Appearance: A four legged being with a humanoid torso covered in a black scorpion like shell, looking like a centaur covered in carapace. Protruding from its rear is a tail, not the one of a horse but rather one similar to the one belonging to a scorpion aswell, but not pointed upwards and lacking the stinger at the end. The humanoid torso mimics the appearance of an incredibly muscular, but still lean, human, only black and made of carapace scales, the arms leading down into hands with fingers ending in sharp tipped claws. At the top of the body lies the head and the shoulders, the latter being covered in massive metallic shoulderpads, dwarfing the head by comparison and the head itself taking the form of a white helmet with a t-shaped opening to it, revealing that it appears to be carried by merely darkness and on its temples protrude massive horns. Covering the muscular body however is a tattered and torn flowing black robe, draping over the creature to give it a far more mystical appearance.

Personality: Gouldo is a warped and vile creature, completely mentally attuned to the dark nature of his very existance as a hollow. He takes a sadistic satisfaction out of every injury caused, enjoys tormenting others, possesses a brutal love for fighting and holds compassion for nothing. There is no positive emotion within this dark shell, only a dark hatred for the living and a mind full of cruelty and anger.
History: Originally born the son of a poor man in a wartorn Europe, Gouldo's life was one completely lacking in anything resembling luxury, of even the smallest kind. Five years into his life his father was killed, having been unable to pay back a loan on time and was left with only his mother who shortly after abandoned him aswell, her profession as a common harlot having left her with many a bastard before, Gouldo was merely another for the dirty streets to consume. However he did not abandon life, clinging onto it by stealing and fending for himself by any other means necessary and by his fifteenth year he had managed to become a formidable man, malnourished but still formidable. By this time he was able to come into contact with a band of mercenaries and their captain who recognized his potential and gave him an offer, saying he would be given a job in the band if he was able to acquire his own gear by the end of one month. Originally he tried to do so by gathering money from theft but it did not take long for him to realize that it was a futile effort and coming up with a more efficient plan. He would rob a armsmith, providing himself with the necessary armaments he would require for the position of mercenary. His plan went awry however and it lead to him having to kill the blacksmith but he did manage to steal the weapons. After having secured the armaments however he became careless and when stealing food for the day he was caught, ending with him having his hand cut off. Returning to the mercenary band, presenting them with only one hand to work for them they were naturally reluctant to live up to their original offer, although that would be a bit mild. Gouldo was quick to prove himself however, showing himself capable by fighting with some of the soldiers of fortune and they ended up recruiting him despite lacking one of his hands. Life as a mercenary was hard work obviously but a far better one then what he had before, him quickly growing a fondness for battle and becoming a capable warrior, quickly becoming one of the bands most prominent.
By this point the thieving boy had grown into an ambitious dog of war, looking with envy at the captain, yearning for the authority that role held with it. To achieve his ambitions the man made dealings with an equally ambitious nobleman, offering assistance in acquiring the role of captain in return for loyalty for lesser coin to the noble himself. With the wealthy man's assistance the usurping was a simple job and his fellow mercenaries were brought to heel by remarkable force, driven to practical servitude for a meagre sum. In the service of the nobleman Gouldo proved himself a practical tyrant of war, driving his men ever onward for fear of violent retribution from him should they fail, his body and skills as a warrior by this point having become imposing enough to intimidate so many away from the thought of betrayal. Before long he was not only the captain of the mercenaries but also in charge of the noble's private forces aswell and eventually he was the very driving force behind every decision made by the nobleman, having gained such an iron grip on the soldiers and a loyalty through fear and hatred that he had become a warlord of enough power to terrorize his own patron and still retain the coin he was due. But of course eventually his reign would end and the beginning of this came when he became so mad with his own ambition and lust for war that he forcefully recruited every citizen of his patron's holdings and drove them to a war that did not exist, leading a bloodthirsty force of plundering across the land against towns and people from the same country, now simply fighting for the sake of fighting while feeding himself and his forces with everything they could find and turning those belonging to these places into mindless slaves for the horrid warmachine. It was only a matter of time however before he would face a greater force then he possessed and he and his warband was slaughtered until they all in the end turned against him and he died in a veritable sea of steel.
It would not be hard to imagine, for those who know about the spiritual existance, that the dark creature would also easily turn into a hollow in death. The monster in life quickly becoming a similar monster in death was a fitting punishment for the crimes he had commited, although it would be debatable if it truly was punishment. Gouldo and his newfound abilities cut a bloody swath all across the world, hunting spirits and avoiding shinigami over the course of hundreds of years, utilizing several tricks and feints he had learnt from his time in war in order to properly do so, finding his old tactics still very functional even in a world of spirits. As all hollow however he eventually felt the menos call, joining the ravenous horde in the carnage that is the transformation. But unlike normal hollow, he was not absorbed by the dark creation, being pulled away from the mass of monsters forming into one and in the process of being torn away from such an incredible energy was left in a deep slumber, the creature removed from the world for several centuries after until having awoken only recently, returned to once again wreak havoc on the world.

[Updated 9/7/11]Custom Hollow Abilities:
Overlord: His abilities involve the control of various minions of different types who will obey his every command, sacrifice their lives to him without hesitation and at times provide excellent comedic relief. If one is destroyed he can replace it using either his spiritual energy or by using a soul of any magnitude, from lowly human to hollow. These minions are hardly a big deal, serving mostly as distractions for Gouldo, but when all grouped up together they can do some damage, individually they are just a nuisance however. He can control fifteen minions to start and can control five more for every rank up. He has three different minion types to choose from, these are:
Brutes: Small, brown bipedal lizard, around 3'10, creatures with no real specific ability who are the melee fighters of his force, capable of swarming their opponents and quite sturdy, able to survive surprising amounts of force for their small stature.
Flamers: Living up to their name these minions are small genie-like fire creatures. They are immune to fire effects but weak to any other attack and are capable of lunging fireballs at their opponents.
Creepers: Just like the others these creatures are small, they are as black as the night and take a form similar to a crow, only rather then wings they have feather clad arms ending in sharp claws and their beaks are able to rip and tear at their enemy. Unlike the brutes they are very fragile, but they are sneaky and fast, able to turn invisible and sneak up on their target.
