Pick your opponent with care (Kaiyo)

Things had been so calm for the last week, no shinigami, no hollows and no encounters with other spiritual aware people, for a city with so much spiritual energy, there should have been more activity for her to observe, maybe it was about time she began training again, recently most training she had gotten was trough fighting shinigami and hollows, while it was good practice for those real life battles, it did not do enough for training her muscles when so few shinigami were coming to Karakura town.
Amaya was sitting atop one of the big building in the city, it was there she got the best view of the city, and she could mostly see catch every spiritual energy in the city, only the few who were good at hiding their spiritual energy could avoid the detecting power of her eye.

She was looking up at the sky as the clouds were moving by, maybe she got lucky today, or maybe she would just be wasting an hour or two up here, it was probably going to be the later of the two.
Amaya made a small sigh and sat up, what were with the shinigami and hollows anyway, they were fighting each other, but to what end, she had yet to get a decent answer out of anyone, the hollows were always uncooperative, and she had a bad habit of knocking out the shinigami before she could get any answers, and no way in hell she was going to take one home and interrogate him, besides they almost always had those butterflies or that phone thing with them, which most likely had a tracker on it, at least she figured out how to make it send an emergency signal so the shinigami could pick up their team member, she would not want to leave them knocked out, and be at the mercy of hollows roaming the area.

Amaya caught a signal, speaking of the devil there was a spiritual energy in town, she had a hard time reading it at this distance, she got up and began moving over rooftops, towards the source, it seems this could yet be a good day.

Her arms pumped heavily at her side as she pushed off her left foot and leapt in to the air, puffing in annoyance as she finally caught the bugger. The lithe girl rolled across the nearest rooftop as she landed. Damn hell butterfly had been and gone so fast that she'd completely blanked out its message. In a bid to rescue her time in the real world, she'd been chasing the damn thing for almost an hour now. Scrambling back up to her feet, she cautiously unfurled her tight fist. Her body physically relaxed as the black creature floated above her palm and relayed the message once more.

Kaiyo's neck jerked out as she frowned in disbelief. Unwilling to really admit the fact, she slowly glanced down to her hip. Her arms flailed around her as she groaned in annoyance. She'd only taken a few days off to revisit the real world and no sooner had she arrived, did she get a message saying she'd forgotten her Zanpakuto. 'How does that even happen!' she cursed up to the skies. Her head dropped back down in defeat.

At the very least, she should probably go find her gigai. The 12th squad had given her an address for one of their stationed researchers nearby to collect what she'd need for her short holiday. As it was, the uniformed Captain was standing atop a large building, without her Zanpakuto. Kaiyo exhaled her annoyance, brushing herself down as she hopped on to the edge of the building. One foot at a time, she began to tight-rope walk along the roof. Stopping every now and then just to look down, the humans bustled below, so unaware of her presence. There was a loneliness in such a fact, but Kaiyo felt like it was one she needed. Especially after what she'd been through recently.

Amaya moved quickly to get closer to the energy, but as she got closer, she slowed down while concentrating on keeping her own energy hidden, getting the first strike was important if she was to attack whomever it was.
As she got closer she could read the energy, it was higher than she expected, it was not th strongest she had seen yet, but with the signal it send out, it was clear that it was Restricted by something else than the users own power. Amaya was near the center of the city by now, so she would have to be careful of where she picked off her opponent, as she did not want to be seen in public.

Amaya not too far from the girl in the air, Amaya used her eye to zoom in on the girl, she sure was taking her good time moving about the area, observing life down in the street, and judging by her clothes, she was a shinigami, but no ordinary one, the clothes were different, she had not seen them before, which probably meant that the person was higher ranking in their hierarchy or however they worked their government or whatever it was they were doing.
Amaya kept a safe distance for now, she stalked her new prey, just looking at the girl gave her the chills, there was no doubt about it, this girl was strong, she may not look it, but she had power hidden under the surface.
Amaya waited until her target had gotten to a roof, she then left her hiding, quickly approaching her target, and only just before reaching her target, Amaya let her spiritual energy free, aiming her leg down from above down towards the target.

Kaiyo would never admit it and it was rare for the Captain; but she was caught utterly oblivious by the strike. Her mind had been trailing off in distance over the ponderance of just how much candy she'd be allowed to lug back to Soul Society; and if she could convince anyone that a squad exercise was needed to help her transport such precious items. Then it hit her...Literally. Usually, Kaiyo's reactions to combat were razor sharp; landing a surprise hit on the Captain became damn near impossible because she'd usually notice the enemy miles off. All such examples were brilliant for when Kaiyo wasn't on holiday. So the normally combat-ready girl noticed her 'opponent' only when it was too late.

As the woman appeared in front of her, panic shot across the girl's face as she moved her hands up to block her own vision. Error. Letting out a squeak of panic, the woman's foot collided with the girl. Kaiyo was punched back through the air, flipping off her first ground collision as she spun straght off the edge of the building. There was silence for a moment before the girl leapt back up on to the roof. A face of sheer outrage as she yelled at the woman. 'You could've killed me!' she shouted, flailing her arms out to emphasise her distaste for the attack. As far as she knew, she hadn't even done anything to this particular woman. She kicked pretty damn hard though; largely due to the shock of the attack though, but Kaiyo could appreciate strength where it was due. 'What's wrong with you?!' Finally her lagged mind caught up with her; a superhuman. This person had to be a superhuman. She'd probably sensed the Captain and decided to try out her own skill.

Kaiyo stood glaring at the figure; awaiting some kind of explanation.

Amaya was standing letting the shinigami talk, she could see the shinigamies power with her eye, the power she was hidding was off the charts, however her current strength was not that high, this girl was holding back, like allot back.
"Sorry darling, but with the kind of power you are packing, that kind of hit would not kill you, I am surprised it even fazed you like it did" Amaya began lowering her body, getting ready to set off towards the shinigami once more "now I know you are not showing all of your power, but let's see if I cant force you to use a little more than that"
Amaya summoned a sphere in each of her hands, throwing one forward towards the shinigami, where after Amaya set off from the ground, in the air she followed the shinigamies movement and would throw up the sphere into the air and kick it towards the shinigami, making it go at a very rapid speed towards her opponent, if these spheres got within a short distance of anyone else but her, they would explode.

Amaya knew she had to pull every trick she had if she was to win this fight, her opponent was a shinigami that had extremely high spiritual energy hidden away, if the shinigami was to release it all, Amaya would barely be able to move.
