Personality: He is a quiet shy kind of guy but is kind of popular. Makoto posseses quite a lot of spiritual pressure so his zanpakuto has a fair size but due to his personality he tries not to brag about it. He has his priorities straight and is commited to strengthening his skills. Although he's subtle he secretly wishes to surpass the kill of Byakuya Kuchiki much like renji but knows he has a long way to go before he can even withstand captin kuchikis spiritual pressure. He makes it seem he is not keen on fighting at all but he secretely he loves protecting people and showing off his skills. He enjoys being popular also and beleives friendship can go a long way.

Appearance:He has medium length messy hair. He appears to be a warm character who anyone can talk to. suspiciously he is softly spoken much like sosuke aizen when he used to comfort momo. He has an average body type and is 6 foot tall. he has green eyes and is also considered quite good looking by women. Although considered quite good looking he himself doesn't see why, as he believes himself that he is nothing special but in truth has subtle charms much like mizuiro in karakura high.


Sealed Zanpakutō : The zanpakutos sealed form is just like a normal one but it's size is fairly large.It is too large to be carried at the waist. In fact it's size is just a few inches smaller than ichigo kurosaki's. For example ichigo's zanpakuto, Zangetsu, is the size of his body makotos is down to his knees.

History/Background: When he was alive makoto was a hard working student who fell in love with a girl called rukia (how ironic and not kuchiki) and he planned to run away with her. He wasn't very accepted where he lived as it was a very antisocial school where nice guys usually finished last. No-one was accepted for who they were and makoto wasn't all that intelligent either. Although he had his good looks most people didn't recognize because he was to bruised to have seen. Eventually though he met rukia. She was so nice to him all the time and after just weeks of knowing each other they fell in love. Her and him went everywhere together, they even planned to go abroad so they could run away. Two weeks before they where going to run away rukia was attacked in an alley way and brutally killed. For seven weeks makoto never said a word he just sat and ate and drank. The tickets that were booked for the two to go away. since they were already booked, he decided in her honor he was going to run away as they had intended, leaving his family behind who did care about him quite a lot. He eventually ended up in russia. This landscape was very forbidding but he powered through. Makoto had made a vow to himself to avenge his lovers death, to get strong and return to that god forsaken place to annihilate crime there especially the thugs that killed the center of his world, rukia. He met someone called valik who showed him how to fight and survive and also how to handle a blade. Valik also commanded extrodinary spirit powers. Valik was not old or prejudiced in fact he was a bount. Unlike his more violent relatives Valik didn't hold out for revenge against the soul society he just tried to live in peace. Makoto grew very fond of Valik and learnt everything he could from him including technique beyond that of a normal human, however Makoto didn't forget his ultimate goal so he left Valik and with his new found skills he returned to his hometown and clung to the shadows stalking all those that committed evil. He tried desperately to find the one who killed his beloved Rukia but to no avail until one day he heard from one of the local gangs that he had died.Makoto didn't find relief in this he had trained for one reason to kill the one who killed Rukia. One clear evening however a hollow appeared in town. It turns out it was the spirit of the man who killed his rukia. He fought the man who killed his world. The only thing was in his training not only was he taught to increase his physical strength but also his spiritual abilities so he thought maybe he might be able to fight the hollow as an equal. The murderer of rukia was no longer alive but he was now a hollow so Makoto could definately react his revenge. Without fear or care for his own wellbeing makoto then charged at the hollow and dodged it's first attack. The hollow seemed to have the body of a praying mantis with an oval shaped mask. He cut the back of one of it's six legs causing it to lose it's balance but it's legs could extend so it smashed makoto right through his left arm. Makoto now had to fight the hollow with one arm. He focused his spiritual pressure and jumped high into the air and landed on the hollows back. Precisely he aimed for the back of it's head and as he was taught but he was easily thrown off by the hollows superior strength. Unfortunately he was stabbed right through the back when he hit the floor. his soul was seperated from his body but because of his increased spiritual pressure he found it easy to breathe. But then just as he went to go one on one with the hollow it shattered his soul chain so he couldn't be reconnected with his body. He knew this from his studies with Valik so he figured he had nothing to lose. As he went to attack the hollow in a hopeless fist fight a soul reaper jumped in front of him and sliced the hollows head. Almostinstantly the gates of the underworld appeared to make the hollow atone for it's sins in life. Makoto instantly grabbed the soul reaper and shouted in her face "WHY. THAT WAS MY FIGHT WHY DID YOU HELP ME" and then fell straight to the floor crying. "at least... tell me your name" he said still weeping and without making eye contact, the female soul reaper replied "Rukia my name is Rukia Kuchiki". Makoto looked up and started laughing "haha so your name is rukia. well shouldn't you be performing a konso right about now". Rukia was slightly stunned by the fact he knew what this was but remained unphased. The laughs from Makoto were ironic laughs of disbelief that he had been saved by another Rukia. She then performed a konso on Makoto sending him to the soul society. He slowly awakened to find himslef in rukongai, district 68 of the soul society. so this is my new home then huh. he looked around at all the people going about thier normal business. for the next five weeks he just wandered barely ever eating and constantly training his powers. To survive he had no choice but to steal. He somehow managed to make a family in district 71. Eventually through sheer depression and sticking to the roughness he knew from life he managed to wander to this district. His family had all died at different times and all where backing him in his goals. Slowly he began to feel at home and as if he had true friends. But he knew what he had to do. He still wanted to become strong and protect those in the human world. Inside he didn't want to let anyone else feel what he had felt in that horrible world where he came from. So to counter this anger and fear he went to the soul reaper academy and that is where his story now begins......
