[CB] Ghost hunt (rippers)

It wasn't until after midnight that the three young men made their move. They had been watching the place for the last few weeks with little success. It wasn't until recently that they saw what they looking for; signs of activity. Something was definitely going on in the deserted looking place. According to everyone they spoke to it was the site of grizzly murders, or it was owned by a oil tycoon from Texas. Actually the stories differed from person to person, but the final result was that no one knew who if anyone lived there or had lived there. Very suspicious to say the least. Just the thing these young men were looking for. Normally the rumors alone would keep the curious at bay, but in this case it had the opposite effect. Among the tales they heard were various ghost stories and tales of creatures straight from the abyss. According to those very same sources monsters and demons lurked the very streets of Karakura. Mysterious deaths and disappearances seemed to happy as frequently as one would expect a parking or speeding ticket. The three men piled out of the small van and stood in front of the regal mansion. Quite the fancy place. The iron gates and high wall only further set the mood for a possibly haunted house. The man in the middle grinned. He work a simple black windbreaker and blue jeans. His shirt was a dark blue, but it was hard to tell with the overcast night. He might as well have been wearing all black. Looking about he ran his hand through his short brown hair.
"You guys ready?" he asked looking to his left and then to his right at his companions. The man on left was a hair shorter than him and was wearing a wool cap over his head. It was a redish color, but the night time did it little favor. The only thing that stood out was the white stripe going along it's base. Bits of his dark hair poked from beneath the hat. He too wore dark clothing, but this time in the form of a simple long sleeve T-shirt. It's color was similar to the cap, but seemed darker. The last of the trio only nodded his hair the same color as the first man, but parted down the middle. He work a black shirt with a white long sleeved shirt underneath. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a cigarette. Seconds later he fished out his lighter. With a flick of his thumb the night's darkness was dispelled as he took a drag of the pale stick. And like that the light was gone and the darkness crept back in. The small light came from the end of the newly lit cigarette.
"Let's do this." he grunted and jumped up and over the fence in a single bound. The others did the same. Each of the clearing the 10ft gate with ease. Landing gently on the other side the slowly walked towards the main building.

The three slowed then came to a stop as they drew closer to the waiting man. Both men stopped to look at the man wearing the jacket.
"He's not normal." the man said flatly. The man wearing the cap raised an eyebrow as he looked at Zen while the other man grinned.
"Can you sense anyone else?" the man with the cap asked looking around at the old style building. The last thing he wanted was to be ambushed. "It was like he was waiting for us." The man in the jacket shook his head.
"I'm not sure." he said after a minute. In truth he felt more than one signal, but they both felt the same. It was like there were two of the man, but that didn't make sense. He didn't want to confuse the others so he just told them no while he tried to sort out the matter himself.

"I'm sure you know why we're here." said the man with the cap finally acknowledging Zen's question. Honestly he thought it would be more difficult, but it would seem this night's task would end fairly quickly. "For someone from the Earth Clan you're not very bright. I figured you'd at least run or hide." While the man spoke the other two men had taken up positions on the left and the right of porch. The last of their group stood in front making Zen somewhat surrounded. The only avenue of escape would be back into the building. "Give up quietly." he stated firmly. Both men on either side looked over Zen waiting for his response. Neither of them said a word. The man with the cigarette took one more puff before flicking the short stub onto the porch.
"Please refuse." the man said as he exhaled the white smoke. "I could use the exercise."

While the man that had thrown the cigarette was rather surprised by the sudden attack, the other man had felt the sudden build up of spiritual power from the doll within the building. He shifted backwards away as the attack came forth. The pink wave traveled past him. The other man let out a startled gasp as he was blinded by the burst. As this occurred the man in the cap rushed forward at Zen seeing that his companions were being attacked. His index finger extended and he drew a small circle in the air. A disc of blue light floated above the digit. The disc was no larger than a frisbee in size. Flicking his hand the chakram launched at the tanned muscular man just as the burst cam from Kibu. The man took the wave head on and was pushed backwards, but his energy disk continued fly at the doll's master. The blue energy missed the moving target, but cut into the building behind him. A hole the size of the projectile was now in the wall. The man himself was sent flying backwards. He flipped end over end then crashed to the ground with a groan. For many seconds he just laid there until he gave a grunt and stood up. Both of his index fingers moved in unison creating two new disks. The man's cap had fallen off from his sudden flight. His hair almost hit the rage filled eyes as they spied his attacker.

The man in the jacket made his move for Zen as he made a move for the man on his right. He had pulled out a knife from his pocket. A swirl of purple energy encircled the weapon and his hand. The normally 3 inch blade extended into a foot long blade made of purple light. Halfway through his rush he stopped and directed his charge at the second signal he had sensed just at the doorway; Kibu. He tried to skewer whoever had launched the attack at him figuring the man was fine by himself. Indeed the first man although blinded wasn't in a bad position. As soon as Zen's hands touched him he grinned. It only took a second for he man's body to swell. No it's wasn't his body that grew, but layer upon layer energy grew upon his body. The green energy coiled about him like a snake covering him in a emerald energy field. He was now twice his original size; nearly 12 feet tall. Wildly he grabbed for his attacker the green light shrouding his body. The 2 foot wide hand reached for the bount. There were no fingers just a solid hand with thumb. From outside one could see that the large hand mimicked the motions of the man inside it's shell.

Zen's foot collided with green shell and rippled like water with the impact. The man was unharmed from the blow, but still blinded he swung again trying to catch his nimble prey. The man with the blue discs took this chance to attack. He threw the two blades at Zen and his companion. Zen narrowly missed being hit by one while the other sailed over his head. The blade that did miss bounced off the green shell and shattered like glass. In the middle of the green field the man shook his head back and forth. He rubbed his eyes and the emerald hand did the same. Blinking twice it he looked over at the fleeing bount and charged after him.

The man in the jacket entered the building and dove forward as Kibu's third bolt came firing down. After the first two attacks he now had a lock on the man's accomplice. The fact that he suddenly rose to the into the air. Puzzled as he was he felt the same sensation that the attacker had given at the beginning. The swelling of power warned him of the incoming attack. Although he wasn't as strong as the other two in combat skills he surpassed them in sixth sense. The real problem was his own offensive powers were rather short ranged. He could throw his weapon, but it would leave him defenseless should the he miss. Instead he ducked into the nearest doorway avoiding leaving himself in the open. The man make sure knew where the opponent was even if he couldn't see it. Once the others finished with their work outside he could guide them towards the second target. He was quite surprised to see the man being the first one into the building. It made sense he would run. Just as the man entered two blue discs came chasing after him. One went high the other low and to the left. The first one hissed through the air and tore into the wall. As for the second it quickly sank to hit the ground and cut a line into the carpet before it stopped and disappeared. A second later a green hand came through the hole and tore it open wider. The man with dark hair entered through the now demolished doorway and stood looking around.
"Come out you little shit!" he bellowed his voice distorted from within the green shield.

Rippers gasped as the disk flew by him and as the first one tore a hole he the wall he dove into it and deeper into the building running up the stairs where kibu had floated to he looked over had him companion and the two gave each other a slight smile as Zen jumped down and grabbed a broken piece off the building flipping back outside but instead off the front off the building he moved to the left side.

Kibu would form a ball off reishi in front off the man with the shell covering his body the ball attempting to smash into the man twice then move to ram into the man who dove into the doorway and was tracking kibu the explosion would take out the entire room hopefully the man was dead. Kibu would simply giggle still up high in the building he would shoot threee beams at the man in the green shell then move out of the building towards zen who was staring down the disk man who was sent flying from kibu"s attack prior.

Who are you..

Zen would say as kibu and him went back to back waiting for some kind of response or for them to attack it really did not matter to zen he was gonna kill them either way.

"Mel! It's on the ceiling" The man shouted as he returned to his hiding spot around the corner. He locked onto Zen as he entered the building and raced up the stairs. Mel, the man in the green shell, raised his eyes toward the dark roof hoping to catch sight of something, but Kibu was too small to notice. He barely managed to catch sight of the fleeing bount as he went up the steps. Instead of searching for whatever his companion was shouting for he chased after Zen. The steps buckled as the large frame bounded up after his target. He had barely made it halfway up before the orb of energy appeared before him. The ball hit against his shell and the field around him rippled. Mel stopped in his tracks as he was assaulted by the pink ball so suddenly. The second hit caused the armor to ripple more. As it retreated after it's second strike Mel backhanded the orb causing it to explode. The force of the blast shattered the stairs and sent him flying. His body dropped like stone to the floor below. The impact shattered the flooring. Flames licked across the his body before the green shell faded. Mel shook his head as he stood up from the small burning crater his landing had made. He looked up at the broken stairs and spat on the ground. "Son of a bitch." he grunted as one of the beams struck him and knocked him back down again. Once again he couldn't see and couldn't move his body. The last time his energy shell was the doing all the moving not his actual body. This time he wasn't so lucky.

The man in the jacket was still around the corner when the explosion had went off. The whole building had shook from the blast, but he was pretty much unharmed. He could still feel Mel in the room and the attacker, but he felt that Zen was no longer there. It didn't take much to find that he was back outside again. Rather than get in Mel's way decided to go outside as well. A moment of careful navigation he found a window and climbed out. Staying in the shadow of structure he worked his way to the the front as Zen and his pet emerged to confront the last member of their group. The man stood there with new blades hovering over his fingers. Even as Zen asked his question the man threw blue objects at the bount. Two new blades were already made within seconds of the launch. He tossed the third blade. The fourth blade hovered over his palm before growing larger in size. It was now the size of a manhole cover. With a grunt he threw the new weapon at the opponent. In his left hand a he drew a new circle.

Zen would begin to step foward giving a sadistic grin toward the man as he attempted to attack Zen but it would fail. Kibu moved in front off zen sending a wave forward knocking all the blades back then heading to hit the man dead on once again. Zen would grip his blade looking around for a moment, he needed to kill at least one off these guys and it seemed like the leader would be the one. Kibu waited until the man was hit by wave to send a beam aimed after him trying to blind the man. If it was successful Zen would move towards the man and grab him biting him and killing him by taking his soul.

After that Zen would look for his next target making sure to keep his guard up, Kibu floated high in the air looking for the member who had been in the building simply because he had that peculiar ability which was nothing to play with he would have to be dealt with while the blindness was still in affect. Kibu would get serious moving fast into the building he would blur showing his great speed which was hidden he would smash through the building spinning he aimed for the Mel to smack him down where another orb would form and be waiting for him it would move up smacking mel into the air where kibu would spin again hitting him down with his tail moving so fast he would look like a pink blur, Kibu would control the orb smacking it on the ground so that it would explode when Mel hit it again.

The man had vanished during Kibu's blast to deflect his attacks. While the smaller ones were knocked away the last one continued on it's path toward the bount and doll.
"So that's how you did it." the man said from his new position to the right of Zen and Kibu. There was still some distance between him and his opponents, but that was fine. He was sure that wasn't all the little monster could do. He had seen it used some other technique on Mel. He now tossed his fourth blade while creating his fifth. "That rat was the one that sucker punched me. And here I thought you were special." he said flatly. "So you're not with the Earth clan. I guess that means I can kill you."

Inside the building Mel struggled to free himself, but found he could not move his body. With a final grunt he closed his blinded eyes and concentrated. Very slowly his body was once again engulfed by the green glow. Once encased in the shell he stood up. Mel could move, but he still couldn't see. He growled and turned in place listening for some clue of his opponent's whereabouts. From behind he could hear the man's voice and slowly tried to walk towards it. This proved difficult as he tripped and fell to the ground. It took a second for him to right himself and then stand again. To avoid tripping again he dragged his feet rather than taking regular steps. A moment later he ran into a wall. Mel raised his hands and felt along the wall looking for the hole he had entered from. His large hand found the gap and he guided himself out. Ironically enough as he cleared the hole his vision started to clear. He could barely make out the blue blurs flying and the pink blob that was Kibu. With a roar he charged forward like a bull sending 11ft tall and 5 foot wide body barreling down on the two like a steamroller. As he got close he gave a swing of his massive arm out at them. Being unable to see he could only hope his size would make up for the lack of accuracy.

Zen jumped into the air as he noticed the man appearing to the right off him he landed on a orb that kibu made as he began to fall causing Zen and Kibu to fly high into the air, with both off them simply watching as the man with the green shell came out the building hopefully Zen and kibu would be high enough to avoid any attacks.

Zen and kibu said in unison looking down at the group as kibu began to rapid fire beams and orbs off pink energy at the two below simply trying to keep them moving as to not set up anything with enough power to reach the two off them up in the air. Zen wanted the men to speak or at least say why they were attacking zen and coming here to the bount mansion, he folded his arms and the orb he was on began to move towards a area filled with tree's Zen would jump on a branch landing up high he had a clear jump on to the top off the building he simply waited to see if the men would speak or simply keep attacking like the dunces they seemed to be. The orb moved to smash into the man with the green shell swiftly avoiding the rapid fire off beams and orbs to hit the man hopefully

The green hand swatted the empty air as the two opponents rose into the air. Mel's vision had already become clearer, but he was shocked to see strange creature and the man floating upwards. This was the first time seeing Kibu with all the blinding attacks he'd been hit with. It didn't take him to realize this as well. He did not enjoy the experience in the slightest. He redirected arm to swipe at them as they tried to move out of his range. Quite quickly did the flying rat begin it's series of attacks. These blasts had little effect on the man encased in the green shell. He could see just fine, at best the shots just slowed him down his advance for a second. Still it was hard enough dodging the attacks as big as he was. His companion fared much better as he appeared on the roof of the mansion and began to launch his own barrage of attacks on the flying creature. Blade after blade came flying at the doll. It would have to choose between trying to attack Mel or dodging. Mel took this time to focus his energies. His right arm grew larger while the rest of his body became smaller. With it's growth the fingers became more defined on the hand. He saw the ball of light coming at him, he remembered it from the last time. Rather than let it get close he used the hand to knock away. His open palm slapped the ball into the mansion. The extended hand now grabbed for Kibu as the discs continued to fly.

The third man the one in the jacket watched the events unfold from the corner of the building. Once the large scale of attacks started he hid back in the shadows. His blade vanished and he suppressed his energy waiting for a chance to attack. Just when he thought that chance would never come he felt the man move away from the battle in front of the house. From what he saw only the creature seemed the most dangerous. He made his move. He circled around and moved towards the trees. He pulled his blade out again added his energy. With the newly formed sword he slashed through the trunk of the tree Zen was standing on. The tree feel backwards and the man waited for the opponent's next move.

Kibu loved the battle and this man in the green shell was his main target at the moment everyone else seemed to blur from his line off view as he burst his shield in a 360 knocking away all attacks aimed at him, Next the ball the man swatted away would hit the wall then come back aimed at the man in the green shell and if he swatted it this time he would trigger a explosion. After protecting himself kibu would move as fast as possible rolling into a ball so he was tiny and hard to see much like in his sealed state he was the size off a tennis ball and he would move toward the blade maker shooting rapidly at him in order to blind him then if one landed kibu would move to swat him down into the building with it's tail.

Zen would be in another situation he flipped backward as the tree trunk he was on got cut landing near the building but still outside. He would scan the area for a moment pulling out his blade he would not wait for the man to attack him instead he would dart toward the building running up the side and grabbing on a ledge as he flipped into a window in a part off the house that was yet to be fully destroyed.

The ball exploded some feet from the man with the green field surrounding him. A blade had shot from the roof to intercept the ricocheting orb. Even as his own shots were deflected he noticed the strange flight pattern and had summoned another attack. His plan had been to divert the ball's course instead he had triggered it's detonation. Imagine his surprise. Surely the creature was more interesting than the fellow that accompanied him. He wondered if it might be worth their time to capture the little monster for study. It definitely wouldn't hurt. First they'd kill of the man, they didn't need him. Perhaps they could use him as a hostage. It was obvious that the creature was trying to protect the man. The man sighed to himself. The explosion would bring some unwanted attention. It would be best that they leave this for another day. As he thought this the creature suddenly flew away. The man reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
"We're pulling out." he said into the device. "Meet us at the lookout." He turned the phone off and shouted down to the other man. "Hey. We're done! Let's scram before the cops show up."
The man in the shell was less than happy, he gave out an almost animal like growl.
"What the fuck? I want to kill that little fluff!" He retorted as the shell around him returned to it's normal size. The explosion so close to his body had done no harm to him in the slightest. "You're not even trying hard!"
"Yeah, our mission wasn't to kill, but to capture." he replied as he jumped down from the building. "It's boring if you just tear everyone to ribbon without trying." the man said. The other man was going to say something, but he raised his hand for silence. Sure enough he could hear sirens in the distance. They had better hurry up their egress. Only their final member was missing. Of the three he was the less likely to get loss. If anything he could track their spiritual pressure and know where they were heading. "Come on, let's go." He ran away from the house toward the rendezvous point. The man in the shell started after him then stopped. His green hand lashed out and tore a tree in half. It was of decent size almost as big as he was. He grabbed the tattered trunk and threw it at the front of the house. The tree flew like a dart and crashed through the wall of the building. With the man's strength behind the toss it was to be expected. An even larger hole was in the wall than had been after the beginning attacks. He smirked and the shell faded as he ran after his comrade.

The third member in question was fine indeed. After cutting the tree he percieved the approach of the monster and acted accordingly; he kept moving. The trees made for good cover. The sudden flux of spiritual power signaled to him that the monster was going to attack. All the while he tracked Zen's movements. He was running. The man knew he would since he couldn't fight. He had talked big when the creature was around, but he seemed to do nothing but run away after managing that small ambush at the start. Still with the similar spiritual signal he felt the creature was connected to the man. Was the creature his power? That question would explain the obvious weak nature. All the strength in the creature mean nothing left to work with. He thought of countering Kibu, but sensed his companions moving away. He frowned. It was doubtful they were retreating. The creature had come his way to protect the endangered man, and his comrades had choose not to follow. He could only guess they had decided to abandon capturing the man, for now. For a moment he considered killing the creature now. Getting it out of the way would make thing easier later. He shrugged and let his sword vanish. Using the trees as cover he departed the area.
