Breaking the limit (Shikai: Happening in Rukongai)

It was late at night, Lavi had gone to sleep at the same time as Arawn, but he just could not sleep, he was feeling annoyed by what had happened earlier.
Lavi had found an open area in the Rukongai, he wanted to get his thoughts together, after his small snap back at the hideout, he just needed some time.
Lavi stood out in the open and looked up at the sky, it was crystal clear, the stars were so clear, and the moon crescent, he took in the scenery for a second before closing his eye, that’s when he heard a familiar voice “Lavi can I come out now” it was Haru, the little cat like person that had followed him before, he had almost forgot all about the little guy, Haru crawled out of Lavi’s pocket “Yea it’s okay for you to come out, you do not have to hide all the time, no one can see you after all” Haru climbed up to his shoulder “But what if they could, wouldn’t that be dangerous, then you would be exposed” Lavi gave off a small smile “Don’t sweat it Haru, I am sure everything is going to work out just fine” Lavi heard footsteps behind him “Is it really?” Lavi knew that voice right away, but why here, why now of all times Lavi thought to himself, he was getting closer to it, so why now, he quickly drew his blade to face the person “Why are you here now, leave me alone, I am getting the necklace for you, so just leave me alone already!” Lavi made his feet steady, last time he faced this person he was beaten without much trouble, but Lavi had increased his strength since then, maybe he could win here and end this nightmare, then return to seretei like nothing had even happened.
It was a foolish hope to have, but something had to push him forward, if not his killer instincts.
“You already exceeded the time limit by weeks now, it is too late for you to get it, so I am here to end you once and for all” The cloaked man drew his sword, Lavi was nervous about it all, but decided not to over think it, so he charged right at him, the cloaked man easily deflected the few first attacks, but Lavi did not give up, he just had to keep attacking, he would not go on the defensive, if he could keep the cloaked man on the defensive, he might have a chance “if you beg for your life, I may decide to give you more time” the man said “To hell with you, I will not beg for anything, I will defeat you this time, count on it” Haru had let go and was hanging in the air a little away observing, not sure what to do, holding the paw up to his head.
Suddenly during Lavi’s relentless assault his sword was hit away, and the man swung the sword out at him, Lavi was barely able to dodge the attack, and stepped a little back “You are still too weak, what makes you think you deserve to wield that sword?” the man said.
Lavi looked at his Zanpaktou from the corner of his eye, why should he have a reason to wield it, it was his after all, he did not need to justify himself towards someone like that.
“Like I would have to tell you” Lavi answered, but before he was even done, the man attacked “You lack goals, resolve and most importantly a purpose” Lavi was just barely able to block and get into a deadlock with his opponent “a purpose?” Lavi said a bit questioning, in an instant his sword was hit out of his hands and landed a bit away from him “Exactly without a purpose you are nothing, without goals you achieve nothing, and without resolve you can handle nothing” Lavi stood stunned for a second for his eye caught a glimpse of strength “You want a purpose from me, then I’ll give you one right now!” Lavi held out his hand to the side, it came natural “Haru come here!” Haru hurried over to Lavi, and as Lavi reached out to take hold of Haru, Haru transformed into a hammer, that was a bit bigger than Lavi “My purpose it to kill you!” Lavi shouted out and swung his hammer out at the person, who quickly dodged it “That is good enough for now I guess, I will be back however, and you better have that necklace by then” Lavi breathed heavily, it had been rough on him, but he had made some progress at least, and the hammer, it had to be his Shikai then, Lavi sighed in relief, and used the hammer as a support for a little while, however anyone that had watched the scene would only have seen Lavi battling the air, and not have seen him fight another person.

Description of released form: In its released form, the Shikai is a black iron hammer
Aside from a normal shikai however, when he lets go of his shikai, he does not have a Zanpaktou as normal, but instead the little spirit Haru that can transform into his zanpaktou, and move about freely, as a second personality to him, but can also leave his side and communicate with others.

It is its own free person in a way, but is ofcourse bound to Lavi, so should Lavi go and die, so would it of course.
However it does not become hurt because Lavi does, but they share a special bond that will allow them to know what each other are feeling.

Abilities:

Ability 1: (Rank 3 Required)
Description of ability: The Hammer can grow in size as well as getting smaller on command from Lavi, as the hammers size increases and decreases, so does it weight, but Lavi is unaffected by the weight of the hammer, as he it is his weapon.

Well the spirit is mostly just for my own enjoyment of having a double kind of personality born from inside Lavi, though not being the sword itself, but rather a fraction of his own personality that was cut off from him, because of his troubled mind and frustrations, and gained own physical form when releasing his shikai, because the amount of spirit pressure upon release, I can make it, so the spirit does not become the weapon, but rather is just a small familiar that follows him around.
and yes it the idea was for the handle to grow as well... I know this is almost a complete rip off from D.gray man, but I always ended up returning to this idea when I tried to change the shikai in other directions, going to change its other abilities tough, only the growing part that is taken from there.
