Here on our forum characters have experience points and levels. Those levels can loosely be translated into a ranking structure for some of the class factions. This is not a hard and fast rule but should be used as a guide to what rank your character should be at any given level. Now, not all of the classes have ranking structures and not all of the ones that will have had them fleshed out yet so this thread will be updated as information comes in.

Shinigami - Gotei 13 Ranks

Level 1 - Academy Student - Nearly all Shinigami begin as an Academy Student. It is where they are assigned their Asauchi.
Level 2 - Unseated - Each of the 13 Court Guard Squads have around 200 unseated members within their ranks.
Level 3 - 20th-15th Seat - These seated officers are considered to be the lowest ranking officers in any squad.
Level 4 - 14th-9th Seat - These seated officers are considered to be experienced and have some level of authority.
Level 5 - 8th-4th Seat - These seated officers are usually assigned small groups of lower-ranking shinigami to command.
Level 6 - 3rd Seat - Third seated officers are next in line to become Lieutenants and as such have high authority.
Level 7 - Lieutenant  - Second seated officers are direct subordinates to Captains and are next in line to become Captains themselves.
Level 8 - New Captain - Captains are the highest-ranking officers in a squad but newer captains hold less authority on the council.
Level 9 - Senior Captain - Senior Captains hold high authority on the council and will sometimes even lead newer Captains.
Level 10 - Captain Commander - The Captain Commander is the highest rank in the Gotei 13. They hold authority over all Captains.

Hollows - Stages of Evolution

Level 1 - Newly-formed Hollow - A nearly formed hollow is the most basic form, having very few abilities.
Level 2 - Young Hollow - With several kills and feedings a young hollow will begin to manifest abilities.
Level 3 - Medium Hollow - Somewhat larger than before, this stage of hollow will have a good deal of experience hunting in the Human World.
Level 4 - Medium Hollow - Somewhat larger than before, this stage of hollow will have a good deal of experience hunting in the Human World.
Level 5 - Large Hollow - These Hollow have grown large from feeding and are nearing the next step in evolution.
Level 6 - Gillian - Gillian are massive hollows made up of thousands of souls, most reach upwards of 70ft in height.
Level 7 - Gillian  - Gillian are massive hollows made up of thousands of souls, most reach upwards of 70ft in height.
Level 8 - Adjuchas - They are generally much smaller than Gillians, more intelligent, and have greater battle power.
Level 9 - Adjuchas - They are generally much smaller than Gillians, more intelligent, and have greater battle power.
Level 10 - Vasto Lorde - The rarest sub-species of Hollows. They are much smaller than Gillian or Adjuchas and appear more humanoid than animalistic.
