The Serpent's Beginning (solo)

What was this.....? This power......this hunger.

Michi Kiyowaru had been writhing in pain on the ground almost throughout the day outside, unseen by anyone walking by. But as nighttime came about, the pain had ceased and a giant hole had opened up in his chest. His body was different now, stronger and larger. He wasn't completely against these changes.

Two bloody heaps were strewn across the floor of the house he was currently in. He just seemed able to notice them. He'd been so hungry just minutes ago. He hadn't even been able to control himself. But now he felt that a prior business was taken care of. All he had to do now was locate the next meal. He slithered out of the building leaving its bloody scene to be discovered by someone else at a later time.

The moonlight shone down on him as Michi made his way through the town. Occasionally he would pass somebody on the sidewalks, but they never saw him and they didn't seem appetising to him. They didn't feel right. He continued his journey, hoping to find whatever it was that was eluding him.

As Michi continued to slither down the streets, he suddenly sensed something. This was a new feeling, but it was so good. It made him hungry immediately. He began feeling his way toward the source of this delicious sensation. He came across a little girl, but something was different about her than the people he'd passed on the street. A chain was hanging from her chest and the good feeling that was stimulating his hunger seemed to be eminating from her. Michi didn't try to resist his urges. Rearing himself up on his tail, he towered over the little girl menacingly. Also unlike the others Michi had passed, this girl was able to see him and slowly backed away in fright.

Michi darted forward as the girl wrenched her gaze from him and began to run. He easily overtook her, speeding past her left side. As he passed her, he chomped down and took a large portion of her arm off. Coiling around to block her escape, he swallowed the meat and licked the blood from his lips, sighing with pleasure.

"Oh, that tastes soooo good."

The girl was now on the ground screaming in pain while holding on to her stump of an arm. Michi hovered his torso inches over her, speaking tauntingly into her ear.

"That's right, you're dying now. Scream for me as the pain tears at the fabric of your mind. Do you want more? Or should I finish this now?"

Michi didn't wait for an answer. The hunger he was feeling compelled him to strike again and again, until he had completely devoured the girl.
