A normal Night

Tiarna sat on the edge of the sky scraper playing with her phone device. She'd not bother to admire how beautiful the city of new York was, she instead counted down the seconds till hollows arrived into the living world.

“ 2 , 1”

No sooner had see said it then a hollowish scream rang in her ears and in the night sky she could see a portal open and four hollows arrived into the world. She watch them separate, each desperate to feed on helpless souls.

A moth like one came toward her but it was unaware of Tiarna presenced. It stalked the street directly below Tiarna, a soul was crying on the sidewalk. The hollow moved closer to it, time for Tiarna to get to work.

She stood on the edge and with a smile she fell off the edge. The rush of falling was nice, it made Tiarna heart beat ever fast. Nearing the street she raised her Zanpakuto and with dead aim she plunged it through the hollows mask killing it just as it reached the soul.

She pried the Zanpakuto out of the hollow skull, tapping the bottom of the hilt against the soul head as she did. She sprint off toward the next hollow leaving the soul to be absorbed into the bright blue light that lead to the soul society.

She arrived at the new hollow in time to see it chasing a soul towards her. She ran by the soul and with a flash of steel and blood she cut through the hollows mouth. The hollow raged with pain but Tiarna took no notice instead she pointed her hand at the hollow.

“Burn of the blades that have been lost. Hado eight Blade of Flames”

From her hand an blaming blade fired and with no hesitation is shot through the hollows mask and eruption of blood and flames ensued. Tiarna smiled then ran back down the street in search of the soul she'd rescued.

She found the soul hiding in an alley. After a short chat Tiarna left the soul as it too was absorbed into the blue light. She had two hollows left to deal with then her assignment was over. And wasn't lucky that she found the two hollows together, they were already fighting each other over a soul that sat between them too scare to move.

Before the hollow noticed, Tiarna ran between them grabbed the hand of the soul and ran, it took the hollow a moment but soon they gave chase. Tiarna threw the soul behind a car then turn to face the hollows.

The bigger hollow dived for Tiarna, a fatal mistake. The second hollow saw his chance and with a vicious attack bite into his comrade. Tiarna laughed, it only made her job easier. She leaped into the air and held out her left hand.

“Bakudo five Senko”

A light blinded the hollow, that wailed out in pain for a moment then it became silent all for the thud of the hollow head hitting the ground. Tiarna smiled broadly as she returned her Zanpakuto to it's sheath. Her passed the soul on then left to find the gate home.
