Exploration of the Races: The meeting between a Hollow and A superhuman (Jacob & Raikou).

As unusual as it may seem; Raikou was wandering around the city of Tokyo once more just after his little mishap with that shinigami woman. All he could do was shake hsi head as he wandered by the uninteresting people. None of them peaked his interest in the least, maybe he could be sated if he had the taste of one with great spiritual energy or maybe a few pluses could suffice.

That dark violet tongue of his slipped along his teeth and his claws dug deep within the concrete. Something was nearby, but what? He had no idea what it was that was close but it seemed...tasty, Almost delectable within its own scent. The wolf darted off in the direction of the scent in hopes of having a tasty delight.

Jacob had been wandering the city dressed as in his normal form, where he could walk around and not be recognized by the people he meet at school, so he could mostly walk undisturbed, and on his trip he had passed by an unfortunate whole, he had seen the person on the news just a few days ago, the whole was a former criminal, and if there was something Jacob hated it was people that was a burden to society, Jacob had butterflies flying around him when he suddenly looked and placed it on the whole with a grim smile, and in seconds the whole was absorbed and gone.
Jacob knew that he most likely would attract hollows or shinigami this way, but frankly he did not care, should things get too bad he could all ways escape.
Standing in an alley he waited a bit, something with a good spiritual pressure was closing in, it was about at the same level as his own, and it would do nicely for his butterflies if he could take it down, they loved to feed upon the spiritual pressure of others.

From the last time Raikou was within the plane of the Hollow: Hueco Mundo; there was a slight sense of mania locked deep within him. The slightest sense of chaos and destruction was more prominent in his mind just then. Was this that killer instinct that drove many hollows into pointless killings? That question was never answered and was more than likely going to stay a secret until the hour of their decimation.

Those around him at that time were lucky that they didn't appease him. It seemed like the only thing that would are those with high spiritual levels or potential. All that stored energy was going to make him stronger and he knew that for a fact. Suddenly, it was then that he felt the energy spike. It only took him a few moments to pin it down and trail it to its source, longer to obtain a good distance from it.

From the street linings to the building tops did he move. Those claws of his making indents with every step. Only when he did feel the point of origin was close did he stop all movement. Raikou stayed centered on that building top in complete silence. The wind wept past his mask just before he began to conjure up his Reiryoku within his stomach. There were oh so many purposes for him to do this: He didn't know what to expect and he wanted to prepare an attack, He wanted this to end swiftly so he didn't make the same mistake that girl did before and of course he felt like bringing a bit of havoc to the poor city of Tokyo.

Jacob stood looking nervous, the source of energy had closed in, and if it was a hollow, then he had to lure it out, if he looked like a weakling then if it was a hollow it would attack him directly on, and any other source would wait, either way he was going to take them by surprise, and feed his butterflies with their spirits "who... who is there, come out of hiding" Jacobs voice sounded really scared and panicked, but it was all just a play to get whoever was hiding out into the open, all that training in acting had paid off on more then one occasion.
He was still not able to pin point his target completely, but with a little extra time he would be able to know it, and attack them first, but it was all only shortly planned, he could not be sure if it would all work or not.

Raikou wasn't one for simple games. This was a more complicated one for the man below might now be facing his imminent demise. The beast jumped from one building top to the other. Back and forth, the constant moving only sparking more. Yes, his hollow form could be seen but the moon eclipsed his form, making it seem like nothing but a mere shadow. His dark ruby eyes glinted a few times and just then Raikou emerged directly behind Jacob after observing what was going on.

The wolf threw his head back and dropped it forward whilst in mid-flight. A large violet tinted beam burst forth at a great speed towards the male. Hopefully his hit would be true. For if it was, then that particular male would see the true effect of darkness on one's body. The intensity of the pain it could cause. Mm, that sweet taste, the screams of agony that that move had caused was oh so true.

Raikou planned on following that move up with him landing in the previous man's spot, running out into the street and off to the side. What will Jacob do to prevent all of this?

Jacob knew that whatever was out there was making its move, the sounds of something moving in the wind, and the sound of something hitting against the wall, that kind of approach could only mean a hollow, so he had to extra careful with the situation, he could not simply pass through hollows, they were annoying creatures and the ones he despised the most in the world.
Jacob was quick to find out the position of the hollow as it made its attack, it was all about evading or blocking the attack now.
He decided it would be best to evade the attack now, as blocking would leave himself open for a follow up attack, Jacob moved out to the right in the last second watching the hollow run just past where he stood before, though it was running out to the street now which could be a very good plan if not for a flaw in the plan, Jacob could conceal his presence as good as hollows and shinigami did.
Jacob moved after the hollow, he could not allow the hollow to sneak up on him.

The Hollow moved quickly into the streets and down and along them. Ducking and ashing behind what he could to keep to the shadows. His silhouette following his frame with every movement. Soon he became that very thing as he rounded a corner then headed into a alley just as fast. A bounding howl came from one of the rooftops just then closest to where he was last seen. Claw marks were etched into the sides oft he building.

Chasing something such as a wolf whether he was a hollow or not was partially-- actually very stupid and futile. They were far too sneaky for their own good and kniving for that matter. However there was fault in this plan; Raikou lost where the being had gone. All he could do was once again focus his Reiryoku into his claws and stomach and wait for the opportune time to strike or defend.

Moving trough the streets making sure not to hit people while hunting a hollow a wolf hollow to add was not easy, but a somewhat intriguing challenge, that could prove to be rewarding in the end, though the wolf was moving away fast they were predators that would not normally run away from their prey like this so his guess was that it had lost track of his position while running away from him, so now he could sneak up on it if he did it right.
Tough tracking such a beast was difficult with a little luck Jacob was able to track the reitsu trail it left behind and had now placed itself on top of a building waiting for him or maybe something else.
Jacob saw his chance to move. using his ability to pass trough walls he went trough the building little by little and in the end was at the roof where he morphed out of the ground behind the hollow, but he made sure to be silent as he did not want to reveal his ability to just anyone.
Standing behind the hollow he summoned his weapon, a purple arrowhead like energy weapon that was sharp and as it appeared it made a small crackling sound just before he send in a piercing attack to try and take out the hollow in one strike.

Slight traces was all that he needed. Did the male even realize that it took some form of spiritual essence to pass through walls, buildings,etc. It was quite obvious even though Raikou was building up his own Reiryoku while being aware along with preparing of all things. The mysterious male was most certainly an idiot to leave such a simplistic trail for Raikou to follow.

The next thing that this man did took the cake, appearing behind a wolf and summoning a weapon. Raikou immediately noticed this sign and jumped off to the side to avoid the piercing strike. The wolf skid across the ground before launching a sphere of violet Reiryoku upon the ground which the male stood. Without a moment's hesitation did the wolf fire a more dense beam of the same essence after the sphere. It was slightly faster in movement so the two combined would cause an explosion with enough force to cave in the roof along with harming the male.

The beast jumped back off the roof and onto the other using the force of the beam so it caught the right angle. Raikou had high hopes of this male failing in his endeavors of dodging. Though, it would be amusing to let this fight drag on for awhile more.

The wolf was quick to react so it had seen it coming, but that just gave him more reason not to hesitate, so he made his move towards the hollow as the hollow most likely would not expect him to charge right into its attack, Jacob tried to dodge and then move after the first attack, but it seemed to be directed at the ground and not him, and he could see right away what the purpose of the next would be, and he would have to act fast to not take too much damage, he jumped backward in the last second and as the explosion hit he was thrown further backward, but besides a few holes in his clothes and lesser bruises he was able to escape unharmed, less was to say for the building, it was clearly not doing so well and it only increased his hatred to the hollows and the endless ruin that followed them.
Admits all the confusion Jacob had lost track of the hollow, but most likely it had not lost track of him, but he figured it was not going to give up so easy, but its tactics so far had been very abnormal, a wolf like hollow always moved in close to their target, yet this one was not even trying to get close it kept staying at a distance like it knew his strength was in close combat, it was most odd.
Jacob looked around shortly before he began to focus on finding the hollow once more.

This fight was only just getting started and was about to get heated. That disgusting human-type creature was going to pay for that little quaint attack from behind. It apparently liked penetrating things from there to gain a simple win. Raikou found that disgusting from what he has seen."Spineless..." The wolf muttered from two alleyways away. It apparently had been blown a bit of a distance just because of what he had done. Now was only to see what he would do. Wolves were naturally sneaky which should be taken into account. The wolf masked what of his Reiatsu that he could whilst slinking around the shadows.

Something made his movements somewhat difficult however, what was it? A short lived pain that came from his hind legs as well as his forepaws. Must've been a reaction to the explosion. Damn recoils. Raikou stared off at where the man last was from a dark corridor. His crimson hues constantly scanning over the area between there, the rubble-ish area and a few other buildings. Now he lie in wait, ready to pounce when ready.

Jacob was able to find a trail to follow from the hollow, but it could be on purpose as it so far had striked him out of the shadows and used distance to its advantage, but playing hide and seek was not a good idea was the wolf most likely was the most adapt in the technique of hiding in the shadows, so he would just have to use himself as bait to lure out the hollow, it would be risky, and most likely not worth the trouble, but it would be amusing to see just how far the hollow would go to get to him.
Jacob decided to pretend he was more injured then he really was, it would lure out the hollow easier as the injured prey is easier to take out.
holding his hand on his right arm and making his way slowly ahead pretending his left leg was injured he followed the trail the wolf had left behind until the trail would end and leave him with nothing to follow

Was that male an idiot or something. More than likely a simplistic or a pseudo-strategic type of male. For he tried luring a wolf based hollow out into an opening with a simple trick. No scent of blood; well not much blood for him to be like that. It only took that little pin-point to realize that they male was pretty much faking his acts. It wasn't like he was literally crawling out of the rubble plus from what he saw previously, he was agile in a way.

A violet light entered the sky, but then there was nothing from its origin. Nothing but a pair of claw prints that were engraved into the cement of the alleyway. Another pair were small but was in the wall instead. it seemed like he was running away...why? Was this a test? Raikou didn't know whether or not to take the chance with him. He had bigger fish to fry. Well...that's a lie...he was just luring the male out into an open area. A grassy...open field...
