| Classes had seemed to blur together. The history of Soul Society, battle tactics of shinigami, the ruling body, the royal houses, etc. All the information bombarded them and then they were tested every other day. It really was more taxing than Arawn could bear. He looked forward to the weekends of relaxation and self-study more. He hadn't gotten close to anyone in class, but he was friendly enough so he could ask any for help if needed. More often than not Yue would include him into her group work, although she would slack in studies. The class bell rang one morning and Arawn sat at his seat looking out the window. He wished he could skip out of class and take a nap. The teacher walked into the classroom; Arawn half paid attention to his greeting and summary of last class. "Oh yes before I forget; in two weeks we shall have a field trip to the human world." The teacher announced and the class exploded. Arawn's head snapped to attention, his eyes wide. The human world meant Earth. He had all but forgotten that this was the world of spirits with the day to day tedium. "Those of you in the lower 10% of the last test will not be attending." There were several cries whining and cheers of excitement. Arawn breathed a sigh of relief; he had scored well on that last test. "You will be issued a sword during your Zanjutsu classes today, be sure to attend." He gazed at problem student. "You will be keeping your swords with you at all times. Also after attendance you will all report to Zanjutsu classes after this week." More excitement and yells followed, the teacher tried to calm the class down. This was all so sudden; he was going to get a sword. Did that mean they were going to fight hollows? He could hardly wait for the class to end.
