Moving in the shadows (Shikuro)

It was in the middle of the day, it was cloudy and it was raining slightly, yet many people were in the street, still busy with work and other stuff, they did not even mind the rain, their work was more important to them at the moment.
In the shadows of the alleys a young boy was moving, he did not want to be seen due to some less friendly people being on his tail, but he had so far been able to avoid being caught, but he had pissed them off a little too much, and they had therefore spread out more people to find him and make him pay for what he had done.
The boy took a look out from the alley, there were a few thugs standing around while others talked to people, this way was no good, no way they would not notice him take that way.
He slipped back into the shadows of the alley, this was the only way out now, it was only a matter of time before the others on his tail got wind of what direction he went, he had to make sure they completely lost track of him before laying low in one of his hideouts.
Then an opportunity came to him, a few people where walking in group, he hurried in between them, that way he would be able to go unnoticed, and no one would really care if he walked near them, but it did not work as he had hoped, some of the thugs noticed him in the crowd and pointed him out, there was no time to waste, the boy made a 180 degree turn and began running, but he was getting more exhausted by the minute now, outrunning a single group was easy, but outrunning them when they began being more organized was much more difficult to escape them.
In his panic he turned a wrong corner and had to stop, it was a dead end he was now stuck between trouble and a hard place, he was not going to give up on running just though, he tried running up the wall to get hold of the edge of the roof, but it was too high up, he could just barely not reach it, if he had only been a little bit higher, he could get away, he landed on the ground again, and turned to find an escape route, there was one, only there were some people standing on it.
It was one of the underground canals, they were not widespread, it was a project by seretei to expand their sewer system to Rukongai making it more habitable there, but it never really seemed to be completed, still it was a good way to get around unnoticed to some specific areas, but it did not help at the moment, as the thugs were getting closer and the entrance was behind them now.
The boy was forced into a corner "There is nowhere left to run kid, this time you won't make it out alive"

Shikuro was just taking a lazy stroll through the streets of rukongai, getting a rather nostalgic feeling over him as he did, he could remember back, from the time before the whole Shinigami deal, ofcourse seeing Shinigami's casually walking through would be a sight for wonders, Shikuro had done it so much by now that people didn't seem to really notice as much as the first time he did it, even more when he did it his first time after becoming the vice captain of squad 11.
Though ofcourse Shikuro, wasn't exactly sticking to the main routes, he went about as he liked walking past some of the places he used to live at, ofcourse even he couldn't remember all the places.

Some rather interesting kind of people where running about, and they didn't really look that friendly. It didn't take a whole lot of knowledge n how the Rukongai worked to know they where out to harm somebody, or someone if there a person that can be that unlucky. Shikuro ofcourse wouldn't really want them to go amock on somebody, even less kill someone. So he went forward, picking up pretty soon where they where going and where it was about to go bad at. He stopped up, looking into the alley for a moment. The comment not really falling well into his ears, but that these guys where only after a kid was what surpriced Shikuro the most, and with this devious intent aswell.
Shikuro used just one flash step, the aggresive people wouldn't even notice him before his was right infront of them, sending a elbow into the first following out by kicking the 2nd out, then puncing a third out he would then move with a bit delay compared to the other 3 over to the fourth grabbing him by the head throwing it down onto the underground canal opening which would basicly knock him out aswell.
He'd then sigh deeply, this wasn't the first time he had stopped someone from hurting another in unfair fights.
"Sheesh... these guys really don't know how to pick a fair fight..."
He'd then turn slowly, around to face the kid.
"You alright?"
