Personality:
Shinko is a happy and cheerful kid that loves hanging around with his friends.
He gets annoyed when people mention his height (or the lack of it)!
Is there anything Shinko loves more than hanging with friends, it’s eating and he eats a lot! But he never gains any weight no matter how much or how fatty food he eats.


Appearance:
Shinko kinda looks like he’s only 14 or so, even though he’s actually 17!
He smiles a lot and is quite good looking, has black hair except for a white stripe going through the middle.
The white hair is a bit longer than his short black hair.
He has nearly glowing light-green eyes and white eyebrows.
On his right hand he wears a black fingerless glove, and on his left arm he has blue tattoo that clover nearly the entire arm.
He always has a long toothpick in his mouth.
Shinko has two earrings in his right ear.

History/Background:
Shinko was born in good neighborhood and a loving family.
His parents had lost their first son to a disease, and had tried to get a son again for 2 years, having two girls in the process, but now they had finally received a son!
Shinko had a great childhood growing up with his two sisters.
He had been a popular kid in school so no problems there.
Now in high school he had gotten himself a nice girlfriend that he was in love with.
But some of the other boys at school were jealous of Shinko having one of the hottest girls in school.
So one day as Shinko and his girlfriend was going home from school, the boys jumped them by a ally and started beating up little Shinko, his girlfriend tried to stop them but she couldn’t, one of the boys who had been jealous of Shinko his whole life took too far and actually ended up killing Shinko.

Shinko ended up in one of the slums of Rukongai, now lost to live out his new life in the slums, he tried doing the best he could to survive he was fairly good at it, only stealing if he had too and only what he needed.
But being killed the way he was and now having to live in the slums had made Shinko harder and a bit less cheerful, now a tougher kid, Shinko started preying on the weaker in the slums, making others work for him or just stealing their loot.
But he wasn’t happy living like this after a while he started wanting something more out of life! Then one day he saw some shinigami and he decided that was what he wanted to become a shinigami!
He packed up his things and went off to the academy to sign up to be a shinigami.

RP Sample:
Shinko was walking down the street when he spotted a group of boys beating up a smaller kid.
It seemed that the little kid had stolen something from them.
Shinko step over to them and taped one of them on the back (course he was too short to reach the guys shoulder) and said: “Excuse me but why are you all beating up this little kid aren’t one of you enough to beat him up?”
They all turned around to look at him.
The one he had taped on the back answered: “Screw you kid beat or we’ll kick your ass instead!”
“Oh really?” Shinko replied. He put down he’s sack with all his things in it and then looked at the 4 guys.
“Okay then try, if you can kick my ass you can have all my stuff” He pointed at his sack on the ground, “but if you can’t you leave that kid alone, okay?”
“Ha ha ha fine kid we’re in!” Said the biggest of the guys and cracked his knuckles.

They jumped at Shinko but he was too fast for them and dodged out to the side, then jumped up and landed a kick to one of them’s chin knocking him out.
Then landed on his feet again then ran at the others that still were trying to figure out were Shinko got to.
He tackled one of them getting him to the ground and then punched him in the face before he jumped over one of the others trying to get him from the back, Shinko kicked the guy in the back so he landed on top of the guy on the ground and Shinko used that kick to send him towards the last guy, landing an extra hard punch to his face knocking him out as well.

Shinko now landed next to the kid they had been beating on, and he saw what the kid had stolen from the bigger boys; a big box of sweets. Shinko got punched in the face while he was distracted by the sweets, he landed hard on his ass, he rubbed his cheek where he had been punched “Nice one! You guys actually got a punched in on me!” Shinko remarked “Bet you can’t do it again!” he added.

He quickly got up on his feet as the two guys started walking towards him.
When they got close enough, Shinko punched one of them in the crouch and as he came down he gave him an uppercut to knock him out, and the last guy he just kick the legs away under him and then stepped over to him and looked him the eyes and said: “Okay then I’ve knocked all of your friends out I’ll spare you, but remember to leave this kid alone!” “Yes yes of course!” the guy answered.

Shinko walked over to the kid and helped him up “Well then, since I’ve helped you, you’ll have to give me some of those sweets, half should do fine!” He said to the kid, “W-w-w-well okay then” the kid answered a bit sad and handed over half of his sweets before running away.

Shinko picked up his sack and started walking away, he put one of the sweets in mouth before he arrived at the gates to the Shinigami Academy and looked at it “Well then, hello new life!” he said before step through the gate.
