A midnight stroll (Shiori)

Auryuu departed the gate and happened to arrive in a dirty alley. Some kids smoking Marijuana scurried away at his when he touched his foot onto the ground. It was cold and kind of dark tonight not a really good weather for a stroll, but he was already here so it would have to suffice.I must really be bored if I don't have anything to do, but walk around random cities all the time, he thought to himself. Auryuu zipped up his hoodie and pulled his hood up as he walked out of the inhospitable alley. Auryuu was not in his shinigami attire, but still kept his zanpukto at all times, due to his cautious nature.

Moments passed full of endless pacing throughout the street. Auryuu had now gone downtown which would be alive during the daytime and full of people, but being the nighttime was dead and absent of any other detectable life. Auryuu pulled his cell phone out to check the time. It was nearly 2:00 am. Auryuu frowned and leaned against a white building. "I'm so bored", finally he said. He hadn't seen combat for what felt like ages and his squad only sent him to do little things like gathering supplies. He frowned even more realizing he was in a boring rut.

Auryuu began to walk further downtown along the sidewalk looking for something interesting to catch his attention.

Shiori walked down the sidewalk in the city. It was cold outside and Shioris attire consisted of black boots White skinny jeans, a black trench coat and her black hair was down and blew softly in the wind. She walked with her hands in her pockets and hummed a tune to herself softly.
Shiori sighed and stopped walking for a minute. She posted herself up on a wall and sighed. She was really bored and wanted to find something to do but she didnt know what. She looked up and down the main street to find something but nothing. Except for a guy who was walking her way.

Auryuu noticed a figure in the black atmosphere. It took only moments to realize it was a woman. He couldn't see the finer details, but he could atleast identify that. Auryuu kept walking at the same speed and kept his right hand on his sheathed blade, just in case.

"Hello?" He called out to the woman who stood no more than 10 feet from him. "Are you alright?" It was highly unusual for him to see anyone walking when he was out on his "Night walks". Auryuu moved in closer closing the gap before coming to a stop.

Shivers were sent up his spine and he suddenly adjusted his back upright to meet the lady gaze. Am I being too forward or is this suitable, he thought to himself. He tried to look her in the eye, but the darkness left his eyes blinded.

Shiori looked over to The man and she sighed. Her breath came rolling out of her moth as she cocked her right eyebrow. She had never seen this guy before so she decided t investigate. She simply strolled over to him and looked him up and down befor having her golden eyes lock with his.
"Im fine." Shiori said "What about you? Are you okay? Not many people walk out here at night." She says obviously questioning why this man was out her in the cold at about 2 a.m. Not that she could judge. She didnt know herself why she was about so late at night.

Auryuu released his hand from his concealed sword that lay of to the side of his hoodie. "I'm alright, just enjoying a little walk, gives me time to think about things". A small pause now existed between the two of them. Auryuu opened his mouth again, "A pretty lady like you shouldn't be out in the cold, it's not safe, especially not in this town". Auryuu began to think about the threat of the hollows in Karakura town, he didn't like the idea of her being alone outside, hollows weren't exactly merciful.

Auryuu reached his hand out to her offering her to grab it. Auryuu kept a small but tidy house he could take her to, or he could just escort her back home. "Do you want to go back home?", he asked her casually.

Shiori looked at The mans hand then back up to him. She wasnt very trusting when it came to men and this was no diffrent. The only thing was she didnt want to go home so the only thing to do was go with him if she didnt want to be bored for the rest of the night.
"Oh trust me im perfectly safe out here. Its boring at my house and id rather not go home so i guess if youd like to keep me safe and go somewhere else we could. That way we both win." Shiori said smirking. Before she took this mans hand though she should probably introduce herself.
"By the way my name is Shiori." The raven haired girl said calmly. "Its a pleasure to meet you." she said casually as she took the mans hand. "So where are we going to go?" Shiori asked curiously.

Auryuu grasped her hand. It was warm so was his. Auryuu began to speak after awhile, "Likewise my names Auryuu". Auryuu smiled at her, he couldn't take her to her home, but he couldn't exactly just leave her out here in the cold. He said something, that just kinda slipped out, "Would you like to come to my house?". Auryuu found this girl odd, but she was appealing to him in beauty and in a strange kinda wierd feeling way, hard to describe.

He began to think to himself What am I doing? Just inviting a random girl I just barely met to my home, is that really safe? Auryuu sensed a hidden meaning behind the whole win/win comment she had made, but soon shrugged it off. She seemed to innocent to be a danger.

Shiori smirked and looked at Auryuu. "Well well Auryuu inviting a random girl to your house. I wonder what your intentions are?" Shiori said smirking. She enjoyed teasing people and Auryuu was no diffrent. She didnt see him as a threat. After all she was a quincy. She knew he was a Shinigami. She had to keep up with these things and she thought this would be a nice way to find out more about shinigami and soul reapers.
"I see that you skip right to it." Shiori said winking at him. "Well its okay I trust you. Your house is fine. As long as its warm." Shiori says.

Auryuu gave her a confused look, "Intentions what are you talking about come on". Auryuu pulled tugged at her hand a little bit, "You're going to catch a cold if you don't hurry". Auryuu sensed many strange things about this girl, he felt as though she wasn't exactly human, maybe his sixth sense was kicking in.

Auryuu began to walk with her, it was cold, but it was probably colder for her. Auryuu unzipped his hoodie, "Here you look cold". The blue hoodies silver zipper shined in the moonlight as he held it out to her. "Don't be afraid you can take it". Auryuu smiled at her once again. =)

Shioris brain went crazy and it felt like bell was doing cart wheels. Shiori felt Dizzy as she looked at the jacket. "Look Shiori hes being so nice to you. Take his jacket!" Bell said. Bell was the spirit that was latched onto Shiori and she was Shioris best friend. Thank god Nobody could hear bell but Shiori. "Why... why is he being so nice to me?" Shiori asked bell in her thoughts. "Maybe he likes you. Did you ever think of that? Or maybe hes a Gentleman." Bell yelled at Shiori. Shiori just looked at the jacket and then took it in her hand putting it on. She then looked at Auryuu. "Thanks." Was all Shiori could say. Most men wernt this nice to her unless they wanted something. But shiori just had a feeling that she could trust Auryuu.

Auryuu smiled back her, "Don't mention it". Auryuus checks began to get a little red. He started trying to make conversation, but he actually did care about the answers. "Where are you from", he asked her kinda nonchalantly as they began to walk closer and closer to his house.

Auryuu still held her hand, but he really had not noticed it until he had looked down at it. Auryuus mind began to wander. She's cute, but I don't know enough about her, even though I'm a shinigami, I feel safer with her, what is this feeling?. Auryuu had not really felt this feeling since his life in the real world, even though he could only recall it when he had those rolling flashbacks.

He looked deeply into her eyes, they looked innocent enough. Auryuu had a soft spot for people like her. He was secretly infatuated with her.

Shiori looked all around at the night sky. "Well i'm from here." Shiori said. "Iv never really been out of here except to America." Shiori said. She then looked over at Auryuu. "What about you? Where are you from?" Shiori asked curiously. She looked down at the twos connected hand and then back up to Auryuus face. Her gold eyes full of curiosity and calmness.

He looked straight into her gold eyes, before aiming them slightly away to the moon. "Well I'm from Kyoto, but my heritage is from America". Auryuu knew very little about his ancestors, since he was raised by a monk so things like family, never held high positions.

Auryuu looked back into her eyes, giving a faint smile. Before soon he had realized his house, the path up to it was made of concrete and the house was very modernized. Auryuu opened the door for her, revealing a nice bamboo wood flooring, and a plain living room. "Please come in", he motioned for her to step inside.

Shiori looked at Auryuu as they walked and listened to what he said she smiled at him and then they got to his house. Shiori smiled at him and entered his house. She took off her jacket and the one he gave her. Shioris to only covered half of her stomach and her belly button was pierced. Her shirt was also opened in tha back which revield the large cross tattoo that took up her whole back. Shiori then looks to Auryuu. "I like your place." Shiori says looking around.

Auryuu looked at her, she really was beautiful and much different than the other girls, in a good way. Auryuu smiled at her, "thanks I barely ever visit this place anymore". Auryuu couldn't tell her about being a shinigami, so he had to be careful with the hints. "I don't really have girl clothes but you can borrow mine, there's a shower by the bedroom and you can sleep in the large white bed, I'll sleep on the couch".

It was getting late, so he would try to be as hospital as he could to her. He guided her into the bedroom and showed her the bath room. "Heres everything you should need clothes are in the dresser and towels next to the door if you decide to take a shower, is there anything else you need?", Auryuu looked at her with a caring smile.

Shiori smiles and looks at Auryuu. "No this is fine." Shiori says before she grabs a long button up flannle and two towles. She the disappears into the bathroom. She was very thanlful for Auryuu being so nice to her.
Shiori stripped down and she hopped into the shower. She turned the water on so it was hot and tnd she let it run all over her body. Her long dark hair hair became wet enough for her to wash and she used some shampoo she found. She then rubbed down with some soap. After getting all Clean Shiori stood there for about 15 minutes.
Once Shiori was done she wrapped a towle around her body and one around her hair. She looked in the mirror at herself and sighed. She didnt know Shinigami could be so nice so she needed to find a way to do something for her host. Shiori thought of what to do and got dressed. She slipped the towles off of her body. She put her bra back on and then the button up shirt. The shirt went to her mid thighs and then she walked out of the bathroom.
Shiori folded up her cloths and put them on her bed. She then went looking for Auryuu.

Auryuu stood in the living room watching television. The t.v. showed nothing but infomercials this late so nothing was too appealing to his eyes. Auryuu held the remote and flipped through what seemed like millions of channels as Shiori was in the shower. Auryuu got up suddenly feeling thirsty.

Auryuu walked his way to the refrigerator opening it and then pulling out a glass and filing it with water, he also filled another one for Shiori. Auryuu walked into the hallway and suddenly stopped. I don't hear the water anymore is she done?

Shiori came out of the door. Auryuu's long shirt came down to her mid thighs and she was fixing her sleeves when she saw Auryuu. "Hey." Shiori said calmly as she stepped in front of him. "Thanks for putting me up for the night." Shiori said walking past him into the kitchen. She hopped up onto the counter and sat there swinging her feet back and forth gently.

Auryuu looked at her, she was really appealing to him. Auryuu began to struggle with his thoughts. "Hey it's no problem here", he said passing her the water glass with a shaky grasp. He looked deeply into her beautiful gold eyes.

"Are you hungry?", he asked her to direct attention away from his awkward shaking.

Shiori takes a drink of her water and she looks at Auryuu. "Ummmm sure something to eat sounds good." Shiori says as she gets down off the counter and walks over to Auryuu and she puts her hand to his forhead looking up at him. "Are you feeling okay?" Shiori questions. Auryuu was warm but just your average warmth.

Auryuu looked at her his eyes twinkled from the light inside and reflected the light off in his pupils. "No I'm fine", Auryuu placed his right arm onto her back side and leaned in closer. Auryuu then placed his left arm and slid it over her forehead. "Are you alright?", he asked her as he leaned closer in to meet her gaze and his lips parted a little bit.

Shiori blushed slightly. She looked at Auryuu and she didnt know what to do. "Hes gonna kiss you Shiori!" Bell said inside Shioris head. Shiori at this point didnt know what to do. She was confused. Why did this guy like her. Nobody ever liked her so why was now diffrent. Nothing was diffrent at this point yet shiori went along with it. "Yeah im fine." Shiori said

Auryuu retracted a little bit at first, "Well that's good", he gave her a smile. Auryuu tracked backwards and into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator filled with various American foods. Auryuu turned to her, and winked at her a little bit, "Do you like American Food?"

Auryuu opened the refrigerator further to show her the contents, and also opened the freezer underneath to show her more. He nearly kissed her, but decided it would be taking advantage of her.

Shiori sighed and practically fell to the floor. She refrained from doing so and walked over to Auryuu. She looked over the context of the freezer and refirdgerator and then over to Auryuu. "I dont really care what you make. Ill eat whatever." Shiori says looking around slightly. She was slightly confused.

Auryuu failed to notice the girls reaction. Instead he smiled at her again and pulled out some easy-mac from the drawers next to the fridge and quickly prepared it and tossed it in the silver microwave. Auryuu turned to Shiori and said something that he had been waiting to say for awhile. "It's nice to have your company here usually I'm always alone". Auryuu frowned a little as he finished that sentence and quickly opened the microwave sliding her easy-mac from across the bamboo wood counter top. "Here", he said as it reached her, he also held out a fork for her.
