| The many lights, the bustle of the citizens, the constant danger of something crawling out from the nearest alley way. Tokyo was surely the worst place to be for a shinigami. Hollows never really bothered this town, but occasionally one will travel here, the smell of souls attracting them. And it wasn't for nothing, massive amounts of souls lived were still in the city, as dozens of people died each day. But, it wasn't like the soul societey ignored Tokyo, quite the opposite, actually. They usually sent dozens of shinigami to patrol the city every day. Such a mass of souls was worrysome for the Gotei 13.
If a hollow were to remain undisturbed in this kind of enviorment, they would surely progress to adjuchas in a matter of days. Which, needless to say, was just about the worst case scenario; Saroki, however, was just out on pleasure. She was stitting on the roof of a eleven-story building, just finishing up with lunch. The girl stood up, looking down at the people below, they looked like ants to her, but then again they pretty much were ants compared to Shinigami.
The girl could feel a ominous pressence in the area, but she couldn't be bothered, she wasn't worried. A shinigami patrol would've probally taken care of any stray hollow.

| The sweet air of japan; meant to relax oneself within its technological advances, abundance of people and of course -- food. Many small beings compared to he who was dwelling within the darkness resided there. Hours upon hours passed that an unusual number of souls were being devours; one after another they disappeared from one particular sector. For weeks had Raikou been sneaking around and trying to fill that void. The one that could not be healed since his heart was gone.
After awhile of avoiding those weird spiritual beings with more spiritual pressure than he whilst feeding; Raikou caught the scent of something that he desired. Something that he needed to check out as it was the spiritual pressure of something new.
He darted and dashed towards the spot not knowing that it could lead to his death. From building to building did he crash and bound until he reached the base level of the tall structure. Those crimson eyes gazed upwards until he motioned himself to the side of the construct and hid within the darkness.

| Saroki could feel it clearly now, this pressence, this --- Evil, it could only be that of a hollow, but not like any other she had sensed. It wasn't mindless, it was. Different, and this, despite all other frightening aspects, was the most shocking; The girl could feel it close in on her, untill, it stopped. It was somewhere in her sector. Saroki was still supressing her reiatsu furiously, so, no hollow should've found her, but, it was usless to deny it. There was something around her, some hollow. With a more ravenous appetite than any she had felt before.
The girl spun around, not bothering to draw her zanpakuto. The girl looked into the many patches of darkness around her, as well as the many roof-tops surrounding her. Saroki was on her guard, her sharp eyes darting to every location that this hollow might've been hiding, and then.
"..."
The girl saw a pair of crimson eyes, faint, but glowing. The girl focused her eyes on the pair of eyes, bending over and walking a few feet towards them. She didn't know if this was her mind playing tricks on her, or whether this was the actual hollow itself.

| Breathless, Silent... The signs of a hunter altogether sneaking up on its prey or luring it towards him. That lengthy tongue trailed across the teeth of its mask as the female neared. She seemed delectable -- so much so that Raikou just wanted to pounce and eat the female. But, his eyes caught hint of another existence per say. Those crimson eyes darted to the weapon then back at her with one swift motion. Was she one of those he was avoiding this entire time? How could it be? She was different. Those animalistic tendencies of his were catching up to him as he almost pounced but immediately closed his eyes to make it seem like he was nothing but an illusion.
The light accumulation of spiritual energy within that space was surely going to be noticed. Silently he was charging up somewhat of an energy blast; one forced out through the darkness that could power his escape from this woman. Raikou was also being wary because for some reason, he assumed if that blade were to touch him, then he would be gone as fast as he came into this plane.
She was far more powerful than he, that would be his downfall if he happened to slip up.
Now he just waited for her reaction while in a state of silent pouncing for if she tried anything. Raikou was truly the silent hunter.

| Saroki suddenly saw the ominous eyes move, the shock made her jump a bit. But the eyes faded, perhaps it truly was her imagination -- Darkness has a weird way of bending it's around objects and shadows, using dim light to further the effects. Saroki looked deeper into the corner of darkness, untill her nose was almost touching with the hollows mask. But then, she backed way, seemingly given up. But it was quite the opposite; Saroki knew Raikou was there, and was sure that if she gave him the opportunity, he'd attack her without a second though.
But, on the contrary, this was what she was hoping for. If he were to ambush Saroki, she would be able to counter with relative ease; Now, to put the plan into action. Saroki spun around, facing the opposite direction of Raikou. She started walking away, steadying her hand.
She'd have to be able to draw her zanpakuto on a split seconds notice while keeping herself unsuspicious beforehand. This was truly a tough thing to do, and in truth, she was putting herself at risk just by not attacking head-on.

| A very smart girl we have here; those ruby eyes of his half mooned open to gaze upon her form. Everything she was doing: Her movements, her stance, her demeanor. Raikou wasn't quite all well in telling every possible human aspect but the one thing he could determine was that she knew -- he knew that she knew he was within the shadows from how close he was. It wasn't that hard to determine by the near brushing of his mask and jumping at it. Those were the two things he sensed while his eyes were closed. The energy finally filled his stomach until it was entirely full. That hidden reiatsu was now sealed from vision and senses by only a bit. There was an exception for when Raikou breathed.
That only happened once however and after his next step he threw his head back and closed his eyes as quickly as they had opened and upon the next movement, he dropped his head down and forced that reiatsu out of his maw in the form of a sphere; keeping some inside just in case she dodged and moved out of the way.
Raikou darted to the right to the end of the building after the blast was shot and after the outcome was to be decided by his actions. Those ravenous eyes, devilish claws -- He was not some typical hollow but one who had a future. One which could only be determined by his future decisions.

| Saroki could feel the sudden increase in the pressure around here, if only for a second. She spun around as quickly as she felt the spiritual pressure spike -- Only to see a sphere flying towards her, it was a super condenced reiatsu orb, something of the likes most low ranking hollows used as a ranged attack. Saroki focused her reiatsu into her right hand, jabbing it into the orb, and then, she grabbed it. Saroki removed the cap from her reiatsu, letting it flow out around her.
Saroki started to convert the orbs reiatsu into nothingness, it was finished in a few moments, but, she knew that if she had not reacted so quickly; It could have very well injured her, not badly, but injured nevertheless. Saroki shifted her gaze to Raikou, whom of which was on the other side of the roof. Saroki's eyes were frightening, and she, herself, was much like a hollow. Considering her shocking love for battle.
Saroki shunpo'ed towards Raikou, arriving right infront of him in three split seconds. The fierce girl then performed a quick front-flip, then attempting to bring her right foot down upon Raikou's head with the force of a stick of dynamite.

| Twas truly a shocking experience to see a 'human' move that fast in front of him -- let alone block the full force attack. Natural effects came into play once her form came in front of him however; his back naturally moved itself back in the form of staggering. "What are you...?" he spoke to himself as he jumped back within the same moment of staggering. That deadly kick skimmed across his mask but he still felt it and flew back farther than he had intended to go in the first place.
What was all of this? She could move fast, she could attack with such a great force. No, she was most certainly not human and with that spiritual pressure and pigmentation around her form which was faint to his eye; he determined that she was far from a human. "What....are you?!" That time he asked in a louder tone and basically growled the entire sentence.
Those scarlet eyes of him showed great irritation with the girl. What was she going to do? Why did he feel the need to attack her so badly? What was truly so alluring? Raikou would not figure that out anytime soon but was sure in the fact that he would find out before battle's end.

| Saroki was a bit surprised that this hollow actually dodged her attack, even if it was unsteady, for such a weak hollow it was a good achievment. She smirked playfully, almost as though this hollow was becoming her play toy. She chuckled slightly, almost mocking Raikou. "I'm sorry, I dont't give out personal information to hollows!" She shouted out towards Raikou; She waited, raising her hands up into a defensive stance.
She was amused, to say the most. Hollows usually said the same thing Raikou said when they fought Saroki, although alot of them couldn't speak in the first place -- But she figured if they COULD speak, they'd probally say the same thing. The girl continued to stand still.
Even though this hollow was alot weaker than her, she wasn't going to take any chances. She couldn't; If she did, it would likely bite her on the ass later, one way or the other. The devious girl alternated her weight on her feet, making sure she was light on her feet. She wasn't about to get mauled to death by some hollow wolf.

| Well it didn't seem in the first place like Raikou wasn't an ordinary hollow. Some hollows COULD speak and that was pretty much a fact from the past that does not need to be explained again. Raikou happened to be one of those hollows; a light snarl came from him as he took one step back for good measure. That taunting voice of hers and that demeanor made him simply want to rip her to shreds and make sure there was absolutely no part of her left in this world.
That however, wasn't going to happen. Raikou knew she was far stronger and one stupid move could and would get him killed. A light stream of wind was entering his maw and heading down his gullet into his stomach. A different form of blast was going to be fired this time; Raikou's own move: Sombra Raya. At that time, all that could have possibly been told was that he was inching himself backwards and gaining a slight bit more reiatsu within his form with each step he took.

| Saroki examined her opponent carefully, waiting for some sort of fluxuation in movment, or reiatsu. If any sign was given to her she would attack, and this time, she wouldn't go easy on Raikou. Saroki could feel Raikou's spirit power change, not by much, but it got slightly stronger. Saroki squinted her eyes and looked hard at the hollow. Was he going to use the same technique as before? Nonetheless, it was time to bring the attack to him.
Saroki shunpo'ed towards Raikou, making sure to sidestep every other step, as to perhaps dodge any incoming attacks. As Saroki approached closer to Raikou, she began to feel his reiatsu grow more, it was now a bit more obvious. She didn't have much time left. The girl skillfully shunpo'ed to Raikou's left, aiming a jab at his neck, then shunpoing to his left, in mid-air. She performed yet another front-flip, bringing her right leg down onto Raikou's middle back. Attempting to perhaps break a bone or two. Next, she shunpo'ed above Raikou.
Now, Saroki drawed her zanpakuto, a great amount of reiatsu flowing out in the open terrain. Saroki attempted to thrust her sword into Raikou's neck as she fell down towards him.

| Wow, was she fast and strong. Raikou knew that she moved far too fast for him to dodge the jab that moved him over a bit and caused him to growl. All that spiritual energy slowly stopped forming from the relentless attacks. Now it came to the kick that was aiming at Raikou's back; he sure as hell couldn't dodge it in a minute sense but could at least motion the damage elsewhere. After he noticed the female disappearing once move, Raikou naturally looked upwards and tilted his body -- the strike caused him to growl within pain as he was laying against the ground with immense pains,
Now even less of that spiritual energy was within his stomach; not enough to fire a Sombra Raya anyhow but enough to shoot a similar blast to earlier. With a cringing pain as the female was having her downfall -- or rather as she shunpo'd upwards. Raikou used what was near the last of the spiritual force he had within him and shot a blast against the roof of the building. The already cracked surface due to the impact he had with the ground caused it to cave in basically and make way for an escape.
His spiritual energy was very low at this point; Raikou was way in over his head as he struggled to stand from under the debris. But, he must; there was no other choice. If the woman hadn't noticed his movements through the floor if her move hadn't been fast enough to slice his neck. Raikou would have forced his exit through the opposite end of the nearest room to the alleyway and once again mixed with the crowd. However, there was a slight trail of blood that came from him if she did decide to follow the poor hollow.

| Saroki's eyes widened, this hollow was clever, perhaps even more clever than Saroki -- Using his enviorment to his advantage, something 2nd squad valued. Saroki was burried under the vast amount of concrete, it wasn't enough to injure her too bad, but damn did it slow her down.
The girl soon cleared her way out of the rubble, quickly looking around for Raikou, nothing. But as she examined the now destroyed room further, she could clearly see a trail of blood: A clever smile appeared on her face, as she began to follow the hollows trail of blood, it was soon apparent that he had escaped into a alley way. The girl sighed.
This wasn't going as planned, and she couldn't let this hollow escape. The girl jumped out of a window, and into the alley way, it was hard to find him, among all of the other people. But it didn't take too long to trace down such a obvious reiatsu signature.

| The shadows engulfed his presense as Raikou moved inbetween the cluttered peoples. It was tiring doing such a thing whilst in a fit of pain from crashing through a roof; he stopped within a place of seemingly moderately strong reiatsu readings; that is where he caught his breath. That female was sure something and he knew she was trailing him. He had to regain some of his composure and fast by how fast that female was approaching.
His chest heaved as he began taking in reiatsu with each breath then arched his head up into the air within the middle of the crowded street. The roar bonded throughout the city to show his location to the female. Raikou was now ready and waiting for her to come get him. The blood dripping from his maw had now faded as his tongue licked most of it off.

| Saroki dodged and weaved through the many people, she was getting a clear reiatsu trace, until -- It disappeared. So suddenly, it just vanished. To say the least, Saroki was confused; Had a shinigami patrol wandered nearby, and had perhaps overpowered the hollows own reiatsu?
Saroki cursed quietly to herself, her voice overflowing with annoyance: The girl sprinted further into the alley way, untill, a glowing light appeared. It eminated reiatsu, there was no doubt about it: It was Raikou. Saroki immediatly dodged to her right, running on the nearby wall. Then, suddenly, a ear-shattering roar erupted in the nearby area. Presumably from Raikou.
Saroki hopped down from the wall, knowing that the hollow had yet to fire his weapon. The girl held her zanpakuto firmly infront of herself, ready to either dodge, or block his attacks.
From what she could tell visually, he was badly injured, but he probally knew he couldn't escape unless he were to throw Saroki off. And it would alot of creativity in this situation.

| Crash! Bang! Boom! Those are the sounds that were to occur within this small space. Not much to shunpo except above or run along the walls and barely touch his sides. It was going to be quite a problem for the female to touch him within this alley. The reiatsu that was being contained within his stomach was now strong enough to see emanating through his maw. He was sapping it from the area around him. It was like nothing was around him besides those he ate earlier.
Within his mind, it was like he was swallowing them all once more. This time it was going to be three spheres but not in an order she'd expect. First Raikou fired a blast at the side of the wall above her head then immediately in front of him to bring those billowing clouds of dust before him for cover, then oddly enough one just above him in a semi- diagonal path. If she it was not intercepted then it would more than likely causing the wall of the building to collapse and anyone within it to be damaged.
What a choice for this Shinigami; either come and kill this hollow or save those of more importance. At least one-fourth of those would become pluses while the others would most likely end up at the Rokungai soon enough. It was nearly time for Raikou to depart anyhow. That faint sense of the other hollow who had entered this world was trailing away.
"Little time to play" He spoke as the heavy amounts of dust nearly covered his escape. If she happened to find some way to attack; Raikou would try his best to jump up and behind the wall that was soon completely shrouded with dust. His reiatsu reading was really weak now and such a distance gain was going to make it hard for the female if she didn't either strike then and there. Heh, what was going to be her choice?

| Saroki gasped, her eyes widening as she snapped her head up above her. Debris was falling from the building, and there was no way she could stop it. The girl clenched her teeth, clearly in a state of distress. She focused her energy into her zanpakuto, waiting for the last possible moment. And then.
Saroki swung her zanpakuto upwards, sending a nearly invisible wave of reiatsu towards the rubble. It flew up into the air, surely changing it's trajectory drasticly. These people were safe, for now. But it wouldn't last even for a second. The hollow vanished from her sight, shrouded in a cloud of dust. Saroki cursed out to herself, she wasn't in a good situation, this was too akward.
The girl saw a burst of light hit yet another section of the building, she looked back at the hollow and narrowed her eyes, making a slight hiss. This hollow was sick, not like she didn't expect this kind of tactic, but. It just wasn't right, it was her weakness, you could say.
The girl shunpo'ed over to the falling debris, catching nearly all of it, not letting any of the big pieces of concrete fall. The girl held it up with all of her might, her arms and legs shaking under the immense weight. The girl shifted her eyes back towards Raikou, full of hatred and anger. They were terrifying.

| The dog-like hollow smirked and licked his lips slowly whilst looking over at the struggling female. Poor, poor girl; she was caught between a rock and a hard place...literally. Raikou seemed to be laughing for a time before he turned towards Saroki crouched down on the wall. It eyed the other building beside her and decided to fire several small spheres across the top and bottom of it.
The rubble ended up being small but enough for it to cause damage to those inside as the upper and lower sections seemed to be falling inward while the middle section was falling outwards towards Saroki. "Heh, should of answered." Raikou spoke one last time within a smug tone before Garganta was opened on the other side of the wall; a menos type slowly slipped out and as that happened; Raikou jumped back and entered the dark portal to Heuco Mundo. Now there was only a dilemma since it was nearly impossible for Saroki to save those innocents and herself.

| Saroki felt such contempt now, felt so much anger and hatred -- But also regret. That she didn't finish this hollow off earlier, and now it came back to bite her on the ass. Literally. The girl could feel beads of swet roll down her forehead.
As soon as the hollow had left, the girl threw the rubble from her back, into the nearby streets. Then, she shunpo'ed towards the falling building. The girl focused all of reiatsu, charging her body up with it. Then. She shunpo'ed all around the building, unleashing a deadly assault of slashes and thrusts alike.
Within seconds the building was all but a falling mass of rubble, but it wasn't enough, next, Saroki released all of her reiatsu into her surroundings. The sudden spike in spiritual pressure caused the building to all but become dust. And since it was in foreclosure, noone was inside. Hopfully.
The girl hopped down to the ground, her eyes flashing towards the Menos. Figuring that the patrols would get it. The girl sighed, sitting against a nearby wall. The ambulance and police had arrived, the sirens not helping her already stressed mind. She shrugged -- She just wanted some down time now...
