A Demonstration (Open to mostly Academy Students but anyone able may join)

It was kinda early atleast early for Shikuro, he usually worked just that longer the day before to be able to sleep most of his morning trobls away, yet today he had too do something that wasn't exactly based on whenever he wanted to do it, since that he had no say in.
He was slowly walking down along the academy, bandage around his right leg, from a minor accident the day before. Nothing that should keep him from doing this atleast. A yawn slipped his lips as he was walking around trying to find where the heck he was even supossed to go,yesterday it had seemed so easy to find but yet today it seemed more confussing. Proberly just cause he was more tired than yester day.

He was proberly a bit early on it, but it didn't matter than he could sit there and think about what he exactly should say to these people, it was quite bothersome really, yet still he really wanted to make this right. After a few mistakes he had found his way to the place where he was suppossed to be and yes he was a bit early he moved with quick steps up upon the stage taking a around to see if there actually was anyone then really not carring as it wouldn't be a whole lot of people if anyone had shown up early, he then quickly went to the side of the room to get some water splashed into his face and wait for the students to arrive.

Daisuke walked down the hall with three of his fellow students. They were on their way to a demonstration. They had been told to be there a little early so that they could help with anything that might need their help. He was excited. He had never been to a demonstration before, and he didn't even know what it was about. His fellow students discussed it, saying it could be a demonstration of a bankai, or maybe a shikai. But did that really matter? It's a demonstration. It's supposed to teach them a little something. It could even be a demonstration of combat? But probably not. As the four of them walked, Daisuke grew more ecstatic. He was really looking forward to this.
As they arrived at the room Daisuke looked around only to see that there wasn't really anyone there. There were a few other students, and then him. He walked up close to the stage and looked around. If he could stand as close as possible then he could really learn a lot by studying both movements and spiritual wavelengths. He searched his pocket, only to realize that he had forgotten his notebook, and even his pen. What great timing for the memory to slip! He'd have to save it all in a file in his head then, and then write it all down when he gets back to his class room.

Kaiyo seemed almost more eager than the average pupil for this demonstration. Of course she held different reasons for this, but she was grinning regardless. Since adopting her disguise, the girl had missed a lot of her friends, in particular her Vice Captain. So getting a chance to watch Shiku demonstrate some sword skill sounded interesting to say the least. In a way, Kaiyo found it quite funny, she could silently watch his performance and all the while feign ignorance to such matters. It was brilliant.

The girl took a deep breath in, inhaling the whirring reiatsu's around her; indeed excitement was in the air and Shiku was already in the hall. Hidden in a small group of bustling students, she filled into the hall with them. Only just visible when they dispersed to find seats; she'd made it in good time as well it seemed. Kaiyo ebbed along the seating, trying to get a good view from the front row she took a seat.

Kaiyo lifted her hat up slightly, making direct eye contact with Shiku as she grinned widely. Genuinely happy to see him again. Conversations flew past her ears, thoughts on the demonstration it seemed. Kaiyo highly doubted it would involve him releasing his Shikai, but he might do. Though the reputation of the leading representative of the 11th squad hung on Shiku's shoulders. Kaiyo bounced up and down on her seat happily, waiting for it to start.

The was news of a demonstration at the academy. Normally this wasn't anything interesting for Arawn, but he also heard that Shikuro was somehow involved. After their last encounter he wondered how the man was doing. Perhaps after the show he could try apologizing again for his behavior. At the same time it was a chance to get away form the office. The recent projects didn't need him, the machines were doing all the work. He could leave for a good three hours or more and no one would miss him. Taking off his lab coat on he made way to for the academy. It took several moments to find the location of the demonstration even after asking for the directions three times. He took a place near the entrance, so he could leave if the need arose. At the same time wanted to be able to see all of the stage.

Shikuro could hear the crowd slowly forming out there, and thought that pretty much was reason enough for him to step up onto the stage, just before doing so, he lets his hands run over the bandages on his chest making sure it held up nicely. After confirming that he stepped up on the stage, as he walked over to the middle of the stage, while doing so he let his eyes shearch over the crowd catching onto a few familiar faces, sending a smile back to anyone who did so to him, he looked happy, he stepped alittle lighter down on his right leg but else than that he looked more than fine.

He took a deep breath, waiting for the crowd to settle down alittle, people finding their places and the few sellect people to quickly get into the hall. Ofcourse others could show up later, he just waited a few more moments wanting the most people possible.
He then bowed down before the crowd then standing up tall and proud.
"First off I'd like to say thank you all for comming, unfortunally I wont be able to go though with a full demonstration due to some recent injurries I aquired yesterday, but none the less I'll priorities your wishes and show you just about anything you want and answer whatever questions you'd like, within my capabellities ofcourse"
He raised an eyebrow, wanting to see their reactions too just that, some might have some questions allready might not all be relevant or some might have urges too see something. He wasn't really sure weather he should have postponed the demonstration to a better time, but that was alittle to late now.
"Soo... anything you'd like I should I just pick something?"
He stood their asking out to everyone, not really sure weather this was a good idea, yet he'd do his best not too disappoint anyone.

(I've typed this 4 times now and non of them went through. I'm a little frustrated now XP )

Misaka was watching the stage, but instead of sitting down he leaned against the side wall. He came in a moment ago and since most of the seats were taken and the others not easily reachable he leaned against the wall.

Misaka was excited for the demonstration, but at the same time he was think about how this could help better himself. He knew that many of the students came just because there would be a chance to see a bankai, but that wouldn't help them any other than maybe humble themselves... and amusement.

Misaka wanted to see the captain in a mock battle or show some simple sword movements. Watching how an experienced fighter moved with their weapon is a great way to learn what is useful and also able to judge his own abilities. Plus he knew that some others would ask for a demonstration of the awesomeness of a bankai.

But he didn't want to be the first one to ask for something so Misaka would wait a little while before hand.

Daisuke looked up at the stage as the shinigami went on. He was looking a little nervous. But even Daisuke was nervous. But probably for a different reason. He had a question, but he was pretty sure that this Shinigami wouldn’t be able to help with it. Still he had to try it out. Once the question was asked, an arm from the front row was raised and he stood up. He knew it was rude, but he had to get this question off his chest. He was feeling really nervous now, his heart beating faster for every second he stood there.
“Sir. Could you show us how to do Healing Kido?”
He managed to get the words out of his mouth without his usual nervous shuddering. He looked up at the shinigami with eyes full of anxiety and expectations. He wanted to see. He had only seen Kuroi do it, and had only tried it once. If he could see it here again, he could study it further and maybe learn to do it soon. Chances are low however, but it’s still there. Just staring at the shinigami, he actually forgot to blink.

Kaiyo shuffled slightly awkwardly in her seat, trying to draw as little attention to herself as possible. In keeping with that idea, she hadn't planned on saying anything, until someone had called to see a healing Kidou. Two words that should never be uttered in such a situation, or separately...Or ever. Turning her head slowly in the direction of the suggestor, Kaiyo tried to hide her disgust, ending up just looked very confused and a little ill.

The girl glanced her head over her shoulder, trying to throw her voice as she shouted in a fake voice, 'No, show us your shikai!' This was followed by a few cheers from the audience, students so eager to soak up a bit of power. Kayo twisted back around, rubbing the back of her neck in as casual as manner as she could fake. Her gaze slowly tilting back up to Shiku expectantly, wondering what he had planned for today.

Arawn suppressed a snicker at the mention of healing kido. He doubted that Shikuro could perform such a feat. He had talked to someone about such a skill and it was well beyond him. There was a strong chance the same was true for the 11th squad member. The shikai request seemed more greatly accepted by the mass of students. Such a thing was a more welcome spectacle. But was it wise to show off your abilities like that? When he thought about it hiding your skill from fellow shinigami sounded odd. But in the case of other squad members challenging you to a fight for rank, keeping such a secret could be the difference between winning and losing. It was possible the man was just that confident in his abilities to be doing so. Or merely didn't care. Either way the show must go on.

Shikuro raises an eyebrow, he's rarely very surpriced yet the question for a healing Kido that was new, he tilted his head raising a hand making the students lower their voices as it had seemed people had started trying to overshout the others about seeing the Shikai.
"Alright settle dow I can show you in a bit, but first to answer the first question..."
Shikuro smiled softly looking down at the guy proberly had took alot of courage to ask about such in this kind of crowd.
"Sorry I'm afriad Healing is beyond my power, Though the 4th Squad is known as speciallist, people which I owe alot...."
He takes a deep breath, rolling his shoulder a few time jumping slightly.

Shikuro then looked out on the crowd tilting his head, the mere thought of just showing of your Shikai like that, yes it was sorta private yet these people where ones he was going to fight along side one day, if they realy sought to the matters of abusing their knowledge to attain his Rank then so be it, the rank meant nothing to him really it was just the mere pleasure of contribuating to his beloved squad.
"Just know that all Shikai's are diffrend each varry it will most definetly be suited to diffrend fighting styles that reflect your deepest inner character..."
With those words Shikuro slowly drew out his Zanpakuto, placing it before him, afterwards placing his left hand upon his right wrist, as he did the two black straps of clothe sweapt around both his wrists*
"Blacken them all.... Hikage"
He withdrew his left hand which first was covered with a mass of black shroud only afterwards appearing as a Claw on his whole arm, and on his right wrist appeared a black bladed armguard.
He took a deep breath letting the tip of the blade point down into the ground, watching everyone for their reactions.

Listening to the uproar that went on for a few seconds after the first question was asked and shot down, Misaka couldn't help himself from sighing. Already people had asked to see the shikai and it had only just begun. He couldn't help, but to think how immature some people were.

Though of course he wouldn't deny that what he just saw was pretty cool. The release of any sort of power like this was a new and awesome sight to see. What he saw seemed to be the equipment of a beserker. A giant claw on his whole left side and an arm guard on his right wrist. It was a sight to see for the shinigami student.

Daisuke sat down again. So, no healing kido. It's not like it was the end of the world or anything. It was disappointing yes, but he knew that would most likely be the outcome. now he just had to stick it out for the rest of the demonstration. The cheering for Shikai wasn't really helping his situation though. Somehow he felt distanced from the rest of the crowd. It would be cool to see a shikai, yes, but what could they possibly learn from it? It's not like seeing someone else's shikai would help them train their own.
He looked up at the stage, watching and listening to the shinigami on stage. So, he really is going to unleash his shikai. Thats probably not a good idea, but still, it's his own fault when he entered as he did. And besides, with a crowd like this, it's obvious Shikai is the favorite. As he watches, Daisuke leans back in his chair and looks expecting to see something spectacular, since it IS a shikai.

Kaiyo nodded along with Shiku's words about the 4th squad, the people who undoubtedly saved her life ten times over. Still, her train of thought for them were cut short when Shiku started to jump up and down. Honestly, Kaiyo hadn't actually expected him to release his shikai. Her head whipped around to see only expectant grins dropping onto the faces of the students around her. When did she even start caring so much about safety?...Probably when she couldn't protect everyone.

Her eyes darted up to the stage as Shiku released his shikai, a few students on her row instantly starting to sweat under the increased pressure around them. Their own reiatsu's not yet even fully formed through their time at the academy. Kaiyo looked straight forwards at Shiku. Granted, Shikai was quite amazing, and his seemed pretty good for such displays. Kaiyo rubbed the back of her neck gently, sliding further down into her seat as tugged her hat down lower. 'What about a demonstration?!' she heard from behind. Her gaze piercing up at Shiku to wait for his response.
