Squad 0/royal guard

I noticed that the royal guard was included in the ranking system. No one rp's one, and i thought that since they are pretty unknown, we should be able to play as one, with limits. I suggest that those selcted for the royal guard are sent to the king's other plane of existence or w/e, trained and are able to come back to sereitei/rukongai only. hueco muendo and the real world are off limits to them, and because they are royal guard, there is absolutely no way you can break this rule.

I also suggest that there could be only 13 royal guard members, not including the king, just to clarify. Each representing one of 13 virtues which will be decided upon by the admins. Applications to be a royal guard can only be accepted after 2 or more admins agree that said person is responsible and good enough at rp (grammar spelling unique plots) that they can be accepted.

'in my opinion' i would replace work with innocence.

Sounds pretty solid to me if we do ever get enough people to this rank of course

I do really like the idea of having them represent a virtue as well, and because it hasn't really been covered by the anime/manga we do have that scope to just make it up as well xP

This idea is cool. If he ever gives up the 1st captain position, this will be a nice step up for Kaito.

i was thinking more about it today and this idea is even more iffy. What if the royal guard had a 2nd bankai based off there first one like uliquiorra has a 2nd ressureccion? and i was thinking since of course they are uber, but they should have a requirement where they can only be straight up good, and training for a second bankai must be done in the king's world so at least 100 years must be accounted for that. No killing anything other than hollows/arrancar, etc and they cannot be like byakuya or genryyusai, killin people who break the law n stuff. this is okay i think because with that power they can easily subdue almost anyone without killin them. hollows/arrancar, are the only exceptions to this rule. this makes a lot of situations grey areas, but anyone who wants to play an op good guy has the option to work for it, and make judgment calls if they have to kill a child arrancar or something crazy.

That is impossible. Bankai means Final release. . . . So having a second Final release makes no sense. Ulq. has a 2nd form because hollow powers are not hte same as Shinigami powers.

The reason Ulq. had a 2nd release is because of the nature of what an arrancar is: a hollow with shinigami powers. Only the hybrid species would have access to powers like that. That weird beast form that Ichigo took was most likely the equivalant to Ulq's 2nd release.

Ichigo; Went fully hollow because he had his heart blown away. And he (Like orihimes father and brother ironically) was brought back by the pain of his missing heart and by the pain in the voice of Orihime. It is still unclear as to why Ulq. has a second form but I'd say it's ebcause his first form wasn't his complete hollow powers which explains why he still looked more like an arrancar with wings instead of the Bat he is.

DING DING DING DING DING!!!!!! I would have to agree, Uli's second release is just because his first release was not a full manifestation of his hollow form/powers. The shinigami type powers are what give arrancar their humanoid form and a zanpakutou of sorts, their zans are their hollow powers sealed and their release is the awakening of said powers. He was just a cheapo and developed a psuedo release...

Now as for Ichigo he was a WHOLE other issue that had nothing to due with bankai really, that all had to due with his inner hollow and would be a vaizard related issue.

A second bankai is indeed impossible however there are possiblities to go beyond bankai >.> on a previous site I had a shinigami who developed a technique called Zanpakutou Resonance where the user entered a state of syncronization with their zanpakutou's reiatsu causing them to enter a hightened state. It was then going to evolve into a technique that physically manifested the zanpakutou's form and the user fuses with it causing a new being all together(was basically an answer to a normal shinigami matching a vaizard or arrancars peak strength since they have the highest potential) and this technique was to be called Soul Shatter because after a fight is finished the users zanpakutou was expended and sealed itself for a good week or so.

NOW THEN! as for having this royal guard I disagree with it's creation as it would mean we would be creating this group before any real info is known about them so when real info is revealed our form might not match up and will be blech to any new comers to the site whom like legit rps that stay true to the roles that are being played. (just like how you wouldn't rp a vampire and walk into daylight unless stated it's not the kind of vampies whom die from it)

Also it's not really neccesary and would basically make that character useless on the forum because they would be stuck in the kings realm permanently as it has been stated above, they guard the king and nothing else. It's their job.

I agree with your opions of uliquiorra,(credits to kuro, duquin) last episode i saw 270?(don't read the manga but have sneaked a few pages from yammys release and the top 3 shinigami/espada fights) he didn't seem all that much stronger in 2nd form, just shoving an already weakened ichigo through towers. as for ichigo, he really has nothing to do with the royal guard idea, he just wont die and reminds me of goku every time he gets back up.

your right about a 2nd bankai bein impossible, but i think aizen making the kingdom key, and bein OP qualifies as a reason to send out someone from the royal guard to stop him. That would fall under the category of protecting the soul king. we don't have him in our story, but if something like that were to happen, that could be a good reason to add the royal guard, (of course not now, as we have no super villian who's trying to become god by killing the soul king). du is also right pointing out the knowledge limitation and fun sucking ability of the royal guard. I think an rp'r who has a ton of rp skill could pull off playing one, thus the limitaions i tried to impose on them. i don't think im explaining this right, but try to stay with me, i'm no genius =)

the legit sites, that stay to the rules, in my opinion are limiting creativity, and idk about you, but i like more imagination than is good for me. i'm pretty sure bleach won't have anything about the royal guard for at least a year, so we should archive this thread in case they ever do, or someone else brings up the same question i did, and they can just be directed here. that make sense?
