| Arawn adjusted his mask on his face. Although he wasn't well known in Rukongai he didn't want to give anyone the chance to identify him. It was already nighttime in the eastern district, his dark garb helped him blend into the shadows as they lengthened. Normally he enjoyed nighttime. It was quiet and peaceful time to the day. A lazy atmosphere fill the air. But tonight he had a purpose; a robbery. Arawn was by nature a quite law abiding citizen, but this was for the mission he was entrusted. He had resolved himself to do anything it took to complete the task before him, but even he was hesitant to take this big step. He quickly hid himself in an alley. The streets were almost empty now, most had settled into their homes. Empty streets worked well for him. The fewer witnesses the better should be be caught. If he was successful the rumor of the dark figure attacking would spread. If not it would take many other nights like this one until his infamy spread. He sighed. Did he really have to do this? As he thought about it, this was the lesser of many evils. Murder or arson were the only other activities that might grab some attention of the the seedy underground. Doing something too extreme and he might get the attention of the shinigami. That was the last thing that he wanted. It would very hard to explain what he was doing in Rukongai. Arawn sighed again. He dispelled those thoughts and returned to the current task. A woman walked by his hiding spot, even if he was faking being a criminal he wasn't about to lower himself to assaulting an unarmed woman. Another woman, this time with a child holding her hand. There was no reason to attack a child, they had nothing of value. As he sat contemplating the situation, he thought he spied an academy student uniform. A grin came to his face beneath the mask. An attack on a student would help raise his fame. True, he still ran the risk of shinigami involvement, but with any luck the student would be embarrassed to admit a simple bandit had bested them. Except the approaching student the street was clear. Despite his uneasiness things were looking favorable. Arawn waited for the student to get closer and jumped out. "Your money or your life." he declared pulling his disguised zanpukto. The silver blade shone in the fading light. "I pray you value your life more." | |

| Tariasha walked down the eastern side of the rukonagi, he was told that he must learn more about the rukongai so he thought it would be best to visit it then to read out of a book, he knew of many thugs hanging about and kept his zanpakutou next to him. He suddenly turned to a empty street, he looked around and jotted in his notebook, when a man jumped out with a zanpakutou 'Your money or your life' Tariasha smiled, 'What is this the wild west now?' he placed his notebook away and drew his zanpakutou, 'bring it on', he stood in a defensive stance and was ready to use any neccessary moves, he dropped his zanpakutou and picked it back up (along with some dirt which he hid) and stood back ito defense | |

| Dropping his weapon showed that the student was obviously nervous. This was probably the first time he'd face an opponent. The thing was he didn't want to hurt him too much. But just enough to show what he was capable of. He made a wide horizontal swing at the student from the left. It was all motion and very little power. Something easy to block. In the darkness the opponent probably wouldn't noticed that he had turned the blade around. He was only striking with the blunt side of his zanpukto. | |

| Tariasha saw the incoming attack and riposted the attack with a block and lunge, the lunge was only to set the standard of attacks and was not aimed at any particular killing area but at his kidney, he had two anyway. He threw the dirt at the eyes of the man to blind him for a while and cause discomfort, as he kicked out towards his chest to disrupt the breathing pattern and maybe wind him, but closely watching the zanpakutou, how could he have a zanpakutou? did he steal it? no matter after he won he would take it back to the academy to hand it in. | |

| The student blocked his strike easy enough and pressed forward. He took a step back to avoid the blow to his side. And then came the sand. Throwing dirt into the opponent's eye was a smart tactic. Unfortunately, Arawn's glasses shielded him from the blinding attack. But it did obstruct his vision enough for him to barely notice the incoming kick. He raised his arm left arm and cushioned the blow. There was still enough force to push him further back. Arawn smiled again beneath his mask. Here he was thinking he'd scored an easy mark, and the student was putting up a decent fight. "Guess we can step it up abit." he muttered. Stepped forward and swung his blade from his left at the other man's knee. With his left hand he pulled his sheath from his hip and swung it like a club at the other man's head. Then he dropped into a low sweeping kick. | |

| Tariasha fell to the floor as he had been cut at the knee , hit on the head and kicked on the ground, he had to admit this bandit knew more than he thought, so he had to use something that could prevent his robbery or even his death. 'Bakudo no 9# Geki Disintegrate, you black dog of Rondanini!! Look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat!' He cast it at the bandit completely paralysing him, he knew that it would not hold for long so he used his sheath to prop himself up. The blow on the head was really starting to make him dizzy so it was hard to move, but moved to the bandit and pulled off his mask. Tariasha almost froze with shock when he saw Arawn, he couldn't believe it but then he fell and was looking up at the night time sky, and closed his eyes. *Loses consciousness* | |

| Arawn sighed as the spell of paralysis faded. With the student knocked out he the spell wouldn't last too long. He was abit surprised, not many students used kido. He hadn't expected it otherwise he would have planned accordingly. He bent over and retrieved his mask. The street was still empty. As he put the cloth back on he took a good look at the unconscious man. He looked familiar. That could be both good and bad. If he was someone he knew he might try to alert someone. It was a good thing he had an alibi. Before leaving Serietei he had added himself to a list of people going to an expedition. Supposedly he was somewhere in South America studying the rain forest. He rifled through the young man's pockets; he found a money pouch. It was only a small sum, he would hardly miss it. Arawn dragged the body and propped it against a wall. The man would live, he'd wake up with a bad headache at best. He shook his head and disappeared into the darkness.

| Tariasha awoke in the morning with a thumping headache and was leaning against a wall, he wondered if anyone had taken his ... nope his zanpakutou was still next to him. On his way back to the academy he thought hard about what he had saw, he was amazed at how well he did, should he tell someone of what happened last night, no maybe he should confront Arawn inside the academy that way he would be sort of safer fromanother attack. Without his money he couldn't afford to buy a gift for Rensu which he was going out with at the moment. He went ot Rensu's room where she healed up his cuts and bruises and they spoke of what happened although he kept the bandits identity to himself. Now everyone within the sereitai knew that a shinigami had been attacked and they were on high suspicion when walking around the Rukongai for a masked figure. | |
