| Terrible Evil Socks - Tomato Acai Mushroom - Evidence Not Tolerable
Karosu had told him that he was to arrive exactly at eight in the morning, though he had taken some detours in trying to find his way there, and his timing was poor too. By the time he had gotten up, it was still dark, and he had thought that he would have plenty of time to get ready. But after finishing his cocoa, eating his breakfast and doing his morning business on his...throne of thought, for lack of a more creative term, he was left with no more than ten minutes to eight. Without enough time to properly dress, he quickly pulled on some light shorts with blue and grey patterning and black trim, and a black haori without decoration to it over his bare chest. by now it was two minutes to eight, and he was still stuck. His curry had finished, and he had packed the extra large portion into a pack, but his cocoa was still not ready, and after Karosu's generous offer of drink, regardless of its unappealing taste, he wanted to return the favour.
Now he was almost there. If he read the map properly, he could get there in time to be no more than an hour late. He shrugged the large pack further up his shoulder and continued on his way, his zanpakto bouncing against his thigh as he made a quick pace through the seireitei for where the open area of grass and trees would be.
He turned a corner and exited to a vast, grassy area, but found that it had a large lake in the middle of it. He cursed himself and reread the map again. If he was correct, the lake was…south of where he was supposed to be. He looked at it again and measured where he was supposed to go. No, he corrected himself, the lake he had found was not the one he thought it was. He gazed long ahead, seeing another body of water ahead. He was what, maybe another half hour from the destination? Maybe more or less? He cursed himself and marched northwards, because either body of water that it was, he would still have to move north to get there. Hopefully Karosu would understand that he had gotten lost. New places were always hard to find, especially if one didn’t extend the area of their interest much farther beyond the walls of the academy.
“I should invest in Soul Society global position equipment to find my way around here.” He muttered to himself, trekking onwards on his long, flat bare feet. | |
