Appearance: Katashi is rather tiny. he looks like a scrawny little kid which is what he was in life. He has clawed hands, but other then the fact that his fingernails are like short claws, his form truly resembles that of a human boy with a whole in his chest. His mask is a simple white oval with eye holes and nothing else, not even a nose or mouth or ears.
Personality: Katashi is an evil child. That is the easiest way to think of it. He fights dirty and kills without hesitation. He is intelligent and has an appetite worthy of the teenager he was when he was alive. He is, in essence, a sociopath and extremely dangerous.
His favorite way for capturing souls to devour is to act like a scared child at night, huddled so that those who see him think he's just frightened and hurt. When they get close enough, he kills them without hesitation and devours their soul.
History: Katashi really wasn't an extraordinary kid. He goofed off in class, but never enough to get into real trouble. He came home to an ordinary home and lived a normal life. His parents tried to be good parents and usually did a descent job, but all of that didn't matter in the end.
On the way to school one day, Katashi was kidnapped by a pedophile and taken to an old abandoned warehouse. Katashi survived for 3 months being raped by the man and his friends and beaten and tortured by the man when he was in a bad mood. When the man tired of him, Katashi was murdered in cold blood, his body dumped into the ocean.
He woke up as a spirit, and was lost. Out on the ocean, he wandered, searching for a way back home. By the time he made it to the shore of his home town, it was too late. The rage and pain and hatred that had been brewed in his life cultured into a new personality. He was a hollow now, and he was SO HUNGRY! He began his hunt for souls, starting with the man who killed him...

Custom Hollow Abilities:
Ability 1: Shadow slash: Katashi's clawed hands are covered in shadow, and he slashes at his opponent. The shadow energy is corrosive like an acid. This allows this attack to be severe and able to do damage too armor and at times even a weapon.
Ability 2: rank 1- Shadow Aura: Shadow energy covers his body, making it so that all attacks that hit him have a kind of rebound effect, as well as making other attacks, like kicks and headbutts have the same corrosive effect as the shadow slash with his claws.
Ability 3: Rank 3 - Shadow waves: Katashi is able to shoot out the corrosive Shadow energy in waves from his hands that look almost like smoke. Attempting to block the waves with a Zanpakuto will generally result in the slow breakdown of the weapon, starting with the edge.
Ability 4: Rank 6 - Shadow command: Katashi is able to call his corrosive shadow energy from any shadows, not just from his body. This is especially deadly in a dark place or at night when shadows are at their deepest, making him able to attack someone from all sides.

Katashi stood before the warehouse. He could hear screaming coming from inside and recognized the sound. So the man had been busy? Another little boy was being raped by the man and his friends. He wondered how long this one would last.
His stomach growled... If he'd had a traditional mouth, he'd have drooled. The men were nothing, but he could feel that the trauma had unlocked some great potential in the boy. His spirit would be tasty...
He walked into the warehouse and saw first hand that he was right. One of the man's friends was grunting away as he raped the little boy. Katashi growled and a few of the men looked around.
Katashi chuckled. They couldn't see him. They would pay tonight for their crimes and he would eat well... Without a moments more hesitation, he charged forward and ripped the throat out of the man who was raping the boy, splattering blood all over the men surrounding him. He turned towards the now terrified men and began systematically killing them. First another slashed throat, then a claw through the heart, then a shadow claw that sliced two of the men in half.
Their souls stood horrified at what they saw. As they huddled back, and the still living boy trembled and cried at the dead man laying inside and on top of him, Katashi began to feed. He would devour them all and then the boy's soul would be his!
