The Bleach World - A Brief History (Please Read!)

Welcome to The Bleach World Roleplaying Forum!

For those of you who are not familiar with the current storyline, allow me to give you a brief summary of the events that have unfolded and the effect they have had on our forum.

A Rebel Faction, consisting of Rogue Shinigami, SuperHumans, Quincy, and Former members of the 13 Court Guard Squads, waged a war against the Seireitei and the Central 46. The Central 46 were being controlled by a single deranged, and power-hungry shinigami named Taro Kato, who ordered the assassinations of Captains Ri O'Nocht and Kurama Himura for investigating the Central 46. While Ri O'Nocht, Captain of Squad 13 was slain, Kurama Himura, Captain of Squad 10 escaped with his life and fled to the World of the Living in order to gather forces strong enough to bring down the corrupt judicial body.

This Rebel Faction, as it would become known, fought relentlessly and many lives on both sides were lost but ultimately the Rebel Faction lost. However, they were indeed successful in killing Taro Kato and freeing the Central 46 from his control. This news however, was never made public and Kurama Himura and his allies were forever branded as traitors.

Some ten years later, the Soul Society has returned to normal and the ranks of those lost in battle were since filled. The Shino Academy has reopened it's doors and resumed training. The surviving members of the Rebel Faction went into hiding and as most of the participants identities were unknown to the Seireitei, they were able to carry on with their lives. This is where we are in our story. Only the constant threat of the Hollows remain for the Soul Society to worry about. For now... perhaps they are only in the eye of the storm. A war that would dwarf the size of any war ever waged could be right around the corner...

What happens from here is up to you. As a roleplayer you have the ability to impact the storyline in many ways. Whether you decide to join a faction and help them, or even lead them, to new heights, or even create a faction of your own. Perhaps you just want to get drunk and crack some skulls, whatever it is you choose to do remember that in the end all that matters is that you have an enjoyable roleplaying experience and the staff are here to do everything in their power to ensure that your stay here is a pleasant one.
