Save the noble (Spire, Shikuro)

Auryuu was peacefully mediating in the squad 5 barracks. It was relatively empty at noon, when people left to go enjoy their various assortments of food. Auryuu wanted to be alone, and also forgot his money for the day, but he wasn't too mad about his empty stomach. After all he just blocked it out with mediatation anyways.

A loud sound entered the barracks as entrance was slid open. The sliding door opened frantically as a small man rushed out onto the wood floor. Auryuu's concentration broken he opened his right eye, as he maintained a meditative stance. His sealed zanpaktou lay next to him, bored ready to be revealed. The man ran up to Auryuu quickly reaching his hand out Auryuu responded by grabbing the sealed letter from him. "You better read that fast he said", as he ran out of the room, now sliding the door again. Auryuu cruised over the message with his eyes, scanning the urgent details held inside.

The letter read, You are to meet up with a vice captain for some living world training, report to the senkai gate at noon. Auryuu's eyes widened, frantic as he grabbed his blade, leaving his motion for a full running position. It in truth was way past noon, the messenger had been late. Auryuu quickly slid the door open and closed it once more, now leaving the barracks as he shunpo'd to reach the gate.

Auryuu eyed the shinigami below, as he continued to shunpo off the rooftops his eyes made him dizzy as they struggled to keep up with his surrondings. Auryuu finally gave in, as he panted now looking straight forward. Auryuu was just close to his position. Mere feet from it, it was about a leap away. Auryuu put his weight on both feet, propeling himself airborne like a missile, as he fell at an arc. Auryuu met the ground with a strong landing force, not phased by the landing too much as he seemed to brush it off. He had made it to his location.

It was a boring duty to oversee the seated members in their missions, as to get to know who's under youw aht they are capable of and what so though h is known to choose for himself who he can take with him, not this time though Shikuo had been sleepy lately not able to sleep more than a few hours at the time. So he let someone else pick not sure who or how it was done it didn't matter it was just a mission either way. Though this was a delicate one, he had been wondering how come 11th squad had been picked, though that was how it was and so thats how he should go fourth but atleast the member going with him wasn't one so it would appear he was jsut the body guard here, ofcourse the superior aswell but that came second this time.

He had met up 10 minutes before they were supossed to go he didn't feel like start doing anything else and the travel time was shorter than estimated, so he sat down next to the senkaimon gate and waited as he did he fell asleep, happily accepting the sleep to rest him out a bit, though ofcourse it wouldn't be way to long before the last one arrived and as he did his eyes sprung up and looked up against the sun estimating the time. He was late punctuallity wasn't a big deal for him but it was disrepectfull.
"You're late..."
He kept seated closing his eyes waiting for the appologi that was deserved he didn't care for excuses he just wanted him to know that he is late and that was that.

Auryuu walked up to the man suprised it was Shikuro. "Hello Shikuro it's good to see you again". Auryuu offered his right hand to the man for a handshake, realizing it had been pretty awkward from their last meeting. Auryuu knew Kaiyo well, he wondered if Shikuro knew about their close relationship. Auryuu decided not to bring it up, unless he absoulutely had to. Auryuu replied to the mans statement about the lateness. "The messenger delivered it 10 minutees late, not my fault", he said as he scratched the back of his head.

"What are we supposed to be doing?" Auryuu asked curiously. Auryuu turned his gaze to the senkai gate. He was a little anxious to get this over with so he could have some peace. Something always had to interupt his meditation.

Shikuro softly sighs into the air as she shakes the fellows hand before getting up on his fee his eyes still closed.
"doesn't matter... late is late..."
He yawned still tired the little sleep did do him good but not much he was still very tired, not cause he wanted to but he was.
"Well I'll explai to you on the way we need to start walking if we don't wanna be late... or rather to late..."
He winked gently starting to walk through the gate.

As they get through the gate its rather cold outside. He shaked the feeling of him rather quickly.
"Well now this is where you come in, our mission is to search and recover a lost noble.. she should be around here..."
He smiles lightly looking up into the sky as the clouds break apart giving a nice shade of light over the city.
"Alot of shadows..."

Auryuu shaked the mans hand firmly. Their hands soon seperated afterwards, leaving nothing but a small lecture from Shikuro. Auryuu smiled a little bit as he said his few words. The man winked at him as they began to walk, stepping in to the senkai gate. Once Shikuro informed him of the mission Auryuu was confused, as he looked at the scenery. Small japanese like huts were everywhere, and nothing had signs of life. Auryuu scanned the area, as he looked around closer. The shade from the buildings was strange as it made the whole location sunny in the sky, and black on the ground from the shadows that were casted of the huts.

Shikuro had noticed the shadows too, as he tossed a small comment out there. Auryuu could tell Shikuro seemed a little tired, hopefully he wouldn't fall asleep on the mission. Auryuu soon spoke softly too, careful to be quiet, just in case someone was out there. Auryuu could sense, a strange presence, or a strange reiatsu eminating from the area of the village. "Do you feel that reiatsu?", Auryuu said softly, as the words stood stale in the dead wind.

Shikuro raised an eyebrow, sure he sensed it. Who wouldn't in this situation ofourse he was a bit distracted by his own sense of justice to notice. Or maybe it was just a sense of what kind of power he had around this pace that held him caught up in his thoughts. Didn't matter really what does matter was the fact that he had to wake up alittle this place did seem rather dead.
"Yeah I do... without any trouble... which means Hollows should be able to do the same if not the sense is a hollow"
He smirked lightly hoping for the later, seeing as lately it had been nothing but easy missions except for that one mission going to that ship town.

He then rolled his houlder warming them up no matter what they were going to see some hollow action that was a definete thing, destined to happen in this place.
"Well best be ready for trouble... I'll take care of most but that doesn't mean you can't be caught offguard... so stay alert"
He starts walking ahead, through the place towards that stranger reiatsu leak.

Auryuu walked close to Shikuro, as huts surronded them. They were at the edge of the town, and it was strange that nothing could be heard except their own footsteps. Auryuu walked to the left of Shikuro, he was close, but he decided to check out the area. "Shikuro...". Auryuu pushed the huts curtain open slightly, as he revealed more of it. Nothing lay inside just an empty living space with some average living world things. Nothing high tech or expensive lay inside, because these people were most likely extremely poor. How did that noble end up here, didn't he have shinigami guards?, Think there was a fault with the senkaimon?. Auryuu was confused about the empty town, the strange reiatsu, lay further into the town.

Auryuu continued as he strode up to the road that diverged four different ways. Straight ahead would be the center. He still walked with Shikuro, but was a few feet ahead of him. The shadows madeh is body cool, even if it was hot outside, which it was. The heat was pretty uncomfortable in this town. It gave a false sense of peace, that only a spiritually aware being could detect. The hollow aura, menacing as it was, grew more and more vibrant as they approached the center. Auryuu kept his hand firm on his blade ready for use.

Shikuro wondered for a moment taking in his questioning at the mission briefing it wasn't much he was told or that he was really allowed to tell though most of it was basic noble stuff though handling nobles was also new to him.
"as I was informed it was something alike a noble wanting to take care of the place here helping them out with some trouble... the person had an escort... why?"
He pondered gently on the ideas of what a noble would be doing here but some nobles were gifted in special ways which was proberly the reason for these stranger spiritual presure.

He shook his body and moved a bit faster as the thought of danger came to him, it wouldn't e good for his career if he let a noble die when he could have done something about.
"Pushing up the speed a bit..."
His footstep got faster and his eyes had no trouble going over the enviroment around him.

Auryuu picked up his speed as Shikuro walked next to him. Shikuro talked as he pushed open the curtain openings of the various huts still not seeing anything. No life was around, nothing but, the uber spiritual energy from beyond their location. Auryuu kept pace with Shikuro as he began to speed up. Auryuu kept his ears, as he heard a strange growling sound. Shikuro!, Auryuu said, as a hollow popped out of a hut with a human in his mouth. The humans body was dangling by the midsection, as the hollow whipped it back and forth like a ferocius dog.

Auryuu pulled the sword from his sheath rapidly. The feel of his sword comfortable in his grasp, as the lion urged him to kill the hollow. It's about pride, he said faintly as Auryuu began to stride forward in a quick charging like motion. His blade ripped through the air as it was almost following him from behind. His right hand held the blade as it faced the direction backwards. With one steady stroke the hollow ripped in two. The hollows midsection now, was completely bloody as the rest of his entrails poured out. The hollow soon evaporated leaving nothing but the dead human body.

A young man maybe in his 20's lay dead. Dried blood ensured he had not died a matter of minutes ago. Auryuu began to fear the worst as his mind drifted and roamed through the most sinister outcomes of what had happened. He turned to Shikuro, and uttered a few words, as Nenshou began to roar simultaniously, angered by the death of a man, who was much weaker than his enemy. "There's more..." Soon a armada of hollows flushed out into the open town street. They were clumped inside the huts, and seemed to stare straight at the shinigami.

This was a worst case scenario.

Shikuro eyes sprung up looking back it had seemed he wasn't paired with someone worthless joyfully he let his breath sweep out of his mouth, as he rested slightly letting the young lad take care of his own not going to be a baby sitter. He wasn't anything of the sort he could be, but rather he'd just continue forward, this was getting more intense though, as he saw the hollows flooding forward. This was starting to look like something. Though Shikuro couldn't really enjoy himself this was about speed and getting things done fast.

He took a deep breath, his hand sweeping up on his blade, as it phades out f its sheath, a blade shord covering it as he did so.
"This doesn't look so bad..."
He smirked gently taking his first step forward, followed by his second as he then rushed forward right into the midst of the hollows, as the first three hollows made there strike they found there masks vut up along with Shikuro being over them, dropping down slashing a fourth down.

Auryuu noticed Shikuro's combative talents, as he slashed through the enclave of hollows before him, with a certain style. The man cleaved 3 hollows, as their blood sprayed over the terrain in front of him. It was a clean cut, simple and effective.

Auryuu quickly examined the situation. The hollow quickly dispersed out of the huts further, when a cry of a man echoed through the air. Auryuu looked around frantically as he swung his blade against an oncoming hollow, to prevent it's tackle. The sword, stained with blood, Auryuu could feel his zanpaktou, enjoy the slaughtering of enemies he deemed corrupt.

Auryuu's eyes finally caught the sounds owner. A man dressed in some fancy garments was running from a pack of hollow, about 50 ft. away. Auryuu instantly jolted throught the crowd, running through the hollows, like an explorer cutting plants in a jungle with a machete. "Shikuro he's up there!"
