Way of the ninja (solo)

Kuro emerged from a senkai gate all on his own. He had excused himself from the company of the onmitsukido to spend some time alone. Leaping from the rooftops of Karakura Town, he began to fall into the behaviors of lower ranked shinigami.

Noticing a weak reiatsu beneath him, he glanced down from the roof he was currently running across. A hollow, probably newly formed, was stalking the plus spirit of a little boy. Kuro didn't like those that picked on the innocent, especially children. He shunpoed down from the roof and sped past the hollow like a blur. The hollow didn't have time to reace as its mask split and its body faded away. The little boy turned around to see how close he was to being eaten, but saw nothing. Kuro was on the roof on the other side of the street now, looking down at him. He decided to get back to his run and let someone else konso the boy later.

It had been a long time since Kuro had come to the living world just on patrol. He figured he'd make the most of it. He spent the day running along the buildings and slaying the small fry hollows in the area. He was proud of his speed like always and killed them all without letting them or their victims see him. One weakness of Kuro's was that he could be shy at times. He didn't need a bunch of pluses thanking him.

Nighttime was arriving, the sun's last rays making a dim glow on the horizon that was growing dimmer by the second. Kuro was standing on top of an apartment building. For some reason, the whole thing seemed abandoned, but he didn't sense any hollows around. Then he noticed a couple of teenagers beneath him. They were walking toward the apartment building cautiously, as though they were scared of something. The moment they stepped onto the stairs leading up to the front entrance of the building, a dark and terrifying scream rang out from the center of the building.

The scream could be heard by the teens and they took off running as fast as they could. Kuro pieced this together and figured that the scream was a demi-hollow. He let himself into the building and began to search all the rooms. On the middle floor, he saw the sad sight of a human soul's torso protruding from the wall with dozens of chains tying it down to the apartment. The soul screamed at Kuro as he approached, telling him to go away, but Kuro did not listen or even give an answer. Without saying a word, he tapped the bottom of his zanpakuto handle to the spirit's head.

"Move on to the next life."

The soul faded and its screams disappeared. Kuro left the building and went on his way, looking for more hollows in the area.
