Happens in the past

Revenge, she had to get that, whoever killed her parents were going to pay for what they did, but she had to find whatever it was first.
Amaya was standing inside her parents old lab, she had been able to gain access to it with her parents old security cards. She had limited time to finish up here before security would catch wind of her.
She was already busy finishing the programing of the equipment, the gift from her parents was very valuable to her, the cybernetic eye. She had to fine tune every mechanic perfectly, the smallest mistake could ruin the entire eye.
Every command was slowly getting ready, now she just had to double check it for any mistakes, maybe she could also upgrade the fighting system into the eye while she was at it, but she decided not to, there was not enough time for that, she would have to find another way later.
Now for the part she had tried so many times before, she sat down in a chair, the machine pulled out her cybernetic eye from the socket, holding it in the air in front of her, the connection between the eye and her brain was dampened, the brain could take damage if it was suddenly cut off.
It took a while before it was done, but it seemed to all go successful. When it was done Amaya stood up and looked around shortly, it was perfect, the chip recorded, she was also able to make a wireless connection to the network, so she could upload and download video feed, and even made a firewall protection, she could not let anything get into the eyes system, it could be a total disaster.
She took a short look around, as she suspected she saw a small spiritual energy residue, it was weak, but enough to get a sample for her search.
Now all there was left was to destroy the evidence, she did not want anybody to copy her eye, and neither did she want anybody to get hold of her research note, however first she uploaded the data to her eye, nobody would ever think about looking there unless they about it.
She left quite a few of her dark spheres in the room, at the exit she looked back at the room, after this she would not be able to attend her parents funeral, too much of a risk was involved.
"goodbye mom. Goodbye dad, Rest in peace" She took a step out, and kicked one last sphere inside, and ran like hell out of the building, once the sphere hit the back of the wall, it triggered a chain reaction, making every sphere explode, destroying all evidence she was ever there, and destroying all the research, safe the one she had stored in her eye.
