Just summing it all up (Kaiyo please)

It was late afternoon, the sun allready going down to say good bye for the day though it still left its good bye gift of beautifull light and long shades over the whole soul society. It was quiet people had been slowing down what training there had been done through the day had stopped people where going back to relex for the evening while a few select people where either going out to take their post for the night or finnishing up their last errands for the day. One of those people where Shikuro who walked through the 11th squad barraks.

Shikuro stumbled through heading for the captains office, he wanted to talk abit about what happened last time they had met, his leg luckily having fully recovered now, though with the help from squad 4 that was also a given as they really had good means to heal injuries and prevent perminant damage to the organ, something that Shikuro should be very happy was so.

Shikuro took a deep breath as he saw the door before him, going over his words and what he wanted to talk and ask about he was feeling unneccesarily nervous but he sorta always did though he had gotten better at throwing it away once he had finally started to talk with Kaiyo, it was only just before afterward he felt rather comfterble in her presence which was a very good thing. With that in mind he knocked on her door.

Kaiyo chewed her bottom lip intensely, deep in concentration as she took a small step back. Cocking her head to one side, just to add a new perspective of the piece. It had been part of Kaiyo's recent decision to add a bit more fun to her office. The latest addition was a large battleaxe she'd been given. A noble family gift, usually not her type of thing but the axe was just so pretty. The girl's face lit up as she smiled, glancing over to her as she hopped onto one of her sofa's. 'Enter if you dare, Shiku' she called casually. Admiring her own handy-work or a moment longer, before she turned her attention to the door.

Kaiyo already knew it was Shiku, she could sense his reiatsu, and she'd been expecting him all day really. Though the Captain was quite interested as to what he had to say, she'd let him speak first.

Shikuro entered with a raised eyebrow not a bit confussed about the way he should have understood that statement 'if you dare' at all be he didn't mind as he had promissed himself to act more casually and funnyly it all felt much easier now that he had fought her, though he knew cause of that she was much stronger than him but still it gave a sense of a stand point, he knew the whereabouts of her power truely he hadn't experienced them all, but he knew the about of it, and that was enough that they had been determinated and wasn't just an unknown number. His eyes glances over the room as he enters noticing she weren't sitting in her chair before noticing where she was she noted the change of the Axe brining his expression to a more confussed one.
"Hmm thought you'd spice up your room?"

He smiled turning towards Kaiyo smilling truely his previous nervousity completly gone compared to his last meetings with the captain where he would have had to spend the first 5 minutes to calm down and be relaxed.
"I was wondering since I don't recall of much of what happened after our fight weather I had achieved the goal of making the fight interesting?"
Shikuro refers to the fact of the fight being a challenge to begin with to see who would be able to make her interested in a battle the one who could would be rewarded with the choice of mission, though that didn't matter much to Shikuro he just wanted to know how had done in her eyes.

Kaiyo shuffled back on her sofa as Shiku entered, gesturing for him to take a seat opposite. The girl's eyes flickered back to her new axe, beaming with pride as she nodded, 'It was a gift' because who didn't love a present that could slice a person into little pieces. Kaiyo brought her knees up on the sofa, tipping her head back as she looked around her office, 'Yeah, still something missing though' she pondered lightly. Already planning her next shopping trip to the real world.

A smile tugged at the corners of her mouth when Shiku mentioned their fight. Kaiyo had already spoken to the 4th squad about how he'd healed up. Taking a moment of seriousness, Kaiyo clasped her hands together. A more stoic expression dawning her face as she spoke, 'Actually i wanted to talk to you about that'. Of course the façade of seriousness was just to throw shiku off a bit. Bored with being predictable perhaps.

Kaiyo reached forwards and plucked a small piece of candy from a large bowl on the table between them. Munching on it happily for a moment. As usual, Kaiyo's appearance was less than regulation. Her kosodo and kimono were both left un-tied, revealing a white tank top that hugged tightly to the Captains figure. That and several real world bracelets on her right wrist made for a less than formal shihakushō.

Kaiyo was quite impressed though, not only by the fight she had with Shiku, but also how calm he'd seemed. At the very least, he was acting a lot more calm. The girl grinned happily at Shiku, 'It was a good fight, few improvements needed but you did better than i was expecting. Really nice speed, but you shouldn't rely on it so much in combat, bu good reactions, nice tactics...Very interesting fight' Kaiyo nodded slightly, she meant no offence by what she was saying, in fact it was meant as a compliment. 'Sorry about your leg though, all patched up now right?' she smiled, speaking with full sincerity in her question.

Shikuro slowly and calmly moved over and slided into the couch infront Kaiyo, he let his Zanpakuto slide of his back in the process letting it stand up against his leg allowing him to be seated more comfterbelly and leaning back just a tad. He looked behind him on the axe again for a moment before looking back at Kaiyo once more.
"Maybe 11th squad emblem or... an illustrated image to your liking... I know someone who's well at drawing if that be the case"
Truthfully Shikuro was the one himself who enjoyed to draw, bit of an artist though he never let anyone know as it was meaningless for anyone to know but he did however continue to use the excuse of knowing someone.

He looked rather surpriced as she had been wanting to talk with him aswell, he knew that he himself had been wanting to, but in truth his mind had been on that unanswered question for the most of the time he spent in the 4th squad barraks waiting for being able to walk again. But none the less he was very happy as it seemes that he had not been the only one having that on mind.

He leaned slightly more back into the couch smilling peacefully listening well to Kaiyo's words taking them to account for as he saw it as proberly some of the best advices he could get right now Kaiyo was the fighting specialist of the soul soceity afterall. so it'd be stupid not to listen here. He nodded after Kaiyo seemed to be done, taking just a few second to sum everything up.

Shikuro aze turned to his leg, it was ofcourse in bandages but the wound had closed, but even with closed wounds, a fighter should wear bandages incase they should reopen durring a fight as having the profission as a fighter meant that you didn't get much time to recover from injuries, but nonetheless he had stopped thinking about him even having the wound anymore.
"Ahh yes... The wound was closed nicely, its still there but it doesn't take much of my attention anymore"
He smiles asuringly as he wanted to make sure he really weren't suffering cause of that anymore.
"Heh they even took care of my hand completly while I was there"
Shikuro then raises up his hand which before had been burned badly yet now it showed no sign of ever having been burned.

Kaiyo never ceased to be amazed by the 4th squad, the most under-valued squad members easily, but they'd saved her life all too many times. he girl raised her eyebrows as Shiku raised his arm, it looked as good as new.

There was a glimmer of something in Kaiyo's eyes, an agenda yet to be revealed. As much as the Captain did enjoy it, she was a strong believer that sharing was caring. 'Good' she added, reaching forwards with a mild gesture to the wrist, 'Because i kinda need your help with something'. Kaiyo flashed a wide smile to Shiku. Picking up another candy as her eyes caught the wall again, 'Hmm, what kinda arty thing did you have in mind?' she asked. Kaiyo didn't have a clue that Shiku was the artist, in fact her question was more a slip of the tongue. Despite how it may have seemed very directed at him.

The girl hopped over the back of the sofa to her desk. Shiku's file was already sprawled out across across it. Kaiyo bit her lip for a moment, jumping onto the front of her desk as she swung her legs through the air. 'So like i was saying, our squad has highest casualty rate and at any point i have like 5 different guys resting up in the 4th squad. Welcome back from there by the way' she smirked. Leading onto her main point.

'Your improvement in the squad has been really good and from our fight the other day i figured you could help me out a bit' Kaiyo paused once more, letting just a bit more tension build. 'So how'd ya feel about being my Vice Captain?' she beamed. Leaning forwards with her hands either side on the desk to stabilise her, the Captain glanced back over her shoulder to the sheets of paper. 'Just temporary for the while, but if you prove you're up to it, well then we can make it official'. Kaiyo waited, watching closely to gauge Shiku's response.

Shikuro scratched the back of his head for a bit turning yet again to the wall thinking for a moment, forgetting everything about thinking about not letting himself be shown as the artist but one thing was again to be able to draw and paint another was to design not the thing he did best but he could do some designs.
"Well it all depends on what you want... It could be anything from you, your Zan and drawing of the squad... or maybe in the more artistic manner it could be something as simple as lightning or an abstract look of battlefields or something..."
Shikuro had to stop himself from continueing he looked back innocently after in his oppinion having rambled alittle bit too much.
"Heh... sorry bout that"
He said feeling rather embarressed for just letting his ideas run like that he could proberly have gone further but then again he really didn't wish to or maybe he did not even himself was sure about that.

Shikuro blinked and then Kaiyo had moved from her seat, leading him to step up from his seat aswell taking a hold in his Zanpakuto never letting it leave his side but he didn't want to bother putting it on.
"Ehh thank you..."
He said nodding in appreciation not really sure where this was all going but just patiently waited for the point to be pointed out.

Shikuro raised an eyebrow not really sure why this was brought up, in his oppinion he would help at all time all she needed to do was ask and he would be there doing anything and everything. He knew though in the back of his head that this wasn't just a favor or else Kaiyo wouldn't have gone through all this. He takes a step away from the couch slowly walking a bit closer. He stands rather shocked though as the point is finally brought up, he wasn't sure how to comprehend this offer, a feeling of pride sprung up along with a rather uneasy feeling of the question 'was he really ready?' he was rather releifed that it was tempoary which in a way made it seem like there was less presure but then again it was still something to be very proud off.
"I..."
His voice felt heavy he sank twice to clear his throat to continue.
"Yes ofcourse... I will do my best I promise and hopefully I can live up to your expectations"
He was mostly speechless he just needed maybe a few moment to complrehend what had just happened, he heard the words and all now his mind just had to fully understand that this really happened, though he seemes surpriced its easy to tell that his happy aswell.

Kaiyo tilted her head to one side, her mind flashing with images that Shiku mentioned, a squad painting sounded quite appealing though Tenrai would fall in love with one of her Zanpakuto. It would be a topic she could think of later on at any rate.

The girl smiled happily, her own empathy feeling almost as excited as Shiku about the new position. Kaiyo even threw her arms into the air for a second, swinging her legs happily as she cheered, 'YAAAAAY!' Kaiyo leant back on her desk, reaching across to the top draw as she pulled out a small presentation box. Flipping it around in her hand the girl jumped quickly over to Shiku. Dropping the box to the ground as she carefully unfolded the white fabric. Shuffling closer to Shiku as she tied it around his left arm. Taking a step back the girl grinned, the 11th squad arm-tag. 'What d'ya think?' she quizzed, wondering if he'd have preferred it on the other arm.

'Oh yeah, do you wanna tell the squad?...Maybe by leading a training exercise tomorrow?'. In sheer brute force, Shiku wasn't the strongest in the squad, but in combined ability and overall combat skill, he was her best choice by far. Though the other Captains may have been less supportive of her choice, without offering the proper evaluation to become a Lieutenant. The choice was hers though, so Kaiyo didn't particularly care.

Shikuro straightened up in surprice, not really expecting that kind of reaction from Kaiyo he knew he felt excited and all but he had no idea Kaiyo would aswell. He stands tense waiting Kaiyo to be done with wrapping the badge out he was ready to put it on himself though as she was so quickly to put in on him he just waited even more. As she was done he moved up his arm to get a good look on it, not really sure what to say he wanted it on Right arm as it would make some trouble when useing Shikai but he didn't want to be troble right now so he'd just replace it himself later on.
He let his hand run over it, this was really something else, not something alot could say they'd have hanging on their arm, he really felt proud.
"Thank you... I'm not really sure how to expres my feeling..."
Shikuro looked up again smilling proudly.

He listened well as she spoke of training excersie, and actually telling the rest of the squad, he didn't even know what to say there. He nodded in agreement though it was proberly only right and if he couldn't acomplish announcing becomming Vice captain how should he ever be able to accomplish the daily duties of one.
"Yes a training excersise would be the appropiate choice wouldn't it?"
Meaning that would be the best way to show off it being the Squad of battle after all nothing else would mark his promotion.

The girl was practically feeding off the energy in the room, Kaiyo tended to do that a lot actually. A certain awareness of others lead to such actions, though the grl was also very excited to finally get a new Vice Captain.

She nodded avidly at Shiku's possible rhetorical question, 'Yeah, show 'em who's boss kinda thing' she chuckled. Bounding back over to her desk, her bracelets jingled with her movements as she leant over the desk around. Clearly too lazy to move around it as rummaged around in the draw. Blowing a rogue strand of hair from her face, the girl hopped up onto the desk to lean over it better, bent over it as her search continued. 'Aha!' she announced.

Chucking a shimmering silver key over her shoulder towards where Shiku was standing. The girl twisted back around and slid of her desk, 'Here's your office key, erm, you can arrange your office however you like...But i do still want help with that art thing you said' she added, gesturing to to the door to lead Shiku to his office. The prospect of having someone help with the paperwork would be pretty useful as well actually: it wasn't exactly Kaiyo's forte.

'Hmm, got any questions about your new job?' she pondered, uncertain she'd covered everything.

Shikuro smiled agreeingly he kinda had to do that cause how else would he live up to what had been apointed to do, he shouldn't be seen as some sort of newcomer that without good reasons was given this oppotunity, no he had to stand up and show he was not without talent. Atleast he thought he must've had some.

He watched her though as she searched through her room, not really sure what for but he waited politely as he should in this case. He raised an eyebrow not having expected this at all, he would even be having his own office? he didn't know much about what a Vice Captain did especially since there haven't really been one in the squad for as far as he's been there, yet he smiled quickly putting his hand on the key holding it safely.
"Well I'd be happy to help... You just need to tell me what you want or something alike and then I'll see what I can do to make arrangements in getting it done as soon as possible... besides... I wouldn't even know where to begin on mine... never even thought of the possibellity"
He smiled slightly more now that the shocking effect of this all became real, he finally realised completly that this wasn't a dream it couldn't be as he didn't know about Vice Captains having offices so ofcourse it had to be real.

Shikuro takes a brief moment to think ofcourse there was going to be some but that would be on some things that might happen later like formalities and such and when he should act or not though he didn't even know how to explain that, so he thought best of waiting.
"Ehh... I don't think so... Except for how does this change my daily life..? like missions and maybe there is hours where I'm needed to be at my office?"
Shikuro tilted his head knowing that the question might be stupid but he really didn't know.

Thoughts of possible images for her wall switched through Kaiyo's mind like tv channels, buzzing in and out of focus as she lead Shiku along the hall. The idea of her shikai being drawn was quite appealing. Snapping back to the matter at hand, the girl glanced back to her new Vice Captain.

Stopping just down the hall from her own office, she gently pressed her hand against the door and slid it open. Not looking inside herself, she was watching Siku's response. Kaiyo had purposefully left the office very plain, it was Shiku's, so he should be the one to design it. The room was a lot like any office really, it had bookcase at one end and a desk at the other. It was basically just a small version of Kaiyo's own office.

Not waiting for an audible reply, she pressed back onto his question. Tapping her chin in mild contemplation before she spoke. How does it change his daily life? Kaiyo's only reply was that it would be very different, though she figured he was looking for a bit more detail than that. 'And let me see, you get paid more, when i'm ill or not here you;re in charge, you do lots of paperwork, attend meetings, work more hours, get a bit more holiday time and i guess just have to be better than anyone else in the squad' she smirked slightly, competition was high for such positions. Still, she was positive Shiku would be her best choice for a vice Captain.

Shikuro followed politely ofcourse a bit tense feeling over actually getting an office not something he had ever thought off he knew Captains had them but never that Vice Captains had them he looked inside smilling excitedly about it all still not sure he had comprehended the fact that it was his. He took a deep breath though to make sure he was still there alive and breathing, a silly thing perhaps but still.

His eyes glanced around the room once more before returning over to Kaiyo as she was explaining herself before him, nodding lightly after she was done.
"Well that sounds more simply than I thought it too be..."
He smiled didn't pay much attentions to the loads of paperwork though as he knew he was rather good at writing he thought it to be no problem, and hoped his abbilities there should atleast surfice, the meeting where a rather exciring thought now that he should actually go to those as the representive of his squad and all. though Kaiyo would ofcourse still be doing the most of that.

He wasn't that much bothered about the competion there wasn't many people he was affraid of in the squad though he thought better to be safe he proberly needed to do some training later on he should be shown as someone not ready tomorow atleast.
"Well thats all for my questions about vice captain... would there be something I need to do in this mater after we're done?"
He thought best to ask now cause if they actually started speaking about other things after this he would completly forget to ask.

Kaiyo tilted her head to the right, her eyes drifting up to the corner of the hallway in a mild contemplation. She'd more than likely forgotten everything she was meant to say, but honestly that's what people expected of her. Kaiyo shrugged, 'If there is i'll come tell you' she smiled, patting Shiku on the shoulder lightly as she took a few steps past him.

Turning back around with a mild point to her new vice captain as she added, 'Oh yeah, sort out squad training exercise for like 2 days time or something, good luck Shiku' she chimed in her normal cheery tone. Spinning back around towards her own office. Kaiyo had more paperwork to fill out now, announcing Vice Captains was such tiresome work.
