Shakaku frowned, hurt by his comments. She didn't mean it snidely or that she thought of herself higher than anyone else. She wasn't trying to be rude or conceited. "If that's how you feel," she spoke her voice icy. "I'm not judging. And I'm not belittling you. I want to help people. If that makes me a bad person then so be it." She growled and stood, sick and annoyed with his ever so uninterested attitude. She was glad she was graduating so she wouldn't have to see him for a while. "I would rather speak my opinions and say what I think needs to be said then to not say anything at all." Shakaku narrowed her eyes and walked past him, her book in hand. She wasn't going to put up with his rudeness when she was trying to be kind and helpful. Anger and hurt flickered in her belly, swallowing any amiable feelings she had towards him.

Yuko’s eyes kind of widened, he felt a wave of disappointment overcome him. This always seemed to happen, he would find somehow he cud tolerate, and then mess it up. His eyes seemed to grow with his dread. He looked down as she passed him, “ I didn’t mean to insult you Shakaku… its just when you have gone threw hard things and people who haven’t try to say it isn’t that bad, it simply becomes overwhelmingly hurtful… if you can understand that…” he somewhat whispered as she passed his. He actually felt upset, which was rare to him, but he cud sense he didn’t want to lose this possible friendship.

Shakaku stopped in her tracks, her back facing Yuko. She listened to his words and felt her anger beginning to dissipate. She growled softly at herself to easily forgive him but she couldn't help it. He was the first person that she found tolerable, even more so someone she could really become good friends with. He wasn't like all the other guys she had met before and by the sound of his voice, he sounded genuinely sorry. She sighed. Maybe she had been a little too harsh, after all he was entitled to his opinion after all. She turned and looked at him and felt her anger wash away. With a weak smile she said, "I warned you I was thin skinned didn't I? I was out of place to preach. I apologize. I honestly didn't mean any belittlement or harm in my words." She hoped that he believed her because she really didn't want to be mad at him. He had been through a lot and maybe, more than he needed advice, was just someone to be there for him. A silent shoulder to lean on.

Yuko smiled at her, he hade still felt awful for what he had said, but he wasn’t the type to dwindle on the past. “ no no, you shouldn’t be apologizing. I was out of line” he grinned and walked over too his stake of books, looking down at there ruff surfaces‘. he was glade that there talk hade not ended in anger, if that would have happened he would have most likely never seen her again sense she was about to graduate. He slowly piled his books into a small bag he had left at his table, one after another he shoved the large books in. his mismatched eyes flickered back at Shakaku for a moment “ well, when will you be graduating ? I’m sure your very excited to join squad 1” he said smiling at her.

Shakaku smiled and replied to Yuko. "Soon. Tomorrow or the next day hopefully. My text scores need to come in before I get the a-okay to graduate but it will be within the next couple of days. I am really excited about it." She yawned again. "I should get going. It's late and I'm about to fall over from exhaustion." She laughed. She walked over to him and gave him a hug. She didn't think that was too out of line was it? She let go and smiled at him. "I'll see you around, Yuko. Maybe next time it will be a spar!" She winked and turned on her heels, walking out of the library and leaving it as silent as it was when she came in.

Yuko grinned at her, and was happy she was so close to graduating, wishing her the beast of luck. He was shocked when she walked over and hugged him though, he completely didn’t expect it, but hugged her back soon after and said goodbye as she walked out of the library . He stayed there for a bit longer, picking out a few more smaller books, and even reading some of them before pacing them all up and heading home.
He slowly walked threw the dark surroundings of the academies shadow cover forms, with silver moonlight simmering down on him. He felt a sense of understanding, and happiness which was rare indeed for someone like him as he silently walked in the night.
