Another Day, Another Lazy Escape (open)

Isaac was intrigued when he saw the captain shingamis sword change, but something else caught his eye it was a female in plated armor."Isaac stop daydreaming you need to focus on these beasts"dalrag yelled as he grabbed a hollow in mid jump that was targeting isaac."thanks for that" Isaac said as he punched another hollow in the head."yo Dalrag target those bigger ones with youre earthen telekinesis".as isaac said that dalrag focused on the stone around him and lifted them then tossing the rocks at the huge hollow hoping it could immobilize it.

Junko was so near the blast when it came that she originally thought it hit her, however the blur that flashed past her, and the fact that she was still flying, or falling slowly, Junko righted herself in the air, and she heard words from the ground. The 2nd squad sneaky chum, apparently trying to lecture her, a whimper of anger turning her Fire's from an orange to a deep blood red. "Orders? What orders? And don't you lecture me." Junko decided to overlook the fact that she had been called stupid, and unleashed a torrent of fire at the arriving flying hollows. With the slash of her blade, her fire shot out from the blade, turning the 5 approaching hollows to nothing more than black dust.


Junko decided that it was imperitave that she engage a Menos, there being 2 left she opted for the furthest one. Shunpo'ed once, using it to gain momentum under her wings, and she maintained that momentum until she pulled up, to head level with the menos until she had to flap her wings again, but even so she was a long way off.

The Menos charged its Cero, which Junko was waiting for, She folded the wings behind her back, tucking them in, the armor plates out stretched on the wings... And she shunpo'ed three times, twice above it, to make it aim its cero away from the city, and once just below the mask, leaving it open for her to slash away at the menos... Which she attemped to do so, flame spewing from the tip of her blade as she swung upward, attempting to obliterate the hollow's mask.

Kuro did not even attempt to stop Junko as she stubbornly continued to target the menos. He had been prepared for such an action since her character seemed to be the type that didn't like being told what to do. As she flew over to the hollow, Kuro began to chant facing in its direction.

"Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Hado #33: Sōkatsui!"

Kuro timed his chant with Junko's movements, pointing his index and middle finger in the direction of the menos' mask as Junko passed out of his line of fire. A blast of ice blue energy burst from Kuro's fingers and sailed over top of Junko to meet the hollow's face as her flames soared at it. The blast exploded into a wave of energy, engulfing the menos as Kuro's power was released in the spell. Even from his distance, Kuro could clearly hear the anguished cry of the beast as the spell burned its now fading body.

The final menos didn't seem to be frightened by the actions of Junko and Kuro. It continued to mindlessly march in the directions of the reiatsus it sensed. Kuro poured a generous amount of spirit power through his arm into his zanpakuto and shot through the air directly at the giant hollow's face. Upon meeting it's mask, Kuro smashed his left arm forward, fueling a devastating blow that sent cracks blossoming out all along the surface of the faceplate. The menos began to fall over backwards as it faded, tripped by the momentum of Kuro's attack. He remained overhead as he finished off this final threat and looked down at the mass of hollows fighting the others and prepared to help out.

"Tsk." Tatsuya grunted at his companion's stubbornness before watching her charge at the other menos. "Well if she wants a quick death..." He began thinking to himself before getting interrupted by a group of hollows that surrounded him. "Heh, don't be silly." He commented as he charged at the hollow in front of him, slashing at it horizontally and cutting through it across it's chest. He made quick work of another hollow just before hearing the scream of a female child soul not far away. He turned around to see a hollow chasing the young child, but he was blocked by two hollows. "Oh no you don't." He stated as he threw his zanpakuto towards the hollow chasing the the child. It was spinning through the air like a buzz-saw before impaling itself through the hollow's head. The little girl just kept running, not knowing that the hollow was already dead. "Good. Keep running." Tatsuya thought as he turned his attention back to the hollows in front of him as one spit out some slime on his shihakusho. The slime immediately began to eat away at it, causing Tatsuya to just as quickly rip it from his body. "Neat trick." He stated as he threw the upper portion of his shihakusho towards the spitting hollow and flash stepping into the air. As the hollow got distracted and spit more slime at it, Tatsuya came down hard with a kick to it's head, slamming it to the ground and causing a crater to appear beneath it before it disappeared. Tatsuya didn't have time to react as another hollow came from behind and slashed him across his back giving him four deep gashes. Tatsuya grunted loudly in pain as he took one step foward and turned to see the hollow that attacked him. As he completed his turn the hollow was coming at him with another swipe of it's right claw. "Bastard." Tatsuya stated as he stepped in and hooked his left arm around the hollow's arm and breaking it. "Thanks for the helping hand." He stated before ripping it's arm off its body causing the hollow to step back in pain, letting out a howl. Tatsuya quickly pointed the hollow's arm towards it's previous owner and shoved it through the hollow's throat. Tatsuya, finishing off the group of hollow's took a series of deep breaths, he couldn't remember the last time he had fought so many hollows and it was beginning to take it's toll.

Isaac saw the large man fighting many hollows handiling them like they were nothing, but he saw a croud of hollows swarming dalrags feet"stomp them before they tear you to pieces"isaaac shouted at dalrag"doesnt it look like i know this isaac, also you dont have to shout youre right next to my head"dalrag yelled as he stomped the crowd of hollows. Isaac jumped down from his huge doll to deal with one hollow clibming up his dolls leg"where do you think youre going"he shouted as he grabbed the hollow by its leg and tossing it to the ground then stomping its mask in with his foot.

Junko felt the blast of energy wizz by her, inches from becoming an interfereance. She flipped in midair, her wings assisting her in the process acting like a gyroscope, She now faced away from the menos, preparing to yell at the man. When she was hit from behind with several claws...

The claws were from a large, pterodactly like hollow, which dove from several hundred feet, and had caught her wings as apposed to her head, But the effect was likely the same. Junko's pain receptors in the brain could not handle the pain from the broad surface of the wings, which had large tears from the hollow's attack, and she passed out if briefly, And fell to the ground her shikai form no longer existing since she was unconcious and her form shrank as she fell to the ground, her wings collapsed and her armor shrank back into its previous form.

As she fell the wounds from her wings were transfered to where the wings sprouted from, deep gashes several inches thick, and while covered by the wings that were on her armor, blood still poured profusely from them, streaming from her back as she fell, She regained conciousness 20 feet from the ground, just in time to think, "Oh shi", before inpact.

The crater formed from her impact was impressive, Junko landed mostly on her upper back, as a result from curling her head in just before impact, which gouged her wounds from the wings even more. She screamed in pain, but not for long, she gritted her teeth and bore the pain. She had approxamately a 15 year old body now, she didn't look that much different, but certainly younger and abit less curvy.

She struggled to her feet, blood falling down her back, inside and outside her armor. She scanned the surroundings quickly, looking for her sword, which was no where to be found. but the scanning of the surroundings yielded a different result, one that turned up a wolf hollow bounding quickly at her, It looked harmless enough, bar the flesh that was caught in its teeth. Junko quickly yelled, "Hado 16, Sonic Wave Arrow!" Junko cast it, and the hollow was cut in half veritcally, just before it was in range to leap at her, she almost let down her guard. She needed to get to the main battle, and assist her comrades in combating the threat. So she started walking to the commotion in the distance, looking for her sword along the way...

Kuro noticed Junko's predicament too late to reach her and stop her fall to the ground. All around the battle, things seemed to be getting more dire. The amount of hollows was enough that even with the shinigamis' and bount's superior skills, fatigue would eventually set in and could cause fatal mistakes. Kuro thought his next move carefully and lowered himself to the ground. He resealed his zanpakuto, as its power compression ability automatically hampered his reiatsu signature from detection, something that he needed reversed if he was to offer relief to his allies. Settling on a spot a small distance from the main fight with the mass of hollows, Kuro flared his reiatsu out in sufficient quantity to attract the hollows without overpowering and frightening them. Attracted to this stronger energy, the hollows slowly began to tear their attention away from the other shinigami and the bount, and begun slinking closer to Kuro's position.

Kuro took a fighting stance and began to fight the hollows as they approached. Smashing a lizard-like hollow's mask with a well aimed palm thrust, he continued to watch the horde of hollows as they came closer. A wolfish hollow managed to clamp its teeth on his wrist as he punched through the mask of another, but its teeth proved unable to rip into his flesh, leaving only minor puncture wounds. Kuro grunted as he heaved and tossed the hollow to the ground.

Try increasing your spirit power before taking me on mutt.......that should be enough.

Kuro felt that now was time for his plan to bear fruit. A large majority of the swarm of hollows had made its way into a tightly packed mob surrounding him. Looking to the sky, he caught sight of a large hawk shaped hollow. Perfect... Kuro leaped up past the hawk, who began to fly up in his direction. Pointing both index fingers at the advancing bird, Kuro chanted, "Ye lord! Mask of blood and flesh, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! On the wall of blue flame, inscribe a twin lotus. In the abyss of conflagration, wait at the far heavens. Hado #73: Sōren Sōkatsui!"

Kuro's spell shot two streams of blue energy soaring down at the hawk. As Kuro's previous spell on the menos had done, the beams met the hawk and exploded into a spreading wave of energy that descended on the hollow covered field beneath Kuro in a massive burst of blue fiery spirit power. The ground was cracked, scorched, and scattered as most hollows beneath Kuro were eliminated instantly. Others on the edge of the blast radius escaped with only minor injuries. But the hollow force had been severely diminished. Kuro sank to the ground again, roaring out encouragement for his comrades.

"Don't give up! We can finish them off now! Lets purify these menaces!"

Tatsuya watched in the distance as the female fell onto the ground kicking up some dirt on impact. "Damn it." He muttered to himself, wondering about her current predicament. He took a few steps towards her before he spotted a horde of hollows heading in his direction. Tatsuya had just readied himself for a fight to the death when they stopped in their tracks and headed off in a different direction as if drawn by something. It didn't take long to realize that his captain's reiatsu was drawing them closer to him. "Good luck, Captain." He thought as the horde closed in on him. Using shunpo Tatsuya headed in the female's direction to aid her, forgetting that he left his zanpakuto behind. Tatsuya stopped about mid way to the female as Captain Kuro attacked the horde. "Oh boy." Tatsuya thought as he picked his guard just as the attack connected with the horde of hollows causing a shock wave and dust to come from the attack. Tatsuya lowered his guard as the dust settled and saw hollow horde had diminished greatly. "Now this is more like it." Tatsuya smiled after hearing Captain Kuro's words. His smile quickly disappeared when he was attacked by a semi-invisible hollow. Tatsuya barely noticed the light bending with his peripheral vision. He turned to his left and took a step back to try and escape the hollow, but it was too close when he noticed. As he took the step back he could vaguely see the hollow as it clawed at his chest. He let out a scream in pain before throwing a punch forward with his right hand only to miss it. The hollow took to Tatsuya's wide open right side and slashed at him again with it's big claws, opening up more wounds and causing Tatsuya to scream out more and drop to one knee. "SENKO!" Tatsuya yelled in rage creating a bright flash causing the hollow to howl. "DUST WIND!" He yelled again kicking up a little dust that circled around him outlining the hollow. Both kido spells, without incantations or classification, were weak but effective. Tatsuya turned his head too see the outlined hollow, still holding rubbing its eyes. He quickly got up from his knee, doing so opened his cuts more, spilling out more blood, but he didn't care. He was enraged as he punched through the hollow's abdomen and then quickly withdrawing said punch. "DIE" He yelled while grabbing hold of the hollow's head and picking it up just before slamming it head first into the ground, smashing it's head open like a watermelon. Tatsuya breathed heavily as he slowly began to walk towards the direction he was heading for before he got interrupted, gripping his open wounds as he walked.

Isaac saw the woman hit the ground but he couldnt move an inch, more and more hollows surrounded him and dalrag"damn, im gonna need some help here"isaac yelled as he punched another hollows face in. Dalrag grabbed another one and ripped it in two and threw the pieces at other ones. Isaac prepared to punc another one until a rat like one came from the side and bit isaac in the arm. Isaac gritted his teeth and punched it in the face cracking its mask making it run away. Isaac looked at his arm it was a small gash in his forearm. Isaac grabbed a piece of cloth from his back pocket and wrapped it around the wound."this is nothing"he shouted as he grabbed another hollow by its head and twisted its neck."Isaac this is starting to become a nuisance" dalrag said as he picked isaac up and put him on his shoulders. Isaac watched as the tall shinigami get hit."dalrag time to use youre power" as isaac said that dalrag focused on the buildings and rocks around him and lifted them. Dalrag threw all the rocks in the mass of hollows that were swarming him and started to walk towards the tall shinigami.

Junko limped through to the Sneaky Shinigami, the tall one... Blood streamed down her back, leaving a trail behind her. Through blurred eyes she saw no sword, only hollows, and then light, the shock from the blast brought her to her knees.

She returned to her feet, refocused, the blast the sort of wake up slap you get in the morning, She realized that there were still a few hollows, especially a few heading for herself...

A panther hollow, which was sprinting at her at a blistering pace, something that evolution granted to the finest of species. It was running from the oppisite direction of the blast, so it was not wounded. It came at her at an angle, and curved in. Junko reached for the empty space above her sheath, and quickly realized her flaw, she had no sword, and before she could react again, the Panther was upon her, but it morphed at the moment of contact, becoming more of a Werecat than anything else, Its paw, with wickely sharp claws extended, scraped across her armor, it penetrated but did not cut the skin, just grazing across it.

It proceded to grapple with her, forcing her to the ground, her smaller and younger self was easily pinned, and She cried out in pain, landing on her back was not pleasant, She struggled to fight back, keeping the WereCat's paws away from her neck with frantic guards and holds... She just figured a way to get out of this in a panicked mind, when the Panther got off her, morphing back into a panther and fleeing back to the night...

It turns out with good reason, the moment she sat up from her back she was hit hard from behind, from the explosion... She was flipped up and up, a rhino hollow with a razor sharp, blade like horn Which she was luckily not hit with the first time which would have surely resulted in death, however since she was flipped into the air, the rhino tried to get under her to skewer her to death, But it was not to be, by a miraculous effort, she conformed her body away from the horn, but not entirely dodging it, the horn running down the already penetrated front of her armor, forming a gash horizontal to her waist...

And fate had another card to play, as a rock flew in, smashing the rhino... Junko rolled to a stop, she picked herself up slowly, pain rushed in to greet her, and still she rose, no hollows chased her now... She was slowly passing out, the pain dulling her senses, the world fading away...

Everyone was regrouping, good. The bad thing was that Junko was in trouble. It reminded Kuro of past experiences. Some were where he'd been in the shape she was now in. Others he had to help out allies. Teamwork made them strong, something that these low level hollows never seemed to realize.

Kuro shunpoed to Junko's side and began to cut any hollow that dared to get too close. He didn't like this. He was forced to continue fighting while her condition was getting worse. He blamed himself because of his immature release of his reiatsu all for the purpose of overdoing it one a single bount doll. He had to keep Junko safe until Tatsuya and Isaac could join them and help cover her. Standing close by he silently vowed that he would not let any of his allies here die. Luckily, that vow would not be hard to keep. The hollows were now few in number, and fear was starting to show through their instinctive hunger. Just a little more and they would retreat. Kuro was determined to make that happen all the sooner.

"I do believe we are winning Captain." Tatsuya commented as he reached his destination. Tatsuya moved his head to the left as a hollow fist flew by behind him. He stepped back and attacked the hollow positioned behind him with a right elbow to the chest. "You thought I didn't notice you." He followed up with a one-two punch to the solar plexus and the head before ripping off its head. He took a position closer to the female shinigami. "It's not nap time yet, Miss." He smiled and walked closer to her.
