Ken'Ichi (shnigami)

Personality: Ken is very cold and seems heartless. Once you get to know him he lightens up a bit. Very trustworthy and will never leave a fellow shinigami behind for anything, almost dieing many times just to save his comrades.

Appearance:Ken has a very dark and mysterious appearance. His hair has layered colors, black underneath and white on top, that is always messy looking and is always wildly blowing around. It is pretty long on the sides and back. His shinigami outfit is jet black with a white waist tie. He smiles as much as a grizzly bear runs away from a fish.


Sealed Zanpakutō : The sealed Hensen Matsuro is just a simple katana. When drawn it is know to give of fire, ice, light, or dark wisps at various times.

History/Background: Ken'Ichi Kuragari was a loaner when he was alive. His so called friends stabbed him in the back many times. However he always did whatever he could if they were in danger. He lost his life when he was trying to rescue the girl of his dreams from a burning car. It was on fire and she was stuck inside, seat belt melted together. He dove in and, using sheer adrenaline, snapped the seatbelt and shoved her out of the car. She ran to the curb. As she got there she turned to give him her gratitude for saving her life just in time to see her car explode and Ken'Ichi incinerated inside. He awoke in the far reached of roukongai. Here he heard stories of a new guy that got here by sacrificing himself. He realized they were talking about him. When he would dream it was always of that last thing he did before he died. Until one night his dream changed. Instead of seeing that girl he wanted to love so much, he saw 4 beautiful women. One was in a black, almost see though, gown with wild, fiery red hair. The second was a girl wearing a blue outfit with the mid section of the clothes gone. Her hair was long and black. The third was wearing a large, billowing, white kimono that looked like royalty. He hair was white. The last was wild, wearing yellow and black fighting outfit that showed the bottom of her breasts (no nudity i assure you). Her hair was jet black. "We are a special being. What kind of being, you will have to find out for yourself. You have amazing spirit energy. Do not let it go to waste and let us fade to nothing. Now go and be the guardian of this town." Ken'Ichi awoke and shot straight up. He could not understand what just happened. Then, he heard a cry for help. He ran out to see a young woman being abused by a group of street thugs. He charged at them, wishing he had a weapon to use. Not really knowing why he called out the name that the women said. A sword appeared in his right hand. He eliminated the thugs. For the next 5 years he continued to protect the village using his magical sword that came from his dreams, never socializing with anybody, only looking to protect.. One day he spoted a beautiful woman wearing white haori with the symbol for the number 2 on it. The woman spotted him at the same time. "You. I am here to invite you to the shinigami academy. You show true promise to be a very strong Soul Reaper." From that day on he was in training to be a shinigami.



Each character gets 20 skill points to start of with assign them to either:

Rp sample: He spit the blood from his mouth. He couldn't beleive this. This woman was amazingly fast. Her swings would alternate between hot and cold. His vision would get lighter and darker. He stood up, facing her, sword at the ready. He ran at her with everything he had. -If only i had something else to use. She knows what im going to do. Can she read my mind?- He slid under her trying to get behind. Her sword came crashing down against his. "Of course I can read your mind silly boy. We are in your mind." His mind began to race. -What do I do? wait....- He shut his mind down from the fight. Began thinking of his last day on earth again. How his "friends" treated him. Then he saw her again. The woman he longed for. His opponent seemed to get angry at this. Was she jelous? Ha...thats funny. THis woman in his mind was jelous of a human girl. That was all he needed. He lept up and shunpod right behind her, sword pressed to her back. "I win." the woman snickered. "It will take more than that to master me. She was gone. Ken'Ichi's eyes wiidened as he gasped for air. His back was slashed, blood gushing down. His vision faded, went all white, then all black. Was he dead again?

good rp sample and the character is nicely designed (sounds quite gloomy actually lol) but you'll have to edit the parts about having already learned your zanpakuto's name. It's rough I know, but we can't learn their name and learn to use shikai until we have at least 60 stat points. The normal ending to the history is for the character to end up going to the academy to learn to become a shinigami/control their power...somewhere in that area. But it's up to you. Just change that advanced part.

Ok, the only thing I currently see that still needs editing is in the sealed form description. Before getting to know your zanpakuto better, it can't have any weird powers or occurances. It definitely sounds like it'll be an interesting weapon when you master it.

(on a side note: just a heads up after reading your sample. When you start rping, you won't be able to use shunpo until your speed stat is at least 20)
