| Superhuman, Name: Sray "Serpent" Asher Age: Looks 20, but is about 200 years old. Birthplace: Unknown. Looks: 6'2, muscular frame, red hair, and many tattoos under the face, that appear during battle. He also has blue eyes, that look stern onto any threat. He often wears many different pieces of jewelry, usually he has rings on each of his fingers, and earrings on both ears. The accessories are usually very fragile and often break. Personality: Quiet for the most part. He usually overthinks everything, and takes time before he acts, on most things. He cares and has a soft spot for life. Although having said soft spot, he is still anti-social, and his zanpaktou sealed inside him, can also cause minor to severe mood changes. Gender: Male Job: Peacekeeper of earth, enemy of soul society. Special characteristics: Manufactured Shinigami No Kido abilitys General power: Advancement of speed, of limbs. Technique 1: Swift shell, A red force field around a limb that improves the speed and reaction of the nerves of that limb. Can be casted on others bodies parts while surrendering the use of itself on the user, unless Haste gate has been used. Technique 2: Minor gate ability: Haste gate At a toll of his own reserve, Sray can now cast Haste shell four times. Technique 3: Ragnarok Heel, A technique where when running or moving he can teleport up to 10 meters in the direction he's facing, disapearing leaving a split second after-image. Speed: 15 Spirit power:20 Fighting skill:20 Technique:5 History: A resident from Rukongai, orphaned at a young age, his father having been a distinguished shinigami for the 9th squad. His father died in the line of duty, orphaning Sray, and causing him to struggle. Having no spirtual powers at birth, Sray was almost abandoned by soul society, they didn't want anything to do with him. No one would care for him, because no one even really knew of his existance, besides Soul society. He had to steal, and scavenge to survive in Soul society, and often went hungry. One day a peculiar man visited Sray, dressed in a white labcoat, who promised him happiness and told him that he would be living a better life. Sray decided to go with him blindly, without knowing what the man had meant by happiness. Sray was set up to be tested on by a secret group of people assigned to "fix" the shinigami scarcity in the seireitei. The lack of shinigami at the time, was enough to get the project started by the gotei 13, and label it "Moral", even though most probably had second thoughts about it, and came to regret it. It was not just Sray, who was picked up many other Shinigami offspring were chosen for the taboo experiments. They were probably promised the same thing as Sray and fell for it just like he had. Sray spent many years inside the lab, and practically lived on the patient bed which was situated, in a really cramped room. The facility was unsanitary, and smelled of dried blood, to anyone who entered the place. It was home to him, so the smell had vanished and become unnoticible, eventuallu. They barely ever cleaned the place. Often he would hear screens, sometimes even see beds be pulled out with a human shape, covered in thick white blankets. He soon came to figure out what they were doing. They would test his strength, endurance, and other medical things, via many tests. Sometimes, most of them were pretty painful. They were trying to make super soldiers, through things, that could push many to death. They'd make them go without food for days, and then run like there wasn't no tommorrow. For some there would truly be no tommorow. Just like her. A young girl had been located next to him, the space between him and her, covered with a dirty curtain that hid everything, but her shadow. Every once in a while he'd see her get shots, and such like he did. The shots often made him feel sick and nautious, and seemed to vary everytime he got one. One day a bunch of men in white coats, had gathered around her, their shadows now hiding the girls shadows in replacing it with a cluster of cramped ones, telling him they had been hurdled around her. Their heart moniters beeped when they were in trouble. Hers had been beeping like crazy. He watched the men move throughout the curtain, he couldn't tell what they were doing but heard strange sounds, she was screaming, and repeating "Please", over and over again. Before he knew it the moniter flat lined, and a bed with the girls shape was rushed out of the room, with no sound except the bed wheels turning. He felt anger at that point stronger than any emotion he had ever felt. He would just close his eyes, and try to sleep when things like this happened, but it rarely worked. He cried for days, no one ever comforted him, or helped him through it, he was all alone in his single, confined room. Before he knew it, years had passed, and he had seen similar shapes many times, and he had the flat lining sound hammered into his head. He was lucky to have not taken any of the fatal injections. One day he awoke, to his bed in motion. Scientists, and doctors pushed his bed towards the door at a fast speed, and left him in a strange room with colored canisters, and a big screen computer. He was strapped firmly on the bed forced to watch the blank screen. A mans face came on the screen, he wore glasses, and had a strange scar on his right eye. He began to speak as the now mature Sray looked at the screen, not being able to look anywhere else. "Would you like red, blue, green, or yellow?", the man said giving off a creepy smile. "What", Sray said nervously looking at the man. "Pick!", The man yelled loudly through the screen hurting his ears, and scaring Sray. He didn't answer and soon heard a whistling sound, and saw many colors, mixing together from the strange canisters. A swirl of red liquid appeared from a the mixture, the red taking over everything else, and rised further and further up and leaned over Srays face, like a bent pillar. He stared scared at the liquid and tried to move his face to get away from it. He couldn't, the red liquid drowned him, blocking all the air he was trying to breathe in, and he felt what he thought, was dead for a second. Oxygen finally filled his lungs seconds after, his eyes getting back thier blue color, and hyperventilating through his mouth. He was alive, and he felt strange, he felt and sensed reiatsu throughout the whole facility, another presence, closer, a reiatsu inside, in the core of his chest, inside his heart. He gripped it hard, bunching up the shirt that lay over it. His skin glowed, and strange symbols were imbedded across his body. A sword lay against his arm, it also glowed, a strange darkish red, and sank further in burning his skin, and then becoming nothing to his skin. "What?", he said as he looked at the man, now smiling through the screen. "You're welcome", he said as the screen shut off instantly. His skin now bear many red glowing tribal tattoos. Men rushed in and grabbed him, by the arms and the bed, and quickly began to drove him away from the room. The doors of the room became further and further, as he lost conciousness. He began dreaming, seeing nothing but the color red in his dream, he imagined his fathers face, his strength flowed over onto him, like a wave. He had seen his father for so long, but not even a deadman could save his son from a hell like this. A breezy sound entered the air about his head, now opening his eyes to see the sky. A almost foreign sight to Sray. The sky that he saw in his dreams, lined the sky before him. As he sat up he saw the horizon, the sun was setting before him, something that was also was in his dream. He wanted to protect things like this, to protect the right, and deny the wrong. He would probably be exiled by soul society eventually, but couldn't care less now that he could see the sky. He stood up to realize he was standing on a tall building in Rukongai. What happened?, He thought to himself as he let out a big yawn

| New characters start out at low level non-seated shinigami (academy student). So is this character supposed to be a superhuman? The history is most confusing then. | |

| Well he's supposed to be a shinigami, who was stripped of his zanpaktou. Making him a human again, but still he will need a gigai to function in real world activities. | |

| Moved. To simply lose one's weapon doesn't make you human. Nor does it attribute special powers based upon said zanpukto. If you wish to be completely human then having such abilities makes more sense. Otherwise you'll be a shinigami with or without a sealed weapon. | |

| My comment is HERELet's look at powers: you shoot blood out as needles. Through your skin? Or do you need to be wounded firs if not you're tearing you own body open. That could be quite painful. How big are the needles anyway? How much bigger does the second ability make them? Once again ; you don't really give any details. I still don't like the "Makes more blood idea" since the the whole blood as weapon idea reminds me of Deadman Wonderland. Having a finite amount of ammunition makes it more interesting. | |

| Bumped? Why? You haven't changed anything at all. Your first power is to make blood into needles which is limited by the amount of blood in your body. Fine. Second ability is to increase the blood in your body and enlarge the needles. So the question stands: how big are the needles to begin with? How many could you make before the first power? It like an algebra problem;
Spire's 1st power = X number of needles. Spire's second power = 2 x X + Y Solve for X.
Okay, perhaps a bad example, in the end you'll eventually would run out of blood, but that's up to you to roleplay. There is no definite limit or number. The second skill expands on an undefined number seems almost useless and pointless. As for your third skill; NO CERO. Hollow = Cero Visored = Cero, Arrancar = Cero. With that point made the issue of an attack that suddenly become a healing skill. The amount of blood to create such an attack would limit your body to 1-2 at best before you becoming exhausted not to mention some kind of cooldown. Doubt you'd use such a skill rapid fire anyway.
I think your first power should just be the shaping/hardening of your blood. Rather than shooting it and putting yourself at risk you'll fashion blades and armor. You'd be someone like Carnage from the Spider-man series. (Google it)..Shooting could be an option, but you'll weaken yourself eventually even with the boomerang function. | |
