understanding something at all, especially not when it came to manners and such, ofcourse a captain of any kind would most likely treat her differendly than most would, which was definetly something she could use.

She could easily spot the captains disconfort over the heat, not really sure why, but Kaya had been handling tea ever since she was little, the heat just didn't bother her that much. Though it never had, and that was proberly for some other reason entirely. She was left puzzled yet again as Kaiyo seemed to dismiss a thought, not that it was in her right palce to even ask about what it was, it left her currious none the less. But her mind soon came to other thoughts, even though she was there to sut the needs of the captain her own notes was being made, she had a decision to make after all, division choosing so any info she caught up these days she put alot of weight to, so far the least possible was ofcourse 12th division, not that these timely disruptions had caused any of it, she just didn't like the ideas of conducting experiments of the kind that division was so proud of, it wasn't within her nature. It surpirced her though, to hear the 12th division was trying to over take the this womans division grounds, a poor thing to do in her oppinion, aparently it wasn't something Kaiyo was so keen on either. "Ah I see... Thats a rather odd way to go about things..." She knew alittle bit about the procedures ofcourse, a petition for extra space was a long and dreadful procudure, ofcourse it could be speed up should you allready have a place that is for takers 12th aparently beleived they could move thigns along quicker that way.

Kaya was quick to bite her lip, calming her sudden urge to a mild chuckle, hot tea really was no laughing matter, it burned like hell. luckily Kaya could easily contain herself to a soft smile hoping Kaiyo was too busy with the tea to even notice the slight moment of her biting her lip. "don't worry about it... things happen" She spoke calmly knowing that the sound of something breaking would have a person here soon enough. And as if timed by seconds a person showed up wthin a moments pause, Kaya easily picked up that Kaiyo didn't associate with nobles so oftenly, most guests knew that in these situations they could just sit calmly back."Thank you... But ust let her handle it, and relax" She knew she atleast had to thank Kaiyo for trying, it was as much as a thank you to her attempt and a thank you, for living up Kaya's day, it was very rare to see someone act like this, atleast for her.

The topic quickly shifted by Kaiyo's will alone, and the thoughts romaed around within her head a for a brief moment while speaking alittle too soon. "My combat abilities..?" She paused for a breif moment while pondering, then it all came to herself, Kaiyo was afterall 11th division captain, it was like the mention of combat like that quickly snapped within her, as she remembered 11th was Soul Society's main military force. So by that estimate it was proberly sure this was how Kaiyo measured a person by their combat abilities, surely it wasn't something Kaya was embaressed about, it was just not something she put alot of thought to truthfully. "Well uhm... I can only speak from experience, and well that so far has just been the academy" She fidgets mildly, taing a deep breath to calm herself, feeling quite nervours, not even sure how to explain her abilities. "Icompared to the Academy I am briliant, compared to my teachers here I'm above average... and I know that hollow encounters are no where near somethng you can mentally prepair yourself for..." she shivered lightly, just remembering that horrid day was a hard thing to do, happy it was over with and well another person was added to the maggots nest. Kaya snapped back, watching Kaiyo carefully, it seemed the tension within her body had changed, but to what?

She shrugged her head to one side, allowing a coy smile to play on her lips. 'Because most people would be too scared too think like that' Her eyes made direct contact with Kaya's, piercing her gaze knowingly. It was true as well, fear was the largest limiter to peoples potential she'd come across; crippling in some cases, especially when the person was unaware of it. A twinge of worry hit the back of Kaiyo's mind, hidden from visible view but skirting the edge of thought. She blinked it away, she could do without such doubts right now. Death had been following her recently, and she couldn't help but worry on the matter she'd been trying desperately to avoid.

Her thumb etched around the grand lion etched into the guard of her Zanpakuto. She shrugged once more, she didn't understand why it was odd to steal training grounds; her squad had the most (naturally) so people were always trying to just sneak in. Her main annoyance lay in the 12th squad using it for damn experiments; just because the walls are practically unbreakable, it was just rude. She sighed heavily as she remembered the last time she'd walked in on them using it, some damn smoke has her eyes burning for weeks. '12th squad are odd' she retorted grumpily.

The muscles in her neck visibly tensed when Kaya told her to just relax. Her shoulders stiffened as she shuffled back to her seat. Her small frame sinking in the chair as she bounced up to get comfy. Her hand swayed up to her hair, brushing her fingertips along the brilliant blue flower she kept there. Hado had given it to her, she'd probably have to pin it to her obi sash actually. It was an odd entity itself, because it seemed damn near impossible to even mark, but every now and then, she could feel the man's energy swaying from it's sky petals. Relax, she commanded herself, finally sinking her shoulders.

The corner of her pink lips twitched in to a light smile. Kaiyo was on the verge of just attacking the girl to see how good she really was, but her better judgement was forcing her back into her seat, despite her muscles aching to move, ready to snap in to action. She was always ready though. She nodded back at Kaya, catching her last reaction as her words trailed off. Curiosity stretched across her expression as she watched the girl in silence for a moment. This girl was definitely one of the better nobles she'd come across, but kaiyo had experienced them differently as she'd gained higher ranks within the Gotei 13. The difference she'd often been stuck on was that nobles demanded respect, most people could command it. Of course, Kaya still seemed to have her own secrets, but who doesn't.

'Well if you're stuck on a squad to join, you're welcome to try out mine' she flashed her signature smile, warm and innocent as ever. It settled quickly back to her more serene expression, her lips naturally curling to look as if she were smiling all the time though. 'Anyway', she began. She bounced forwards in the large chair once more, moving to sit on the edge so her feet would actually touch the ground. She clasped her small hands in eachother in her lap. 'Just tell your brother on the escort that i'll be sending four, three man teams who's surround the carriage in transit, and he can be in charge of the closer protection, probably take two  in the carriage for each door and closer guards around'. She scratched the back of her head lightly as she titled her gaze to the top of the room in thought. It was a high profile mission, which is why she was sending so many men, but she doubted they'd have any trouble really, usually the escorts were just for show. 'Maybe have a few guy stationed en-route as well, like checkpoints to call in for where they are at all times' she shrugged, drumming her hands along her knees as she finally returned her gaze to Kaya. It was simple enough, and she doubted there'd be too many objections.

Her hands moved up to her face, dragged them along her cheeks as the blood quickly flushed back to her face. Work was so boring. In a flash, Kaiyo was standing behind Kaya, leaning over her shoulder with a grin. 'D'ya have a garden we can talk in? Being inside makes me feel all caged' Without really waiting for an answer, Kaiyo leapt over the back of Kaya's chair, spinning around to grab the girl's hand and lead her to the doorway.

How noble of you (Kaya) Empty
PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeMon Jul 01, 2013 9:12 am

Kaya raised an eyebrow, a soft chuckle and a scratch behind her head in a slight embaressment, she wasn't used to be spoken fondly about, not even the slightest, s far as she knew she might aswell just go die in training to catch up to her brother, truely dreadful, thats the reason she ain't currently in her brothers division, she didn't want to be under his care, she wanted to progress on her own. "Ahh I see.. well its safe to say I'm not scared of such things... Fear is an option after all..." She took a deep breath, it was one of the main things she had been taught to meditate on. Her Family the Ryukyu has a great lineage in the real world before drifting to the afterlife. They had been brutal warriors of Japan, fighting for true peace. And it was those teachings this family still lived upon.

She quickly snapped out of it, it wasn't something to dwell upon while there was guests, it was her own training afterall, secret nature of her family, she shouldn't go about it so freely. She didn't fear Kaiyo to abuse it even if she was taught, Kaiyo seemed to be at a point, where even if taught she'd continue training as she has all along. "Odd sounds about right... But in many ways neccesary too I imagine?" Kaya knew that no squad was there without a purpose to them, and 12th was definetly one of the divisions with a clear intension to its purpose. while it had it odd quiants it must have some good too.

Kaya smiled softly as it seemed Kaiyo was finally settling in, to a more comfy state, luckily afterall, she shouldn't feel at presure here. She was a guest afterall. And thereby should be treatest with outmost respect. It was unlike most noble families to act and such, most truely did thnk themselves higher than the guest. But then again, no other noble house would adobt a stranger and call him their own just to save his life. Kaya had always wondered why her father did it, but she had always been told that someday she'd understand, like so many odd things she had asked about. She had just decided it must be something she had to be told when she came of prober age.

She went lost within her own line of thought, that before she knew it she could easily spot a hitn of a smile on Kaiyo, uncertain just what it was exactly she dismissed the thought and leant forward picking a few grapes easily eating the first of three. She blinked lightly noticing the flower, Kaiyo seemed to hold it quite dear to her, it was a pretty one ofcourse, though Kaya easily came to the conclusion it proberly was more than just a simply accessory. "Its a very beautiful flower" She simply complimented, knowing it wasn't in her right to pry, though she'd still compliment it incase Kaiyo had noticed she was looking.

Kaya blinked gently, chuckling softly, this was afterall the 3rd squad invitation she had gotten. And well the least formal one, whch truthfully Kaya liked alot. even if she was a noble, formalities really could get too much to her. But she was also around formalities 24/7 "Thank you, I'm not certain I'd be worth your time... but I'll atleast consider it" She smiled softly, and happily. This was the first invitation she had gotten after meeting the captain afterall. She blinked quickly, noting the change of topic. "hold on..." She deftly opened up a drawer in the table pulling out a note pad instantly starting to note down Kaiyo's suggestions. "Yes... My suggestions would be to ask 4th dvision for perhaps two medics incase of someone getting severely injurred..." She blinked quickly and looked up, wishing she had bte her tongue. "Excuse me, you have most likely allready taken precautions like that, I'll tell my brother" She smiled hoping she haven't offended Kaiyo. She ddn't know what kind of mission it was, so the medics might not even be neccesary.

She finnished up writting down everything, proof reading it making sure she haven't forgotten anything. Not that she doubted her memory, she just didn't want to take the chance. Afterall this wasn't something she was prepaired to take responsebility for, it was people's lives. "Uhm what..?" She looked up, noticing the missing of the captain on the couch, but it didn't take long, afterall the voice came from behind. She gulped lightly as she was allready on the move, wripping the notes of the pad leaving the rest behind placing the paer away within her pockets. "Yes right down there" She pointed down to a door which would leave to a hallway then out to their gardens, big and beautifully crafted ofcourse, Kaya was still amazed, the speed Kaiyo possessed was amazing, far beyond her own, then again, she was a captain afterall.

She let a hand pass through her hair once, picking up the speed so she could lead Kaiyo proberly, through the hall and outdoors. As the door opened to the gardens the sound of running waters instantly filled your ears aswell as the common clonk sound of bamboo hitting stone as then water spilled from the strange device picked up from the world of the living. The smell of flowers was easily caught as the Sakura's tree gave off their scent. "here we are, hope it suits your needs" Polite as ever, walking a bit outside of the door, if Kaiyo would let her that is.

How noble of you (Kaya) Empty
PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeTue Jul 02, 2013 9:43 am

A smile slowly sprawled across Kaiyo's lips, a short laugh bursting out from her belly as she smiled across the table to the shinigami; scribbling down on her notepad. Of course having healers on hand was probably a good idea, but they were always just so incompetent in combat that Kaiyo would rather have them at the checkpoints. 'One in the carriage, others at checkpoints with waiting shinigami' she agreed. The animosity between the 4th division and her own was unfortunately as true as the rumours; despite kaiyo's strict warnings. It was just difficult for a squad who prided themselves on battle prowess to be paired with shinigami who more often than not would just run away. She sighed lightly to herself, she had a meeting with the 4th division Captain later to apologise to him. Even worse, the apology was for her own actions and not those of her squad members. That was a circus she'd rather not repeat.

Fear is an option, it rang through Kaiyo's mind like a distant echo. She glanced over her shoulder to Kaya curiously, there was definitely something more to this girl. Of course it was true, fear it only created in our minds; but that doesn't stop it crippling people. She walked slowly across the grass, stretched out her arms as the soft air brushed against her skin. The short girl smiled up to the skies, welcoming the warmth that flushed heat across her face. She exhaled slowly. This was bliss. The Captain tread slowly to the water, relishing the sounds of the garden as she leant down beside the stream-thing, plucking a sakura petal from the glistening pool as she stood and blew it from her palm.

She nodded across to Kaya. 'Nice garden, you should come see the 11th squad one some time' she smiled, leaping gracefully back towards Kaya. A rush of wind rustled against the cherry blossom as more petals flew in to her blonde hair. Kaiyo sat herself down under the tree, gesturing for kaya to come and join her. The girl shuffled her shoulders down as her haori slid to the ground behind where she lay. Untying her zanpakuto with a practised routine, she placed it gently atop her white haori; the pale blue lining shining in the sunlight. Finally a bit more comfortable, she shuffled forwards, leaning back to face the skies as she lay happily on the grass beside the tree. Her hand moved up to rest her head as she spoke up to the scattered clouds above.

'There was a second mission as well' she began, chewing on her bottom lip lightly as she tried to vaguely remember what it was exactly. 'I think it's a real world patrol...Might have to take some 12th guys to test- stuff'. Her hakama shirt pressed against her small body as she wind swayed around the garden. 'Do you train in here sometimes?' she pondered aloud. 'With your brother?'

PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeTue Jul 02, 2013 5:39 pm

Kaya smiled softly, letting the wind blow through her hair, happy that she had started wearing a ponytail. her hair had grown far too long not too, especially now that she had started doing combat, more so than just a tutor spar. Even so she still had trobles with it from time to time, hair was an easy to use way of making an opponent submit, it hurt like hell afterall.

She turned around, facing Kaiyo her smile where softer now, more relaxed, the garden usually did that too her, proberly cause most of her time were spent here. She figured if it weren't for the hours spent sleepig in her room, it definetly would be the place she had spent the most of her time at. Kaya watched Kaiyo closely, she was proud of the garden, it wasn't her work but her touch was here and there. in planning that it, not a work of her own put to it. Not that she didn't want to, she just wasn't allowed to, more important matters where there to be at her attention.

Kaya couldn't help but chuckle mildly though, it seemed she had allready found this womans soft spot. Well one of them perhaps, gardens. It was pretty obvious if she thought about it really, when you invite someone to see something you must take some pride in it. The first invitation was to join her division, which by all common sense Kaiyo should take some pride in. And if Kaya was right the garden was somethng either Kaiyo had taken care of herself or atleast taken responsebility over. And therefor must take some pride in. "I take it you like gardens?" She qustioned wanting to find out just a bit more about this guest, if should could.

She then moved over to join Kaiyo, and as she made herself comtferble she thought she might to it aswell, though Kaya could most likely never be as good at relaxing as this captain it seemed, she was just to stiff, she gently swept off her first Zan, then letting the one on her back slip down into her hands aswell. Then she took a seat up against the tree, casually placing the two Zanpakuto's on her lap.

Kaya's ears almost peeked up, as another mission was being mentioned. She listened carefully, then couldn't help but find it ironic in the end, though in another way it should work just fine. "Well that should work out fine right... they kinda owe my brother now or something..." She said, whle really not knowing a single thing about how coorperation between the divisions fully worked.

Kaya couldn't hold back a a rather unpleasant look on her face, she knew she had to speak politely about her brother, it was just hard in the end, when she didn't think very fondly off him, it was true that he was the reason she had become a Shinigami. It was what everyone was being told whenever she was asked what she thought of her brother, but truely, she speak sincerely. But it ain't positive, she has become a shinigami to surpass him, so that she could stop being compared and looked down upon when lining the two of them up together. "I've done all my meditation training here... never with my brother..." She sighed deeply, letting her breath soothe her inner self. "Never trained with him... not that I want to either" She closed her eyes letting her head fall back onto the tree, relaxing as she best could.

PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeTue Jul 02, 2013 5:58 pm

Kaiyo shut eyes, allowing the golden yellow light to warm her vision for a moment. She smiled, to herself really. 'I like somewhere people can be themselves' she responded casually. Of course the beauty of her own garden had never been lost on her, but she appreciated the more harsh appearance of her squad and saw it vital to include an area that forced a different perspective on them. As she'd expected, they loved the garden almost as much as she did, and she was a fierce protector of it as well. Her words held a stronger meaning as well, the girl beside her seemed less comfortable here than indoors. Kaiyo figured she was trying too hard to relax, thought she seemed to try her best t most things. A life bereft of much true freedom it seemed. She wouldn't pry on the matter too much, it just allowed her mind the vanity of perusing such thoughts.

Kaiyo angled herself on the ground so she could remain lying down whilst being able to see Kaya as well. A spark of intrigue flashed through her eyes when she mentioned Kaya's brother. She'd expected some force of sibling rivalry but her reaction seemed a bit more extreme than that. Kaiyo flopped her arm over her chest, stretching out her fingers as the blades of grass tickled her soft skin. She leant up on arm, still tracing her fingertips along the very tips of the ground. The more she spoke to kaya, the more questions she had for her.

'Meditation training' she repeated slowly, her mind ticking over what that ever meant. She assumed it was linked to Zanpakuto stuff; she'd never meditated for other reasons. Kaya seemed a bit more of the meditating type than Kaiyo though. She inhaled slowly, filling her lungs as she registered her mild discomfort, she spun back on to her back as she exhaled. Speaking once more to the clouds, as if the angels might have clearer answers; with a trace of a smile lingering on her lips. 'So you're brother, you don't get along 'cuz of other people, or 'cuz of him?' Kaiyo had decided it would have to be one or the other; disputes were often clashing personalities, or born of resentment over varying treatment. Kaiyo knew she was being nosy, but she was a Captain so she decided she was allowed to be a bit more forward. That, and Kaya had genuinely piqued her interest and on such a beauteous day, she would do almost anything to avoid doing more work. Kaiyo was already being followed by the Central 46, she wasn't in the mood for further enjoyment disruptions.

PostSubject: Re: How noble of you (Kaya)   How noble of you (Kaya) I_icon_minitimeTue Jul 02, 2013 6:37 pm

Kaya let the words flow for a moment, a place where people could be themselves. To her that seemed impossible, that being said by now she wasn't even sure who she was anymore, the girl she had been, the relaxed sense of cildlike way of looking at thing. The persn she had been content on being vanished some years ago by now. By her own decesion no less, a decision to be more serious, and to be taken more seriously by others. "sounds like a nice place..." She often pondered if she had made the right decision, so far she had concluded she had, thought she missed being careless.

She raised an eyebrow, it seemed Kaiyo wasn't the sort to meditate, it felt weird to her not to meditate, it had taught her alot about the world, and how things work. "Hmm.. guess it ain't as common as I thought..." She shaked her head softly, with a mildly confident smile, she felt like she had just realised she might have an edge most people don't. "What I spoke off before was a part of it, you meditate upon the world to understand how things work... fear is an option while danger is real, letting fear overcome you leads to defeat, while ignoring fear can lead to victory" She breathed out relaxed, as if she spoke with a wisdom far off her age, which proberly in most cases where true. She then suddenly let out a mild chuckle. "That is a late understanding I've come to.. you start small, like with defining all their is in the world, breaking them down first into all earthly desires... through the meaning and understanding of all 108 it is said if you reach a point where you can achive abnormal power" She tilted her head lightly, surely this was most likely a thing that had been brought from the living world to this family through death, none the less something she thought true.

Kaya huffed lightly, going on the topic wasn't something she was fond of doing, it most common led to her loosing her cool speaking badly about him in rash and unlogicle ways, only to hide the truth. Something she really didn't admit willingly, but really this was a captain, and speaking lies about her brother, this woman's comrade was something she could not do, and her manners could not leave the topic on unanswered. "neither..." She held a brief pause to think it all through, she had to explain herself throughly for this not to be misunderstood. "Akihiko is not my actual brother, he was adopted many years ago, to well save his life..." Her eyes darted around, making sure the spots she knew was places where someone could listen in wasn't being used, happily she concluded they were truely private at the moment. "And cause of that he has always strived to do his best to repay it, through bringing honor to our house... which he clearly has achieved..." She looked down to the ground, a rather sour taste brought to her mouth, despicable to say the least. "So I guess its cause of me... He truely has nothing against me... its rather me that has something against him" She giggled a rather forced manner, trying to bring up the mood, not even sure if it had been brought down or not. he did though look up and over to Kaiyo, realizing she might have said too much, looking over to Kaiyo wanting to make sure it haven't fallen ill to her.
