Name: Nikolai Ivanov
Age: Looks to be in his 20's, actual age... I dunno, 200-ish?
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 94 lbs
Gender: Male
Personality: Nikolai is a normal guy in the sense of emotions. When he's happy, he'll act happy, and when sad, he'll seem quiet and depressed. Normally, he tends to be on the quiet side, so where some people's excited is jumping around and whatnot, Nikolai's excited could be as simple as a grin. He doesn't speak much, either, he always chooses his words carefully.
Appearance: Nikolai is an average height, skinny-as-shit Russian man. He has dark black hair and matching dark brown eyes. He has a cheery face that usually has a smile on it. He often sports a black ball cap, with a red equal sign (=) on it's front. As to his clothes, he just wears the standard Shinigmai uniform, which hangs on his form as if it's far too big for him due to his skinny frame. He prefers them loose instead of tight as a simple personal preference. His frame is more 'bony' then muscular, his skin and muscles stretched across his bones to a point where someone looking at him could easily see each individual bone.
Sealed Zanpakuto: Nikolai's sealed sword takes the form of a Russian Tessak, which is basically a curved broadblade, kind of like a thin claymore with a curve...
Oh screw it, here's a picture.
There's a hilt too.
Each character gets 60 skill points to assign to either:Spirit power: 5
Speed: 30
Intelligence: 20
Fighting skill: 5
The idea behind these stats is basically a super fast, Kidou based power house, who'll basically need to finish his opponents off fast. His fighting against hollows will be almost entirely hit-and-run, and sparring against other Shinigmai will basically become dodging practice while trying to spout out a few chants.
History/Background: Nikolai has no memory of his life on Earth. Based off his accent and name, he's decided he was Russian, however, beyond that, he knows nothing for sure. His time in the academy was spent mostly alone, due to Nikolai's quiet personality and the competition between students. Nikolai exceeded ahead of his class in Kidou almost effortlessly, but any bigheadedness that caused was quickly put down in sword practice, where the best he could do was dodge hits, until a single blow would take him out. During this time, he quickly became very good at dodging.
Rp sample: Nikolai's gaze slowly transitioned from black to fuzzy, and then slowly focused. He realized he was laying down, and the only view he had was of the wooden beams that made up the ceiling. After a start, the present cam back to him. He was in the dojo, in the middle of a spar, and apparently had just got knocked one over.
"Ivanov! On your feet! You'll never be any good in a squad if one blow can knock you out of the fight!" The harsh voice of the instructor prompted Nikolai to get up quickly, hastily grabbing the sword laying next to him.
The instructor gave Nikolai an approving nod. "Ok! You two, go again. I'm gonna have the two of you go a few more rounds before we're done." Nikolai looked at his opponent and grimaced. The man's muscles were bulging, almost the exact opposite of Nikolai. Now he could see why one blow had laid him on his back.
"Ok.... Fight!"
The man charged at Nikolai before he had a chance to react. He quickly got into a defensive stance, and managed to block the blow, a painful ringing shaking through his hands as he did.
Thinking fast he jumped to his left and rolled forward, behind his opponent. "Bind the wretched dog! Sai!" Nikolai yelled pointing at his enemy. The man turned around and was preparing for another swing when the attack hit him. He dropped his sword and instantly his hands were behind his back.
Nikolai walked up to him and tapped his forehead with the blunt of his sword. "So... do I win?"
The instructor regarded them. "Well I guess. But your technique sucks, if someone as strong as me hit you like that, block or no block, you'd be right back on your ass." He said. "But... well, not bad."
Nikolai grinned, wins for him were rare. After bowing to his opponent, he left the dojo, feeling that it was a great day to be graduating from the academy.
