PostSubject: Isari Kimitaro (Shinigami)   Isari Kimitaro (Shinigami) I_icon_minitimeMon Aug 09, 2010 11:47 am

Name: Isari Kimitaro

Visual Age: 21

Actual Age: 45

Height: 5’9

Weight: 165 pounds

Gender: Male

Personality:
Isari is quite a quiet man by nature (though to some he can appear as rather warm and outgoing), he prefers solitude to being too exposed in his surroundings, tending to keep to himself. This by no means makes him a recluse though, it’s just personal preference, if needed, Isari will speak in groups and has an excellent sense when it comes to Team-work, though he does indeed prefer to work alone, he’s equally adept at leading. Though despite this, he doesn’t follow orders well as he tends to modify them based on what he believes, even if this means going against the orders of his captain (though he is seldom found out). Isari is quite dark by nature, possibly stemming from the fact that he doesn’t speak much about himself to others or even really interact with others on a deeply personal level, because of this it can become that people are wary of him, perhaps not a good personality trait for a Shinigami to have but Isari’s attitude is something far too intimidating for anyone to ever dare voicing that opinion to him. Isari also suffers from alcoholism, geared on by manic depression, once again not the best quality trait for a Shinigami, these two factors contribute heavily to the man that is ‘Isari’, it explains a lot more of what he does and why he continues to fight, unlike some where their will to fight stems from wanting to ‘protect’ or ‘save’ others, Isari’s stems from his want to get past himself and better himself, not stopping until he’s either; a) completely destroyed himself or b) pushed himself past everything that makes him who he is. Because of this want to better himself, Isari will never back down, no matter what the odds are.

Appearance:
Isari Kimitaro (Shinigami) Jaruka11
Isari’s appearance suits his training styles, he wears a long coat which drapes down to his heels, though, unlike in the image, he wears a shirt underneath the coat to cover his body in colder climates. His crucifix tattoo under his eye symbolises his religious side and the blindfold above it is constantly on, so that Isari never sees anything, he just feels it. Isari has trained like this since death and, since dying, he has never taken it off, meaning that he has become adept at fighting blind, making him a deceptively dangerous opponent to other Shinigami.

Sealed Zanpakuto:
Isari Kimitaro (Shinigami) Fantasy_Swords_Mithrodin_Sword__S_K
Isari’s sealed Zanpakuto is a thin, curved sword that is not made for power but rather speed, his sword allows him to follow through on attacks with amazing grace and precision, because of the light weight of the sword, it doesn’t hinder him or knock him off balance if swung too powerfully or too quickly, this is of great use to Isari and completes his ultimate objective of being as fast and graceful as possible, making Isari a deadly and formidable opponent in sword combat, though, because of his sword’s lack of size, he isn’t so good at using it for defence, so he instead relies on his speed and agility to see him through.

Skills:
Spirit power: 10
Speed: 15
Intelligence: 15
Fighting skill: 20

History:
Isari has had no major issues in his life as far as tragedy go, he had a fairly normal childhood but suffered at the hands of his father for many years until he was strong enough to fight back, meaning that from a very young age, Isari has been used to having to defend himself and learn how to fight back against people far larger and stronger than himself. When Isari hit his teenage years, he was bullied, once again having to learn how to defend himself against others and grow a thick outer-shell so that they couldn’t affect him in any way, teaching him to not rely on people or trust people as, he realised anything he told anyone would never remain a secret and… Anything he shared with anyone was not special or unique because everyone was the same, selfish, ignorant and most of all, they’re all liars. Because of these ‘revelations’, Isari has little trust or faith in people, during his life, every so often, he would allow people to gain his trust, reveal some of his inner-workings to them, tell them of some of his though processes. Ironically enough, Isari was proved right time and time again, no matter who it was or what they were like, his earlier revelations were always stuck to, reinforcing many of his beliefs (though sometimes adapted to fit evolving trends) and always teaching him that nobody is special or unique, something that comes into play in his beliefs on Shinigami and the different classes of which they can reach. Because of these reinforcing of beliefs, Isari became more and more secluded, deciding it’s better to let nobody in than having too deal with people on a daily basis, some may say that he almost got bored of people, bored of trying with them. Despite this, Isari will do whatever he can to help someone in need, opting to help people 9 times out of 10, unless that is, he dislikes the person or decides that they do not deserve redemption or help from their problem, condemning people to their own personal fate. After finishing College, Isari decided to spend a year in a Christian commune, deepening his faith and trying to find meaning in his own life, spending the entirety of that year without any contact with the people he used to call ‘friends’ or indeed his ‘family’. At the age of 19, Isari left the commune, dedicating himself to a life of helping others, travelling to other countries to be of as much help as possible, volunteering as a medical assistant in various countries and eventually becoming a fighter for a rebellion, with little training in arms combat, he specialised in stealth operations, working mostly at night with close-range weapons, assassinating hundreds of the government soldiers that the rebels fought against. After a year of mindless fighting, Isari retired into political activism, fighting not with swords or guns but with his mind, arguing against major world-leaders for the freedom of “his people”. Isari became too good though, a hit was placed on his head at just the tender age of 21, due to Isari’s history in assassination, he was more than prepared and ready to fight his way out of any problems he may of encountered, but, on the 24th of December, whilst speaking out in public against the wrongdoings of the Elite of this world, a activist, a friend of his whom was on stage with him, stabbed him seventeen times in the neck, paralysing him instantly, Isari was taken to hospital with severe wounds but unfortunately died at three minutes past three in the morning from blood loss, his death brought the rebellion to horrific new heights, Isari had had a noble death, he had died a martyr for his cause.

As a Shinigami, Isari decided to train by himself, wearing a cloak to symbolise his military history and takes with him a blindfold, tightening it around his eyes and disappearing to train, little is known about Isari’s training but one can assume it was harsh, lasting 44 years, but now, after such a great length of time, Isari has returned to the Shinigami, ready to take up arms for their cause are ready to once again fight for what he believes in.

Rp sample:
The sky of the Fey Lake is overcast, the summer season has drawn to an end and even the mighty trees themselves lay deathly still, no rustle from their shimmering leaves, no screams of children as they play in the lake, instead there is nothing but silence, interrupted by the occasional birdsong or the lapping of the gentle tide against the lake's shore.

As the day passes, a single, lonely, hooded man walks through the trees, eventually reaching the shore of the Fey Lake. Without a second's hesitation, he dips to the lake and peers out across it, running his hands through the water and closing his eyes as he does, letting out the smallest of breaths. The tranquillity of the lake seemed to have a considerable effect on the man, with his stature you would of expected him to have little respect for the land of which he walks on. As he looks across the lake through his broken fringe, he sees a small family of ducks crossing the river. The ducklings following their mother without any question or reason, most likely not even knowing why they were following their mother. The man slowly raises his hand from the water, pulling back his hood and taking a deep breath, filling his longs with the cool, crisp air that hovers over the lake. The ducklings had now successfully crossed the river, and, for a fleeting moment, the man seemed angry. The reason behind this was that he knew if either duckling had defected from the group, stood out of line and tried to go his own way... He would of died.

Such is the sickening nature of humans, the man knows this for he knows how humans truly are. All his life he has seen nothing but hatred for these creatures and felt nothing but contempt for their pathetic lives. The man's fist tightens as his anger wells up, the floor beneath him cracking slightly from the pressure of the man's own anger. Without warning a large gust of wind blows across the lake, sweeping the man's unkempt fringe across his forehead, as his hair moves he peers once more at the ducklings, now being cleaned by their mother, a smile cracks across the man's weather-beaten face as this happens, it was always a nice - though admittedly rare - treat to see a brighter side of life, a side that... Rewards good behaviour, rewards conformity and normalisation. For, maybe through this method of making everyone the same but more importantly making everyone afraid of stepping out of line, peace could be reached. Peace.... Through tyranny.
