(OOC: i may be being a bit optimistic here but can i try and get some speed and spirit points in this post please)
kaiyo had her orders, and they were not easy, she had to learn another shikai ability. For her task Kaiyo had returned her Shunpo field, she hadn't been there in a long time, and she knew the reason why. Since their last meeting Kaiyo hadn't been so kind to Tenrai, and she was certain she would enjoy their next meeting. 'no way out' Kaiyo announced to herself.
Kaiyo was sitting cross legged in the middle of her field, she lay her Zanpaktou out in front of her, shut her eyes, and cursed her Captain for giving her such a stupid task. Focusing in her breathing Kaiyo called out her sword, as she prepared to enter it's world, Tenrai Zenpyou, she whispered calmly.
Kaiyo opened her eyes and winced, Tenrai (for once) was just standing there watching the girl, laughing at her now, but she was just watching. Kaiyo got to her feet and walked slowly over to her, 'Erm, where's Zenpyou?' she pondered on her walk over. 'The woman flash stepped to behind Kaiyo and whispered in her ear, 'Trust me you won't need him today'. Kaiyo got a little worried at that statement, unsure of what Tenrai had planned.
The tall woman began walking around Kaiyo, inspecting her 'Hmmm, so you want to learn a new ability huh', Kaiyo stared into her eyes and nodded, she continued, 'Well your going to have to prove you can handle it, because from what i''ve seen recently, you don't even deserve to fight with our power,' she yelled into Kaiyo face. Kaiyo clenched her fist at her side and replied, 'What is it with people and making me prove i'm worth things, is my honest word not enough' she giggled. It was at this point Kaiyo realised Tenrai didn't like to be interrupted, or rather it was after she punched her straight in the stomach, winding Kaiyo.
The woman sighed at Kaiyo and continued to kick her backwards, 'You know what kid, your really starting to annoy me! It's not that you don't have the skill to fight your just ignoring it' Tenrai boomed at the young girl. Kaiyo got to her feet and stood still, watching Tenrai, 'Okay fine, what do i have to do?'. Tenrai smiled, 'well at least your willing', she thought for a moment, 'Alright' she cheered, picking up Kaiyo's Zanpaktou and readying her stance, 'I will give your our next abiltiy, if you can get your sword out of my hands'. Kaiyo's expression was blank for a few seconds, registering the information, never one to make a fool of herself Kaiyo burst into laughter, 'Your kidding right, i can't beat you, let alone when you have a sword and i don't!'. Kaiyo continued to laugh for a while longer, slowly realising that the joke wasn't so funny, the young girls expression changed from a big grin to an angry frown within a few seconds, 'Seriously?' she moaned.
Tenrai appeared behind Kaiyo at amazing speed, 'Trust me kid, this'll be good for you', she stabbed Kaiyo straight through her Stomach, then kicked her onto her knees, Kaiyo screamed in pain as she fell. 'You didn't even say go!' she yelled. Tenrai appeared a few metres in front of Kaiyo and delived a kick to her head, flying the girl backwards this time, 'Fights will not wait for you!' she yelled, walking closer to Kaiyo, 'Now' she picked up Kaiyo by the scruff of her neck and threw her itno the air, 'Fight, or die, your choice'. Kaiyo flash stepped forwards, trying to escape the fight, Tenrai landed before Kaiyo straight in front of her, 'I really hope that wasn't your flash step' Tenrai disappeared from sight appearing a few metres behind Kaiyo, who now had a deep cut along her shoulder as well. Tenrai appeared in front of Kaiyo again, delivering a few more punches to the stomach, Kaiyo keeled over in pain, coughing up blood.
'Come on!' Tenrai's voice echoed above Kaiyo, 'This is really all you have? at this rate your going to lose your Shikai! How the hell do you expect to fight in this state, an academy student could kick your ass!' Kaiyo lay on the floor, her eyes closed, receiving another kick to her ribs, 'Trust me, like this you won't save anyone'. Kaiyo's eyes opened, 'Isn't that how you died?' called Tenrai mockingly, 'Because you weren't strong enough to save a life! Because you wanted to help but couldn't! Because your weak!'. Kaiyo clenched her fist tightly, her face full of rage.
Tenrai stood watching Kaiyo for a while; staring at her in disgust, 'You want to help people? You want to save lives! You can't even accept your own DEATH!' her voice thundered in the air. Tenrai was about to aim another hit at the girl, when she was knocked backwards across the sky. Kaiyo stood where Tenrai had been, her red headband shaking under the spirtual pressure. Kaiyo's eyes locked in one Tenrai's, her face void of emotion she vanished from sight. Tenrai moved her sword to in front of her body as Kaiyo re-appeared, the girl jumped into the air and landed a kick upon Tenrai's shoulder, followed by a fast punch to her stomach, the woman flew backwards, landing on one knee. Kaiyo could feel energy grow from deep inside her, her wounds irrelevant to the fight she flash stepped.
Tenrai grinned at the young girl, analysing her movements, Kaiyo appeared in front of her this time, letting off a barrage of attacks, only blocked by her own sword, waiting for the right block Kaiyo let loose a rounhouse kick to Tenrai's stomach, her foot blocked sturdily by her sword, Kaiyo grabbed Tenrai's hand, pulling the woman forward and kicking her in the face. Tenrai retalliated by swinging her sword diaganolly across Kaiyo's body. The movement was too slow for the girl and Kaiyo grabbed her sword out of the womans hands, her eyes staring blankly at the woman she Shunpo'ed a few metres away from her and called out,'Denkou Kabe' , the floor around Tenrai turned a familiar electric yellow colour, exploding from the ground to the sky a wall of energy and lightning erupted from the ground, the spititual energy given off by the attack alone would be enough to bring an opponent to their knee's. Tenrai appeared behind Kaiyo one last time, tapping her on the shoulder and whispering in her ear, 'Good job kid'.
Kaiyo turned around quickly and was returned to her field, blood covering the majority of her body, Kaiyo looked around the field, she clenched her fist together a few times and took in a few deep breaths, a smile returned to the girls face as she realised just what a difference the fight had made, Kaiyo felt lighter on her feet, she felt stronger with every breath she took, and she knew her second ability.
