Making Sense of it All (Kaiyo)

Stuart hadn’t slept nor eaten nor to school, he was still trying to figure out what happened last night. He remember all of fight but every time he played it over in his head it seemed or and more like a dream and since his bow vanished after the fight he’d no physical proof it had happened expect for a bruised jaw from the hollows punch.

Sitting the roof of his apartment he sat trying to recreate his bow but despite all his effort he couldn’t , he didn’t know how be got the bow the first time so he wasn’t surprised when he couldn’t figured it out now.

“Whats going on Stuart” Stuart said as he rubbed his forehead trying to think of a reasonable answer to all of this , his mind raced with possibilities such as , maybe it was a dream or maybe I was drugged but none of these thoughts could convince him he knew it was real.

'Maybe you went crazy' Kaiyo giggled lightly, peering over the guys shoulder with a soft voice as he sat on the roof talking to himself. The Captain wasn't wearing her Gigai, and with this guys spiritual energy she figured he'd have no issue seeing her. Especially seeing how much she radiated on a normal basis. Kaiyo leant backwards with a light smirk, hopping onto the edge of the building; her back facing the street as she tilted her head slightly at the guy. In truth, Kaiyo wasn't even sure what he was yet, he fought with a bow, but he didn't have a quincy uniform. Regardless, the girl had only been in the real world for supplies (of the sugary sweet/candy kind) when she'd noticed the guy, and figured a bit of recon wouldn't go a miss.

'So, what are you?' she said quit bluntly to the guy, assuming he knew she was a shinigami, and part of the Gotei 13.

"What are you doing playing on rooftops!" Stuart said yelling the child or what he perceived to be a child that stood before him. Ri was more embarrassed someone had heard him talking to himself then angry but rather appear cross with the child then embarrassed

“Come on now lets get you down off here” Ri said in more a ordering tone then a suggestive one. It only dawned on him the that the child was wearing a black robe outfit and look to be carrying a toy sword in a sheath. He went to grab Kaiyo's arm to guide he off the rooftop.

((OOC: sorry if kaiyo's reaction seems a bit godmoddish- not on purpose i swear, i just couldn't get the phrasing right, i'll get rid of it if ya like though ))

Kaiyo looked at the guy as he spoke, bewildered as to whether or not he was joking. Did this guy seriously not realise he was the only one there who could see her, and that she was over a 100 years old? Such thoughts continued through Kaiyo's mind until the kid went to grab her arm. A combat reflex had usually been good, this was until the ignorant human tried to 'escort' her off a building. Kaiyo hadn't even thought of reacting when her hand clamped onto the arm that had reached to grab her and had flipped it backwards, likely sending the guy onto his face. The girl's face dropped as soon as she'd countered the attack.

It hadn't even been a bloody attack! she cursed inwardly, leaping off her seat with an apologetic face. 'Ahh crap are you okay?' she quizzed, still trying to wrap her head around this guy, 'Erm...You know you're the only one who can see me, right? she asked in a tentative manner, her eyes darting to the street below the appartment.

Stuart wasn’t sure how he’d ended up with his face flattened against the ground but knew it was the girls doing , how she did was a mystery but that wasn’t a question on his mind now he was annoyed.

“Right! I don’t care about what ever game your playing, Get off the roof and play it!” Stuart said as he brought himself up back on his feet but one side of his face was red and had marks left by the ground. He wasn’t in humor to entertain kids earlier and he certainly wasn’t now.

Kaiyo's smile dropped at the guys response, the girl trying to be friendly, but a short tempered Captain being yelled at by some stupid invalid of a human was enough to justify her response. Kaiyo bit her tongue, killing this person would likely land her in a bucket of trouble that she really didn't need. Instead the girl kept her cold glare on Stu. Releasing just enough of her reiatsu so the guy wouldn't pass out, at least she hoped so, but short breath and vaguely fuzzy vision would probably occur. Kaiyo did this slowly, a faint blue glow beginning to buzz around the silhouette of her figure, sparking with golden flickers of her Zanpaktou. The golden yellow shot upwards, sparking wider and stronger towards Stu.

Kaiyo put a cap on her reiatsu after a moment, she just wanted to scare the guy into shutting up for at least a moment. The girl sighed in annoyance, 'So you really don't know who or what i am?' she puzzled in a confused manner, her voice still hinting annoyance. Kaiyo kept her expression cold, 'And for God's sake i'm not human!' she snapped.

Kaiyo pressure was enough to force Stuart back to the ground, on one knee. He started panting heavily, he was scared beyond anything he'd ever experienced, but in frightened state something happened within him, something became free.

An powerful force flowed through Stuart and focused its self at Stuart’s hands and just like the night before the magnificent bow appeared in Stuarts hand a whether the release of his power or if Kaiyo had just stopped her but the pressure on Stuart suddenly lessened.

“What are you….. What am i?” Stuart said as he felt his heart beat so fast it left like it having his fight with his crib cage. Stuart managed to look up and into Kaiyo’s eyes.

Kaiyo watched in bemusement as the bow appeared in the guys hands; and he looked even more shocked by it than she was. Kaiyo was taken a-back by the guys question, as to her, it seemed almost funny. 'Me?' she laughed, unsure of what other tone she should be taking at the moment, 'I'm a shinigami and you...you're a' Kaiyo tilted her ehad at the guy for a moment, her brain traipsing through what the hell this guy could be. Not a shinigami, could be a quincy but really not likely, bounto? God no...What the hell else is there?. Kaiyo's eyes switched open as the light-bulb finally switched on in her head, the girl pointed defiantly at Stuart before she spoke in a smug manner. 'you're a superhuman!'.

Of course such a revelation served only to beg even more questions. There were few of his kind, if he was one that is. Kaiyo sat down in thought for a moment, suddenly ignorant of Stu's existence. After a moment longer of pondering, Kaiyo glanced back up to the guy, 'Parents?' she quizzed lightly. 'Oh yeah and you kill hollows right?...Erm, big monsters that appear in the sky?'. Kaiyo's explanation, lacking somewhat in coherence, yet her message was there.

"I'm a what?" Stuart said as he stumbled to his feet his bow in his hand. His mind turned off Kaiyo for a moment and starting talking to it's self trying to making sense of the situation but he failed and rather then understanding the situation it only became more confusing.

"Dead" Stuart said his tone suddenly stiff and emotionless. He hated his parent and never was shy about telling people of their deaths.


"I've only ever seen one" Stuart said as his voice became filled with emotions again. He saw Kaiyo sword and something clicked in his head to be fearful of an attack.
