Judgement(Kaiyo,Taka)

Deep within the soul society near Squad 2 HQ, five individuals were making there way toward to Squad 2. Three of them were members of Squad 2 Task Force sent to escort two individuals wanted for questioning for the murder of an entire gang. Two of the members position themselves behind the two individuals they were escoting while one lead the group in the front, the two individuals, Drac and Kaiyo, were in the middle of the group. Drac and Kaiyo made there way up the stairs and into to Squad 2 HQ, as the group made there way through the HQ, Drac and Kaiyo were getting looks from all of the members present in the building some in shock others disappointment and shame to Squad 2 members upholding the laws and serving justice meant having pride and honor to see one of their one act out or break a law brings shame to the squad Well.......I expected nonetheless....I know what I did went against the laws and rules I sworn to protect and uphold, but in my heart it felt right to me. Drac and Kaiyo were lead further into the building until they came up to and elevator, the shinigami leading them stop in front of it and pulled out a mysteriously skull shaped key and stuck it into a keyhole under the elevator button. A loud clank noise was heard then the rattling of chains and metal rising up to the door, suddenly the door flew open to caged fenced elevator. The man proceed inside and the two followed behind him and so did the other two shinigami, the door shut close and elevator proceed downward, minutes passed what seemed like forever in that elevator till the elevator stopped and the doors flew open.

The shinigami that was leading them walked ahead of the group until they came upon a small office on the right, the man then faced Kaiyo and Drac "Sorry, but only people security level clearance are allowed to have weapons beyond this point. I ask that you please place your zanpakuto's here on the question, you may get them back after the questioning is over." Drac looked at Kaiyo and nodded his head then proceed removing his zanpakuto and placing it on the desk, a man behind the glass office grab the zanpakuto's and placed them in a sealing pod where they hovered in the air. "Alright, lets proceed on then." the man continued on forward down the long hallway, Drac notice that the texture on the walls began to change after so many feet and lighting got dimmer and dimmer. They arrived at a huge brass door at the end of the hallway, the man quickly turned around and looked at them with a stern look on his face "I would advise you stay close to me, after all your about to enter the Maggot's Nest." Suddenly the man pushed the door while open with lead into this huge very dim lite room with cells all around the room and in the middle was a big dark hole that lead futher down into the nest. Criminals from low crimes to major crimes were stationed here with more than 100 years sentence. The prisoners quickly notice the them both and looked at them with menacing and lustful glares mostly staring at Kaiyo, some even running up to their cells making degrading sexual comments while taunting the guards behind them. Drac looked all around scanning the area, until he felt a huge spiritual pressure coming from inside the hole What the hell.........that spiritual pressure was huge!

Drac looked down into the dark abyss until the guard spoke to Kaiyo and him "This way you too." The shinigami led them into an huge facility that in the walls of the Maggot Nest, inside the building was so technology advance Drac thought he walked in a lab in squad 12. The shinigami then lead them down another hallway until they stopped at door on their right "We are here." The man open the door which led into a dim lit room with a table and three chairs two on one side, one on the other. "Take a seat, someone will be with you shortly." Drac walked around the table and took a sit, he then waited for the man to leave before he looked at Kaiyo "Don't worry, your not gonna get any charges......cause I'm say I did it.......And thats final!" Drac looked at her with a serious look.

Kaiyo was not appreciating the disdainful glares she'd been receiving, in fact she'd always made an aggressive step towards one particularly snooty looking bugger- she'd been swept back aside by one of their escorts. It all seemed like a bit much, surely all they'd done was kill some bad guys? They'd started it anyway. She sighed and filed into the elevator. The confined space made it feel all the more awkward and she shuffled with a nervous angst that had swept along her body.

She pushed her mouth out in disgust when asked for her sword. Surely that was a breach of Soul Society or something? Opening her mouth to argue the point, she was stopped by a quick nod from Drac. She frowned in annoyance; at the risk of making his time worse she decided to comply, but only for him. She tugged at her blade and threw it onto the table. She flicked her head around, allowing her hair to whip round after her; just so they knew she was annoyed.

The blonde girl trudged along at the back, her jaw damn near hitting the floor when she was told they were being taken through the maggots nest. She'd only recently heard rumours about it at the academy. She hadn't even done anything that bad! Had she? Doubt crept in through her placid expression as the cells around them began to rumble and leer; hands groping at the air as she passed. She managed to hold her expression, at least looking a little disgusted at the scary figured. Until they reached past the whole; she felt herself choking. The pressure forcing her small body down so immensely that she staggered forwards onto Drac a little. She inhaled deeply when the air finally got thin enough to breath again...That was scary. It shook her, more than she even realised; she'd never experienced anything like it. In fact, Kaiyo was certain that could have killed her.

Kaiyo wiped her hand heavily along her forehead as they sat down; allowing a slow sigh to drop her shoulders. She shook her head avidly at Drac; instantly regaining her fighting spirit. 'No chance! ...If anything, it'd my fault' she countered. She leant back in her chair, folding her arms as she slid down. She dropped her head backwards with a groan, 'This is stupid anyway...They're the ones who killed a sweet old lady!' she practically snarled- clearly her anger over the topic was not yet resolved.

Kaiyo lifted her head back up when she heard a click of the door. Her expression un-wavering and stern as she prepared to glare at who-over walked through. She'd almost convinced herself that they were here simply due to a clerical error.

Tatsu had been warned about the situation, he had a file in hand explaining the event. Apparently these members of the second division, butchered a gang that had killed a gang, as the 3rd seated officer of the division he had accepted the task of interrogating them. Tatsu reluctantly gave away his zanpakuto at the entrance of the nest, even though he was good in hand to hand, he wasn't anywhere near as good as he should be to be in this place.

The soldiers gave him a look of respect, they knew what he had done, Tatsu had a past for the second division now, having saved its lieutenant and helped its captain on multiple occasions. The samurai was used to overwhelming spiritual pressures, he took note of the massive pressure and kept walking to the elevator.

Red bandanna in the air, his quick strides led him to the interrogation room, the first click was followed by multiple others, -locks being released- the black haired man looked at the guards and they noted that he would be alone with them and that he should be careful.

The room opened itself before Tatsu, he could spot what seemed to be two young shinigami with a very, very annoyed look on their faces. The tall man closed the door behind him and proceeded to scratch the back of his head, making sure the knot on his bandanna was secure.

''I am Tatsu Chirako, Third seated officer of the second division within the Seireitei''

Mr.Chirako was known to be a previous rogue who had been taken back within seireitei while helping the captain of his division, he was also known for his zanpakuto.

''Now, I hope you know the trouble you are in'' He frowned as if he was looking for a solution. Still leaning against the wall, Tatsu opened the file and looked up at the male. ''Now, tell me how it happened...from the start'' Of course Tatsu knew how soul society thought it went, but he wanted to know their side of the story.

'No chance! ...If anything, it'd my fault. This is stupid anyway...They're the ones who killed a sweet old lady!' said Kaiyo as she sat down waiting for someone to come. Drac looked at her with a stern look "Enough Kaiyo, your future is bright you got too much riding for you." Drac lowered his head and let out a deep sigh "I know a little bit of how Squad 2 interrogation work, their gonna send some high seat officer to come down and investigate us and also find out what went down in the rukongai, they probably pulled our files to figure out who we are as a person and capitalize on our weakness. Be careful and don't be pulled by his question." Drac looked up as he heard a click at the door, he could hear the multiple locks unlocking as the door began to open he looked toward the man that would be interrogating him and Kaiyo Ah shit......I wish it was someone beside him Drac knew who exactly the man that stood before them now with his red bandanna

''I am Tatsu Chirako, Third seated officer of the second division within the Seireitei'' said the man dressed up like a samurai out of the feudal era, ''Now, I hope you know the trouble you are in, now tell me how it happened...from the start.'' Drac looked at Kaiyo and nodded his head then looked at Tatsu Well it started like any normal day down in the rukongai the streets were busy with farmers selling their stocks to earn a good days pay and people buying them. I was helping an old friend of mine delivering her stocks to her shop so she could sell them and make some money for her and her son, when her son told me that he saw a shinigami like me being harass outside. I went to go check it out and that when I met Kaiyo for the first time, she was being harassed and threaten by the local drunkards of the town so I decided to help by using necessary force to drive them away. Only they came back with more guys I didn't want to cause too much of a scene so I bind them with kido and knocked them unconscious, after the ordeal Kaiyo and I decided to grab a bite to eat at a nearby bakery. I knew of the lady that worked there for she used to give me some of here pastries as a child so knew where it was at, We sat down a began to converse for awhile.....then it happen."

Drac stopped and took a deep breath as the memories of the event replayed in his mind "The woman was shot in the head by some gangster, she told us before hand that she was being hassled by certain gang in the area....she didn't deserve to die the way she did I became enrage and ran outside to find the killer and I notice a man running with a gun in his hand and a big red x on his back. I chased him down the streets to a dead end in District 25, but he ran into the forest so I continued onward after him. I came upon their hangout that when Kaiyo caught up with me, I told Kaiyo....that if that anyone got in her way to kill them and find that man. I blow open the front door of the hangout and began to killing everyone that stop me from getting to that man." Drac let out the deep breath he took in a looked at the Tatsu with a stern look "As I was fighting of the other members of the gang, Kaiyo informed me that he was making a break for the door. I quickly chased him down and began beating him to death with my bare hands...........I know what I did was wrong Tatsu, I should have just captured him and brought him and let the justice system handle it but...... Drac clenched his fist and laid back "I thought a man that was willing to kill an innocent old woman.....didn't deserve to live."

Kaiyo knew Drac was just trying to look out for her, but she couldn't help fight back with an aggressive retort. 'Yeah but i took you there! I mean, bloody heeee-' The door swung open as Kaiyo was mid rant, the noise continued from her mouth in an awkward sound as she altered her tone, 'llloooooo'. Her expression froze. She was fully aware she'd sounded like a mad scientist just then. Too ashamed to even speak she lowered her head.

She lifted her gaze when Tatsu had sat down, her head dragging up against her hand as her prudent stern expression softened. Drac's explanation seemed to blur into the background as she looked at the man closely. She didn't know him; they'd never met, she knew that much...But, there so was something so familiar about him. She leant in a little closer, her eyes narrowing slightly as she did so; un-folding her arms. A pulse rippled through her head as she noticed the red bandanna. It looked as if it had gone through hell and back itself, let alone the man wearing it. She winced back at the pain in her head, silently reminding herself to remain more stoic.

She sighed loudly when Drac was finished speaking, throwing a sideways glance to him as she directed her gaze towards the stranger. 'Look...It's my fault, he was just nice enough to look after me' her voice was clear and crisp. She just wished Drac would let her take the blame, she felt already as if she owed the man a debt. If not just for the obvious trauma she'd caused him already: Kaiyo really did blame herself.

Tatsu proceeded to scratch his forehead, he knew what these guys felt for the lady but he also knew that their reaction wasn't the right one to be had after such a situation. He thought over the situation and tried to find flaws or something that he could use to get them out of this situation.

''So you are telling me that because someone killed somebody else, you slaughtered them one by one?''

Scratching his hair once again Tatsu thought over the situation, he would of probably done the same thing himself.

''Why didn't you report this to your division's higher command, also known as me?''

His voice tone sounded as if he was scolding them, as if he would've approved of their actions if only they had asked first. The samurai sighed at the end of the story seeing the woman take the blame on herself, he turned his glance to the man knowing he would most likely counter and asked him. ''Is that true? Did she force you?'' His tone was unimpressed and he kept on wondering what they would pull out next to take the blame on themselves.

''You know I am impressed at how hard you two try to take the blame for yourselves. And I highly doubt that killing some mobsters will earn you any years in the nest, but what my job is today, is to see if you get to remain a shinigami or not.''

Tatsu looked at both of them making sure his voice was understood.

''Now you better give me something that'll grant you some kind of pardon''

''So you are telling me that because someone killed somebody else, you slaughtered them one by one?'' said Tatsu, Drac looked back up at the samurai with a look of anguish while messing with his fingers "That somebody.....was like family to me. She accepted me with open arms and treated me like one of her own." Drac stopped himself before he became enraged again and that wouldn't help better his current situation. Drac let out a deep sigh and looked up to the ceiling as began pondering over everything that's happened. ''Why didn't you report this to your division's higher command, also known as me?''said Tatsu and before he could answer Kaiyo had responded "Look...It's my fault, he was just nice enough to look after me." said Kaiyo

Tatsu looked at him''Is that true? Did she force you?'' Drac shook his head "No she...." Drac let out a deep sigh, looked at Kaiyo and then lean forward toward Tatsu and looked dead in his eye with seriousness "Your right, I should have done exactly that but....I'm sure you have much more important things to do than deal with something as small as this sir. Plus I......" Drac looked at Kaiyo and nodded his head "We both lost our cool and acted on our emotions."

Drac looked at Tatsu with a look of shock he didn't know that it was that serious, it took him a long time to reach where he is now so many people was rooting for him to succeed and make a better life for the people in the rukongai. ''Now you better give me something that'll grant you some kind of pardon'' said Tatsu, Drac went into deep thought thinking of some way for them both to get pardon. Suddenly Drac remember when he was chasing the man, he open fired on him and then he remembered when they both invaded the hideout "......self-defense.........It was in Self-Defense, we both were threaten with deadly violence, our attackers each had the intention of killing us.....So" Drac laid back in his seat "We felt threaten and defended ourselves sir."

Kaiyo rolled her eyes at the man speaking; she just didn't appreciate his tone and she wasn't great at being told off either. Still, she made a conscious effort to at least look sorry...It didn't quite work, looking severely pissed off instead she allowed her mind to wander. She was still being drawn back to his bandanna, so much so that she nearly rose from her chair just to take the damn thing off the guy. Her train of thought caught the edge of Tatsu's words just in time and she physically snapped back to the room.

Her head twinged left to right, uncertain if she'd even heard him correctly or not. Surely, they couldn't lose their status as shinigami because of such an act? As the harrowing news sank into her mind, Drac had already begun their line of deceit. Kaiyo slowly turned her head to him, managing this time at least to keep her expression completely blank. She looked back to Tatsu as she clenched her jaw slightly. 'Yeah...What he said' she added flippantly. 'Doesn't seem that big a deal though really' she muttered to her feet, shuffling in her chair as her blue eyes flickered up to the mans headband again, could she ask about it? Was that rude?...She'd killed dozens of people rude seemed miles behind her now.

Kaiyo shot a quick smile to Drac. She felt bad for their misfortune, but it had been an adventure- one which no doubt would cost her a few nightmares, but she had to see the bright side for now. If she was never allowed to be a shinigami again, at least she'd made a good friend out of it. Kaiyo stifled back a laugh at that tragic conclusion. Se drummed her fingers along her lap, 'Can we go now? Or do you wanna tell us off some more?' There was not even an edge of sarcasm in her words, in fact it was the complete sincerity with which Kaiyo spoke that likely made her sound more offensive there.

Tatsu let the files he had in mind drop on the table before him, he could notice the girl looking at his bandanna on and on again, something about it made him feel uneasy, he had gone through much effort not to get tissue destroyed. Tatsu listened to the line the male had to offer. ''Self defense hmm, it does sound legitimate'' Putting his hand in the back of his head he thought about their situation until the girl spoke her second line, something about not being much of a deal, taking a deep breath he looked at the woman and allowed himself to explain. ''We've got two unseated shinigami's going around and killing gangs without orders, to top it off, the said shinigami's are part of one of the most strict divisions out there, one that has some secret information on a current basis, you've shown that you allow your feelings get in the way of your judgement, a smart..angry shinigami would've made a report and get a clearance for his actions before getting to the act.''

''We all have our demons, and I for one have nothing to say over your actions, self defense will get your pardon for this once, you will report directly to me from now on, I will warn the seated officers of the division of my division and I shall arrange things with Captain Akarui.'' With this said Tatsu stood up and with a single hand, moved the table aside, leaving nothing between them and him, he took a step closer, knowing that they were being listened to. He lowered his tone making sure only they would hear what he had to say. ''Don't screw up now, I'm giving you help because someone helped me in a similar situation, and I have done things far worse than you have and got out of it clear.''

Its true that it was a known fact that the samurai was an exile who was taken back as a third seat officer of the second division, older shinigami also knew him as a seated officer of the 11th division, his skill with a blade were also reknowned. ''Report back to your stations'' With this said the shinigami turned around making the bandanna swish in the air and he walked back towards the door, opening it for them. ''I will escort you out of the nest.'' Already eyes of other second division member were glaring at the samurai, he glared back at them without a single moments thought.

"Self defense hmm, it does sound legitimate." Drac watched as the samurai rubbed his hand on the back of his head, suspense and tension made Drac burst into sweat, his nerves were also unease which made it worse. Suddenly Tatsu looked back at him and Kaiyo, ''We've got two unseated shinigami's going around and killing gangs without orders, to top it off, the said shinigami's are part of one of the most strict divisions out there, one that has some secret information on a current basis, you've shown that you allow your feelings get in the way of your judgement, a smart..angry shinigami would've made a report and get a clearance for his actions before getting to the act.'' Drac lowered his head slightly as the samurai spoke Kaiyo and him, quickly the idea of him losing his shinigami powers and not being one anymore entered his mind. He let out a deep sigh Sigh......I worked so hard for where im at. Now I'm about to lose it all........and I'm not mad about what I did. Drac looked at Tatsu in shock for he couldn't believe what he said "Uh, yes sir. Thank you Tatsu." Drac gave off a slight smile as the seed of doubts and fear left his mind, suddenly Tatsu crept closer to them and lowered his tone ''Don't screw up now, I'm giving you help because someone helped me in a similar situation, and I have done things far worse than you have and got out of it clear.'' Drac mind began to wonder after what Tatsu said and a question popped into his head, what did he do to get him in trouble? "Thanks again Tatsu." said Drac in a whisper. Drac slowly got up out of his seat and began to stretch ''Report back to your stations, I will escort you out of the nest. said Tatsu, Drac nodded his head "Yes sir." Drac looked at Kaiyo and followed right behind Tatsu out of the interrogation room and into the maggots nest. Members of Squad 2 were glaring at the both of them, but he didn't care for everything was going good at the moment.

Kaiyo tried her best not to look like a petulant child when the Tatsu guy replied; it didn't work. Alternative tactics dropped her gaze to the ground, her eyes intensely staring at the thin black shoes she'd slipped on. She managed to lift her head just as he moved closer though; her eyes darted to the figures she could see on the other side of the door as he spoke. She nodded slowly with a slow bow, 'thanks' she muttered, rising from her chair as she froze; watching Takatsumara turn and leave. His headband seemed to dance along behind him, swimming through the air as slow droplets of memories trickled through her mind.

Unable to help herself, Kaiyo reached forwards to grab it. Her hand froze half an inch from the red ribbon before she managed an ounce of self control and dragged it back down to her side. She glanced across to Drac; fairly certain he would have noticed. She felt her cheeks flushing bright red as she shuffled awkwardly behind the two men, ignorant of the glares the squad members were giving her. In fact, Kaiyo made it all the way to the exit; almost. Before getting her Zanpakuto back, she snapped. Turning on her heels as she practically yelled at Tatsu, 'Sorry but where the hell did you get your headband?!' she snarled in an over-agressive manner. It surely wasn't hers, so she didn't quite know why the damn thing bothered her so much. She sighed to herself slightly, gesturing with her eyes for Drac to get his sword without her; a weak apology on her part.

Tatsu ignored the glares that were being launched at him for releasing them, but there was nothing they could do, he was a superior officer who had given an order, and they weren't the kind of division to actually bypass their officers. It didn't take long for them to reach the exit. The red bandanna followed his hair in the wind of his footsteps. He wore it all the time, it was almost his trademark. He couldn't feel the woman try to reach and grab his bandanna he was facing the other way, he was pretty sure they would lay low for a while.

Before reaching the exit, he had their zanpakuto in hand, ready to give it to them but before he could act he heard the voice of the woman snap behind him, she seemed to ask about the bandanna in his hair. He turned around tossing them their weapons he smiled as he prepared his reply within his mind before actually giving it to her. ''I got it from the most important woman in my life, she was my captain...Kaiyo..it belonged to her sister...'' And with this the samurai seemed to drift in thoughts, it was a known fact that the captain had been defeated in the past, to the comon ears, she was dead.

Drac continued following Tatsu through the maggot's nest, every step he took he could feel the huge amount of spiritual pressure coming out of the huge hole in the middle of the entire area. He looked down the huge pit as far as his eyes could see clearly It seems too go on forever........and it also seem like pressure gets stronger as the further down. Drac backed away from the pit and continued on with kaiyo and tatsu towards the exit out of the maggot's nest. As Drac, Kaiyo, and Tatsu walked through the double doors leading back down the long hallway, Drac notice kaiyo reaching for Tatsu's headband glazing upon it like someone in deep thought. As she looked toward him he smiled gently as her cheeks flushed bright red, Drac was also interested as to why he wears it, maybe it had sentimental value? The question popped into his head until Drac noticed that they came up to the front desk that him and kaiyo stopped at when they got off the elevator. The man behind the desk glared at all of us before handing Tatsu Kaiyo and Drac's zanpakuto heh guess news spread quick around here Drac grabbed his zanpakuto out of the air when tatsu tossed it toward him and began straping it to his clothing when Kaiyo yelled something toward Tatsu

'Sorry but where the hell did you get your headband?!' Drac towards the two direction after finishing attaching his zanpakuto ''I got it from the most important woman in my life, she was my captain...Kaiyo..it belonged to her sister...'' said Tatsu, Drac began to recall a captain also going by the name Kaiyo died not to long ago "Sorry for your loss, at least her soul is at peace." Drac notice that Tatsu was reflecting upon so he didn't pry any further on the matter.

Kaiyo...Her sister. The words fell like tear drops into the ocean; echoing and rippling to the darkest parts of the girl. The parts hidden from even herself where Kaiyo's soul was slowly starting to reform, to take back control. The smallest morsel and speck of hope had been the plan all along- but for now, it went un-noticed. By all that is, except Kaiyo. Still, as anyone might know even the smallest grain of life can spark a rebellion: a re-birth.

Kaiyo stumbled a pace forwards, suddenly aware her convulsing body; arguing with her now jelly legs that soon buckled beneath her. Darkness swilled into her vision as her hand stretched forwards to the bandanna. Her bandanna. Her expression was wrought with sorrow as she whispered on her descent, 'Tatsu...'.

Her small frame dropped to the ground with a hollow thud, still and lifeless as the battle raged on within her very essence. Her mind over-loaded with information as it strained to sort the real and fake; the dreams and memories that seemed so comparable. For now, Kaiyo remained the weaker of herself- stuck in the shadows and depths of a soul that was not her own.

She sat bolt up, rubbing her head as pain collided at her temples. She croaked out her muttered words as she scrambled unsteadily up to her feet. 'Sorry, just lots of reiatsu down here' she smiled weakly to excuse herself; she wasn't even sure if she was lying anymore. It was a valid enough reason though, her injuries paired with her exhaustion and the monster spiritual energy down here- it was likely enough to make anyone feel week. She shuffled past the two men with her gaze low, retrieving her Zanpakuto as she fumbled around to tie it back at her hip.
