Death's Waiting Room (Frost)

Tatsuya had roamed the areas in Miami, Florida for the past few days now. Nothing really exciting had occurred other than the occasional dispatching of hollows. Between those fights he took the time to take in the city sites. As he patrolled it didn't take him long to realize why Florida was called "Death's Waiting Room." There was an abundance of elderly people around. Though in the right areas he would take notice of the bikini clad young women roaming around. For his first assignment he had no reason to complain.

Night had fallen as Tatsuya patrolled area. He was hoping something exciting would occur, though he nothing happened he wouldn't mind. It wasn't long before he received a message on his soul phone indicating the presence of a hollow nearby. He quickly began to head in that direction. He was lucky the hollow appeared where it did. The beach was almost empty by this time, so that meant there would be less souls to worry about.

I need more flesh... I need more power..i have to become a vastro lord.. Were some of the only thoughts that were running through Kuro´s head right now. She were hungry, so hungry and she need all the power she could get right now, if she ever would be able to take down the 11 Squad caption Kaiyo... Kuro had challenges the caption that day she had meet Kaiyo some how kuro managed to stay alive and the caption were going to regret letting her live. But Kuro weren’t also going to go down on her word, she need to become a vastro lord so she could fight her, as fast as possible and the only way she knew how to do that were eating as much rietsu, as you could and as fast as you could. Kuro had now been in Miami for about a day or two maybe, she didn’t really remember and she didn’t really care, because this place were wonderful! It were like a big feast and she haven’t even meet a single shinigami yet either, so it were a party with free drinks on the house and she had already taken about 9 drinks already and she weren’t going to stop...

Kuro smiled, as she saw what she had been looking for, it were A woman with a confused look on her face, her cloth were wet together with her hair and she looked more or less like a drowned mouse like someone that had drowned... well she had a long chain dangling from her chest and it looked like she didn’t understand that she were death and she were looking for something or someone... "Mommy! Where are you mommy!?" could Kuro from nearby it were a little about the age of 5 years, he were standing a meter or two away from the shore of the beach, while he were looking out towards the sea. The sound of crying drew the eyes of the woman. She turned towards the boy in alarm, shouting " Allen is that you?" Here eyes were wild with fear as she searched for where the crying was coming from. Apparently she'd been through some things. She probably had a pretty shocking death and she were looking for her son.

Well anyway soon, she would have be a part of Kuro and the boy with her, She would be the main dish and boy would be the dessert with the strawberry on top... The boy fell to his knees crying, he were bowing to the ground and weeping, calling out, "Mommy! Where are you mommy!?" Kuro slowly began to walk over towards the little pair with a smile on her face that just got bigger and bigger..

the woman wouldn’t even be able to see kuro right now because kuro were using her favorite technique to hide or ability, her ability made skin able to act like glass in a way so the light would only go though her and not be blocked like it normally would, her ability made her invisible more or less. The woman began to walk towards the boy and he stayed still except for his weeping that could be hear down the beach “Allen? “ the woman said out loud trying to get the boy to look at her. Kuro didn’t really knew if there were any else around the beach at the time right now, she were to focused on her two new preys and her mind were more or less consumed with the damned hunger that always would follow you as a hollow.

Suddenly Kuro jumped her first prey the woman, while letting her ability fade away, so her body would be visible ones again and even before the woman knew what were going on she were death, the only thing she managed to do before die were a high scream that almost echoed down the beach before died out as it draw the boys attention, he looked slowly up only to looked into her hollow death eyes while he had a terrifed look in his eye. he could see her and she could see him, and nothing were going to let him get away from her..

As Tatsuya ran towards the beach he heard the frightening deathly scream of a woman being attack. He began running faster, hoping to arrive before he was to late. As he got closer he could already see he was too late to save the woman when he saw her getting devoured by the hollow. "Damn it" Tatsuya thought before seeing a small boy. "Bakudo no. 5 - Senko" Tatsuya shouted before a bright light flashed intended to visually impair the hollow. His kido abilities were of average ability and he knew the effects wouldn't last long. He quickly arrived in front of the small boy. "Time to go" Tatsuya stated without waiting for any type of reaction and performing soul burial on the boy.

Tatsuya turned back to the hollow, which was more than likely getting its vision back. He stared back into the hollow's eyes, "What do we have here?"

Kuro were ready to devourer the kid now, she had finally finish eating the main dish and now the sweet taste of a little hole would be next on her tongue, so sweet and delicious and ont... Suddenly Kuro hear something with as her hollow ears twitch, not fare away from her and she could feel the spiritual pressure of what would seem to be Shinigami charging towards her and the child. even before she knew it there was a so bright light, she couldn’t see a thing and her eyes hurtet like she had been looking into the sun for a brief moment before she got her vision back..

“damn you, you ruined my meal, shinigami....” said Kuro irritated as she saw at the shinigami in front of her right about were the boy should have been, but now he was gone and all because of a stupid shinigami that didn’t understand when he shouldn’t interfere with her goal to become stronger so she could kill Kaiyo the one that had looked down on her.. slowly Kuro´s body began to let light throught her body make her more or less invisible in a matter of seconds

Tatsuya listened to the hollow's comment and thought to himself. "Oh great, one with a brain." Tatsuya noticed he was quickly loosing sight of the hollow when it used its ability. "That's a neat trick." Tatsuya stated when he lost sight of the hollow. He kept his eye's on the sand for impressions that were left behind where the hollow stepped. "Your gonna have to try harder than that." He stated as he went in for the attack and slashed downward from the right where he saw the hollow's last prints in the sand.

“Well thank you, but I really hope you like my trick because its going to become even better, but right now I need to find a new meal so leave me be Shinigami or become my new meal…” said kuro as she looked at the Shinigami while preparing herself get away from what he could do, well in one way it would be obvious that the shinigami could make an frontal attack but then again how strong were he really?.. it was only because of her good reflexes, she were able to avoid the edge of the blade as he slash towards her, by making a roll to the left she were able to get under the sword and avoid the deadly blade.. as she got back up on her feet she made swipe almost twist alike emotions with her body while letting her tail blades dig down into the sand and then slashing it up into the air towards the Shinigami´s eyes not meaning to hit, but to throw the beach sand into his eyes

Tatsuya quickly looked for impressions on the sand when he didn't feel any type of resistance as he swung his blade. He was lucky he was so tall, when he saw the sand flying up to his face he quickly jumped back to escape. "That was dirty, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised with a hollow." Tatsuya stated before getting an idea. "Hado no. 4 - Byakurai." Tatsuya said as he pointed to the ground and quickly rotated 360 degrees, kicking up a sand cloud all around him. As the sand flew through the air he made out the outline of the feline hollow. "Good luck getting that sand out of you fur, hollow. You can't hide from me anymore." Tatsuya stated in confidence as he stared at the sand cover feline.

Iritating! not only iritating it was annyoing into the bone, Kuro could feel how the sand got into her furr and it felt awfull, it was like having sand it place that it just didnt belong to, she quickly shakede her body trying to get the sand out of her furr and as it didnt work see look towards the course of the sand “freaking annyoing...its going to take me ages to get it out..” she suddely began to charge right towards him suddely gaining alot of speed on the small space they had...accelting to a high speed with a few steps “The speed of the leopard “ she whispered as she suddely got a greath boost of speed and ran right towards him, as she was right about to hit him she change direction to the left right next to him as she would let her tail try and hit him in the left side with the three tails blades

Tatsuya laughed at the hollow as it tried to shake loose the sand. Though once he realized how fast the hollow was he quickly stopped laughing. Before he knew it, the hollow had increased its speed once again. On instinct Tatsuya shouted out, "Bakudo no. 8 - Seki," creating a barrier on his left side, repelling the attack. Tatsuya quickly jumped into the air, "Damn, it's fast," he thought. "Bakudo no. 7 - Beni Fushi," Tatsuya shouted before emitting a high pitched noise that he was sure was excruciating to the feline hollow. He quickly came down with a vertical swing at the hollow.

“Damn annoying pest you manged to block my attack..“ kuro was quick to run a meter away from him again and then running to the left, trying to make a circle around him as he had jumped up into the air, before she suddenly feeling this enormous pain through her ears making her stumble and crash in to the sand and rolling away to one of the sides it was only luck in it self that she stumble because as she rolled away the blade only just barely hit by the edge of the blade making a small scrash on her hollow mask before she roll even more away and stood up again on her four legs and looked dircely at him a little disorintated “what is your name again? Shinigami...” kuro said trying to distrace the shinigami for a moment while she got herself back togerther

As the hollow rolled away after its mask took a scratch, Tatsuya spoke up. "Well that's one life down, Hollow. Eight more to go, but next time I'll make sure you stay down." Tatsuya prepared himself as the hollow got to its feet, only to here it speak. "I am Tatsuya Okibi, 2nd squad. And what's your name, Hollow?" Tatsuya spoke to the hollow as he was preparing. Tatsuya had never done this technique before and wasn't sure if he would perform it properly. He started sending reiatsu to the soles of his feet in preparation. He waited until the hollow finished speaking before flash stepping in front of it and swinging his sword straight down trying to slice it in half.

“8 time more to kill you shinigami thats how much times I got... my name is Kuro kami...” said kuro quick and looked at him as she had gotten herself together ready to make a attack as he suddenly appear in front of her, The blade almost glimpsed in the air as it came down towards her, but kuro had already see this move come towards her, by making a slight step to the left letting the blade pass by her just in the second as she got away. as the blade got passed down by her side she would jump up and pound her claws towards his face and upper body while her tail would whipe down towards his sword hilt aiming for his hand

*Tsk* Tatsuya sounded as Kuro stepped to the side causing his swing to miss. He focused on Kuro as she jumped into the air and tired to pounce on him. Tatsuya punched towards Kuro with his left hand and pulled his sword hand back, barely avoiding her tail as she was in the air. Not the best choice in tactics, as he was clawed along the right side of his face and on his torso, leaving deep gashes, but he needed to daze Kuro at least.

It was almost as a small victory as kuro could feel her how she clawed over his face and torso she could smell the blood already and it was making her thrilled with that fact that she had hit him, she couldnt wait to the time were she would be eating this shinigami... Kuro was to engulfed in her small victory to even notices Tatsuya´s punch before it hit her right frontal on the mask, making the mask begin to crack on the leftside, as she was almost thrower away by the forces of the punch by a meter almost... it was a enormity pain, that rand through her head as she got back up her legs a little dazed almost, while a small part of the left side of the mask cracked and fall to the ground showing a blue eye with tears in them that slowly began to roll down the side of the mask

Tatsuya was a only slightly happy when his punch connected to the hollow's feline mask, slightly cracking it in the process and sending her a little ways back and essentially giving them only a minimal distance between each other. When the distance between them widened Tatsuya let his broken left hand fall to his side while bringing his sword hand up in front of him. His face and torso was in pain and bleeding quite a bit from the deep gashes, not to mention his broken left hand from punching the hollows hard mask, but now was not the time to worry about minor things like blood loss or pain. With her superior speed any unnecessary thought could be his last.

As the hollow stepped back in what looked like an enormous amount of pain Tatsuya took note when her mask cracked even more along her left side and subsequently had pieces begin to fall on the ground. Once the pieces around the left side of her face hit the ground, Tatsuya was viewing what appeared to be the eye of a young female's face, though he wasn't certain in the dark of night. With the aid of a small amount of moon light Tatsuya noticed the hollow had tear drops flowing from her beautiful blue eye. He wasn't sure if the tears were from the punch he landed or from the sadness of being lonely that all hollows are said to feel.

Tatsuya now felt obligated to end her suffering and send her to Soul Society. He began raising his spiritual pressure, placing some of it into the soles of his feet and some into his broken left hand. He was preparing to use another technique he had no formal training in. The technique he was preparing for was Bakudo no. 30 Shitotsu Sansen. "Don't worry, Kuro. I will end your suffering here and now." Tatsuya stated before quickly using flash step to launch himself into the air. He motioned his broken left hand and pointed fore finger into the shape of a triangle and attempted to launched it towards the hollow. "Bakudo no. 30 Shitotsu Sansen." Tatsuya shouted sending three beams of light towards the hollow, intending to pin her to the ground. Though those beams quickly dissipated into nothing. Tatsuya quickly knew why the kido technique failed, it was because he did not use the incantation to bring out its full power. He felt that because of the hollows speed he could have skipped the incantation to quickly trap the hollow, but he was wrong. By this time the hollow would be coming for him to prevent him using the technique again. Tatsuya place spiritual pressure into the soles of his feet and flashed stepped as hard as he could winding up a decent distance behind the hollow. Tatsuya began pouring spiritual pressure into his left hand and it showed, as it started to emit a golden yellow glow from the palm. As he put more of his spiritual pressure into his hand he didn't want to get caught by the hollow, so he used flash steps again to propel himself into the air once again except he held himself there. He began to shout out the words for the incantation, putting everything he had into the bakudo spell, he visualized the beginning, the middle and the end result of the kido spell. He wanted to help this hollow find peace and there was nothing that was going to stop him. He drew the golden triangle into the air and glared at the hollow, not with anger, but with pity and sadness. This was it. "Bakudo no. 30 Shitotsu Sansen." Tatsuya shouted sending three shimmering golden beams of light through the air down towards the hollow. Should the bakudo be successful, Tatsuya knew the hollow would have no way of escaping, and he would be able to end her suffering with a swift swing of his soul slayer and little effort. Though this time Tatsuya would have a sad face as it would not be as "fun."

”stop crying idiot i cant see what going on ... STOP IT...” Roar Kuro out as she still could feel the pain that was going through her head, while her left eye was still filled with tears making her unable to see anything out through it because of the human part of kuro there were still there, kuro shoked her head frustrate from side to side as the hollow part of her grew more and more frustrated about the fight and why the idiotic shinigami wouldn’t die from his injuries, he had to be serious injuries that was one thing Kuro knew or maybe she were hoping for it, she just didn’t want to die, not here not now! She had a goal to become stronger and tear down and To kill the captain of the 11 squad Kaiyo that had looked down on her and let Kuro go, Kuro had challenge the captain to a later fight and she weren’t going to go down on her word....

If she weren’t going to die Kuro knew she had to press down the human side again, as she were slowly getting back up on the surface, it had always been like this, a struggle for power, and well then again the only reason why she wasn’t a mindless beast was because of the girl that had been able to control her just a little now and then, but it was now time for the hollow to be what she were and let the girl drowned in her control, like a big title wave washing over a single person as she would sink down into unconscious... once again Kuro roar out now with a more beast alike nature more hollow alike nature behind it as it seem she had set loose everything she had left in her...

letting her spiritual energy loose around her, kuro would look once again up op the shinigami, the human part that was show of her weren’t crying anymore it were looking empty and hollowed... kuro looked up on him as he had shunpo up there and were making something, suddely she could see it as he had made the three pillars of light and then they were send towards her, but to her luck before they even got to hit her they fated away into nothingness, surly it had to be because of lacking control from the shinigami and all his injuries.. but there weren’t time to think it was time to kill or get killed, Kuro charge forwards towards her opponent accelerating with high speed as it had to be now or never, every little time She got close to him and tried to attack him e he shunpo away from her like a coward, it was even more annoying then before almost as if he had gotten a lot more speed that she would ever by able to achieve, Kuro was ready to take him this time as he shunpo into the air, fare to many times had he did it and this time should be his last.. Jumping with all her might Kuro send herself up into the air towards the shinigami with her claws out, mouth open ready to attack and make the killing blow when she got close enough... before she even knew it, kuro were flying back again towards the ground as the 3 pillars had hit her, one on her stomach and one on her to front paws... before suddely hitting the ground and almost knocking her out... looking up opon the shinigami kuro already knew that this were going to be the end.. slowly the feline began to cough for a second or two before a she suddely began to laught out load “ahahaha... THIS WILL NOT BE THE END OF ME SHINIGAMI, GO AHEAD AND TRY TO KILL ME” shout she out while laying down on the ground and looking up on him

Tatsuya landed on the ground a few meters away from the now trapped hollow. He slowly walked towards Kuro, gripping his soul slayer tightly. As he approached her, his face had a definate look of sadness and pity. He listened to her words and let out a sigh. "I am only here to send you to Soul Society, and grant you peace in your afterlife." Tatsuya spoke softly towards the hollow with a tone of pity. "Go now, and be happy. You have waited too long for this." Tatsuya stated as a tear fell from his left eye. Tatsuya didn't even realize that he was already in the middle of swinging his zanpaktou towards Kuro's head. He only notice the hollow begin to disappear from his sight.

Tatsuya began to walk slowly along the beach, not turning back from where Kuro had laid. He knew what he did was right, not just right, it was what he was trained to do, but he still couldn't shake the sadness he felt. Tatsuya grabbed his communitcator and spoke into it, requesting a healer to his location. He took a seat in the sand and waited for the 4th squad member to arrive, looking out towards the ocean. His mission in "Death's Waiting Room" was still not over.

"i will be back shinigami i promise you that.. and then when im back you will be then one to die... you will be the one to suffer, you shinigami always think your the good guys but you never think about the hollows" kuro stated as she looked up on him a finaly time before begin to silenctly laugh out loud as she felt the sword pircing into her fleash as her voices died out and she began to disappear, leaving noting but a pool of small blood were she had layed
