A Life Cut Short... (Rin)

Ikuto walked down the street with his groceries as was routine on Sunday nights. He had rounded the corner that lead him onto his block when he sensed something in the shadows... He couldn't hear anything, which was usually a bad sign. Creatures usually had a way of picking up danger, even if it is of the spiritual variety. He turned to look around. It was too dark to make anything out... The weather man did say that it would be cloudy tonight...

"Show yourself." He said plainly... He heard a twig snap and whirled in that direction. "I'm warning you, my father is the chief of police. You'll do hard time if you try something with me." Though something told him it wasn't a stalker, or a mugger, not even a stray cat. Something told him that it was far more dangerous than even the most psychotic of criminals... Something told him that it was a Hollow...
