Personality:
Hotaka is a relaxed guy that loves girls and drinking sake!
He will instantly fall in love with any beautiful girl he sees, and he thinks all girls are beautiful!
Hotaka will immediately try and score the girl, but he’s really bad at it!

Hotaka always carries a flask of sake on him, just in case he needs a little pick-me-up, and that’s whenever doesn’t have anything else to do!


Appearance:
Hotaka’s a pretty good looking guy, has spiky red hair green eyes and a black scar-like makes under each eye.
He has a slender build body but ripped.
Hotaka always carries his zanpakuto in its scabbard in his hand leaning on his shoulder.


Sealed Zanpakuto: A katana with blue wrapped hilt, a hand guard in the shape of a snowflake and a black scabbard also with blue wrapping.



History/Background:
Hotaka grew up in the north up in the mountains of Japan.
He loved playing in the snow with his two brothers!
He had a talent for snowboarding, and became a big snowboarding star!
Hotaka starting drinking and showing off a lot!
But one day while trying to impress some girls by doing some tricks and stunts after being out drinking, he had an accident and died!

Hotaka ended up in one of the slums of Rukongai, now lost to live out his new life in the slums, he started doing a bunch of odd jobs for people, but he didn’t have the money for long, course he would drink them up in no time!
But it was hard to impress the girls with kind of life!
One day he saw two shinigamis scoring some girls and then it hit him; he should become a shinigami then the girls would love him plus they get paid better so more money for sake!
He quit his job and went off to the shinigami academy.

Hotaka had been drinking at a bar after work.
He spotted a beautiful girl at the end of the bar and instantly falls in love with her!
He walks over to her.
“Hi there how you doin’?” He asks her with a big dumb (Joey-like) smile on his face.
But while he’s asking her that, he’s spilling his drink all over her without noticing it!
She gets angry and slaps him and walks away.

Hotaka orders a new bottle of sake and continues to drink, until he spots a new girl, he rushes over to and this time is very careful not to spill any sake on her while asking: “Hi how you doin’?”
“Hi there your Ho-sake right?” the girl asks. “Well yes I am, so you've heard of me?” he replies thinking she’s heard something good!
“Yes I have you slept with my sister and never called and you started hitting on me on your date you jerk!” she answers and slaps him and walks away.

Hotaka now having a very shore face after being slaps so hard twice, decides to call it quits for today and walks home to sleep it off, he’s got work tomorrow.
