Personality: Ikuto is enigmatic, aloof, stoic and a little naughty. He can also be sweet and kind, though he likes teasing people. Ikuto is selfless and protective thus he is willing to distance himself from those he cares in order to protect them and stop them from getting embroiled in his own troubles. Although he may seem to have a passive personality, Ikuto is quite perceptive and honest.

Appearance: Ikuto has blue hair and eyes. He also has a choker with a silver cross. He is most often seen in his black school uniform, but he has been seen in other black (or indigo) outfits.

History/Background: Ikuto grew up with his uncle, his parents having long-since abandoned him. They knew what he'd become and for some reason feared it as well. He never knew why they'd been so against Quincies, not that he really cared anymore. He was always fascinated by stories of the Quincies, having heard them from his uncle. The man hadn't been one himself but knew several people who had. Most of their tales were of hollows and their vendetta against them, but some of them told of soul reapers. They weren't the most pleasant of stories, he admitted, but at least he had some action to look forward to when he got older.

When he was twelve years old Ikuto met an old Quincy that agreed to help train him. Though he was to elderly to move much, the wisdom that flowed from the man's mouth gave Ikuto all the instruction he'd ever need. Once the man had left, Ikuto practiced his art on his own. He attended high school like every other human being, though in his free time he'd sneak off to go fight a hollow or work on his aim in the old orchard outside of his village. (About 45 minutes from Karakuta) When he turned seventeen, the only birthday gift he received was his uncle's house, for he'd passed away the night before. Now Ikuto lived a life of solitude, working on his studies at home rather than at Karakura High... His life, for now, would prove to be a lonely one...
