Targeting the Captain IV (Drac)

Drac switched his zanpakuto to its back side, even though he didn't know whether or not this bandits committed heinous crimes or not he had a strong sense of justice and the killing of such bandits would go against that. Drac rushed toward a nearby bandit, the bandits swung his sword vertically at Drac's head, Drac stepped quickly to the left and swung his zanpakuto vertically at the bandits knuckles causing the bandit to drop his sword to ground then he jabbed the hilt of his zanpakuto into the bandit's throat. The bandit dropped to his knee's grasping for air as his hands covered the inflicted area of his throat, Drac notice the other bandits rushing to toward him to aid their fallen brother. Two of them closed in on Drac, one swung vertical aimed at Drac's left shoulder while the other swung horizontally at his rib cage. Drac let his left hand go of his zanpakuto and, with his gauntlets still on his hand, caught the blade aimed for his shoulder and blocked the horizontally swing with his zanpakuto. "Hmmm....You guys swung in unison...impressive, and by the sword technique I take it that that rogue shinigami taught you guys a thing or two. However...." Drac gripped the blade in his left hand tightly and apply so much pressure that the blade snapped in two. "It won't be enough to stop us."

Drac pushed the bandit, that swung at him horizontally, back with his zanpakuto and then swung a haymaker with his left hand at the bandit, with the broken sword, temple and knock him out unconscious. The other bandit rushed toward Drac and swung horizontally at his head again, Drac ducked underneth his swing and sent a strong jab to the bandit's stomach and then uppercut him with his left hand. Drac looked back toward Arawn and notice a few bandits toward him and decided to go help him out. As some of the bandits were preoccupied by Arawn, Drac rushed the others from behind and horizontally swing across both bandit head's knocking both unconscious. Drac looked at Arawn and smiled "Looked like you could use some help."

Arawn missed Gaberil's words as he avoided a thrust of a blade seconds later. As he shifted his himself left to avoid the attack of the sword wielding man, other attacked. The twin daggers came low forcing him backwards into the wall. With the second attack done the first attacker pressed forward again. A simple tag-team effort, but an effective one. The element of surprise gone, Arawn should have figured a more structured counter attack. Once more the short blade came swinging in. Clumsy, but in dodging he opens him self up to the second's attacker. He raised his sheath to catch the blade before it could finish it's decent upon. Arawn's right hand held his sheathed weapon in front of his face. The bandit gave a wide grin as he pushed on the sword. Arawn pushed back keeping the man at bay. As this tug of war went on, the second man charged forward. The shinigami's left hand rose and pointed at the other's man chest. His spiritual pressure flared.
"Hado#1: Shō." Arawn spoke and a look of surprise was on the man's face as an invisible force impacted against him and knocked him off his feet. Backwards he flew past this rushing companion. The other man stopped to look at his airborne friend.

So had opened a window of opportunity, one that was quickly exploited. He closed the distance and launched a round house at the man's head. His aim was off and he nailed the man on the shoulder. Upon being hit he shook off his shock and swung his blade at the shinigami. The first swipe was wide, but the second one was closer to actually cutting him. Rather than block the blade he blocked the arm. Arawn's foot came straight up and into the man's chin. The man's head jerked backward and he let out a grunt. With a shrill cry his head snapped back down and his eyes locked the shingiami. Blood trickled from his mouth. Had he bit his tongue? He swung his other arm again, but this time Arawn ducked. As he rose he brought the metal sheath slamming against the man's ribs. The man doubled over in pain and did not get up. Arawn looked over to the man he had used the spell on. There was a break in the wall from where he had hit. Below that dent the man lay quite unconscious.

Something warm and wet was falling down his cheek. Arawn touched the line of blood before it reached his chin. He sighed. It wasn't fair that he was using non-lethal force when they were trying to kill him. Right on cue the next bandit had arrived to try his luck. He didn't learn anything from his brethren, and gave a cry as he ran at him. Arawn sidestepped as the first punch came at him from the left and the right. As the man reared back for a haymaker, Arawn's foot came up right between the man's legs. The man gave a whimper and his face contorted. His punch forgotten as he clutched his crotch. Crass, but effective. Arawn pulled back his hand and rammed his fist right in the man's unprotected face. The man fell while still grabbing his groin. All around them the bandits lay on the ground. Wounded and hurting, but no deaths. Arawn grinned.
"I'm going to check the caves." he said and went back down the tunnel. Seconds later he exited the passage into the cavern. He gazed upon the stalactites in the room as he neared the center of the chamber. As he neared the still burning cooking fire, he stopped. There was a figure sitting next to the blaze.
"Hey." said the man as he stirred the pot in front of him. "Took you awhile to finish those guys off. You must be pretty weak." the man said as he looked up from cooking. He tapped the wooden spoon on the edge. His brown eyes locked on Arawn's. Sitting down he was barely a few inches shorter than the shinigami. On the man's hip a sword handle wobbled as the moved his hands. Arawn had tucked his sword back into his belt. His hand came to rest on the zanpukto's hilt. He was sure he hadn't seen the man sitting there when he entered the room. Had the rock formations hidden him? That aside why hadn't he followed the rest of the bandits out of the cavern? The only reason for him to be there was that he was a member of their group.
"Surrender." Arawn said as the man went back to stirring. The man paused and stroked his goatee as if in deep thought. The gold rings on his fingers gleamed in the firelight.
"Nah." he said flatly. Arawn could only stare speechless as the man pushed his spoon through the stew and brought the scoop to his mouth to taste. Arawn moved forward and in a fluid motion freed his sheathe from the belt. He raised his weapon high over his head and brought it down directly on the man's head. The weapon connected, but the man continued to slurp the food noisily.
"Hmmmm." the man said not even looking up. "Needs salt." Something was definitely wrong. He had put alot of force into the swing. The sheath rested on his black hair like a hat. The man showed not the slightest bit of discomfort. Pulling back the weapon he swung at the side of the man's head. The metal stopped short of it's target, the man held it at bay with his own sword. Arawn hadn't seen him pull the weapon, but jumped back now that the blade was drawn. "Yes, salt." the man muttered oblivious to Arawn's attacks.

Arawn didn't response to the Drac's comment for he was clearly busy fighting some left over bandits, suddenly Drac heard footsteps coming up from behind him. More bandits were heading toward him after hearing the commotion made by Drac and Arawn. Drac let out a sigh before turning around and facing the direction from which the bandits are coming from. "Looks like I still got some work to do." Drac began sheathe his sword and ran toward the other bandits. "Hey....you hear something? Somethings coming." said a bandits with a gold tooth and a goatee, he and four others stop in their tracks they couldn't see Drac running towards them only hear his footsteps coming towards them. As Drac was rushing towards the other, he heard the screaming of someone coming from behind him. He quickly turned his head and saw a bandit that Arawn sent flying pass by him in the direction of the others. Heh, I see he's skilled with kido at least. The bandits stood their motionless listening to the footsteps of Drac "This noise something else is coming......WHAT THE-" said the gold tooth bandit. Suddenly the bandit sent flying by Arawn ran slam into the other bandits and knocking him and two others to the ground.

"WHAT THE HELL, WHO DID THIS TO YOU." spoke the bandit with the gold tooth as soon as he spoke Drac appeared out of the darkness. "AHH....A SHINIGAM-" as the gold tooth bandit spoke, Drac kneed him in the mouth knocking the gold tooth loose and him unconscious then rushing the others. Before the other two could get up off the ground Drac cocked back both his fist and deliver two uppercuts to their chin, one bit he's tongue badly and was bleeding from the mouth, other had a dislocated jaw and went unconscious quickly. Drac didn't stop and continue advancing forward toward the other two however they pulled out their blades, one swung horizontally aimed for Drac's ribs. Drac caught the blade with one hand and sent a strong jab to the bandits trachea, he drop to ground wheezing for air, then kneed him in the face knocking him unconscious. The other swung his sword vertically, aimed for his head, Drac easily dodge it and sent a haymaker to his right temple then a strong jab to his jaw. The bandit dropped quickly to ground and laid there motionless.

"Guess that takes care of them." Drac rushed back to where Arawn was but he was gone. He began searching for his reiatsu in this maze of tunnels, he quickly found him and rushed in the direction of where he was. A minute passed and Drac rushed into open chamber in the caves to find Arawn fighting with a mysterious stranger in black cloak. "Looks like you started the party with out me." Drac looked dead at the stranger with a stern look. Better play it safe and get an feel of how strong he is. Drac rushed toward the stranger "Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat! Bakudo 9:Horin!" Suddenly a orange tendril formed in Drac's left hand and shot out toward the stranger, with his right hand Drac unsheathe his sword this time with the blade edge facing down, he prepare for a horizontally swing toward his ribs if he's ensnared by the tendril.

For several seconds Arawn stood there examining his opponent. Something was definitely wrong. Twice now he had attacked the man both with little to no effect. He wondered why the second strike had gotten guarded unlike first one. His eyes looked at the smooth metal sheath that he held before him. Just moments ago he had used it to knock the bandits around. Nothing had changed in the last few minutes to change it's effectiveness. He couldn't understand it, but a part of him knew the answer. The only reason for the man to do such a thing was to shake Arawn. It was successful to say the least. Now the red haired shinigami stood at a distance trying to figure what matter of creature the man was. At the same time he was trying to formulate a point of attack. It was then that Gabriel burst into the chamber. The larger man took only a second to lock on target and launched his own attack upon the strange man. From his left hand he had already fired a kido while his other hand drew his zanpukto to strike. Arawn was about to join in the attack when he noted the man's reaction. The sitting man and turned to look as Gabriel entered the room. He raised spoon in his hand. As the glowing tendril approached him he batted it aside like fly. The next second he was standing next to the Gabriel.

"We'll aren't you a big one." the man commented. Now that the man was standing he could see that he wasn't that much taller than Arawn. But size wasn't everything. The fact he had knocked the incoming kido away was hint that this man wasn't to be trifled with. The man still clutched the spoon as he stood by Gabriel, but Arawn recalled how quickly he had drawn his weapon seconds ago. With a yank he pulled his zanpukto free and shunpo'd across the room. The next second he was swinging his blade level with the man's shoulder. He didn't like the use of force, but this situation required more than the feather touch. His worry was negated as the man's forearm easily intercepted his attack. The naked blade rested against his skin. Arawn's eyes bulged in their sockets; not a speck of blood.
"Wait your turn." The man said as he kicked him squarely in the chest. Arawn was knocked backward. He rolled and bounced to a stop a good twenty feet away. Looking up groaning. As shocking as the failed attack was, it was something else he had truly frightened him. In the moment of contact he had felt the reiryoku of their opponent. "After what you did to my gang, I can't let you guys off easy." His spoon clutched hand swung out at Gabriel. The backhand was aimed squarely at the other man's face despite the difference in height. Bruised, but not broken, Arawn hopped to his feet. He gritted his teeth and rose his reiatsu. Arawn hoped Gabriel could hold his own for moment.
"Drift, Huang Long." he spoke as flipped his weapon over his hand. It took only an instant for his weapon to transform and for him to catch it once more. He felt his spiritual power surge as his fingers wrapped around the handle. Good.
"The pillar of heaven falls, damn thy fate. Crush the wicked. Hado #17: Smite!" The purple block took shape and launched itself at the man's back at the current angle it would only hit the man and Gabriel. But if it things were anything like before he'd only block it. Arawn shunpo'd again taking him to the man's left side. The man was making the motion to now punch Gabriel with his right hand. Clutching his golden kurkri blade he attacked the man's legs. The area around his blade began to shimmer as the energy began to build inside of it. The man's attention shifted from the target before him. Perfect. Gabriel from the front, Arawn from the left, and the kido from the right. They had him surrounded.

Drac watched as his the glowing tendril flew towards the mysterious man, Drac thought that if he could bind the man's arms he and arawn would have the advantage and take this man down, but quickly that thought diminished as the man batted the tendril down to the ground. Drac couldn't believe the man knocked his kido away with so much ease that he didn't even move from his original position, he knew right then and there that this mysterious man was much stronger than he looks. Suddenly the man disappeared from his view Drac couldn't believe had fast he moved What the.......was that Shunpo!? I never seen someone that use that ability move that fast. "Well aren't you a big one." said the mysterious man standing right next to Drac. Drac looked at the man standing next to him with the look of shock and he had ever right to be because he didn't sense him till he had spoke to him, now something had overcome him a feeling that he hadn't experience in a long time and it was fear. Drac stood there motionless still looking at the man until suddenly he notice Arawn rushing toward the man with his sword drawn and already in mid swing.

Drac watched in surprise as Arawn's attack had no affect on the man not a speck of blood was present as the blade rested against the man's forearm. "Wait your turn." Drac watched as the man kicked Arawn square in the chest and knocked him back about twenty feet, Suddenly Drac sensed the man's immense reiryoku just stand next to him made him break into a sweat. "After what you did to my gang, I can't let you guys off easy." Drac quickly notice that the man swinging the spoon toward him. He quickly jumped away from the man, suddenly Drac felt a huge spirtual pressure behind him coming from Arawn. So this is......his true power. Drac stood in awe as Arawn raised his reiastu. "Drift, Huang Long." Drac notice Arawn's zanpakuto drastic transformation and as it did Arawn's reiatsu rose even higher. Even before then Drac knew that he nowhere as powerful as the both of them, he even began to wonder if he would even be helpful.

The man rushed toward Drac to punch him with his right hand, Drac quickly dodged it and made a horizontal swing toward the man's right shoulder.

The man didn't dodge nor did he flinch as all the attacks connected near simultaneously. Arawn's blade collided with the man's leg. The zanpukto's golden edge lashed through the material and down to the skin below, but there was no blood. Huang Long was simply pressed against the man's leg. Arawn tried to push, but his weapon wouldn't move an inch. Instead he pulled his sword away and looked upon his foe. The purple kido block that had struck him from the opposite side stood frozen. In the past Arawn had used the very same spell to send a hollow flying or smash through the wall of a building. He had thought least smash through a wall. As he looked upon the scene flabbergasted he noted that the kido shake as it attempted to press forward. It continued it's struggle for seconds until it flickered then faded away. After seeing what he did to Gabriel's spell he had hoped that his own empowered kido would have had some effect. The small chill had snaked it's way through Arawn. The possibility of their surviving this encounter was dwindling by the second.

Gabriel's fist connected with man's shoulder. It was like punching a warship. When his hand struck the man he could feel a surge of spiritual power that dwarfed the burst that Arawn had given off seconds ago. But then that reiatsu faded as the contact ended. The man had taken a small step back. He raised and lowered the leg that Huang Long had struck. He gazed down at it. For several seconds this action was repeated then he stopped.
"That's an interesting trick you have there." he said with a grin dropping the spoon from his hand. The wooden ladle echoed against the stone floor. His now drew his own weapon from his sheath. "Sing, Tenrai." Arawn's heart sank when he heard those words. His eyes locked on the other man's weapon. For a second the only sound he could hear was his own heartbeat in his chest. In the silence he noticed nothing had changed with the man's weapon. Even as he released a sigh of relief the man had pointed his weapon at him. The next second something had slammed into his shoulder and sent him spinning to the ground. A trail of blood fluttered from the hole in his arm.

Drac stood there stunned as not only his attack had no affect but also did Arawn's attacks. Drac watched as Arawn's golden zanpakuto and purple kido connected and yet none did no damage other than tear at the man's clothing. Drac watched as Arawn jumped back and the purple kido faded away, suddenly pain began to flow through Drac's fist as though he hade just hit a metal wall. Drac jumped back away from the opponent, his hand trembling a little from the pain, as the man's spiritual power flowed throughout the room. What the hell is his skin made out of steel.......Not only does our attack don't have any affect on him, his spiritual power trumps ours together. If we don't come up with a plan soon....shit going to hit the fan. Drac watched as the mysterious man began to raise and lower his leg that was struck by Arawn's zanpakuto and kept doing that same pattern for a few seconds. Wait a second......there still might be a chance

"That's an interesting trick you have there. Sing, Tenrai" Suddenly the man drew his weapon against Arawn. Suddenly something hit Arawn dead in the arm with enough force that it put a hole in his arm. Drac rushed toward Arawn quickly and torn a piece of his robes off and applied pressure to the wound to stop the bleeding while wrapping it. "Arawn, I have an idea. You made him raise and lower his leg which mean your attack had some affect on him, I want you to attack him in the same spot again. I'll act as decoy and give you and opening to strike." Drac looked at the mysterious man with a grin on his face "Hey asshole, I believe you said I was your opponent." Drac raise his spiritual power so much that an aura swirled around him. "Bakudo#5: Senko Suddenly a bright light illuminated the cave, it was so bright that blinded anyone that saw it except Drac.

Drac took this chance to get right behind the mysterious man""Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and tear out your own throat! Bakudo#9: Horin!" Suddenly a red light engulfed the man, and paralyzed his body. "This is your chance Arawn." As Drac said that he to rushed toward the man and made and horizontal slash with his sword at the man's ribs.

No matter how many times he replayed the scent through his head, Arawn could no see what had struck him. At first he had thought the man had been bluffing. Calling out to his blade is if it were a zanpukto to frighten him and leave himself open for attack. But it wasn't a ruse at all. The hole in his shoulder said as much. As much as he wanted it all to be a dream the pain from said hole was enough to awaken anyone from such nightmare. It had happened so suddenly. One moment he had been standing the next he was on the ground wreathing in pain. Yes, it was very painful. Of the many things he'd experienced in battle this was by far one of the worst. By the second he could feel his lifeblood drain from his body. The hole was as large, if not larger, than a golfball. Every attempt at movement was something Arawn quickly regretted. It was becoming a night of regrets for the shinigami. For one he regretting signing up for the mission, the next being coming to the cave without backup. From the recent blow and swell of reiatsu he felt, he didn't think he and Gabriel stood a chance. The assailant was powerful, too powerful, for their current battle strength. Clutching his shoulder with his right hand he tried to consider a way for them to escape. These thoughts were interrupted by Gabriel rushing to him and caring for his wound. The larger man's hands on his shoulder were like torture as he tied cloth to the opening in his flesh. Almost instantly the makeshift bandage was soaked in blood. As he applied the wrap Gabriel quickly relayed his plan to Arawn. He wanted to be a decoy and have Arawn try to strike him again. Was he crazy!? Didn't he just see what had happened to him? His attack had done nothing to the opponent. The other man had fired an invisible shot and made a hole through his body! How was Gabriel planning to fend off something like that? Arawn was about to speak, but his voice was just a croak. How had one shot taken so much out of him? He reached to grab for Gabriel's sleeve, but the man had already gone to square off with bandit.

The man stood there waiting paiently while Gabriel dressed Arawn's wound. He gave a smile as the taller man now turned to face him.
"Finally ready then?" he asked as he propped his weapon against his shoulder. The man scratched his his neck and yawned. "I don't like to be kept waiting. I hope you can make it up to me." It would seem Gabriel planned to do just that as he raised his spiritual power. To this the man grinned broadly. The next second he was blinded by the flash of light from the shinigami's kido. "Nice idea blinding me, but I can still sense where you are." he said calmly as he turned to face Gabriel once more. It didn't help that the man was reciting a chant for his next kido spell giving away his location as well. Still blinded the man didn't advance. "Hoho!" he exclaimed as the paralysis kicked in. He felt his body stiffen. It was then he felt the Gabriel draw closer.

Arawn tried to sit up, but felt nauseous. The smell of his own blood was making him fee almost as sick as seeing it. Blocking that out he managed to rise. Of course this was just in time to be blinded by the spell his companion had cast. It was like when they first fought. Instead of being blinded by the sudden burst of light his glasses went completely black. Arawn was suddenly thrust into a world of darkness.
"Gabriel, run away!" he shouted as he blindly felt his face for the metal on his nose. It was hard to press while still holding onto his sword. With a tap his vision returned just in for him to see the two men clash. His tall friend was rushing a the other man with a mighty swing. The opponent remained stationary with a red light encasing his body. Arawn hadn't heard Gabriel's second spell and thought the light to be some kind of ability. He saw the air ripple around the man and he rose into the air above Gabriel's charge. The taller man missed his target by mere inches. The other man hovered in the air just out of the tall man's reach. There was the sound of shattering glass as the red light faded from his body.
"Well that wasn't very nice." the man said from above. He thrust his blade at his attacker. Since he wasn't the recieptant of the attack this time Arawn got a better look as the air seemed to funnel at Gabriel. What he thought was some kind of invisible bullet seemed to be more like a javelin made of wind. He could only stare as flew at his companion.

As Drac continued his charge at the mysterious man he notice the air around the man began to ripple around him. What the hell......is that an air ripple!? As Drac swung his sword at the mysterious man, the man began to rise off the ground into the air completely dodging Drac's attack and as soon as this had happen the red light around him shattered letting the man gain his mobility back. Drac, who was still in mid swing, was shocked at what happen What the....he just...rose off the ground. Is this is weapon's power or is this another ability of his? Questions flooded Drac's mind as he try to figure out the man's power"Well that wasn't very nice." said the mysterious man, suddenly the man thrust his blade at Drac "Gabriel, run away!"said Arawn, Drac quickly twisted his body away from the man's blade, but that wasn't enough as something slammed into the right side of Drac's ribs and sent him sliding across the ground stopping nearby Arawn.

Drac gritted his teeth in pain while letting out short painful grunts as he placed his hand where he was hit. Blood seeped out of his wound quickly and soaked the right side of his shinigami garb as Drac tried to slowly stand up, but he quickly dropped to his knee's. "......ok......that hurt like hell." Drac was beginning to find it difficult to breathe, he began to wonder if that last attack manage to damage his lungs if so he would be deep trouble without proper treatment. While gasping for air he notice his hand, wielding his zanpakuto, shaking wildly. Drac looked dead at the mysterious man and suddenly he experience the fear again only stronger this time. This man is way out of my league, not only do we not know he's true ability, but he is also holding back......I hate to say it........but I think I picked the wrong fight today......this just might be the end of me. Drac no longer believed in his abilities anymore as doubt flowed into his mind.

Suddenly Drac remembered the time he fought against arawn and how he felt the same way he does now, Drac began to reflected on what the old man once told him "When a warrior doesn't believe in himself he has already lost. Believe in yourself Drac." Drac slowly got back on his feet as he took a deep breath "Believe...." Suddenly Drac's spiritual power rose so much that an aura swirled around him and his zanpakuto. "I won't let you beat us so easily. As long I believe in myself....I STILL HAVE A CHANCE TO BEAT YOU. Bakudo#4: Hainawa." Suddenly a energy rope appeared in Drac's hand and flew towards the mysterious man to bind his arms. Just as Drac finish using the first kido he ran around to the man's backside "Hado#4: White Lightning" Suddenly a bolt of lightning flew from Drac's fingertips and toward the mysterious man. Its best to play it safe for awhile until I figure out that weird attack he hit me and arawn with. Drac stood there waiting for the man to attack him.

The whole scene played out in slow motion for Arawn. Gabriel did his best to dodge the near invisible attack. His attempt failed and he was sent to the ground. Before he could ask if he was okay the tall man okay he struggled to rise. After taking such a hit he was surprised. Still the depth of the damage dealt could be seen there was a gash on the shinigami's side. At least he had fared better than Arawn. He was starting to feel light headed the longer things wore on. How much blood had he loss? The bandage was wet and glistening. He was getting weaker by the minute. They needed to end the fight and quickly, but as thing stood, it wasn't likely to end well for them. So far the man had severely injured both of them in a matter of minutes. How were they going to mount any kind of counter offensive in such a state? Almost to answer that question Gabriel launched a new attack. With the man being still airborne Arawn immediately thought this a bad idea. But rather than warn his companion against it he readied himself. Although it was against his best judgement he'd use Gabriel as a decoy once again. From the tall shinigami's hand a rope of light sprang forth and moved to wrap around the man. The energy coil snaked it's way to the man and encircled him, but Arawn noted it didn't even touch the man. The rope was several inched from being in contact with the man's clothes. Unfortunately Gabriel hadn't seen this. Thinking the target subdued he had moved on to the second part of his attack. He moved to the man's back and attempted to shoot him nearly point blank with second spell. But the man had other ideas. He dropped from the air out of the loose rope grasp and had charged straight at the shinigami. He shifted himself sideways out of the way of the oncoming blast. The white energy hissed right over his right ear as he raised his sword. The air rippled about him.

Arawn vanished. Shunpo wasn't his greatest skill, injured it was even more taxing, but he managed. He disappeared only to reappear right above the man, or more so right above were he was going to be. Arawn stood posed with his sword held over his head. Sa Shin Mu: Beck-Ho. He pumped all the reiryoku he could manage into his arm flooding it with his spiritual power. In less than a second the burden was too much and the weight of the reiatsu brought his arm and the rest of his body crashing down. He fell like a stone his sword leading to cleave the man in half. With a foot to spare the man did a barrel roll, his torso twisted like a corkscrew as he dodged the blade. He was flying again, defying gravity and physics so easily. The strength of Arawn's attack worked against him, his weapon was now lodged in the rock where the man had been standing. His body now horizontal to the ground he kicked up at Arawn. The foot connected sending Arawn flying back up into the air. He stopped himself, there were rocks ready to skewer him in the back. Soon he regretted staying still so long as he saw the ripple coming his way. Arawn raised his blade and focused his spiritual power into Huang Long. The air shifted around his sword just as the enemy's attack drew close. It wasn't fully formed, but his distortion deflected the ripple. Still the impact pushed him backwards. He could feel the stone stalactite dig into his back. Then the push stopped. Through the shifting air around his blade he saw the surprised expression on the man's face below him. "So you've been holding back." the man smirked. "But is that all?" the man was right by Arawn in an instant bringing his blade around in a wide swing. Rather than try to dodge Arawn let himself drop he fell out of range of the man's swing. He had just landed safely on the ground, but the man was still on him. This time it was a kick, but there wasn't time to move. Instead Arawn shifted his sword to intercept. The foot was stopped as it hit the area around his blade, the nearly invisible air bubble. Once more he was knocked back, by the impact. Still it was better than a kick to the head. The man didn't give him a second to breath as he slashed at Arawn. In rapid succession his sword hit off the shield of air. It didn't take Arawn long to noticed his aim was to test his zanpukto's ability. Like a kid with a new toy he was trying to break him bit by bit. Still all he could do was hold onto his weapon. After the first seven hit his arm was numb.

Drac was shocked for he thought that the kido had restricted the man's movement but was greatly disappoint for as he ran around to the man's back side to fire his second kido he watched as the man just slipped out of the first kido as though it was nothing. Drac looked closer and notice air ripples inside the kido. He used that technique again to avoid be trap by the kido....This guy is skilled. As the first kido disappeared the mysterious man rushed towards Drac dodge the second kido altogether, the white energy zipped passed him and struck the ceiling of the cave blowing a hole in the ceiling. Drac quickly got into a defensive stance as the man soared to him ready to strike, suddenly Drac sensed a strong reiatsu above him. He looked up and notice Arawn above him and the mysterious man preparing to strike the man down, but Drac knew that the pain had got to him as Arawn dropped out of air like a rock but still on course to connect with the man. Everything after played out in slow motion as the man dodge arawn's attack and kicked him toward the ceiling. Drac knew that if this battle continued on any longer that both him and Arawn might end up dead.

Suddenly Drac notice that sunlight was coming through the hole made by his kido, Its the next day....we been in here that long, I wonder if the reinforcement have made it to the Rukongai. Only one way to find out. Drac summoned a hell butterfly before him "Attention....This is Gabriel Dorakyura of Squad 2.......Me....and fellow shinigami Arawn...are in need of immediate reinforcement and....medical assistants. We are currently 10 miles from town in a cave deep in the mountain....sending coordinates As Arawn and the man were fighting Drac made a small map out of his outfit and blood and attached it to the hell butterfly. He watched as the hell butterfly flew to the hole in the ceiling trying to reach the others for help.

Drac snapped back into the situation at hand as Arawn was knocked back by the impact from the mysterious man's attack. Arawn was on the defensive as the man went on the offensive and swung at Arawn. Drac rushed toward the man as fast as he could to lend aid, but what could he do? Nothing he did before was effective against him, but Drac couldn't let Arawn down so continue forward "Hey dont forget about me. Burn of the blades that has been lost. Hado#8: Blade of Flames!" Suddenly a blade of fire appeared in Drac's open hand, the wild flames danced in his hand while holding up its sword like shape. As Drac got close enough he made an upward slash at the man's back.

After the first series of attacks the man's blade started to dart dangerously closer. It would seem that he had figured out the scope of the blade's ability. Arawn actually had to work to block off the other man's sword. Moving his arm was like moving a grand piano. The loss of blood was affecting him more than he would like. He was thankful for the area that the bubble projected around his weapon. Due to it's range he didn't have to move the zanpukto as far to fend off the man. Still it wouldn't last for long, he was getting tired. The physical strain was one thing, but the spiritual power required to keep the effect going was making things worse. And he had a feeling that his attacker knew that as well. Of course that would explain why he was so focused on him like this. The thought of using his other arm to launch a kido was abandoned. It already hung limp at his side. The first causality of his rapid blood loss. Just thinking about it gave him pain. There was a slight lull in the man's attack. Arawn tried a low kick, but it was a feint. He barely got his weapon back up in time to block the hiss of wind. The impact pushed him back again. As he recovered his footing he saw Gabriel lung at the man from behind.

"Guess it's my turn to play the decoy." he snickered as his companion summoned a blade of fire into his hand. Imagine his surprise a the blade of flame seemed to explode as it came to the man's unprotected back. The fire expanded to engulf the larger man and the target together. It became a literal ball of fire blocking the two from view. Arawn could only watch in horror as the raging inferno grew in front of him. But just like that the fire vaulted skyward like a dart and both men stood relatively unharmed. There were spots on their clothes where the fire had touched them, but there was no real damage to be seen. The man's sword was raised skyward pointing in the direction the fire had gone. He wasted no time in bringing his weapon down in a chop at Gabriel.

Even though Drac had rushed the mysterious man his focus was still on the butterfly making its way out of the cave, Drac snapped back into reality as the fire from the blade exploded before making contact with the mysterious man. The flames swirled around him and the mysterious man almost like it was being force to by an unknown source of energy. He must of used that technique again to direct the flow of the flames....Wait!! Drac looked up to the ceiling as the flames were rushing close to the hell butterfly DAMN...Did he notice me sending the hell butterfly Drac watched as the hell butterfly and flames rush towards the hole in the ceiling almost like a race, and to Drac's relieve the hell butterfly made it out of the cave just as the flames were closing in. The hell butterfly flew through the sky on its way toward town to send for help to the others there. phew....it made it through....Hopefully they get the message in time to send help. Drac refocus his attention back at the mysterious man who was now bringing his sword down to chop him. Drac quickly blocked the downward swing with all him might but the impact from it knocked him to the ground, but he still held on to his zanpakuto stoping the blade from cleaving him in two.

Drac let out a loud grunt of pain for that last attack had crack three of his ribs and opened the wound more, blood poured from his wound. Drac looked at the man dead in the face and notice that he was seeing double vision and that it was also slowly becoming blurry. "Damn.....shit just hit the fan......got to admit you tough as hell......but this won't stop me from......fighting." With the rest of Drac's strength he pushed the man away from him and raised his open hand "Palace of the dead sleeping within the wombs of the earth, tower above the wicked, pass your silent judgment. Hado#9: Pillar of Hades!" Suddenly the ground began to shake as a huge pike shoot out of the ground aimed at the man's head.

The two men clashed, but Gabreil managed to keep his head. Of course he didn't seem that relieved. There was nothing but pain etched on his face. After withstanding so many of that man's swings he could only imagine how much that block had cost the tall man. Both men were injured and neither of them had manged to inflict any harm upon their attacker. The odds weren't in their favor and yet they weren't about to lay down and die. Still the way he was fighting them he could finish them at any time. He was toying with them. With that much power at his disposal he could have killed both of them three times over without breaking a sweat. Was this a game to him? Arawn clinched his teeth. That was stupid of him. What was the saying? Even a cornered rat would bear it's fangs. Of course that was a silly expression, a rat had no chance against a cat. But that wasn't the point. They might be weaker than him, but they would find a way to overcome his expectations. Underestimating your foe was the first step towards defeat after all. At least that was what his master had said.
"Time to bear my fangs." Arawn muttered trying to think of a way land an attack.

As he thought it over Gabriel was trying his best to keep the man occupied. After blocking the blow he had gone on the offensive. The man moved as he heard the shinigami begin chanting. But it was too late the black obelisk started to rise. Instead he brought his sword around. Just as the rock rose he slashed. There was the sound like grinding rocks. He had cut it in half as he stepped back. The chamber echoed with the resounding thud as the to piece hit the ground. A trickle of blood dropped from his chin. His hand reached up and
"You really have a thing for kido, don't ya." The main flicked his index finger and the chunk of rock he had just severed went flying at Gabriel. As the broken pillar shot forward the man rose up into the air again. Once he had gained distance he looked down and thrust his blade at the shinigami. Arawn could see the ripple flow from the man’s blade, but then came another thrust, and then another. He was releasing a series of attacks from the air downward on his foe. But with the rapid swings the accuracy seemed to suffer. The first shot seemed to slam into the ground just in front of Gabriel, and the next hit just behind him. Arawn could only hope that his friend could manage to hold his own. He might stand a chance. Putting that aside the red haired shinigami finally came to a conclusion of the man’s powers. At first he thought it was gravity like his own, but it was obviously wind based. It would explain the sudden flight and the strange barrier he had created. That being said that did limit their attack options. Wind was way too versatile especially the way he employed it. Add in the superior physical and spiritual strength and he had a sizeable advantage. Still Arawn did have plan. He reached into his pouch with his right hand and removed the round object with a yellow button on top. Arawn placed it into his limp left hand. His thumb pressed trigger. With much effort he closed his fist upon it. He gave a smile and launched himself skyward at the man’s back. His right hand lead his advance with a swing of his sword. As expected the man turned around and met his advance.

"I was wondering if you would join the party." the man said. The man's block would have sent Arawn back if he hadn't braced himself for the strike. He smiled at the man's taunt. Arawn released his hold on the button with his left hand. The man hadn't noticed the object, but Arawn didn't give him chance to as he swung his weapon again. This time he had added his energy to it causing the bubble of gravity. The invisible shield hit the man's zanpukto like a hammer and Arawn continued to swing. Then the orb in his hand exploded. Electricity arced out in a wave, the man's eyes widen as Arawn's body stiffened. The jolt of energy running through his body. Soon both men were hidden from view as the sphere of lightning crackled. In a second the light faded and Arawn and the man fell. While the man recovered before he hit the ground, Arawn did not. It wasn't high drop, but it wasn't a soft landing in the slightest. The man hung in the air smoking from the sudden electric discharge.

Drac watched as the black obelisk rose out of the ground aimed at the man's head but alas the man dodge the kido barely as it had scrap his chin a small drop of blood fell from it as he cut a chunk out the black stone monument. Drac grinned slightly as the man rubbed his chin, for he was surprised that his attack, even though it did little to no damage at all, had connect"You really have a thing for kido, don't ya." Drac smirked at the man's comment "I only use it when i'm at a disadvantage, or when my opponent is too much of a coward to fight me head on." Drac notice the man raising his finger and as he did the piece that he had cut off of the obelisk had rose from the ground and rushed straight at him. If Drac was at full strength dodging that would have been fairly easy but do to his injuries it had become more of a chore, nonetheless Drac jumped out of the way avoiding it in entirely but in doing so put his body through alot of pain. Drac looked up at the mysterious man and notice that he did multiple thrust toward him. Oh shit...its that attack again.... One of the attack hit the ground right in front of him, another right behind him. Quickly Drac notice that the man's accuracy was off slightly whether it was intentional or not he wasn't stick around and find out.

"Stop the Impelling Shot, from a Prompt arrival. Bakudo#4:Sutoppu." Drac raised his open hand in the air, suddenly as the air ripples were closing in they stopped midway in the air. Drac moved from underneth them and let down the kido. The attacks slammed into the ground kicking up dust and debris in the air, Drac turned around to face the man and to his surprise arawn was back on the offensive. Drac watched as the two clashed against one another playing out in slow motion as the sphere of electricity engulfed them both, suddenly it faded and Arawn dropped to the ground with a thud. Drac rushed over to arawn quickly to see if he was ok, he knew that he wasn't the man was just electrocuted, he knew that this would be the best time for them to escape. With that in mind, Drac pulled out a smoke bomb and threw it at the ground, then suddenly a huge cloud of smoke engulfed the two. "Its time to get out....of here Arawn." Drac picked up Arawn and tried to move as fast as he could toward the entrance from which they came from.

None of Gabriel's words reached Arawn. The pulse of electricity had nearly disabled him. Twice now he had experience the surge of his own device and neither time had he enjoyed it. He couldn't see. The energy had disable the bioleech that rested on his nose. Everything was a blur to him. Still he tried to focus his mind. There was an enemy present. If the electric shock hadn't taken him out as well, he had left himself in a very bad position. Try as he might he could not seem to move his body. Every muscle was involuntarily twitching. He was limp as a noodle as the large shinigami picked him up. The attack stood in the air looking down at the two. He was smiling. A wide wicked smiled. The two of them were going all out had barely managed to hold off his fatal attacks. Gabriel's bomb filled the chamber with smoke. Maybe it was time for him to up his game. The more he pushed the more they would push back. He really was enjoying himself he wasn't about to let things end that quickly. The man raised his weapon and put both hands upon it's handle. His spiritual power flooded the area. It was like someone had released a typhoon in the cavern. The smoke was dispelled by the sudden rush of wind. Unfortunately Gabriel had only moved only a few feet from his last location as the smoke screen was defeated. The man thrust his weapon and a huge ripple of air hit the ground right in front of the shinigami's advance. A deep pit now sat between Gabriel and the exit to the chamber. The man landed softy on the ground and started to walk slowly towards the tall man.
"Leaving so soon?" He stopped several feet behind Gabriel and sunk the tip of his sword into the ground. His arm leaned against the weapon. "What ever will you do now? Try to run and I'll cut you down." He pursed his lips as if considering something. "How about this? Drop your friend and I'll let you go. Better yet, kill him." The man shook his left hand and then rubbed his cut chin. "Of the two, I think he cause me the most pain. I think the deserves to be punished." Arawn twitched on Gabriel's back. While he still unable to act, he could hear the man's words easy enough. The fog in his mind still persisted preventing him from being anything more than dead weight.

As Drac picked up Arawn began to make his way toward the entrance from which they came from, every fiber of his body was aching in tremendous pain just carrying arawn, which wouldn't even bother him at all, was causing so much pain that Drac would stagger slightly in his step. The wound on his right side was gashing wide as his blood flowed out of him like a small stream, he could feel his broken rib rubbing against his lungs and other vital organs, and his vision was getting worse as time passed on but Drac didn't care the only thing on his mind now was to get Arawn and him to safety as reinforcement and medical aid came, at least that what he had hoped. "We're almost....ther-." Suddenly Drac felt a huge reiatsu flood the entire cave as the spirtual pressure came down on his body and stopped him dead in his tracks. Suddenly the smoke that once shielded them from the man sight was dispelled instantly as the man then thrust his sword toward them. A huge air ripple, bigger than any of the one's before, hit the ground right in front of them, the force was so strong that it knocked Drac off his feet but he quickly recovered so that he wouldn't drop arawn. As Drac slowly turned around to face the mysterious man who landed only a few feet from him.

"Leaving so soon?" said the mysterious man as he stuck his sword into the ground and leaned against it, his wicked smile sent a shiver down Drac's spine. "What ever will you do now? Try to run and I'll cut you down. How about this? Drop your friend and I'll let you go. Better yet, kill him. Of the two, I think he cause me the most pain. I think he deserves to be punished." Drac lowered his body down and softly laid arawn down on the ground. "Who....the fuck do you....think I am.....I would NEVER betray my friends. Anyone who would betray there....friends just so they....can live. Is worse than scum. Drac gripped his zanpakuto tightly and stood back up. "So you can forget it....me betraying him Drac points towards the limp Arawn. "I would give up my life before I ever even consider betraying my friends." Drac points his zanpakuto toward the mysterious man Now that I know you consider him a threat.....I guess I better step up my game." Drac began playing scenario's in his head to best take on a foe like the man in front, because now that arawn was out of comission for awhile everything was riding on how Drac would perform. Quickly Drac rushed toward the man and swung his zanpakuto at him diagonally while mumbling something under his breath "Stop the Impelling Shot, from a Prompt arrival."

Very slowly the haze was lifting from Arawn. The first thing he realized as his body came back under his control was the fact that he had soiled himself. Thousands of volts of electricity had traveled through him. It was to be expected that he had lost control of his body, his bladder included. As embarrassing as that was it was the least of his problems. The fact the man wasn't in a similar state after the monstrous shock was disappointing. He had hoped it would have given Gabriel time to escape. The man's spiritual energy rushed over him as he cleared the smoke screen. They were quickly exposed to the attacker and their avenue of escape hindered. Arawn felt himself being put on the ground. He tried to scream for his companion to try to run. Instead all he could do was give off a low groan from the floor. It probably went unnoticed as the two squared off. What was Gabriel thinking? As he lay their in anguish he felt his hand clinch. His body was slowly coming back around. The twitching had already stopped as well. His grenade's taser effect was wearing off.

The man grinned. It would seem that his ultimatum had the desired effect. The shinigami was angry and ready to fight. From the way he talked he had him pegged as the "noble" type. All about justice and right. Such bullshit always made him laugh. Calling someone a coward is just a weakling's excuse. Battles were about life and death. Right, wrong, good, evil? None of that matter it was all about strength. Destroy your opponent through whatever means necessary. As his excitement rose so did the current of air around him. The small pebbles from the ground were pickup up by the swirling wind around him. As he stood there the stones at his feet cracked and broke under the burden of his spiritual power. The whole cavern groaned as the man energy bubbled forth. In a single motion he pulled his weapon from the ground and met Gabriel's charge head on with his own charge. The man's left hand shot out to block the opponent's weapon. His hand wasn't even cut from the naked blade instead his finger wrapped around the sword and held it in place. It was like hitting a solid wall. The man's grip was like iron. The air continued to race around his body as his reiatsu rose higher and higer. He raised his own weapon over his head, he gave a sneer as he brought it down.

"Captain Kyourashi, stop!" came from the other side of the cavern. The shout echoed through the chamber and the man's arm stopped. His blade hung in the air, it less than a millimeter from splitting Gabriel's skull. A huge gust of wind and spiritual power blew against the shinigami's face. The man clicked his tongue and withdrew his weapon and released his grip on the other sword. Behind the man the speaker came into view, it was the shinigami that was leading the expedition into the district. He stood there with this arms crossed shaking his head. "Enough playing around, sir. We need to return to Seireitei."

As Drac rushed toward the mysterious man, he quickly notice a shift in the air then he realize that it wasn't no ordinary change the man in front of him was causing this drastic change in the pattern. Quickly Drac notice that small pebbles on the ground near him was rising up and swirling around him like trash in the wind while the one underneath his feet crack and crumble due to his rising spiritual power. The spiritual pressure was getting heavier and heavier as time went on so much that it actually slowed down Drac body as he continued his charge toward toward the man. Deep down even though Drac didn't want to admitted it he was slightly afraid and mad at the same time, afraid that this might be the end of him that his life will be extinguished after this last attack, and mad at the fact that he wasn't strong enough that he let his overconfidence in his skill, which isn't that good, get the better than him wishing that he was better prepare for this fight but knowing that it would of been a couple of years before he ever was. His doubts showed on his face clear as day, but even though he had doubt, fear, anger, and regrets he still continued on....why would a man who stood no chance against a foe who was clearly stronger than both him and arawn put together still fight on? Who know's.

As Drac rushed toward the man, he was shocked that the man also went on the offensive and charged toward him for this just threw his plan out the window, and another scenario just came into his in mind in which the outcome was not in Drac favor. Nether than less Drac continue on hoping that he come give enough time for Arawn at less to escape. As he continued on with his swing at the man, it was quickly stopped by the man's bare hand. Drac couldn't believe that this man stop his attack so easily but he shouldn't have been all that surprising for this was a game of cat and mouse the whole time, in the end Drac never stood a chance. Drac noticed the man's blade coming down toward his head like an axe, Drac reached for his sheathe to see if could block it in time but the blade was coming down to fast So this is how it ends huh.......Damn....seem I wasn't strong enough... As the blade came down a almost familiar voice echoed threw the room "Captain Kyourashi, stop!" The blade stopped just above Drac's head, sweat ran down his face as a huge sigh of relieve came over, but now questions flooded his mind. Drac looked past the man in front of him and notice the shinigami that lead the expedition. "Enough playing around, sir. We need to return to Seireitei.

Drac was stunned for words he couldn't believe what was going on. "Wa.......Wait a minute......Captain? You was a Captain this whole time!!? Someone explain to me what the hell is going on here!?" Drac began scratching his head trying to figure out how did this all go down.

The man clicked his tongue again, but didn't turn around. His face had sour look upon it. "Fucking killjoy." he groaned as he dusted debris from his shirt. The wind had died down in the chamber. After the man had called out to him the smothering reiatsu had vanished completely. The shinigami in question was crossing the cavern toward the two men.
"Our mission is complete, it's time to leave." the man repeated. "You've had enough fun for one night."
"Bullshit!" the man roared to address the shinigami. "They're the ones that took out all the damn fodder. I didn't get to do anything."
"I guess that explains why you were bullying these two. "Glad I came to check on you before things went too far. Who knows what you would have done to them. " the man said with disdain as he observed Gabriel's condition. The large man's uniform was cut and stained with blood. He then looked down at Arawn's prone form not too far behind him. "Well at least you didn't kill them." he muttered. "Wait, what do you mean you didn't get to do anything? Didn't you get to take out that rogue?"
The captain blew a rasberry and waved his hand dismissively.
"That guy was even weaker than these guys!" he waved his hand towards the back of the cavern. "I had him down in a second. I don't even know why I agreed to this mission in the first place. Anyone could have taken him out." The shinigami rolled his eyes at the captain.
"You wanted to take part in this mission because you were bored hanging around Seireitei. I told you we could have handled it!" The vein on the top of the man's head bulged. "I recall you saying 'this will be fun!' before you ran off. Then we lost communications and had to send a search party!"
"The damn phone broke, it's too fucking delicate. I pressed the button and it just fell to pieces." the captain retorted. The shingami's veins continued to pulse as he listened to the man's excuses.

Arawn was half aware through the conversation. The fact there wasn't any more fighting going on was strange enough. He was too far away to completely here what was going on. His hand shakenly pushed him from off the ground to slightly propped up position. His vision was still blurred. It would take some time to reset the bio-leech. Instead he tried to orientate his body in the direction of the voices. Everyone was just a blotch of color to him, yet he tried to spot the among the rock formations. He was sore all over. Just keeping himself was taking alot of his concentration. The wound on his shoulder was throbbing. " If the fight is indeed over, some medical attention would be nice." he groaned.

"Fucking killjoy." Suddenly the wind died down and so did the reiatsu as the shinigami that lead the expedition came out of the shadow and approached them."Our mission is complete, it's time to leave. Drac stood there in shock as the two bicker back and forth between one another, Drac was becoming increasing anger as he listen to the captain excuses "You mean too tell me.......you put us both through that ordeal........just because YOU WAS BORED!! Drac face was become red with anger until he notice that Arawn was starting to move again even managing to prop himself up. "If the fight is indeed over, some medical attention would be nice." Drac smiled before looking at the captain and the man "Can one of you please call for medical attention for my friend-." Drac stop for his vision became so blurry he could only see the two shapes and then it went pitch black, Drac went unconscious from the loss of blood if he didn't get any attention soon he was going to be in deep trouble.

Both men turned to regard the newly conscious man. Captain Kyourashi tried his best to look innocent while the other man scowled.
"What?" With a groan he pulled out his phone and began dialing just as Gabriel dropped to the floor. The man shook his head and regarded fallen shinigami.
"I sure as hell ain't carrying him." he said flatly as he waited for the phone to be answered. While Arawn still couldn't see he could hear. When he heard the body drop he was fearful the fighting had resumed. Of course there was nothing he could do to defend himself or his friend at this point. If they wanted to kill him the best he could do at the moment was sit up. As Arawn waited for the deathblow that never came Captain Kyourashi bent down and picked up Gabriel like a sack of dirty laundry and put him over his shoulder. The other shinigami attended to Aawn. The next moment he was on his feet with the support of the other man. There was the sudden rush of air as the started moving. So much wind, they had to be moving fairly quickly. It was hard to tell where they were going since Arawn couldn't see. It was dark and then bright as they moved through the hidden base. Soon they were outside again. He could smell the trees and flowers. Not to mention the sound of birds singing. They were moving through the woods now. The pain going through his shoulder increased. Arawn decided to close his eyes since they were useless. Instead of conserving his strength he promptly fell to sleep.

He awoke some time later sitting in a bed. There was sunlight filtering through the window. The first thing he noticed was the fact he could see. As he raised his arm he saw that his shoulder was bandaged. It hurt, but not too much. Arawn took a moment to look around, he recognized the surroundings. It was the 4th Divsion room for recovering patients. But he wasn't alone. There was someone in the bed parallel to his own. It was funny how he had missed the large frame of Gabriel sitting beside him.

Drac laid on the cold cave floor unconscious as the Captain and the man continued on with their conversation, in and out Drac would come back conscious but even when he regain some of his conscious he could only hear mumbling from the two men but he could still feel the things around him. For a minute he felt the cold dew from the cave floor as he laid there, suddenly he felt a rush of wind before laying on something hard and fleshy then another rush of wind only this time it was longer. This feeling lasted few minutes until suddenly he felt the warmth of the sun's rays as they moved at a fast pace. ..I'm moving.....pretty fast?....Someone must be carrying me..........I wonder if......Arawn's alright.......he need the most attention out of..........us both. As Drac was being carried he opened his eyes a little to see if Arawn was nearby even though his vision was blurry he knew the image of Arawn. He notice a figure carrying what seem to be another figure on his shoulders, the blurry image on the man's shoulder seem to be Arawn but he wasn't sure at all if it was, suddenly he passes out again and this time for a long while.

As Drac was unconscious he began to have a dream, he was in a total blackout space where there was nowhere to run. Suddenly a shadowy figure appeared with a sword and charged him, Drac fought back but no matter what he wasn't strong enough to hurt him, then the figure disarmed him and was about to cut him down No.......NOOOOOOO!!! Suddenly Drac awoke from his nightmare in Squad 4 recovery room, Drac examined the room for this was his first time in there, but knew that this wouldn't be his last. The room was all white even down to the bed sheets he was sleeping in he, as he continue his examination he notice a IV stand next to his bed with a bag of blood attached to with a rubber tube flowing down to a needle in his arm. The bag showed a O-blood type on it which was also Drac's blood type, Drac also notice a white curtain seperating him and another patient he pulled it back slightly and peered around.

On the other side was Arawn who was just waking up. Drac pulled the curtain back with one arm "Your awake that's a good thing. How ya feel?"

To answer the question Arawn tried to rotate his shoulder. There was stiffness and a jolt of pain before he could complete the circle.
"Well enough, I suppose." he said with a grimace. "You're looking well." How long had they been recovering? It felt like a day, but it could be longer. He was about to ask, but figured Gabriel might not know as well. Actually it didn't matter, it was only his curiosity at work. For the most part he might as well just relax and wait to be discharged. With a sigh leaned back on his pillow. For a while there he looked up that ceiling with not a single thought in his head. But as much as he tried to let his mind become as blank as the tiles above him it was not to be so. The events that had transpired started to replay themselves. "I guess we were lucky." he said at last more so to himself than his roommate. Arawn had faced off against a captain in the past. Each time he had managed to get away some cuts, scrapes, and a bruised ego. Of course twice it had been the 2nd Squad Captain. " Both times he had had a feeling the man had more than enough to squash him.

"Still that other man didn't seem the captain type." The whole situation didn't go as he had thought. "So the man that was missing was the captain. I guess right about everything else. Now I can understand the strange grouping." He groaned again and moving his arm slightly. Trying not to move it made him uncomfortable. "They can't just broadcast that a captain is missing. So we were sent to find him. Well the leader of our group was with us as a cover." Arawn wondered if that shinigami had been the vice captain of the squad. They way they talked to one another showed he was familiar enough with the man's habits. That too would explain alot, not the blood they had found on the scene when he went missing, nor the other missing man. Arawn sighed again, figuring he'd not find the answer to any of the questions that remained. He resigned himself to try and get some sleep. "Maybe we'll be out of here in afew days." he said closing his eyes. Silently he hoped to get a chance to call Simone or Bryce to send him a book to read. Until then he'd have to make do with his thoughts and sleep.
