Personality: Kazaru is a very intelligent individual. This causes his attitude toward others to be very condescending. However, this is not intentional. He actually cares about all those around him, and is always willing to help another with something they are having trouble with. Kazaru always remains calm and collected, no matter the situation. This has gained him the reputation of being emotionless.

Appearance: Kazaru has medium length hair. His hair is normally messed up because he plays with it while he thinks to keep his mind from wandering. It is also completely unmanageable, due to the excessive amounts of green hair dye he puts in it. Kazaru wears his Zanpakuto on his left side. He has brown eyes. He always wears the standard shinigami uniform, as he doesn't care to take any liberties with it, as he believes it to be a waste of time. Kazaru also looks like he could be snapped in half, as he doesnt look strong. He also has a goatee, though he thinks it would look stupid if he dyed that green, so it is the natural color of his hair, brown.


Sealed Zanpakutō : Kazaru's zanpakuto has a red hilt with various designs on it, symbolizing his family's coat of arms. The guard is black. It has 8 points coming out of it, in the shape of an asterisk. The blade has a very shiny silver color. It is so shiny that one can clearly see their undistorted reflection on it. The sheath of Kazaru's zanpakuto is black and has red stripes.

History/Background: Kazaru Shichiyou. Number one student in the entire Kanto region of Japan. He was the oldest son in his family. Kazaru came from a very poor family, who struggled to pay for Kazaru's education. They felt that with an excellent education, he would be able to become wealthy and not have a horrible adult life.

Kazaru's intelligence also led him to have rivals, which lead to his human death. During his valedictorian speech, a jealous student shot him. However, the student eventually was able to escape charges as he was considered insane. At this point, Kazaru had not been sent to soul society. He was full of hate and anger at the murderer and at the justice system. Soon, his chain of fate began to corrode. Before it corroded any further, he found a shinigami and was sent to soul society.

Once in soul society, Kazaru aimed to become a Shinigami. Eventually, he was noticed by the shinigami and was sent to the academy. He was noted for being an extremely smart student. However, his fighting skills, especially kidou, were not as good. He now strives to become better at fighting so he will not be considered weak.

Yet another boring lesson in literature class...who the hell cares about poetry, Kazaru thought while sitting in his class. As an intelligent student, he wasnt required to sit up front like the trouble makers, so he constantly got distracted. He noticed someone sleeping in front of him. Now he has the right idea, but if I get caught sleeping, oh boy would it be bad. Suddenly something caught his attention. Oooh. Who is that? I've never seen her before. Damn though...she's ugly. He looked at the girl next to her. Oooh, now she is hot. I think I'm gonna talk to her after class.

After class, Kazaru got out of his seat and was cut off by one of his friends. "I saw you checking out that girl, I thought you were incapable of that, Kazaru," his friend said.
"That's what you've fooled yourself into believing. Now, if you wouldn't mind, I need to go somewhere," Kazaru replied, pushing his friend out of the way. He walked over to the girl, who apparently heard Kazaru and his friend talking about her. She slapped him across the face. Well...damnit...The smartest student in all of Kanto doesn't need someone like that. Screw her. Kazaru walked to his next class, feeling smug and superior to all those he passed, knowing that they had no where near the intelligence he had.
