The light, at the edge (Auryuu, Tenma :P)

Days had passed, since the wide scale hollow attack. Auryuu was exhausted, as he stayed till the threat was fought off, and the survivors evacuated. Many died, few survived. The few that survived were lucky, and it made Auryuu cherish life even more. His squad had seen the event too, some members had also arrived to help with the relief effort. All he heard today was about the rumors, and how one of the shinigami apparently died. One he had known, but not too well. The man he remembered was a decent fighter, Auryuu was disapointed he was now gone.

Auryuu masked his sadness, taking him mind off of it. He was cleaning the outer barracks, in the hot sun. He scrubbed back and forth on the white building, cleaning it, then he took turns cleaning the grounds. Auryuu's squad was mixed about the death. Some acted happy, others acted gloomy, often this was how it always was. Auryuu thought to himself as he did every chore, as he blew past his morning. It was now noon, everything was done, and nothing was left to do for him.

The sun shined above as Auryuu's stomach growled. He ignored the hunger as he decided to take a stroll, by the squad 1 barracks. The barracks were about the same size as the 5th squad barracks, and almost identical. Shinigami walked everywhere, the squad 1 barracks was very alive. Auryuu touched the hilt of his sealed zanpaktou, feeling the comfort from it. He could feel his zanpaktou reacting to the sun. A light in the dark, kept Auryuu going, as he smiled faintly, walking closer to the barracks.

Tenma was meditating inside of the sqad 1 barracks. He had managed to fully recover from the hollow attack a few nights before thanks to the talents of squad 4. He was in the process of going toward his mind scape when he felt a familiar reiatsu, one he was beyond angry at. Auryuu Spire was coming into this barracks, and he intended to make him pay. He stood up to his full height and controlled his reiatsu, his hand held onto his zanpakuto ready to fight at a moments notice. He would make this boy pay for abandoning them until after numerous casualties had been caused. He felt his anger peak and knew he would make this quick. He went through the list of bakudo and hado he knew and decided to make this fight go toward his favor right off the get go.

He controlled his reiatsu, to an outsider it would seem as if it were normal, but laying beneath the surface was a controlled fury waiting to be released, waiting to be sated. He wouldn't kill the boy, no that was not to be his hate. Tenma unsheathed his zanpakuto and extended his left leg forward and held the blade straight outward. To anyone coming in it would look like he had just finished an exercise with his zanpakuto.

Auryuu put his palm on the squad barracks doors. Sliding the door steadily, making little noise, as he entered the large barracks, which seated many numbers. People chatted, as they stood around. Some even laughed, the setting seemed much brighter with this squad. Auryuu took a quick glance behind him, as he shut the sliding door, sealing the suns radiant light, which strained his eyes as he looked back.

Once shutting the door he aimed his eyes back to the members of the barracks, as he walked curiously around the large territory. He felt like an outsider even though they worked for the same force, and survived for the same people. He felt strange, a strange sensation made his heart flutter, a strange reiatsu hit him, obviously suppressed. Auryuu was not one to forget familiar reiatsu, but he didn't even remember who had owned this one. Auryuu looked around with anticipation, wondering who had possessed it. Also concealing his spiritual power, to his furthest extent.

He tried to blend in as he sat next to a couple of squad one member on a table. He gave off a short smile, and greeted them, as they simply greeted him back and returned to their conversation. Auryuu heard them talking, but began to zone out for a second still distracted by something.

Tenma saw Auryuu enter the barracks, as the bright shiny sun from outside, and the person who entered, were really hard to miss. He followed the shinigami closely until he stopped amongst a group of his colleagues, attacking while avoiding them would be simple. He noticed Auryuu was zoned out completely. Tenma quickly shunpo'd right behind Auryuu and placed a hand on his shoulder "Bakudo 2 Minor Seal!" He called as he activated the reiatsu sealing bakudo. He then immediately afterwards called out "Hado 30 Green Fire Execution!" And launched the green reiatsu point blank at the man.

The hado would not be anywhere near enough to kill him, damage him severely, sure. Tenma wasted no time in taking the gloves off as he raised his zanpakuto "Rend your enemies asunder Ryu Tensen!" He called as his sword transformed into a longsword with a motorcycle like gear-shift. He then let his true reiatsu show. The seathing hatred that had been hidden just below the surface. Everyone in the squad barracks ran away, those that knew him, ran farther. "Auryuu Spire, I will make you pay for causing the deaths of our fellow shinigami!" He called as he took a stance, ready for anything the boy could throw at him.

Auryuu felt the presence flare, as he felt a hand on his back, his head slightly turned. Auryuu was unable to react, but quickly shuffled out of the table and shunpo'd to the other side of the room, becoming a blur. Auryuu became clear as he stopped, seeing the the table get hit with the green fire, such a action was reckless with people from his squad sitting at the table. Auryuu didn't understand the man's intentions or reasons, but remembered atleast where he had met him. "You're from the hotsprings?, he said lightly, as a frown came across his face.

The man obviously had some sort of vendatta, and along with that was a danger to his squad while angry. Not a good combination to deal with. Auryuu focused for a second just prepping himself for battle as he closed his eyes for an instant. This was all he needed. Auryuu shunpo'd out of the squad barracks to the outside, deciding to limit causualtys as much as he could. Auryuu continued to focus his spiritual power, brewing it inside of him. As he attempted to store his energy, and break the kido casted onto him. He cursed under his breathe as he waited for the man, not even wanting to give the honor of revealing his shikai to the man. No one was even aware of his shikai. Itself his zanpaktou itself, which by now had been completely quiet, and showed no sign of activity, even as these actions un folded. Auryuu could sense a faint sadness curious about what it was about.

Tenma watched as the man shunpo'd out of the way of his hado but knew he couldn't cast kido at the moment. He shunpo'd after him, intent on capitalizing on the advantage and appeared directly in front of him. He then thrusted Ryu Tensen forward toward the boys stomach, knowing he would dodge, he waited for the slightest muscle movement and held out his offhand "Hado 23, 36 Pound Cannon!" He called as he launched the condensed air. Tenma then shunpo'd again and smirked as he held his hand up into the air "Hado 10 Rain of Pain" He focused some reiatsu to easily protect himself from the effect, however someone affected by the minor seal bakudo would be forced to choose between shunpo, and defending against the acidic rain. Either way it would greatly hinder his progress toward breaking the seal.

Tenma, then shunpo'd forward and held his hand in Auryuus face "Hado 6 Acid Splash" he called as the hado went into effect and a small orb of acid burst in the general vicinity of where Auryuus face was at the time. He then shunpo'd up into the cloud above him that was caused by the acid rain and looked down toward his opponent "Hado 2 Reel!" He called as he aimed the hado at Auryuu, he would then call out one of his favorite skills "Hado 21 White Lunar Spear Shot!" He called as he fired the blast of reiatsu at him, missing by a small margin "Kuso!" He cursed as his attack flew by Auryuu. It then however shot back toward him like it's namesake at full speed. Tenma then readied his defense for whatever Auryuu would throw.

Auryuu quickly reacted feeling a fierce wind before Tenma's strike came piercing through the air towards him. Auryuu shifted his hands fast pulling out his sealed sword, blocking the stab with the blade as he lifted the blade up instantly raising the mans sword, as he brought his to mid level. Auryuu did a swift flip as he watched the red blast of reiatsu almost graze him, the spherical ball flying past as he came to land on one foot shifting to one side after he landed the other foot on the ground. Auryuu shunpo'd away from the acid rain, still getting some on him, but as he shunpo'd most of it was left in the wind, the drops left to burn the ground.

Auryuu planned a counterattack as he shunpo'd behind the man, obviously being slightly faster as he studied the mans movements. His acid splash also missed as he had dodged the rain of pain. In moments Auryuu flashed behind the man his right leg landing close to the mans left leg, as he shunpo'd around the man. None of his attacks reached him, he tried to balance too many things at once, sometimes simpleness was easier. Something someone had taught him, when he used to ride that stupid skateboard.

Auryuu peered over the mans shoulder for a second watching the man's reel, and lunar spear shot, fall far from the target, accending to the sky, not familiar with the kido. Auryuu aimed a high kick at the man, raising his spiritual power, breaking the seal simultaniously. Auryuu talked in a calm voice as he raised his left foot at the man, still going for the high kick, "Bakudo 14, Hanzennaseigen..". His left arm shot out the kido point blank mere inches from the mans back. Suddenly he spotted a shining object, he quickly registered it as the spear. Auryuu nervously cancelled his kick dropping it to the ground as Auryuu's kido was still casted. Auryuu pushed himself up against the man, forcing his strength and weight onto the mans back hopefully making him fall over, which it probably would. Otherwise Auryuu would suffer a pretty bad reiatsu scratch.

Tenma saw the man shunpo and did the obvious reaction, shunpo away from his current position. He down onto the roof of a building, knowing Auryuu wouldn't dare shoot another kido at him for fear of damaging anyone inside. He waited for the man, intent on settling this quickly as soon as he imminently landed. The obvious choice at this point was to come down and fight him sword on sword. Tenma didn't think he'd win that battle, but once he landed, he would be more than able to use his own kido, as his skill with them was higher than average for a rank 2 shinigami. He held Ryu Tensen, ready to defend or dodge if the need arose.
He knew The White Lunar Spear Shot wouldn't damage him enough to win if it actually hit.

Auryuu stumbled just inches away from the lunar spear just in time, breathing heavily as it landed in the ground behind him, crushing the earth with it's force. Auryuu followed Tenma with his eyes, quickly preparing a little suprise for him, "Passionate Blaze", an orb quickly arose from his palm floating around his viscinity, as he focused an intense amount of spiritual energy as he landed. Auryuu slid his sword out revealing the sharp side of the blade as he ran his fingers down it revealing a pretty good amount of blood. Auryuu dropped his right hand sliding the sword back into it's sheath soon after Let my blood become my bow, let my breath become the mist, hado 14, blood arrow!, his voice rang as the bow and arrow formed in his hands. The touch of the weapon was really strange to Auryuu, as he pulled the arrow back creating a heavy tension on the string.

Auryuu released the arrow from it's strain, aiming it at the earth in front of him. The orb mixed with the mist that resulted, maximising it's effects by 30% as well as creating perfect cover, as it scattered reiatsu all over. Auryuu became invisible to the naked eye inside the temportary mist as he walked a few steps away, gathering himself, knowing that the mist would confuse the opponent for a few seconds. He finally got a chance to think about the man, what Auryuu had done to offend him, he thought it had something to do with him calling Tenma out over Shakaku, that was his best bet.

Auryuu took deep steady breathes, as he prepared himself gathering energy, while trying to generate some at the same time, with the rest he gave himself. Auryuu unsheathed his blade, with anticipation for the mans next move, as the orange mist, slowly began to disapate.
