| Something Crazy - Part 6
Like nights before, Tatsuya could be seen at the sparring grounds training. He spent restless nights incorporating hand techniques before doing the same with kicks. Just like when he started adding punches, he had difficulties while performing kicks. He would usually trip and fall due to misplaced movements. In fact it took him much longer to incorporate kicks than it had to incorporate punches. Tatsuya had lost count of how many nights it took for him to make the kicks seem effortless through his technique. Right now as Tatsuya practiced, his movements were unbelievable. All of his training thus far had paid off as his movements blended seamlessly together into one continuous flurry of attacks.
Tatsuya punched, kicked, and slashed in rapid succession at what would eventually be his opponent. He continued on like that for another hour before taking a break. He grabbed some water and took a seat on the ground to gather his breath. “I’m almost there, just a little while longer.” He thought to himself as he drank his water. Tatsuya didn’t rest for long, just long enough for him to steady his breathing. He stood back up and walked back to the center of the field carrying his wooden sword. As he walked back, a breeze of cool air hit him. The weather was about to get colder. Tatsuya hated cold weather, he always felt as if it was harder to move.
Tatsuya focused back on his training, refusing to let something as trivial as cold weather to get in his way. He prepared himself as he took a breath before attacking with his sword. He swung his sword from his upper left to lower right before quickly spinning his sword into the air. Just as his sword was released, he threw a left hook to a reverse spin kick off his right leg. The instant his right leg touched the ground he brought his left hand across in a back fist followed by a right roundhouse kick. Tatsuya jumped into the air following his roundhouse kick and proceeded to grab his sword with his left hand in a reverse grip. He continued turning in the same direction while slicing through the air with his sword extended out before landing.
When Tatsuya landed he threw the sword up in the air before jumping and turning to his right, bringing his right leg across followed by his left leg in a double kick fashion. When Tatsuya landed he dropped down while continuing to turn to his right and swept his right leg across the floor. In a smooth motion he then lifted himself off the ground and proceeded to a jumping sidekick before jumping back and grasping his sword with his left hand in a traditional grip. He then swung his sword with both hands from his upper left to lower right and then back to his upper left before releasing his sword from his left hand and swinging it horizontally to his right.
As the sword finished swinging Tatsuya threw it in the air before punching through the air with a right cross. He turned to his left following the punch and with his left hand, threw a back fist followed quickly by an inside hook kick with his right leg. The kick was immediately followed by a jumping reverse spin kick with his left leg. As Tatsuya landed he grabbed his sword from the air with his right hand in a traditional grip. He threw it quickly into the air and turned back to his left. As he turned he grabbed the sword with his left hand in a traditional grip and slashed downward to his left before throwing it once again.
Tatsuya proceeded with a summersault kick before landing with his left knee and hand on the ground. He stuck his right hand into the air without looking up and grabbed the sword in a traditional grip. Tatsuya didn’t stop there however. He continued to practice different move sets as the night went on. Though the night was getting colder, he refused to let it stop him. Right now the cold was nothing to him as his determination was rock solid. His blood was boiling with red hot desire; the desire for “Something Crazy”.
