| Shinigami Name: Isame Kitsu Age: 240/19 Height: 5'10 Weight: 65kg Gender: Male Personality: More diverse than any personality could handle, his mentality changes to compliment the moment. One could say he's a master of adaptation and a true illusionist but more or less it borders with devastating perceptions of actions and environments. It's very unlikely that he acts out of character. Just as his thoughts, he flows in the stream of the moment, observant and always calm, taking chances when he sees one even without thinking. In the roles he plays, his job, he gets too absorbed to let something distant slip past his view. One could say he’s cocky, rude and overconfident…yet not much of a fighter. His skill lies in the shelves of knowledge he so dearly yearns to expand in each situation at hand. In his head, it matters not if someone’s strong or agile, all there is to him is mental flexibility. Adding to that – it takes a lot of effort to raise up in his eyes, some even say it’s impossible. Though that may appear a bit discouraging and annoying at first, the benefits of being in his presence sure are diverse. At a certain time one could enjoy the melody of his verses, at others – hold heated discussions about life and beauty but mostly have a coach to tell you how to handle situations. Chances are you won’t be able to get anywhere but an illusionary friendship but that’d still appear quite real. Furthermore, as a self-proclaimed scientist his interests are laid in inventions, physiology, abilities and technology. Kitsu likes to understand how things work, much alike a mad man. In a state of curiosity his ability to act rational somehow fades away and lets his superiority complex loose for everyone to savor. Still, just like a child, he gets annoyed quickly and holds grudges, likes freedom and rarely follows any orders, living for the day, taking in everything he can, believing in himself and fearing nothing and no one. Appearance: Before you stands an average at size young individual with a strong stature and what appears to be a decently formed body. That much one can make up when looking at his back. In an approach to him from the distance, his appearance slowly shifts into reality and through his motions, it becomes clear that he's actually quite frail for it to be any good. His turning face strikes one into a slight state of shock as the long strains of hair that run along its sides move back, his pale skin whose color almost flows into a gray tone being the source of that moment of fright. But as its whole comes completely in view, that feeling morphs into compassion. The black, almost void-like eyes suck you into their sea of worries and before you know it, you're already knee deep in pity for his illness. But his facial features do not end with his eyes or his skin. Upon his forehead, like a tiara, lay a dozen vertical stigmata, carefully embedded into his skin, though barely visible due to the veil-like front of his hair. Past his eyes, along his pale cheeks and further down, his mouth opens up to say something and during that time a weak pink color briefly manifests as a sign of doubt. His words sound smooth but energetic, the lightness of his motions adding to the raising suspicion until it becomes impossible to tell which is true and which is a lie. Sealed Zanpakutō:

History/Background:
In the beginning, his past life, Kitsu was raised in Okinawa as the son of a shipwright on one of the black fleet ships and a poor, yet distinctly beautiful young clothes washer. His birth was not a planned one as the couple soon after their little affair split up – one back to his homeland and the other – into slavery for a strict and harsh landlord where she gave birth to the half asian half caucasian boy.
From early on he was teased and beat up due to his pale skin and dirty white hair. His agemates feared contact with him despite the friendly aura he gave off. So slowly his inability to socialize brought him to his first true calling – the art of cooking. With time he rose up to honor the family name of his mother with praises and soon after even a house of their own. Despite his young age, the fourteen year old lad handled quite a well kept shop in the suburbs of the city.
His curiosity of alluring the senses rose with every passing day, enfolding his potential with every meal…until finally entered the world of alchemy. The devotion to his customers simply had taken over his mind. He lived to bring each and every hungry being the joy of a tasty meal. That, though, only lasted a couple of years. At the age of seventeen his virtuous cooking skills fell victim to jealousy and, deemed a sorcerer, he was burned alive on display for everyone to see.
Once on the other side Kitsu sought answers about the world he now lived in. His mind couldn’t rest, nor his feet. In a constant struggle to absorb more and more knowledge he became a glimmering light of potential in the eyes of Soul Society, soon to enter the world of the shinigami as a cocky young student. There he managed to meet a handful colleges he would aid and somewhere in the future watch as they become fine captains.
The student had lived through quite a bit of memorable events, left the academy and become part of the 13th protection squad as a low ranked shinigami. His duty there was to research physiology and psychology as well as the arts of kidou, being part of a small group of scientists. And as time passed by and his presence became more obvious to the captain, he made his way through the division in what seemed to be a flash. Don’t get it wrong – he didn’t just sit in a laboratory all day and night. There was more to him than the glasses and the coat suggested. Whenever the chance, Kitsu took the opportunity to aid the shinigami at the front and collect samples.
His zanpaktou found him unworthy time and time again, leading to many annoying power losses, memory losses – you name it. Recuperating after each one of them strained him a lot. He questioned his ambitions, his way and even joined forces with a hollowfied captain in order to find his true self, leading himself to the final encounter with his zanpaktou spirit, spending nearly a hundred years sealed inside a crystal, battling against it, learning from it, being reborn – powerless, forgotten, alone but joyful of the new chance in his reach.

As a small drop, a tear stretched out into a steam along the boy's smooth childish skin the big eyes disappeared for a moment and he could feel a piece of meat leave the integrity of his body but the effects of the stunning presence that the girl was giving off had him feel but the slightest changes in his body or in other words, the agonizing pain that would've followed such an injury had become nothing more than just a bleeding scratch. The girl herself, from what his eyes could barely observe, was feasting upon her new meal, more intrigued by it than from the back of the teacher. And who was to blame her? Fresh meat from animals at a certain youthful age tasted the best. Well, unless it was salted and dried aand nevermind...
That truly frightening event, though, actually brought Eslin down to earth and faced with the facts. If she was a zombie, he'd become a zombie, too. At least he could do something before he took his life away that could help some other adventurers around survive the encounter with this one. His steady arms brought themselves before his body and he just went into a weird little stance that he'd picked up some time in the hakuda training room, slowly motioning towards the floor like a snake. Certainly not the best choice versus what he could categorize as a neko but still something he wanted to try out before he could feel himself lose control.
To the little female the slithering boy seemed quite inferior to keep track of. All she cared about was the piece of meat she was eating and, of course, not letting the source of it get away. As it seemed, both tasks on her to do list were completely crossed out. Now if only her teeth had been sharper and her jaw stronger, more of that delicious human meat would have been flowing down her throat but that was just too much to ask for.
The girl's eyes suddenly moved along with her bloody right hand. Eslin's approach to her and his strike to the side of her neck had quickly fallen into the tight embrace of her fingers, his own having reached so close to her skin yet so far from the goal. Before he knew it the blood drooling mouth made its way onto the boy's fingers ready to bite them off, yet thanks to his other hand he had somehow managed to loosen her grip and save what he still needed to get her harmless again.
After the failed attempt she went back to eating up the little that remained in her left hand, making a suggestive expression towards him, making a shiver run down his spine. Maybe it was just the rosy color of the blood smudged all over her face but it looked like she was blushing. It was then when he firstly thought about what human guts tasted like, a thought even scarier than the look of a zombie “blushing”. N-not that she didn't really look cute...Maybe before she became like this she was quite the eye catcher or something like that.
It was no use, he couldn't focus on beating her. Whatever he tried was rendered useless with a simple turn of the eyes. But wait, why was he blushing, too now? Had he gone drunk from all those intimidating looks she was throwing at him each time he tried something?
Before he knew her arms had clutched around his neck uncomfortably and her bloody tongue was swirling around his gum and tongue as if she had overheard the ponderings in his head. Her body was still warm and beneath the stench of raw meat her scent was human but he was still quite unaware of some of his senses. The risen confusion and denial over what was happening deepened that state even further. It wasn't until she started touching him naughtily that he caught the obvious. As a matter of fact a while had actually passed and since he hadn't turned into a zombie something should've rang in his head sooner or later.
The silence that had overwhelmed the passing wind had stretched through the time, the time that the horrible little lady had taken herself to enjoy the softness of the newling student thoroughly, abusing the fragile state that she had put him in herself. His eyes were barely staying focused, blur filling itself into them from the edges in a slow manner. Even his hands had been close to letting their guard down. Just a little longer, he thought, just a little and this strange feeling of pleasure would come to a climax and if his body hadn't given up completely until that moment, he'd try and use all that was left to at least injure her.
But the chances of that happening judging by the way she took her time with every little touch were more than low. All that he could do was talk with her. He really didn't want to be eaten while he was still alive.
“H-hy tho...you” his weak voice tried making itself appear under the grip of her tasty fingers on his tongue “hhy tho you...tho thith?”
The fingers let Eslin's tongue retract into his mouth, aiding his jaw to stop the oozing fluid from leaving before she stood up, the loss of support letting the defenseless boy slowly drop to the ground as her bare feet gracefully followed the clearance to the lifeless body of the “suicidal” teacher that laid at its end. Her sharp nails began digging into the open wound in his back for what seemed like an eternity until her palm was filled with stinking guts that she would be feeding herself and the little fool with and she realized that it wouldn't be enough. Another painfully slow moment of motionless observation passed before Eslin's eyes while the bloody cannibal carried the meat over and took his head into her lap, pulling him by the ugly accessory around his neck.
This time around the stinky meal stuck in his mouth had a different taste. Well, yeah, it had to, it wasn't his own. The thought was disgusting but the presence of the cute girl he was resting upon made it somewhat bearable, even if he couldn't move his jaw and she had to chew it for him. It was like an indirect kiss, he thought...or at least wanted to think only to make the fact that he was eating another person's meat justified. Being so weak...he couldn't forgive himself.
When the gooey substance made its way down his throat her palm wandered along his bare chest and laid rest upon his stomach, playfully swirling over its surface before sinking into the boy's wound. Hadn't she figured out already that he couldn't feel it? No, it wasn't that. It was like...it was like she was burning it. But with her reitasu? Was that even possible? It sure looked like it was. Strange, so those were some reiatsu related skills, well, maybe kidou, too. His presence in the academy hadn't lasted long enough for him to have taken part in any of those lectures and on top of all, there was still that collar around his neck preventing him to lash out his reiatsu ( not that much of it was left but still).
And with the talk about collars, this one sure didn't look very well maintained. The way 'Slin had been training it made the condition of its capabilities doubtful. Even the look of it didn't reassure – there were dents and scratches going left and right, blood and having sunk into them from training and these not-so-random encounters during the previous...what was it, month? All in all, ugly and seemingly useless, though for a students it was doing its job just fine. To the girl, though, it looked cute and fitting. It made her feel like some sort of mistress owning a pet slave.
When the wound on her treasured new toy had closed she didn't hesitate to lick her fingers clean, still finding joy in the taste of the boy's blood. To think that an innocent looking young girl could be this scary and such a pervert would have never crossed his mind, ever. If they had met under different circumstances he would've still fallen for her...which would've lead to the same outcome. Man, why were girls always so tempting!? Just earlier he had met two cute ones and now the third was trying to kill him. Seriously, if he were to survive this one, he'd stay away from girls or at least keep an escape route ready at all times! Like, he'd never wander into a kitchen for instance.
But before he could continue his thoughts the pain that he hadn't been able to feel so long finally made his conscious fade and the fever that had befallen his body had started to build up sweat all over his skin, making his life but a whim to the little mistress. Sad, really and she had just gotten heated up herself. Luckily her fun wasn't going to be left unsatisfied. Let's say she just had her ways as her devilish smile that stroke through the darkness inclined.
As the violent wind blew the entrance to the zanjutsu room closed firmly, three bodies remained – one dead, one sleeping and one excited. What they were doing there in the pitch black room remained a mystery known only by one. After all, the dead don't tell secrets~

Amidst the dunes his presence stood tall, eyes firmly holding onto the image of the mountain a few kilometers from his position. The heat of the sun, along with the wind filled with sand particles had given his face a troubling burn and by the looks of it, it must've hurt a lot. Clearly he wasn't a tough and resistant shinigami when it came to weather conditions, his skin so vulnerable that it had peeled off a bit at the back of his hands. There were many traits that the neutrality inside of him had worsened through the achievement of bankai, extents of which he hadn't put into consideration when he decided to leave the “safety” of Rukon and the ring of the protection squads.
“Hollows” he sighed through his blistered lips and brought out Shinrabanshou out of its sheath. The eagerness Kitsu had shown towards his goal, increasing his speediness through the sand now fluttered through the sky above and away, met by quite the few evil spirits that had gathered to chase behind him. As the emptiness had left them starving, increasing their cravings for souls gradually, they had no other choice but to follow the trail of the pale man.
Honestly he hadn't expected for his reserves to run so thin within such a short period of time so that he'd have no choice but stop and defend. The forest of the mountain was so close but at the same time so far that an attempt to weaken himself even further in order to use the environment to his advantage meant a sure death. The little that was still there had to be used now.
With the disadvantage of the hollows' size, his hand to hand skills meant little. Not to mention that throughout the years he had barely ever used the wakizashi of his in sealed form. At best his swordsmanship was bad. All that was left to his disposal was his agility and nothing more. Any releases or kidou could draw the heck out of this area's hollows and who the hell would want that? The amount attempting to circle him in and cut off his escape routes was sufficient of a threat.
Mildly the steps closer to him broke through the wavering confidence within him. To think that such lowly creatures could put his life at risk...what a joke, become reality by his own inability to give attention to the basics. Slashes, filled with rage but heavy as stone came forth from one of the more swift hollows, at his back in an attempt to shatter Kitsu like a fragile mirror, claws, sharp to the very base trying to pierce into his guts from the side and another two figures on the lookout for moments of weakness in reply to those few attacks. Organization was no stranger when it came to survival, not when the only living things that reached into these lands were strong shinigami out for training.
He held his zanpaktou tightly in a reverse grip in order to reply to one of those attacks. His target - the one with the claws. The short edge of the weapon slipped along the length of the arm at his side but the cut only reached so far. Before his feet pushed him up in continuation of his slicing motion, one of the waiting two had stepped in to aid. It was bad. He was quick to use the weight of his arm to squish the man. The thrust that collided with the blade above his hands gradually burried his feet into the ground to make him an easy target for another attack, which came in the form of a packing punch to his back. The force sent the ex-shinigami into a short flight, past the side of a hollow and into the burning sand, his lips covered in both sand and drops of blood.
Time did not stand still. The hollows came in for a feast, slow, in a victorious stroll, howls sounding through the wind. Though, Kitsu was far from finished. The short weapon still in hand, he rose to wipe his mouth clean and take on a defensive stance. The sand still stuck to his skin and the pain kept his face from keeping a single expression while the raging hollows came forth to attack again but maybe it was for the better. If it could cast a shadow on the bruised back, it was well worth it.
Elegantly, as far as it was possible in his state, the sweeping motions of his feet through the sand moved him past one of the sledge-hammer like blows that a member of the group had aimed for him. Kitsu's tight fit clothes came ripped up from a follow up attack and by the looks of it, despite its light effects due to the last moment save, it was just a strategic maneuver to put the man in place for another devastating attack. But a surprising turn of the winds managed to cut through the scenery and hide his presence from the hollows before the arms fell to the ground and scattered the sand into an eruption as if caused by the explosion of a land mine. And while the surprising turn of events had saved him from becoming mashed potatoes the rather weak man was able to shunpo onto the shoulders of the one standing furthest. The motion of his blade took no longer than splits of the seconds, not enough to make the pitiful being realize that the stabbed blade in its scull was lethal. Only after the edge made its way into the open air did those black eyes lose sight. The heavy body tumbled to the ground with all its weight with Kitsu jumping off to its front.
As far as luck could be accounted for, one hollow less didn't make things any easier. Throughout the encounter the one he had just slain hadn't acted even once which made him doubt its presence in the picture as a whole.
