Graduated? Now what. (Kaiyo please ~ Ask to join)

Ri made his way to Dojo A1 slowly pondering why he'd been so unusually summon. He saw no other student at the dojo and grew more nervous though he refused to show it. He opened the Dojo and bowed as a sign of respect.

"Enter" A Voice came from within the dojo. Ri entered and saw who the voice belonged to, it was Yalro Yatomo the head of the academy. Ri hearth nearly had a hearth attack, he wasn't sure what was going on.


"Do you know why you are here" Yalro question in a very calm and collect manner , it was obvious he'd planned what he was going to say.

"No Sir I don't" Ri said as he sat down opposite Yalro. His mind raced thing to think what he'd done. He though maybe it was over his fight with Kaiyo but that wouldn't make sense.

"Your progress through this academy had been review by all of your instructors.” Yalro said his voice unwavering at all. "And it has been decided.........Your time here is over Ri. Congratulation "

Ri eyes widened and mind went blank, the word seemed to hang in the air for a few moment. Ri wasn't sure what to do or say or think all he could make his self do was smile. Then his mind starting working again.

"Thank you Sir. I'm honored." Ri said bowing to Yalro. Ri kept a presentable exterior but inside his head he was jumping up and down and screaming his head off.

"You'll be placed in a squad but I think you already know where you'll be going. No?" Yalro said his face finally changing to a small smile.

"Yes sir I do" Ri said as he stood up eagerly. He bowed and calmly excited the Dojo. The moment he closed the door behind him and started yelling in celebration. He took a few moments to calm down then took off in a flat out sprint for the squad 11 barracks.

He arrived after a while and entered the building he searched around but couldn't find Kaiyo. He was getting annoyed then slapped him self and found the Captains office. He knocked on the door and waited for a response

Kaiyo raised her arms in the air, grinning wildly in her chair as it spun round faster and faster. The girl had a desk practically void of all paperwork, and had in fact enlisted some squad members to do it all for her. Kaiyo's office large an spacious, with a desk at the far end, in front of a large bookshelf that covered the section of that wall. Closer to the door of her office were two sofa's, with a smaller table in the middle. Having only just become captain, the girl had yet to decorate properly, although there were several amazingly crafted blades hanging from the wall to the right of the door.

Kaiyo jutted her head forwards when she heard a knocking, her vision still blurry as she fell with a large *thud* off her chair. The short Captain staggered back up to her feet as she wobbled to clamber onto her chair again, gripping tightly to the edge of the desk as she continued to sway around. The girl was however still smiling, because Kaiyo knew who was at the door, 'Ya took yer time Ri' she giggled lightly, meaning for the guy to enter.

Ri opened the door and entered wearing a grin bigger then his face. He walked closer to the desk and with ever step he nearly expected to wake up back in the academy dorm. He noticed the room was massive but then again most things look massive when compared to Kaiyo.

“Had to do some celebrating first.” Ri said laughing. He then remember the formality's but figured Kaiyo cared little about then just none the less he bowed to Kaiyo.

“ Captain Saiyouko. I humbly asked permission to join squad eleven Ri said still in the low bow. He didn't expect Kaiyo to care about formality but he'd rather be safe then sorry.

Kaiyo smiled lightly at Ri's response, the guy did seem awfully buzzed right now. Kaiyo liked Ri, the guy seemed nice enough, plus he was a decent fighter who wasn't stupid and from experience Kaiyo knew they were hard to come across. The blonde girl blinked hard a few times, trying to decide which of the two images was the real Ri.

Deciding she'd just stay seated for a while the girl opened her mouth to reply as the guy bowed low. Kaiyo smirked, scratching the top of her head lightly, 'Hmmm...i dunno' she mused lightly. Her head finally stopping the spinning as Kaiyo smiled once more, 'Of course ya can Ri' she replied, placing both hands on the front of her desk as she vaulted over the front and landed neatly next to the guy. 'Wanna tour?' she grinned, bending down to see the guys face as he bowed.

Ri hearth froze for a few moment when Kaiyo appeared to be unsure then light a rocket it was off again joying for joy. He watch the captain vault over the desk to him.

"Sure" Ri said now stupidly smiling as he came fast out of the bow ,nearly hitting Kaiyo on the way up.Ri bounced over to the door and opened it for Kaiyo.

"SO who's good to fight around here" Ri question through his clownish smile. "Other then you course some I can fight with either of us holding back.

Kaoseu grinned, having just gotten back from the same meeting Ri had had with Yalro. He came in as Ri had just entered and stood against the door frame, and at Ri's question of who there was to fight, he coughed loudly, trying to catc his attention, joking the question as an insult to him. He then looked to Captain Kaiyo and grinned wider, nodding his head and greeting her, his sign of respect. he looked back up and then at the captain once more.

"So, cap'n, got room for one more?" he asked, standing up straight and then actually bowing.

Kaiyo flailed her arms backwards as Ri nearly hit her when he stood back up. The girl's cheeks tinted a light shade of pink for a moment as Kaiyo rested her right hand at the back of her head. The girl spun around quickly when she heard Kao clear his throat, the initial surprise had meant the Captains' reiatsu spiked rapidly, before she capped it again.

Kaiyo pursed her lips together for a moment, 'Yeah you two might be a pretty good match...i reckon i could fit ya in Kao' she pondered, her head tilted to the one side as her gaze fell up to the right corner of the room in thought. A flash of interest shot along the girl's face as she flash stepped out into the corridor of the barracks, 'Don't ya both want the tour, come on it'll end up in the 11th squad training grounds' she called back into her office.

"I'm at a hundredth percent now so I am" Ri said giving a crooked smile to Kaoseu. He laughed as he exited the office , he was glad he had a chance to fight Kaoseu properly and he need to turn off this buzz.

"To the training grounud then. Lead Ma'am Captain" Ri said gleefully as he bent down to her and grinned. He was glad he'd been accepted into the squad and like most people in squad Eleven he was ready for a fight.

"I hope you have both of them" Ri said more mouthing the words then say them allowed but as he did he tapped his Zanpakto.

Kaoseu grinned and nodded, following them into the corridor. This was great, getting to be in this squad and having someone he knew there to boot. Not to mention they had the best captain, in his opinion. He looked up and caught Ri's words as he mothed them, and grinned wider, nodding.

"Like he said, lead the way, Kaiyo-taicho." he said, as he fell into step beside them.

Kaiyo smirked lightly and she began walking backwards, proper tour guide style. 'Geez, you guys are fittin' in so well already'. The girl pointed out the various boring and better kept training rooms (where no real weapons were allowed), along with a few briefing rooms along the way. The girl slowed further as she reached her favourite spot, the large doors slid apart practically silently to reveal the 11th squad garden. It was surprisingly peaceful, and had only recently been revived to its natural state.

'Heres my favourite part' she chimed. Cherry blossom trees swayed wistfully in the corner of the square garden; that was surrounded by the corridoors of the barracks. A small trickling waterfall had been placed in the centre of the garden, glistening as the sun splashed onto each droplet of water. In truth, the 11th squad garden was more closely a glimmer of sophistication amidst turmoil. Kaiyo turned back to Kao and Ri, her face glowing with pride as various squad members basked silently in the garden, not disturbing the peaceful nature of it. A few did stand just to bow to the Captain as she appeared though, with the majority already asleep like cats curled up by the fire.

'I just had it all re-done, so clean up whatever else around the barracks...but don't mess up the garden' the girl's eyes turned darker for a moment as her tone became more serious. Of course, her squad members had received the same warning, and while some didn't dare go near the damned place, most had accepted it as the one calming place to rest.

Kaiyo slide the doors shut, the faint chirping of birds still drifting through the air. The short Captain gesture along to the left, 'I'll let you see your rooms first' she smiled. Another garden was being built currently, set in the epicentre of the sqaud's rooms. But of course, that was a different story.

Ri followed eagerly waiting round two with Kaoseu. He gazed out to the beautiful garden , the peacefulness was nearly infection as all Ri's excited seemed to dull down. He under stood why Kaiyo didn't want any fighting here , it was too beautiful to tarnish with fighting , even loud noise was a insult to the garden.

"Our own room. Savage no more slumming it in the dorms" Ri said smiling. In the dorm he always got in fight in the middle of the night because he snore , loudly. He followed Kaiyo through a hallway as they started passing by door with peoples names of the doors. They stopped at one that had no name , inside wasn't large but contain a bedroll and a small table as well as a few other bit.

Kaoseu's battle-starved mind went at ease as the effect of the garden hit him. The scent of the running water and cherry blossoms made his eyes droop and his body relax, the tension ebbing away with the gust of wind that blew through the open door. He was about ready to take a nap when the door clicked shut and the sounds and scents were cut off. He knew he had found a beautiful and useful spot to rest when he needed it. He perked up at the mention of their own rooms and was looking forward to it.

He kept pace wth the other two, taking in everything he could, learning all that was possible to learn with a fleeting glance.

Kaiyo smirked over her shoulder to Ri, 'Yeah well' the girl paused when she reached two rooms opposite eachother, gesturing with both hands to the blank doors, 'They're both the same, but you might wanna pick, and your names will be put up by tomorrow' she beamed. Leaning left and right for a moment as she slid open each door.

Kaiyo stood in the middle of the corridoor for a moment, allowing both of her new squad members to take a look around first. Kaiyo swayed forwards and backwards for a moment. Waiting for Kao and Ri as a 12th squad member rushed over to the short Captain in the corridoor. 'Taichou! he yelled, grinding to a halt in front of the girl, the squad member bowed low, his voice rushing through the message, 'The 12th sqaud Captains sends his kindest regards and apologies for his experiment that gave results now being viewed as an anomaly and asks if you could bring your squad members to clean up the hollows that are currently being drawn to the shopping area in District 8'. Kaiyo just glared at the guy for a while, eventually sighing in both anger and annoyance as she snapped back at the unlucky shinigami, 'For Fuck sake!....Fine!'

'Ri, Kao, come on!' she called loudly, already half way down the hallway as she made her way to the 8th district. The 12th squad had a habbit of doing this, because Kaiyo was a new Captain and she didn't like people being hurt, the 12th squad would make a mess, and she'd be left to clean it up. Kaiyo flash stepped quickly, the cap on her spiritual energy had been a hassle around the academy, so she only capped half of it when around Sereitei; making her easy to follow for her two chosen squad members.

'Hell no' she cursed under her breath at the site of the 8th district, so far, Kaiyo could count 5 menos and at least 2 dozen other hollows. The girl went for the largest threat first. Flash stepping quickly in front of a group of kids staring up at a menos as the hollow's mouth began to glow with a red hue. Kaiyo's face was serious, and pretty pissed off as the Captain unsheathed her blade, standing strongly in front of the group with her Zanpaktou outstretched as the red cero shot forwards to the tip of her blade. Kaiyo held her stance as the bright red light was seemingly sucked in by her sword. The girl didn't wait for long once the attack had finished, leaping into the air as she sliced through the hollow's mask with a single clean strike.

Various other shinigami had appeared on the scene, and Kaiyo could sense that Ri and kao were nearly there. The Captain shouted loudly across to other rambling chaos below her, 'Any Shinigami not in my squad, take civilians to safety and call the 4th squad!'.

Kaoseu grinned wickedly and sped off after his captain. Hollows; this was gonna be fun. He arrived shortly after Kayo did, and found a few toys of his own. He took out two Hollow swiftly, drawing both blades as he seemed to dance through the throng of malicious spirits. He quickly came up on a Menos a he made hisway closer. The hulking mass of its bulk looked down on him and gaped its mouth, a red aura filling the air before it. Kaoseu stood there, challenging it with his eyes when he heard a muffled double-voice in the back of his head, "Bring us together..." it seemed to say.

Kaoseu tough he felt his blades grow slightly warmer, but didn't think about it a he put the hilts together and tied the bandages, just a the Menos let loose a mighty Cero. Kaoseu flicked his wrist and opened his palm. This made his two blade spin full arc repeatedly, cleaving the Cero in half as Kaoseu leaped into the air and ran up the Menos, then plunged his blade into its mask and slid down the length of its body, cutting it down the center.

"Hurry up Ri! Yer missin' all the action!" he called as he began toying with some bigger Hollows that had tried to eat a small child and even smaller sister.

Ri arrived just behind Kaoseu and wasted no time making a plan. He leaped onto the building and drew his Zanpaktou as he saw a hollow advancing on a civilians hold a rusty look sword. He jump straight onto the hollows back and with a flash of silver and red the hollow screamed and vanished.


"Jump left Ri A whisper of a voice called to Ri. He jumped right quickly on to a building as he did a cero stuck here he'd been standing. "Run" Ri called to the Civilian who hastily dropped his sword and ran.

Ri turned to face the Menos , it was charging another Cero aimed for Ri. He took an offensive stance and as the wind blew he waited for the Cero to be fired. He didn't have to waited long , the menos fired the cero at Ri , who quickly ran straight on the buildings dodging the cero and heading straight for the meno.

He jump to a tall building and made a jump for Meno , half way there he put his right palm pointing to the building he's leaped from.
"Hado 1 thrust" Ri said loudly as the force of the hado hitting the building and propelled him faster through the air and through the meno's guard.Ri dug his blade straight into the meno forehead and dragged his blade through the mask.


He kicked off from the meno in a dive heading straight for the ground. On his way down he saw another hollow making it's way to a small child. Knowing he'd no chance of getting there in time he placed his right palm at the end his hilt and held the sword loosely.

"Hado 1 thrust" Ri said again this time it shot his Zanpaktou with incredible force straight down through the hollowed skull out it's chin and struck the ground beneath. Ri landed beside his Zanpaktou as the hollow vanished and reclaimed his Zanpaktou.


He ran down the street on a tail of a fleeing hollow. He wasn't sure how many hollows were left but there was still two Meno's towering over the district. He turned the corner and instinctively rolled avoiding the hollow swipe with a sword like arm. The hollow opened it's mouth and moved to Ri but instead of the taste of a soul he only had the taste of steel in his mouth.

Ri saw a meno a little bit down the street and smiled. He ran flat out down the street and as he neared the meno's he jumped on the side of a building , pushed off to a opposite building then jumped for the meno's mask and with a flash of silver the mask was cut. Ri landed of the ground smiling as the meno Vanished.

"What was that Kaoseu?" Ri called smiling broadly as he took the building again in hunt of prey.

Kaiyo's image didn't stay in one place for any period of time; the short Captain was flash stepping through the air as quickly as possible, slicing through hollows like soft butter. The hollows dissolved into nothingness before most of the civilians below could even tell Kaiyo had hit them.

Kaiyo landed silently back to the ground, sheathing her blade as the Menos behind her roared with a final scream before shattering into the abyss.The girl took a moment to look out into the sky, the hollows all seemed to be gone, but considering it was the 12th squad that had caused the mess, more arriving wouldn't be unusual. Kaiyo swept her golden hair back into place roughly, the messy look just seemed to suit her better than a presentable one.

The Captain shuffled further backwards as the other shinigami began filtering back the souls into the shopping district, assuring them it was now cleared. Kaiyo stood still for a while longer, calling round to Ri and kao, 'Stay alert! The 12th squad has a habit of doing stuff like this' her voice trailed off as her gaze fell down to the people shuffled tentatively back into the streets, 'And it never works out so well'. Kaiyo rested her right hand on the hilt of her blade, her sense working overtime as she waited for a moment, the general buzzing of shopping began to sway through the air once more.

Kaiyo spun round with a single upwards strike, sheathing her blade as quickly as she had attacked as the small hollow let out a cry before death. The area seemed pretty clear. The Captain flash stepped onto the tallest nearby roof, watching for a moment longer before she decided to return to the barracks.

Kaoseu grinned widely as he finished mopping up his bit of Hollows. He turned around to survey what was left. He saw a pair of beady red eyes in a tree and silently walked over to it, then cut his palm slightly with his blade, making the Hollow aware of his presence. The bird-like Hollow jumped from the tree, a caw escaping its mouth cut short by the blade that was rammed into it. Kaoseu cleaned his blade and rubbed his palm in the grass, then sheathed his blade and made his way towards the center where Kaiyo was.

He sighed as he saw the Hollow flash, the last of them from what he saw. He looked to his left to see a little boy on the ground, crying. He walked over to investigate and found the boy was missing his mother. It took Kaoseu less than 15 seconds to pinpoint the woman crying out for her child and direct the boy to her. He stood up and caught sight of Kaiyo heading back to the barracks and decided to head back that way, calling to Ri, "First one there gets first room pick!" and took off before the last words left his mouth.

Ri merely smiled as he watch Kaoseu dash off toward the barracks. He didn't care which room he had and so saw no point in rushing for no reason. He walked around the district for some time reviving praise from some of the residence. Ri remembered living in the districts and how hard it was surviving there.

Eventually he started for the barracks at a slow pace admiring the beautiful day. The sun was high in the sky watching over all life in the soul society. Ri soon found him self in the lushish garden of the squad eleven barracks. He stopped for a few moment and allowed himself to enjoy the sight smells and sensations of the garden. It was utterly refreshing to be in such a place.

quietly he entered the barrack and made his was to the two rooms Kaoseu was eager to choose. He saw Kaosue in one of the room and so stood in the doorway of the vacant one.

"This one mine then?"Ri question slowly as he took a look at the room. It was a simple room with the bedroll a small desk and a table in the centre.

Kaiyo wandered along the corridoor quite absent-mindedly; munching on a bagel she'd just been given from a vaguely creepy squad member, not that she minded, the bagel was tasty. The short Captain ended up in her favourite squad 11 training ground, it was in fact her favourite because it had been the first she'd ever trained in.

Other than that, the re-inforced dojo was like any other, although, of course a lot more resistant to spiritual energy than the stuff they had in the academy, but the 12th squad had gone a bit over-board just because Kaiyo had broken a few dojo's before. Either way the girl munched on her bagel quietly, sitting against the farthest wall of the dojo, she figured Ri and Kao would find there way to her eventually, if not, they'd have fun asking one of the squad members.

Kaoseu was starving after so much spent energy fighting the Hollows. He walked around the barracks, taking bits of food from unsuspecting Shinigami as he went by. He finally made his way to a table filled with different foods to choose from and made a huge plate with a selection of finger sandwiches and a bunch of fruit. He wandered arounfd The barracks aimlessly, stuffing his face as he went. His plate was empty by the time he found himself in a training area and saw Kaiyo sitting against a wall eating at a bagel.

He walked over to the small captain, his appetite appeased and sat down close by. He was watching the door as well, waiting for Ri to show up. He looked up at the sky and spoke to the captain absent-mindedly, So, Kaiyo, what was your life like before you died, if you don't mind me asking." He didn't bother with slipping into the Shinigami slang, letting his voice stay in his seemingly icy-cold, intelligent tone.

Kaiyo finished her bite of bagel before talking, bringing her knees up to her chest as she wrapped her arms around them, smiling sweelty at Kao before she replied. Kaiyo had read the guy's file, he'd been a strong applicant for the 12th divsion, so he himself was already interesting enough. 'Erm...I dunno it was a long time ago' Kaiyo flicked her head back for a moment, her blonde hair fluttering back out of her face as she thought for a moment, her gaze dropping to the ground for a moment before she spoke, 'Erm, i was on my way home from boarding school, and i was waiting for the bus, then i heard a woman scream, and there were these two guys...yeah' she mused in an oddly melancholy tone, the story saddened her continually, 'The rest is kinda obvious i think..the woman lived...i didn't' Kaiyo took only a second or two before reverting back to her normal cheerful disposition.

Taking another bite of her bagel as she slid her knees back down and lay against the wall, 'How about you?'

Ri wandered the barrack for a while and greet a few of his new squad mates. He'd lost Kaoseu and Kaiyo but wasn't bothered by it much as he figured they'd probably be around here somewhere.

He walked past a Do-jo and heard Kaiyo unmistakeable voice telling some tale. He walked to the door and slid it open.

"So this is where everyone's hiding" Ri said as he leaded against the door way. "If theres nothing else captain I'm gonna go out for a while

Kaoseu looked at Ri skeptically and replied, "Yer not goin' anywhere jus yet. We got somethin' to finish as soon as I'm done." He then looked back to the captin and grinned slightly as he replied to her question, "I caught the girl I thought I was in love with with another guy and clocked him. Apparently, that's not liked, and he followed me from the resteraunt and shot me. Simple as that." He stood up, popping his neck and back and looked to Ri.

"So, what'dya say we get this party started, hm?" he asked, anticipation building in his gut as he awaited a response.

Kaiyo looked up at the door just as Ri slid it open, grinning happily as she retorted, 'I'd pick a way better hiding place than the dojo'she laughed, almost if she were seriously considering hiding places. The short Captain jumped up to her feet with ease, tossing her bagel through the air as it spun straight into the corner of the dojo, bouncing lightly off the wall as it fell into the small bin the coner; dojo cleanliness was key.

Kaiyo ruffled the back of her hair gently as her eyes traced along the high ceiling of the dojo; her gaze still averted as she spoke, 'Hey if you guys are gunna fight...why not make it for who gets a higher seat in the squad?' she grinned with an evil malice, prizes always made for better sparring.

Ri sighed slightly when Kaoseu remembered about their fight, he'd been wanting to head back the academy dorm to get a few of his things and rub his new position in a new peoples faces.

He walked into the door and noticed Kaoseu had both his Zanpakuto on him. After seeing that he became more interested and even more so at Kaiyo purpose.

"Right then you can come judge then" Ri said with that cocky little grin on. "Judge where I end it with a legal or non-legal blow cause that the way it will end"
