"Heyyy"said Kaiyo as she awoke from her slumber, Drac was slightly pleased that her friend was alright as she laid there hooked up to machines and IV. He rolled out of his bed slowly and place his feet on the floor, he quickly brought them up for he didn't realize how cold it was till he put them on down. Slowly he tried again and got his foot at first it was cold till his feet got use to the coldness then it went away, he grab his IV stand with a blood bag attached to it and walked slowly toward a chair next to her bed and sat down. "Well.....that was one hell of night." Drac looked at her and notice a tear running down the side of her face and he knew exactly why, the memories of the old woman dying was fresh on his mind as well. The room went silent as both began to reflect on the passing of the old woman and all of the events transcribe afterward, a certain sadness crept on Drac face then it turned into rage as he was beginning to become anger at his own weakness. "If only I was stronger then maybe........she still would be alive." Drac balled his hand into a fist and punched his leg in anger. Drac continue on reflecting on his own weakness until Kaiyo had began laughing "We must be made of tough stuff...I'm glad you're alright Hulk." said Kaiyo

Drac looked at her with a surprise look on his face after she spoke, he was kinda shock how quick she changed her expression knowing full well that she was only repressing it. He smile back at her and chuckled a little bit "Tch, your much tougher than you look kaiyo....I'll have to make note of that when I'm writing your recommendation letter. Drac laid back in the chair and began recollect what happened before the death of lady, he clearly remember they were both eating pastries before everything went to hell. "Kinda sad that are date end on such a bad accord." Drac laugh a little until he began to hear a loud noise coming from outside the door of their room.

Suddenly three men in shinigami robes walked into the room, the each had the symbol for Squad 2 on their back. Drac began to shake his head for he knew that their action wasn't gonna go unpunished in beginning now its come full circle and it was time to pay for their crimes. "Glad to see you too are up. Drac, Kaiyo, Your both wanted for questioning for the murder of a entire gang plus burning down part of the forest." Drac knew that once they found out that Kaiyo was involved he knew that her chances of getting in were gonna be slim, so he was going to say it was all his doing to protect her.

Kaiyo couldn't help herself letting out a laugh; a full blown belly laugh even, and she was almost certain she'd popped a stitch doing so. Despite the pain, she felt better for the laughter though. Her cut face and pale taught skin seemed to light up, her eyes fixing with a genuine joy as she replied. 'Yeah maybe next time we can just get take-out'. It might have been too soon to joke, but it did make Kaiyo feel better. That, and she was now a little convinced that where they ate next someone else might die. She was probably wrong.

Her smiled waned when the men walked in. They looked a little bit too serious to be part of the 4th squad. She sat bolt up in bed, deciding she didn't want to look as weak as she really felt. Her eyes narrowed on the man that spoke, darting between him and Drac. She decided they probably weren't joking. The blonde girl sighed heavily, 'What? now?' she snarled, dropping her legs over the end of the bed. Still in hospital garb, the short girl shuffled closer to the middle man. She rolled her eyes as she looked up at him, 'Fine, Grumpy...Let me get changed first' He said nothing so she just pushed him backwards. Yanking the curtain back around her bed. She doubled over for a moment, such fast movements didn't match her body very well at the moment.

Still, she shuffled across to the end of her bed and pulled on some trousers. Slowly yanking off her hospital gown as she traced her hand along the serrated skin and stitches beneath her bandages. She winced silently as she she pulled on a grey jumper, rolling up her sleeves to show the bruises and cuts on her arms. They at least didn't look too bad. She pulled back the curtain, and smirked to Drac. 'You look great'

"What? now?'said Kaiyo as she looked over at the three shinigami from squad 2, the leader of the group quickly shook his head "Of course not, you two are clearly still injured. Once you both are completely healed then we will head over to Squad 2." said the shinigami in the middle of the group, but alas Kaiyo was already getting out of bed "Fine, Grumpy...Let me get changed first." said Kaiyo as she pushed the man back so that she could have some privacy while she change into something else, the three men looked at Drac as he got up out of the chair and walked slowly toward the closet in the corner of the room "When you two are done changing we will head over toward Squad 2, take your times. Also your spare clothing are in the closet Drac." said the man in middle of the group, as he walked out of the room for the two to have there privacy. Drac opened up the closet door, and to his shock a big clear bag was present with the bloody mess that was his and Kaiyo's clothing. Suddenly all the memories of the night rushed into his mind, how he wildly chased a man down through the night just for revenge, how he blew open a building door and brutally murder would be innocent men just to find that one guy while placing a teammate in harm way, and how he smashed that man's brains in when he finally caught him.

Drac shook his head and grab his spare clothing, which was a red thick plate chain mail with a hood and some baggy black jeans(check Drac's character profile for visual). The clothing scraped against his bandages and cut which mad it slightly discomforting to walk 'You look great'said Kaiyo, who was now fully dressed, Drac smile and looked at her "So do you too..........Look I know you want to join squad 2, but with something like murder on your profile is going stop them from considering you.........So if they ask, I want you to blame it all on me. At least you'll be safe." Drac walk next to her bed looking directly at the door, the three shinigami waited for a sign that all was well to enter so that they can escort them to squad 2 barracks to be interrogated by one of the superior

Kaiyo looked away when Drac pulled out the bag, her head whipping around instinctively to avoid re-living it. She could save those nightmares for later. The pure rage that had fuelled her aggression, was unknown to Kaiyo. So unfamiliar was the girl who'd broken bones and killed for revenge on one person; she felt a pang of guilt over the poor sods who were just in the way. They were probably not innocent, anyone hiding in a well armed building in the woods isn't exactly an ideal citizen, but they weren't her concern...Did that mean they didn't deserve it. She'd allowed her mind to drag over the thought, she glanced up; catching Drac's own sadness. She looked away again to save him seeing her notice, busying herself by attaching her Zanpakuto at her hip.

She flashed a cheeky grin at his response- she looked far from good, but was alive and healing. Kaiyo stepped closer to Drac as he spoke, her cocky smile fading. She hadn't even considered that; would she not be allowed to join the squad over this? Was it so serious to kill criminals...She'd probably be told. Her hand ruffled through her blonde hair; if her face was destined to look cut and bruised, her hair could at least look nice. A long breath escaped her as she seemed to deflate. Taking a moment to think Kaiyo shook her head, 'No...I definitely got you into it, so, blame me...I can join another squad- you're positions more important' So that was that, Kaiyo rested her hand against her Zanpakuto as she tugged the handle forwards slightly, rubbing her soft thumb along the guard as she took a steady breath.

'Come on, it'll be fun' she smirked sarcastically, stepping out the room to their escort group. It was always one thing after another.
