Appearance:Her hair is black, having a long pony tail down her back while her hair goes down besides the face, the left side longer than the other while the right is in two bangs. She has a cute yet stern face, with crystal dark blue eyes.

Personality: Kaya is very calm and mature in almost any situation having a lot of pride. Being the only “real” child of her noble family she has been spoiled a lot. Yet it changed as she grew up, being tutored into a better example to represent her family.  She is also very curious. She will most likely freeze or tense up when her brother is brought up as a topic, while she is more friendly towards him now, she still holds some negativity around him as a subject, especially when the two of them are being compared.

Special Characteristics: She has the tutors of a noble family, while the training from child so she has more experience than most Academy students would.

Description of released form: Her swords change into a sword and shield, the swords appearance can be found below, while the shield is a Large Kite shield 4 ft and 6 inches long, 3 ft wide, with a Dragon crest having a feint light glow, as she uses her abilities the dragon fills up from below, and the more glow it has the stronger her abilities become.

Ability 1: Ikari(Wrath)/Hogokinou(Safeguard)
When active of either its a meaning of switching between offense and defense in less than a split second. It literally switches between her sword and shield being empowered. When Ikari is active, the sword receives a somewhat holy glow, of white light shimmering, even leaving a trail as it dances in the wind. The sharpness and the speed which its able to be used increases alot. When Hogokinou is active the shield receives the same glow, allowing it to be moved at a incredible speed, along with the power to withstand being increased, along with that it creates a safeguard further than the shield itself, allowing blasts hitting the shield directly to be moving besides the users body, more than it would normally.


History: Kaya was born into the noble household Ryukyu within the soul society, and while her parents had hoped for a boy it didn’t neglect them from showing her love, while she could always feel their wish for her to be a boy, by the way she was treated during training receiving what only most boys would. Of course she didn’t mind, she didn’t know better after all. So she held her peace with her way to live, while her parents wanted her to achieve more in a addition to her family she just wanted to live and standby the world and watch, that was until a fateful day, while the day to her had been rather eventless, it sure didn’t stay that way. As suddenly something had crashed down into their yard, and while she was frightened her curiosity got the best of her, so she was the first to reach the crater.

Kaya looked down into the crater, seeing a man lying there confused her, before long she was joined by the rest of her family, and within a minute about a dozen of soul reapers was there as well. They brought out their swords as the man came too, but he didn’t stay conscious for long, passed out her family stepped in, demanding the soul reapers off their house, and while they hesitated, it would seem they had gotten the idea, and withdrew, tough only just outside the place waiting for the man to leave. Kaya was ordered to take care of the man, and so she did not that he minded much at the time, she was curious after all, so this would only bring in some closure, she hoped.

Unfortunally for her, he didn’t get her way in this, as she wasn’t allowed to speak with him as he woke up, her father went in to speak with him alone. While she waited outside, tough what she came to realize made her really regret doing a good job treating his body, furiously she went to her room, as she had found out he had been asked to become a member of the family, furthermore head if he proves himself worthy.  Little did she know that she was able to do the same, though she had never thought she would ever have to fight for it, and so a rivalry was started.  

In the beginning Kaya didn’t really pay much attention to Akihiko her new brother, she mostly despised him, tough he tried to be friendly towards her, she clearly didn’t want him there. While Akihiko found his way to move forward, her hatred mostly kept her in place, while still receiving training of course. It wasn’t long before Akihiko had reached a seated rank in one of the Soul Reaper divisions, and that set her in motion, she didn’t want to simply be left behind, just because it would seem Akihiko was the new prodigy soul reaper around, with his extremely quick understanding of the Zanpakuto. So she started taking the preliminary test to join, but before she could even join the academy, he had reached captain, cursing  she worked harder, and as a reward she received her Asauchi, it for her it only took a week or so for it to bond with her spirit, she wasn’t a mere soul here after all, she was a noblewoman, having spent ages training already, and she was so proud when she had found her Asauchi dividing into two, being one of the few to have two Zanpakuto. With that little thing she found the possibility to surpass Akihiko was there. After knowing that she could finally loosen up, both around her family and around Akihiko showing him some friendship, after all he was her brother.
