(OOC: erm this is my application for my third shikai ability, hope its all okay)
Kaiyo had grown in power, she could feel it, now she just needed Tenrai Zenpyou to give her some more to work with, Kaiyo wasn't scared of much, but Tenrai was definately something she was scared of, last time she had asked the nasty woman for help she had beaten the young girl within an inch of her life. Still Kaiyo was an optimist, and she prayed Zenpyou would be teaching her the new technique. In the usual way Kaiyo was in her field, its had been a long time since she had last visited it, but it was still how she remembered, the wind still danced along the slightly long grass and the sun still shone down hard on the open field, all around Kaiyo could feel herself being engulfed by her surroundings, she let out a small sigh before opening her eyes again.
'Miss me?' the sarcastic voice of Tenrai rang through Kaiyo's ears, the young girl got up slowly and grinned, 'Well my wounds have healed if thats what you mean' she giggled. The womans face became less sarcastic and more angry, score, Kaiyo chuckled to herself. Zenpyou took a step forward to Kaiyo and began talking, as ever his voice clear and powerful, 'Alright Kaiyo we have watched you grow in power, and now we'll let you learn something else, but you must do as we say. Understood?' Zanpyou's voice always seemed to draw in the blonde girl, almost mesmerising her, Kaiyo nodded politely.
'Alright then Kaiyo to learn our new power you must first understand why we fight and why we must balance dark and light' Kaiyo couldn't help stiffle a giggle, 'Sounds like Star Wars' she exploded, laughing until it became very akward Kaiyo coughed abit, 'Yeah your right its not even funny' she replied quietly. The lion sighed and continued, 'We are called Tenrai Zenpyou, do you even remember what that stands for?' he was obviously getting quite annoyed now. Kaiyo fidgeted akwardly for a moment, throwing a cry for help glance over to Tenrai, who decided that was the young girl's way of saying, your turn!
The domineering woman took a step forward so she was in line with the lion, she let out a small sigh and leaned in to the blonde girl, 'Tenrai Zenpyou' she said in a slow patronising voice, 'Yeah saying it slower will make me remember' Kaiyo mumbled to herself, praying the scary woman didn't hear her. Looking to the top right of her vision Kaiyo thought for a while, It's gotta be along the lines of dark and light so, her eyes glinted with inspiration as she turned back to the pair, 'Divine Omen' she called in a proud voice.
Something unusual happened when she called their name the usual black floor and white celing split, a large crack appearing in the middle of the vast space, on one side the room was black, ironically enough thats where Tenrai was standing, and the other side of the room white, the lion roared down to her, 'See what happens when the balance is wrong, you must not choose a side, instead you must unite them both!'. Kaiyo was hanging off the ledge in between black and white, the irony wasn't quite lost on her but she felt it was particularly the best time to enjoy it. Trying to pull herself back up onto one of the side's simply made it unstable and she couldn't climb up.
Below her Kaiyo tried to focus, she saw a dim yellow glow, looking from one side to the other Kaiyo was really trying not to panic, 'Unite the dark and light' Tenrai screamed at her, kicking over the girls Zanpaktou, Kaiyo took one hand off the ledge to catch her sword, loosing her balance she began to fall, digging in her sword to the white side of the hole, it wouldn't hold out for much longer and still both Tenrai and Zenpyou stood motionless, watching her nearly die.
'I said don't pick a side, pick both!' she yelled as the white wall began to crumble around the girls Zanpaktou, 'Isn't that like sitting on the fence though?' Kaiyo quickly turned her body and dug her sword into the other side looking behind her as the white side became less stable, the yellow light was becoming dimmer and dimmer. Both Tenrai and Zenpyou were yelling at her 'Just shut up for a second!' Kaiyo screamed.
Tenrai, divine, Zenpyou, Omen, two halves of a whole, two sides of a fight, Kaito opened her eyes with a sudden realisation, 'both dark and the light!'. Kaiyo sword had crumbled out of the side, she held tightly her zanpatkou and jumped up,landing one foot on either side, keeping her balance and bridging the gap. As Kaiyo stood there the sides began to meld together again, still one side blac and the other white, but this time together and touching, Kaiyo swung her Zanpaktou out in front if her and stabbed it into the ground, it took her a few attempts to get it standing in both sides. Taking her hand off the handle of her sword she put it on the bottom of the hilt and called out, ' Chouwa no Tomishibi'. Starting from the exact point where Kaiyo had dig her sword in the ground began to glow an electric yellow, encompassing the entire plane for at least a 2 mile radius, shooting up from the ground with an electric buzz, her new attack, destroying anything in its path, with pure energy mixed with lightning, Kaiyo's stared in awe, her eyes wide and her smile massive.
'Wow' was all she managed to call, Kaiyo opened her eyes again and stared at the field in disbelief, she had destroyed the entire field, the trees and grass had been scorched and the cute fenses left behind only dust, Kaiyo gulped loudly, and ran!
