- Spoiler:
Lancet – First of the Five Feathers. This technique creates spear of energy stronger than a Quincy’s normal arrow shot. Although it appears to be a beam of light, the energy it’s composed of is spiraled towards the point: A drilling arrow. It’s length measures 3 ½ feet and is quite defined and thin. If the shooter is accurate enough, they will hit exactly on the point within a millimeter. The main draw back is that its size does lower the damage area, but can pierce through the toughest of materials/targets. Rank requirement: 2 Ginto tube requirement: 1 Chant: "A feather cast upon the wind, it seeks freedom, so begins it’s lonely journey.”
Glasern Pyrimade (Glass Pyramid) – An equilateral triangle appears on the ground, size adjusted by will of caster. Crystals two feet high emerge from at each point of the triangle. Light shines from between all the posts creating a shielded area then travels above the target to enclose the space. Like it’s name it resembles a pyramid. Protects target from all directions even beneath their feet. With enough force it can be shattered or canceled by the caster. This technique can be used to keep attackers at bay, or to seal an opponent’s movements. Rank requirement: 1 Ginto tube requirement: 1
Regen (Rain) – fires a burst of energy into the air which explodes much like a firework. Slivers of energy come raining down around the launching point (center) covering a small 20 foot radius. The slivers are shaped like miniature spears and explode shortly after coming in contact with a spiritual being; Hollow, shinigami, other quincy, or superhuman. Otherwise they just disappear. You can subsequently use more Ginto tubes to make a stronger effect, raining more arrows down in a larger radius, 10 additional feet per extra Ginto tube used. Maximum of 3 additional tubes. Rank requirement: 1 Ginto tube requirement: 1-3
Heizen (Sacred Bite) – This technique creates a transparent, rectangular beam of energy from the silver tubes which slices through the opponent. Rank requirement: 1 Ginto tube requirement: 1 Chant:"Feel the wrath of battle and accept this sacred chalice"
Rank 2
- Spoiler:
Duetto – Second of the Five Feathers. This technique creates two balls of light that connect to each other with a band of light. Once the band of light is struck by the target the balls of light fly and entangle. This is a bolo effect; the band of light expands as the lights entrap the target. The duration lasts until broken or dismissed. Rank requirement: 2 Ginto tube requirement: 2
Turm’s Belagerung (Tower's siege) – Using ginto to create a large stationary bow, the quincy is then free to concentrate only on making an large arrow. The concentration of energy makes the arrows more potent and destructive. Works like a ballista. Rank requirement: 2 Ginto tube requirement: 1
Rank 3
- Spoiler:
Saga (Old English for Saw) – Third of the Five Feathers. This skill makes a 2 ½ foot ring of energy that acts much like a buzz saw. It can be launched from the caster’s hand or kept mounted above the hand. It travels slower than most arrow shots. Although it’s ability to cut is strong, it’s a defensive ability is low. It can be shattered with another attack, and once launched it dissipates quickly. (I figured this makes a pseudo close range weapon for the Quincy. Technically not a sword, but it works like one.) Rank requirement: 3 Ginto tube requirement: 1
Wall - Fourth of the Five Feathers. It simply makes a disc of energy a Quincy can use as a directional shield. It is capable of withstanding very strong attacks both physical and energy based. In addition it can be used to ride upon and fly/move. It requires a lot of energy to move so can be a tiring, and it moves only normal speed at best. The energy used to maintain and move the flying disc reduces the Quincy’s power. Shots become weaker due to the strain, but using as a shield is the primary use. Rank requirement: 3 Ginto tube requirement: 1
Chase bomb (can’t think of better name sorry) – Three flames appear before the caster’s hand, they race long the ground (or any other surface) towards the target. They then fuse together then detonate. The spell is limited to some kind of surface; wall, floor, earth, stone, etc. Rank requirement: 3 Ginto tube requirement: 2
Rank 4
- Spoiler:
Shatter – Fifth and Final Feather. This creates a large ball of light that is then hurled at an enemy. Upon detonation this releases an omni directional attack; 360 degrees horizontal and vertical is bombarded with energy spears similar to Lancet. Anything within 20 feet gets skewered. For anyone that’s played a FPS this is a Hedgehog bomb. And like the games this attack is a danger to both friend and foes. Anyone caught in the range will be subject to the attack even the user. The casting time and inability to launch the weapon make it’s uses limited, but is potent when used properly. Rank requirement: 4 Ginto tube requirement: 2
Gravity well. (Schwerkraft-Brunnen) - The Quincy opens two Ginto tubes and spills one in front of him/her and one behind. A large circle encompassing 30 feet around the Quincy is formed. This radius will make it more difficult for everyone other than the user to move. Lowering their speed stat by 10. The hue of this technique is based on the color of the users Reiryoku. Rank Required: 5 Ginto tubes required: 2
Rank 5
- Spoiler:
Gritz (Quintuple Binding Frames) – This technique forms a man-sized pentagonal Quincy cross which envelops its target. Rank requirement: 5 Ginto tube requirement: 1 Chant: "A silver rod strikes the five-fingered stone bed"
Rank 8
- Spoiler:
Wolke - This technique uses a silver tube to create a large blast. While it may not be intended for use as such, Uryū uses it to cushion the impact of a fall. Rank Requirement: 8 Ginto Requirement: 1 Chant: "Tilt the goblet to the west"
