Research(Felix)

A rather young looking child like girl, or at least that's what the bound form and many robes that covered her made her seem like. White hair in massive amounts, along with a simple sword at her side was all but she did kind of stand out in the area full of uniforms. She had on her uniform however, just underneath all her robes, she was a noble and the robes were well, part of her so to speak. Nevermind it was her day off from the academy, her bodyguard had an excellent suggestion today of what she might do. Ayame had come to the squad area to learn more about each squad, to see which one she might want to join in the future.

Of course that wasn't all that she was researching, she needed to know what exactly she needed to train in more to figure out if she was qualified to go into the squad or squads she picked. Ayame's gaze was flickering here and there, ignoring the surprise and glances towards her unusual appearance. Even if she was in the normal uniform they would probably still stare at her because of her hair and the markings with her eyes. Her hair was actually hereditary for her noble house so they may even know who she was immediately as well.

Felix was sitting outside the barracks when the site of white hair caught his eye, now around here normally he wouldn’t of thought anything of it. However when that head of hair only stands 5 foot tall and seems to be lost it tends to draw a man’s eye. Getting up from where he was perched on the barracks roof Felix eyed her path and before his heart could beat twice there was nothing more than dust where he had been sitting before. He had stopped about 30 feet in front of the white haired girl so that he could appear to run into her by accident.

From this angle he could see the young woman’s face and then it dawned on him he had seen her personnel file back at the barracks. Ayame Kameko, second heir to the house of Kameko…Older brother is head older sister married…rumors around the Rukongai say that brother isn’t happy at all with Ayame being a shinigami and is trying to find her a suitor. He had only briefly scanned the file but the markings on her forehead were a dead giveaway to her identity.

“Ms. Kameko!” He quickly hurried up to her his shinigami robes billowing around his wiry frame, “You should not be out here unescorted even if you are in the center of the Seireitei it is still dangerous for a noblewoman such as you to be out here alone. Where is your bodyguard?” Felix asked though he didn’t introduce himself he hoped she wouldn’t think him too rude.

This was not turning out to be any good research as she thought it would be, she had thought the squads would have what they specialize in as big bold letters outside of their building. But nope on the contrary it seemed to be just like every other building and not really all that special from one to the other. How was she ever to figure out which one would be a good one to think about joining once she went out of the academy. They didn't even have ready to see requirements to join the squads so she would know what she needed to concentrate her training on.

Frustration was growing within and she couldn't help but let a slight frown escape her civil facade. Maybe she should have had her disgusting bodyguard come help her with... well she did like her but dear god she was frustrating with her height and perfect body... compared to her and her robes her body shape wasn't all that good.... However someone called her last name which shook her out of her thoughts.

A shinigami was running towards her and knew her name? That was interesting, though she wasn't very surprised she was standing out and people knew what she looked like... But he just spoke of her being alone and where was her bodyguard. Slowly she stood up tall, but didn't even come close to being able to look at him in the eyes she had to peer up at him. "I left her outside of Seireitei, because she is just a bodyguard and this place is for shinigami squad members. I am here trying to research about which Squad might be best for me once I graduate the academy and what skills I would need to train harder in for the requirements."

Felix let out a heavy sigh, at least she knew where her body guard was “You know your body guard has had to have some training being a shinigami otherwise she couldn’t carry a zanpakuto so she knows her way around the Seireitei, I hate to sound disrespectful miss but that wasn’t a very bright move on your part. Like going into a desert without water or a map; there are places you’d best avoid.” Felix squatted down so he could look her in the eyes, “Though this is the headquarters of the Thirteen Court Guard Squads and while we as a whole are powerful are headquarters hold many things here that aren’t meant to be seen by those that are not prepared for it.”

Felix felt as if he was talking down to the small noble but he knew how disastrous wandering around lost could be, if she had tripped one of the many traps around the Seireitei and died when he could of prevented it he knew that he would be executed as well nobles were a major part in the economy of the Soul Society and so most have their own private army of soldiers, those who were trained to be shinigami but never were chosen to a squad. “If you would like I’d be more than happy to show you around.“ [i]Plus it would make me feel a lot better knowing you aren’t wandering around unescorted

Ayame frowned as she just stood there, he seemed rather perturbed and frustrated by her it seems with that sigh. But then he started to speak about what she should or shouldn't do and even squatted down so she wouldn't strain her neck to look at him. So he was treating her like a kid, she couldn't help but roll her eyes a little bit. "I know, I am over 200 years old, and have been through enough bodyguards and seen them die in front of me. Reason I didn't have her come with me, so someone couldn't try to make her an example in front of me. I know you are just trying to help but I do have my own reasons sir."

Ayame let out a little sigh though, she was not liking her researching adventure so far... Getting a lecture on top of not being able to find anything out wasn't the highlight of the day. But at least it wasn't just a lecture, he was trying to do something constructing like offering to be her escort.... and that might help her research a bit more. "That would be fair I figure, if you think it is best since you have been around this area far longer then I. And I am unable to do any of my research on my own it seems anyways."

Felix smiled as Ayame explained that she was much older than she appeared; “You know I have lived in the Soul Society long enough to know that age isn’t exactly the most trustworthy tell of a person. Bet you couldn’t tell I am a little over 90 years old myself.” Felix offered his hand out to the white haired noble, “Where are my manners? I am Felix Pyre of the Second squad it is a pleasure to meet you Ms. Ayame, and I’d be more than happy to show you around the Seireitei now where would you like to start?”

Ayame just stood there and listened to Felix with her violet eyes staring at him, it was true what he said about the age wasn't a way to tell about someone. But she was a noble, and had this much time to at least learn some of the common sense. "Yes, but at least one hopes that someone who lives long enough knows somewhat of common sense..... Nice to meet you Sir Pyre, I am Ayame Kameko but you already know that." She started to think a little bit about where to start however.

Maybe they should start with his squad? That would be most practical it would seem."I guess the best thing would be to know about your squad. like their goal I would guess and requirements. You see I am still a Shinigami student so I am trying to find out everything I can and work towards a squad that works for me."
